#Repost @vrdmotorsport ・・・ The morning after and we can now reflect on what could have been at RallyGB. It was at this precise moment we knew our chances of victory had slipped through our grasp. After gaining a nominal time on day one we played catch up with a significant misfire and closed the lead to just five seconds heading into day two. We regained the lead after the first stage taking 23 seconds and we continued to push. Into Sweet lamb the OSR suspension damper snapped clean off taking the rear swing arm with it meaning we had to nurse the car through the next two stages before any type of repair was possible. We pushed hard with the damage still remaining taking both the final stages but it was not enough and credit goes to Team Colorado who took the class win. We did our best but luck was not on our side. Had we not took the nominal time the previous day we would have been celebrating through the night. Instead we reflect on the incredible effort put in to keep the @rsskunkwerks Denzel Beetle running to finish the most challenging @dayinsurewalesrallygb to date! It’s time to repair and come back stronger. We know we have the pace and with a bit of luck combined we fight again another day!
