"So, You Want to be Part of My Club?~"

"Club Dev Hour is a nightclub which is host to all kinds of individuals. Open every night each week, you will find some comfort in the music to dance the night away to, the tasty drinks and if you want to, in the pits of someones gut or have your gut filled~"

Here are some things about the Club Dev Hour lil universe. You are welcome to make original characters or writing based in this universe, see more info below~:

You must have a ticket to enter.

Do not remove your wristband you receive while in the club, you will not be allowed back in if you leave or you can be removed if there is no valid proof you had a wristband (eg; copy of a ticket, ticket receipt, etc.)

No devouring anyone without permission! Any misbehaving with this rule will have that happen to them, often carried out by Valerian himself.

Do not do anything without another permission PERIOD! Again, this can result in a ban from the club or possible Karma brought to you.

If any guests are making you uncomfortable, harassing, etc; report to the guards or staff of the club. We strive to make sure everyone feels safe in this environment.

All employees as part of their contract will be assigned reformation to ensure if the boss does get hungry, you will return!

Some job roles include; bar tender, bouncers/guards within the club, clean up duties, performers, dj's, receptionist and hosts.

Valerian has his personal body guards which are separate from those who's roles are to make sure everyone is safe in the club

Like any job, you are given holidays and with Club Dev Hour, you are not expected to work every night!

The pay is fair for everyone

If you are having issues or problems with your tasks or another staff member, Valerian and/or his body guards will happily help out in any way they can.

You call in sick? Don't worry, we all have our off days and Valerian will happily make sure to take the time you need to rest up.

You are allowed to devour on duty, but do adhere to the rules of the club.

All guest are recommended to have an active reformation in place. We can provide a single night reformation service if you do not have one in place.

There are seven types of tickets; Prey ticket (if you are strictly prey; you will receive a special code to remember along with your full name if you are to be digested, more info below), Pred ticket (if you are strictly pred), Switch ticket (You lean both towards prey and pred, you will also be given a code like the prey ticket), D.N.E ticket (Do Not Eat which is a ticket for those who do not wish to partake in any vore happenings but wish to attend the club for its other entertainments or wish to observe instead.) and the highest priced tickets, V.I.P. tickets (Very Important Prey, Very Important Pred or Very Important Person (for those who do not want to be part of the vore aspects); these ticket holders have access to special rooms and services the club provides)

There are seasonal tickets as well which are like membership cards for reoccurring customers if they are interested. Tickets will be at a discount for these club members and offers such as a free drink or an upgraded ticket can be handed out to luck winners too.

You will receive a colored wristband which allocates you to your ticket so everyone can be identified. There are signs around the club to help you identify what each wristband means

These wristbands can not be destroyed easily so, for example, if you are an endo or temporary prey, the wristband will not dissolve.

There is on sight reformation locations for those digested on sight which allows you to receive your wristbands again. This is where you say the code or your full name to a staff member who will happily be of service to you. If you are a pred who has tested the waters, please provide your full name and we will see what we can do.

Of course I have this open to anyone who would like to create an oc or even do some writing based in Club Dev hour! There are some rules to follow that i am sure you all will do anyways:

Well, they met after Kris already sold their soul...and got off to a bit of a rough start! Turns out there's a bit of a learning curve for taming eldritch beasts.

i love the privacy and intimacy that comes with being swallowed by a fat pred. beneath the layers of fat it becomes difficult to tell that they've eaten someone at all, and it muffles all the sound of the outside world so all you can hear is the sounds of the pred's body working around you. its just your little secret that you're tucked away inside, where no one knows and no one can bother you.

There's something so fascinating about being a pred, and having prey inside me. It's a strange and wonderful sensation.

I just look down and see a small (or big, depending on the size of my prey) protrusion in my belly, and I can place a hand on it and feel something in response, maybe a wriggle, a small impact or even a hand placed back because there is a living person in there.

And there's also the feeling of fullness, not full of food (though granted I do feel that as well) but full of life. My stomach is currently home to a living being. And they feel so happy for it.

The idea of being able to look at someone I care about and see them happy, then a few minutes later look down to see the lump they make in my midsection, vaguely wriggling about as they get comfy, tucked away so close to me and safe from anything and anyone who tried to hurt them. They are safe and I will ensure their safety.

You are not food, you’re not prey. When I met you, you weren’t scared. You didn’t shy away even as I drooled with hunger because you knew that being an easy meal was not who you were.

Until I made it that way.

I made you into prey. You are only a meal for me, and I intend to keep it that way. You deny it and maybe weep some sweet tears, but you know deep down no-one else could do this to you like I do. On your own, you are a being - But to me you will always be just a tasty snack.

And I don’t care how many times I get to prove that to you.

Are all shapeshifters sizeshifters in your universe or can you have one without the other?

You can defo have one without the other!

I haven't much explored the idea of other shapeshifters, but again. Shifters are a species. Sizeshifting is an ability, and while it is inherently linked to shifters in my universe, I guess a person who had the ability to sizeshift could have it without being a shifter themselves? They would just have to use some sort of magical means, and said magical means are. quite restricted/not believed in.

Chris can only shapeshift because of an unfortunate pact he made with a demon. In his defence, he didn't really have much time to think on it. The options were either to make a pact with a demon, or bleed out on the floor, and Christopher's decision making skills were very sorely impacted by him bleeding out on the floor.

Does he regret taking the deal? No. But sometimes he wonders if he could've worded it better.

So with all of that said- these abilities COULD theoretically exist without someone being a shifter, it would just be Extremely Unlikely.

The next panel shows Cio looking over her shoulder, eyes narrowed. She says, "There's another way to open the door."

Allison, sweating and looking horrified, says, "Oh. Fuck. No. Fuck no." Felicia, still covering her ears, has a speech bubble with just two question marks in it.

Cio, looking down, says, "It's so obvious, so ingenious. Arguing it about it only loses you time. And even if you do open the door. It poisons your group. Sows mistrust and fear. It's the perfect defense."

Cio turns fully to the group, eyes narrowed. The open mouth is fully visible behind her. She says, "I thought of this door often. Only someone like Yabalchoath could open it. Somebody with no friends in the world. Because there's only one way to beat it."

The final panel shows Oscar dragging Lucky Felicia backwards; Felicia is crying and sweating. Oscar says, "Yeah! Decide who to feed to the door before you even start! Keh heh heh!"

On the concept of "hunger," there is a very appealing vibe to it. In fiction, hunger can encompass many things—desire, lust, indulgence—very human sins. But there's also the concept of eating as in to "partake." To make something a part of yourself. And to engulf, to encompass, to devour.

Personally I love the concept of hunger in literature. Especially when it starts off literal before turning metaphorical. For example, in the case of a vampire falling in love with a human, etc. I love the concept of hunger slowly turning into love. For desire to move from engulfing to possessing. I'm not saying it's a perfect love, don't get me wrong. It's just..... interesting to read.

I love the idea of a pred and prey relaxing together, pred's stomach growls, prey says "let me help with that" before crawling into pred's mouth, and then both relaxing again with prey curled up going to sleep and pred calmly and happily rubbing their belly
