Congrats Guys! What an awesome achievement! Well done!! 🥇#firstinclass — #Repost @rsskunkwerks ・・・ What a weekend of ups & downs! 1959 a Denzel Beetle won its class in an FIA event, this would be the last time a Denzel Beetle would race. 2 years ago we set out with a dream to win an FIA event in 2019, on the 60th anniversary. We knew it wouldn't be easy and would take a few years of development to get the car capable of the task. We have had major ups, downs and drama along the way, but this last weekend we managed to complete the goal and the little 1300 #DenzelBeetle won its class at #WalesRallyGB. A full story will follow via our partners. I would like to thank the VW community as a whole, the Rallying community, all my close friends (you know who you are) who have always supported us in our aim, the VW publications, all the people who stood on the stages in the forest in the rain to cheer us on, the organisation who make Wales GB possible, all the Marshals that give their time to make the sport possible.
