HLVRAI’s potential bootstrap paradox

Does HLVRAI exist in a stable time loop?

I mean, during the time travel segment at the end, Gordon goes back in time and destroys his passport. He then goes back to the Benry boss fight and kills him. But if you’ll remember, in the first episode, Gordon’s passport was not in his locker.

Is the passport not there because it’s already been destroyed by Gordon at this point?

I've got a bit of an out of place idea. Could fit with the time travel au (where Alan becomes a stick and creates the hollowheadsone by one) or possibly the vr au.

Hear me out

Platonic Hanahaki

(Hanahaki, for those that unfamiliar, is basically a magic illness that makes flowers grow inside a person's lungs when they experienced intense, unrequited love. It's usually played for romance and angst, but platonic it has so much potential)

What these AU have in common, Alan hiding the truth of his identity from them, and them coming to hate this strange human that they don't know is actually their dad. And them being So conflicted when they learn the truth.

Alan loves his stick kids, that never changes, but if the truth coming out upsets them and drives them away, that love is no longer reciprocated.

Alan feels like he deserves it. For lying to them for so long. For keeping such major secrets.

The sticks had loved their dad, but is he even their dad now? Who even is he? They distance themselves from him, angry and sad and wanting soace to figure things out.

Alan lets them go, pain in his heart. Pain that persists, never truly fading for as long as they avoid him.

Pain that grows worse, until, as he ponders if he can never make amends, if he'll never see them again, and suddenly he's choking up flower petals...

OOOOO... that would be really interesting... and very painful for him.. and he might panic a bit at first, but..

...Maybe this is deserved, too. He lied for so long... at least in VR part of it was he wasn't sure if he was ever going to get out so... what was the point in talking about what he was...?

But... Yeah... OUCH...

First time on VR chat and after about two hours of playing Cards Against Humanity, I befriended two guys; one of them had the character design of Morpheus from The Matrix and we all hung out for the next few hours. He started showing us this show he watches about time travel and shit. Then took us to a bar to explain the entire plot, everything we, as a society, know about time travel, his own speculations, the grandfather paradox, quantum mechanics...needless to say, I love this man and I would die for him
