Obvs this is from last week, but it stuck with me because THIS is one of those issues that endures.

Tr$mp was HORRIBLE. LOATHSOME. and VERY BAD.

Biden is not my dream President, but he's a human being and NOT TR$MP. And, honestly? I like a lot of what Biden does. He more closely aligns with my values than people who want to burn the world down to watch everyone who's not an old, white, rich man cry.

So, #VoteBlue. The midterms are in a month & the House controls the purse strings. Senate controls the judges. Letting GOP get one or either will be BAD and make you less free. (they'll make abortion bans nationwide, steal your Social Security, take your parents' Medicare payments away so they have to rely on you or starve, outlaw birth control/gay marriage/bedroom privacy aka gay sex & kinky sex, give big Oil more $ & finish off the planet, etc.)

It's a pretty clear choice.

I really hope everyone that can vote does vote or if there was early voting in your state that you already voted. I really do believe that Democracy is on the ballot and I really hope that the Democrats hold on to the House and the Senate because the Republicans scare me with the many bigotries they say. This is why I am posting this January 6th, 2021 was a domestic terrorist attack they were trying to overthrow our government and Trump was in on it this has been proven now if you have been paying attention to January 6th hearings and they are not done yet; they the election deniers are running in all branches of government and they are still doing violence just look at what happened to Nancy Pelosi's husband. I am really hoping that enough people put Country ahead of Politics because all humans are equal no matter how you divide, classify and group the humans. We are still humans and we humans deserve life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. There are no favored groups of humans no matter how much certain groups want there to be. I know I’ve probably drawled on quite a lot about #VoteBlueIn2022. But take this into account: If the GOP regains control of the House AND Senate, that means not only will attempts at progress be blocked for who-knows-how-long, but that means people’s rights could be put at risk or obliterated entirely!

And as someone who lived under the worst Presidency from 2017 up until 2021, I know what’s up.

I don’t want to live in a country where members of the LGBTQ+ including myself have less rights than straight people; a country where my own mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunts, countless female cousins, nieces and female friends have less rights than a god damn automatic rifle or handgun; where we the working people barely or hardly make enough to afford our own homes and/or have be forced to choose between costly healthcare or death, going homeless or starving to death; where people of color are harassed or arrested JUST FOR EXISTING!

Seriously! I think you all KNOW what could be at stake for the next two years if we don’t take action and #VOTE. So please, vote like your rights depend on it. Because they literally still do!

Vote BLUE or LOSE BIG

I know. I know voting is a pain & kinda boring... and it’s frustrating that the promises don’t come through, etc etc

But, seriously.  You MUST vote for Democrats to hold House & Senate.  I’m not kidding.

The GOP likes to sit back smugly & blame Biden for everything & their evil leader even says they’ll tell us their agenda AFTER they retake power.  But their agenda is leaking out the edges and it SUCKS.

- No abortions, even if an ectopic pregnancy or other medical thing will kill the woman.  Doesn’t matter.  Only the fetus’ life matters to them.

-Trans rights... of ANY kind? Nah.  They’re already cutting trans sport participation.  

- Gay marriage.  We thought this one was done?  NOPE.  They’re talking about Obergefell... they want to send gay marriage back to the states.  If you live in a red state, your marriage will be invalidated.

- INTERRACIAL marriage.  2 GOP lawmakers have mentioned sending that back to the state just this week.

- Medicare/Medicaid.  They want to get rid of these.  Millions of poor people would die in the streets without them.  Just as the Boomers get elderly.

- Social Security.  They want to end it.  Elderly people. Disabled people.  The GOP only cares about people as labor.  Otherwise, they do NOT care what happens to them.

- Support for Ukraine? Not if the GOP nutjobs bring back Tr$mp and he takes us out of NATO.

- Fair elections?  The right to vote? DEMOCRACY?  Their actions & proposed laws do not support any of these.

So, please for the love of all that is kind and good and decent in America, VOTE in the 2022 Midterms.  Look up your voter status.  Make sure they haven’t changed your party or listed you inactive.  Fix it if you have to.  Just make sure to VOTE.  #VOTEBLUEIN2022

Psst... if we get a bigger Senate majority then Manchin & Sinema don’t matter & Dems can really get stuff done.
