'evil'/anti artstyle meme! inspired by excessive-moisture's post doing this same thing!!! i showed it to my friends and asked them to give out my own art traits and basically a list of things i should not do.
the result is this art style! soft colors, less purples, very round and soft, thin lines + no line weight, no trademark things like how i draw fur and mouths PLUS slightly different desighs to fit the style more! (for example spamton being drawn more like his shop sprite)
i drew several characters i'm known to draw a lot / mean a lot to me just to see them how different they are from when i draw them normally! HURTS to not have an oversaturated drawing, uegugh.... but coloring was the most fun part! i love working with colors! the worst part was the lineart because i got SO BORED. fun challenge anyway!
little explanations on each character under the cut since this is a multifandom + ocs post and i wanna short talk about my silly guys ever (my, what the kids call these days, blorbos,)
since this has multiple characters not everyone may be familiar with, here's a tiny bit of info on everyone
frostbite = my fursona! they're a bat / dragon mix. they're holding a mango! nothing much to say since they're just my sona. me, y'know?
spamton = you know him! it's spamton from deltarune chapter 2 !! he's a shopkeeper and a secret boss in the game where he appears in his 'NEO' form. he's based on scam e-mails and ads!
my freak of a son = toontown corporate clash oc - he's a goopy low baller that i call my son. or rather, toontown version of frostbite and i call him their son. regular frostbite as shown in this image and frostbite are separate. he was made using one of high roller's attacks.
scratch = my deltarune sona and self insert! they're the fourth member of sweet cap'n cakes. they're a dj! they're inspired by cat headphones, soundboards and karaoke machines! they're who this blog is named after :P
high roller = from toontown corporate clash! he is a cog 'manager' who only appears during a yearly event 'april toons'. she is a show host and a fusion of two characters ('dave brubot' and 'buck ruffler'). it's show is also the boss fight you fight when they're around!
cathal = full name cathal ray toby bravecog aka the multislacker, also from toontown corporate clash. he is a manager you can fight in-game after completing a set of 'kudos' tasks. they are the VP's son and are based on crt tvs! they're known for being 'lazy'.
blank = (full name blank b. addison) a deltarune oc for my big deltarune au named datapack au. he is an addison who got corrupted by a swatchling mask - which is a new concept introduced in my au. he used to sell movie related trinkets and was a stand-up comedian.

Hey! Trying to make this as short and to the point as possible haha, so the name’s Tulsa, I’m 26 and I’m in PST. I can typically reply multiple times during the day and evening and would prefer someone who can at least reply once a day.
Both of my requests are sort of long shots, but here it goes!
- Ouran High School Host Club: I have an oc that i’d love to play against either Kyoya or Hikaru. This would take place in a canon-divergent plotline that includes a hostess club opening up and my oc is the VP/angel type. Sounds weird, I know, but pls just give it a shot 🥺. I’m open for most plots and we can totally discuss more over dms : )
- Harry Potter: I know, I know, another oc that their creator wants to be shipped with Draco Malfoy. I get the cliche, however, the chemistry and angst is undeniable! Shes feisty and curious and maybe even a bit naive, but damnit all if she isn’t there for those she cares about! Enough about my girl though, onto the details! Dont worry, i’ll give you all of her info if we connect!
I do prefer to roleplay on discord (and major bonus points if you use tupper 🫶🏻) so, please either like this or add me there: toxicdeliquency

INDYCAR 101 PART 3 RESOURCE MASTERPOST: a 2023 guide to indycar by @thiemrossi
hi, hello, happy race week! If you want to start watching indycar this season but don't know where to start, this is for you. I couldn't cover everything, so I tried to focus on the drivers because there are so many unrecognized great personalities in indycar. If you have questions about anything on here or other stuff I didn't mention, feel free to ask me, I'm happy to help! This will also be multiple parts, so I'll link them all below
PART 1 PART 2 PART 3
This info was originally on slides, but I am just going to share it as text here. So, part 3 is a "how to find out more" masterpost.
Tumblr media
Where can I learn more about drivers? (Long-Form Content)
Off Track with Hinch & Rossi Podcast & Bonus content on Youtube
The Vibe: Long-form, unstructured, casual, funny, feels like 3 friends hanging out & talking
Weekly podcast (Thursdays) with best friends Alexander Rossi (current IndyCar driver) and James Hinchcliffe (former driver, current NBC commentator) where they discuss their lives, IndyCar, & other racing with a healthy dose of banter that descends into wonderful absolute chaos in the off season
Fun for new fans & a great way to get to know two key personalities in the series especially if you listen after a race weekend
But you will miss inside jokes (which make it more fun) if you haven’t listened to the old episodes, so I highly recommend going back and listening to those if you have time
Speed Street Podcast with Conor Daly & Joey Mulinaro (full episodes also on Youtube)
The Vibe: Long-form, semi-structured, funny, honest, & casual but also journalistic
Weekly podcast (Wednesdays) with friends Conor Daly (IndyCar Driver) & Joey Mulinaro (Comedian, Journalist) with commentary and interviews from all racing series
Great way to get to know Conor & the drivers he interviews plus get great insider insight into race weekends
Conor also just talks in a very entertaining way that I find very funny
Dinner with Racers Podcast
The Vibe: VERY long-form, unstructured, casual, personal
Hosts Sean and Ryan get to know various figures in racing through long form unstructured conversations over dinner
These guys REALLY get drivers to open up & are very funny with it
All of the IndyCar driver/series figures episodes are great I highly recommend them
Trackside Podcast/Radio Show
The Vibe: structured, journalistic, informative
Weekly Indianapolis Radio Show with NBC commentator Kevin Lee and IndyCar VP Curt Cavin with series news and driver interviews (also available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts)
They're probably the best series news podcast imo because they discuss things in an engaging way & give info we may not have heard yet
The Marshall Pruett Podcast: This Week in IndyCar
The Vibe: structured-ish, journalistic but can be casual
Weekly updates about the series, answering questions, driver interviews
Marshall has great insight but his podcasts can be hard to listen to because he rambles and talks slow, but the info is generally good & accurate
COMING SOON: 100 Days to Indy
IndyCar Docuseries produced by Vice and the CW following the lead up to the 107th Indianapolis 500 premieres April 27th at 9pm EST on the CW (will be available internationally as well)
Where can I learn more about drivers? (Short-Form Content)
Bus Bros with Josef Newgarden & Scott McLaughlin
The Vibe: Medium-form, structured but casual and fun, essentially a comedy show
IndyCar drivers Josef & Scott try local foods, interview fans, tour other drivers/fans motorhomes, read mean tweets etc.
Super fun for new fans so highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already!
If you want to see drivers having fun & showing their personalities this one is for you
Romain Grosjean Youtube
The Vibe: Short-form, technical, comparative Has a couple driver interviews (Pato, Scott McLaughlin, Conor Daly) but a lot of videos demonstrating technical differences between IndyCar and F1 if that's something you're interested in
All of these are behind the scenes during race weekends
Admit1 with Josef Newgarden You Don’t Know Jack with Jack HarveyPato O’Ward YouTubeIndyCar Inside the RaceArrow McLaren YouTubeJuncos Hollinger YouTubeOutside the Line Andretti YouTube
How to watch IndyCar
United States
All practices, qualifying, & races available live & on replay with a Peacock subscription
All races (except Toronto which is Peacock exclusive) are also broadcast live on network TV on NBC or USA network
Canada
TSN & TSN+ (this is new I think)
Australia
Stan Sport *looks* to be similar to peacock they’ll carry practice, qualifying, races & replays this season
UK
SkySportsF1 broadcasts most of the races but from what I understand they won’t cut to IndyCar if F1 post-race is still happening & have also heard they sometimes replay the F1 race over indycar :/
According to IndyCar, you can subscribe to IndyCar Live to watch practice and qualifying but no clue how much additional cost that would be or if it actually works
Latin America (except Belize and the Carribean Islands)
ESPN (unclear if they’ll carry all sessions)
Elsewhere:
Check here
if your country does not have a race broadcaster IndyCar live will probably be available & even if they do, it might still be available to watch practice and qualifying
Here's NBC's graphic with the race schedule but download the IndyCar app!!! it is the most helpful race weekend resource to have!! It has all the session times & driver radios are free to listen to during races if you make an account!! you can also listen to the radio feed of the whole race (at least in the US) & check championship standings live!! it's one thing this series does right!! download it!!

Thanks for reading I hope you found these posts helpful & if you have questions feel to ask me!

Hi can I ask you for some info? I’m kinda surprised they got invited to this Vice President Event. Don’t get me wrong, I’m elated they were but I didn’t think they were famous enough??? I’m not from US so my perception might be warped but I really thought 911 Lone Star and Tk and Carlos were a bit niche, definitely not the kind of show everyone knows about, much smaller than Grey’s Anatomy or 911 OG or Heartstopper (all shows with queer rep). So is LS bigger in the US than I thought or is queer rep still so rare they invited everyone who plays a queer character or is it something else?
Good morning lovely! I'd be happy to answer.
Now, I'm not an expert so what I'm saying is just all speculation but I don't think it all had to do with level of fame.
The VP worked with GLAAD to host the event so I'm sure GLAAD was the one who invited people. Lone Star just won a GLAAD award, so LS is obviously on their radar and I would say LS is pretty popular. Before it premiered in the US there was a lot of press on it, actors doing interviews and such. Then there were all of the interviews Ronen and Rafael have done to promote the wedding. And they've been on the cover of a few magazines, so they're definitely climbing the ladder.
From what I've seen, it doesn't look like super famous people were at the event. I know some Instagram Personalities / Influencers who are very active in the LGBT+ community and advocate for them. So, I personally do not think that they had to be "famous enough" to be invited. Ronen and Rafael have both had such a huge impact on a lot of LGBT+ spaces.
I hope this answers your questions. Again I'm not an expert, this is based on what I've seen. 💙

Hawkins, 1959: a regular town with regular worries. Young Jim Hopper’s car won’t start, Bob Newby’s sister won’t take his radio show seriously and Joyce Maldonado just wants to graduate and get the hell out of town. When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family finds that a fresh start isn’t so easy… and the shadows of the past have a very long reach.
Brought to life by a multi-award-winning creative team, who take theatrical storytelling and stagecraft to a whole new dimension, this gripping new adventure will take you right back to the beginning of the Stranger Things story – and may hold the key to the end.
Matt and Ross Duffer said: “We are beyond excited about Stranger Things: The First Shadow. Collaborating with the brilliant Stephen Daldry has been nothing short of inspiring, and Kate Trefry has written a play that is at turns surprising, scary, and heartfelt. You will meet endearing new characters, as well as very familiar ones, on a journey into the past that sets the groundwork for the future of Stranger Things. We’re dying to tell you more about the story but won't - it’s more fun to discover it for yourself. Can’t wait to see you nerds in London!”
Sonia Friedman said: “The world and mythology of Stranger Things has enabled a rich and fertile ground for creating an incredible story for the stage. Set within the canon of Stranger Things, this new play opens in London, with the West End hosting the only place in the world to experience this new story – for now. I’m thrilled to reunite with my visionary long-term collaborator Stephen Daldry. Together, with our brilliant Netflix partners, we can’t wait to welcome Stranger Things fans into theatre, and theatregoers into the realm of Stranger Things.”
Greg Lombardo, VP Live Experiences for Netflix said, “Stranger Things has captured the imagination of fans around the world and we are incredibly thrilled to expand this exciting universe with Netflix’s first live stage production. With the creative talents of Matt and Ross Duffer combined with Sonia Friedman and Stephen Daldry, theatregoers will be swept up in a truly epic event worthy of Stranger Things.”

Zapraszam do lektury najnowszego wydania :)
Wykorzystujesz w swojej pracy serwer webowy NGINX?
Historyczne uwarunkowania i ograniczenia sprzętowe ukształtowały mentalność tych ludzi, prowadząc do maksymalnej optymalizacji i minimalizmu.
5) Twoja firma powinna zatrudniać juniorów - oto dlaczego https://softwaredoug.com/blog/2024/09/07/your-team-needs-juniors INFO: Artykuł omawia kluczowe korzyści z zatrudniania młodszych programistów, i to pomimo rosnącego trendu w BigTechach polegającego na preferowaniu doświadczonych specjalistów.
W artykule wspomina on o samodzielnie hostowanych usługach, takich jak PiHole, UniFi controller, TrueNAS, gitea, VS Code itp.
Co doprowadziło go do takiego miejsca w życiu i jakie porady może on dać ludziom, którzy chcieliby go naśladować?

Shielding Your Shores: Offshore DDoS Protection Explained
In today's digital age, websites are vulnerable to a growing threat – Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks. These attacks overwhelm your website with junk traffic, making it inaccessible to legitimate users. Offshore DDoS protection offers a robust solution, particularly for businesses with a global presence.
Tumblr media
Understanding DDoS Attacks:
Offshore DDos Protection your shop entrance, preventing genuine customers from entering. That's essentially what a DDoS attack does. Hackers flood your website with traffic from multiple compromised devices worldwide, causing a server overload and downtime. This disrupts business operations, damages reputation, and leads to lost revenue.
Why Consider Offshore DDoS Protection?
Traditional DDoS protection often relies on filtering traffic within your hosting region. However, for geographically dispersed businesses, offshore protection offers distinct advantages:
Global Network Coverage: Offshore providers have servers strategically located around the world. This allows them to filter malicious traffic closer to its source, reducing latency and ensuring faster mitigation.
Enhanced Capacity: Offshore providers often boast massive server networks, capable of handling even the most intense DDoS attacks. This ensures your website remains operational even under heavy traffic loads.
Advanced Threat Detection: Leading offshore providers employ sophisticated DDoS mitigation techniques like scrubbing centers and advanced traffic filtering. This helps identify and block malicious traffic more effectively.
Improved Redundancy: Offshore protection adds another layer of defense. If your primary DDoS protection system experiences an overload, the offshore solution can kick in, ensuring continued website availability.
Choosing the Right Offshore DDoS Protection Provider:
Not all offshore DDoS protection providers are created equal. Here's what to consider:
Network Footprint: Look for a provider with a global network of servers strategically located in key regions. This ensures comprehensive coverage for your target audience.
Mitigation Techniques: Choose a provider that employs advanced scrubbing centers, traffic filtering tools, and real-time threat analysis to effectively combat DDoS attacks.
Scalability: Ensure the provider's network can handle traffic spikes and DDoS attacks of varying magnitudes.
Customer Support: Opt for a provider with 24/7 customer support to guarantee prompt assistance in case of an attack.
Compliance: Consider any industry-specific data security regulations you need to comply with, and choose a provider that meets those requirements.
The Benefits of a Secure Shore:
Investing in offshore DDoS protection offers significant advantages:
Peace of Mind: Knowing your website is shielded from DDoS attacks allows you to focus on running your business without worrying about disruptions or downtime.
Enhanced Uptime: Offshore protection ensures your website remains accessible to legitimate users, minimizing revenue loss and reputational damage.
Improved Customer Experience: A DDoS-protected website translates to a smoother user experience for your customers, fostering trust and loyalty.
Global Reach, Secure Access: Offshore protection allows you to confidently expand your reach to new markets without compromising website security.
In conclusion, offshore DDoS protection is a powerful tool for businesses operating in the global digital landscape. By choosing the right provider, you can ensure your website remains secure, accessible, and resilient against even the most sophisticated DDoS attacks.

Germany server
How does a Germany server compare to servers in other countries in terms of performance?
I carefully looked at how well Germany servers work compared to others. With info from reliable sources, we clearly see Germany server are better in performance, reliability, and security.
Germany is known for its strong economy and solid infrastructure. These are key for running hosting services. The country's VPS providers are famous for top-quality stuff and services. They really focus on ensuring everything is done perfectly. The strict German laws mean VPS services are safe and dependable.
When you look at Germany against other places, its tech and internet are ahead. This means servers in Germany run well with little downtime. This is great news for businesses. Germany also cares a lot about protecting data, thanks to laws like GDPR. This sets very high standards for keeping information safe.
Tumblr media
Key Takeaways
Germany servers offer superior performance, reliability, and security compared to servers in other regions.
The robust economy, stable infrastructure, and rigorous legal system in Germany contribute to the high quality of hosting services.
German VPS providers are renowned for their commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
Germany's advanced technological infrastructure and high-speed connectivity ensure minimal downtime and maximum uptime for businesses.
Stringent data protection regulations in Germany provide a secure environment for hosting services, benefiting both providers and users.
The Significance of Server Location
A server's place is super important for fast speed and good performance. In Europe, many choose to host servers in the Netherlands or Germany. This is because they are close to many users there. So, websites load quickly and work well for people in Europe.
Also, the type of network a server has matters a lot. In Germany and the Netherlands, big internet centers help make a strong network. For example, places like DE-CIX in Frankfurt and AMS-IX in Amsterdam make sure servers have a fast connection and can reach many networks. This strong network is key for good server performance and dependability.
Proximity to User Base
Picking a server close to where most users are is key for a website's success. For example, if lots of people visit from Italy, hosting the site in Italy may not always help a lot. Several things, like how many stops the data makes and the connections it uses, can affect this. Places with Internet Exchange Points and strong networks can lower these issues. For instance, MIX in Milan and GARR in Italy help make data go faster, work better, and cost less.
Network Infrastructure and Connectivity
The amount of internet a network can handle affects website speed. How fast data moves (latency, in milliseconds) is based on the distance and quality of the path it takes. Service like CDNs from CloudFlare make a site faster by using servers that are closer to users. This cuts down on the time it takes for data to travel, making websites load quicker and run smoother.
It's also important to follow rules like the GDPR when choosing where to put a server. That's because data laws change from place to place. By placing a server in the right location, it's easier to make sure you're following the law and protecting people's information.
Conclusion
Germany's servers can work differently from those in other places. They might have issues like lag and slow registrations. But, Germany is in a good spot and has strong internet connections. This makes it a top pick for many people and companies.
The server issues in Germany are being fixed. Players faced problems like slow game starts but they are getting better. Things like VPNs and adding a new server in Frankfurt have helped a lot. Also, moving some servers to North America made the experience smoother.
There were fake stories about servers being taken during elections in Frankfurt. This was proven untrue, which shows that Germany’s server setup is reliable. Now, businesses and people can find great and affordable server options in Germany. Its location and strong networks ensure a good experience for users.
FAQ
How does a Germany server compare to servers in other countries in terms of performance?
EU servers, including those in Germany, often face problems like lag, desync, and hit registration issues. These can make gameplay unfair during fights. In comparison, NA servers offer a smoother experience with no major problems.
What is the significance of server location?
A server's location is crucial for low latency and great performance. Germany and the Netherlands are key hosting spots in Europe because they're near many users. They provide quick loading times and reliable service for those living nearby.
These countries are also home to big internet exchanges. For example, DE-CIX is in Frankfurt and AMS-IX is in Amsterdam. This ensures fast connections and access to many network providers. The strong, reliable network in these areas helps improve server performance.
What are the key factors to consider for Germany servers?
German servers, part of EU infrastructure, might not always match North America's server performance. Issues like lag and hit registration problems are common in the EU, including Germany. Still, Germany stands out for its excellent network setup and eco-friendly hosting options.

Choose an email hosting service that seamlessly integrates with other business tools and applications you use, such as CRM software, productivity suites, and collaboration platforms. This ensures smooth workflow and productivity.
Types of Email Hosting
There are three main types of email hosting: shared hosting, virtual private server (VPS) hosting, and dedicated hosting.
Shared Hosting: Ideal for small businesses with limited budgets, shared hosting involves multiple users sharing the same server resources.
Virtual Private Server (VPS) Hosting: Provides a dedicated portion of a server with virtualized resources, offering more control and customization options than shared hosting.
Dedicated Hosting: Offers an entire server exclusively for your business, providing maximum performance, security, and customization.
Comparison of Email Hosting Providers
When comparing email hosting providers, consider factors such as pricing, features, and customer support.
Pricing
Compare pricing plans offered by different providers, considering both upfront costs and long-term expenses.
