Apologies if this is rude and feel free to ignore this but have you ever thought about making a Patreon tier for solar lunacy updates? It might help keep your work more protected then ao3 ^-^

I'm sorry, but I cannot do that! Not only is not right legally (at least in my country) but I have a moral stance on not putting written fanworks behind a paywall and keeping fanfiction free. Even my art works on patreon are just chill early access/wips, meaning if someone isn't a patreon they don't need to worry about missing out because it will be shown on my tumblr eventually. This info is in my FAQ page

The patreon is more just to voluntary support me in general (and to get stickers, but those are physical handmade items I mail out) so currently SL is going to sit in a google doc until later

Fucking funniest thing is, the FBI seizes any links that lead to the genuine Z-Library, but without fail leave up all the scam ones that pretend to be fundraising for Z-Lib.

Anyway, if you have a Z-library login and use it on any z-lib link that ends .is, .io, .to babes you're being scammed! Check the security of the email address you've used and also if you're reusing that particular password anywhere, change it ASAP. If you have made a transaction, block it PRONTO!

Z-lib exists on the concept of free access to books, you have previously been and will always be allowed a limited download of 3 (or 5 or 10) downloads a day, depending on whether you have an account or have made donations.

See, Z-library has fundraised in the past, but they will never cut off your access for not donating. Do you know how much IP law-related trouble they'd be in if they were explicitly charging for access to books that the US legal system already views as 'stolen'?

There are a few ways of accessing them now, most are through torrenting (need help? Reddit or Telegram apparently), many of the regular browser web URLs have been seized.

When in doubt, do not click. Trust your instincts if you feel anything is off. If you're unsure about a z lib link, try a libgen mirror or something else instead.

Posting this here because I know a LOT of readers, students, broke folks that would like access to books, other folks with geographical barriers; basically a lot of folks who might potentially use something like Z-Library. So FYI and heads up, stay safe out there. Change that password! (And feel free to reblog this, again for aforementioned reasons)

i'm working on it as much as i can, i swear!!! 😭 right now i've got 73 .package files in my folder. i have to make sure they're good quality, cohesive, have to make sure every object has nice swatches, is tagged, has slots, a thumbnail and description, etc. and sometimes i decide to re-do an object if i'm not satisfied with the mesh

this is why i didn't want to throw a date out there. deadlines give me indigestion. and suppress my creativity, because then it's "gotta post fast" instead of coming up with new/better ideas and making the best version of my set(s)

Blood donation was an ABJECT FAILURE 🤪😭🩸

Who could’ve imagined I would experience a pack failure on my first donation rendering my donation 100% useless. I was IN the chair and being ACTIVELY BLED when the nurse realized the sampling part of the pack was faulty and that they would not be able to test my blood pre-transfusion, thus making it not appropriate for purpose. I gave maybe 200ml out of the standard 470ml before the donation had to be stopped, and ofc I cannot go back and donate more until I’ve waited the same time as everyone else. I have rebooked for October and I hope things are better this time

I know that’s kind of the go-to thing to show that a vampire character is “one of the good ones” or whatever but it actually seems a little bit more fucked up for a vampire to steal blood from a blood bank than for a vampire to attack people for blood, at least as long as it’s not the kind of vampire where a bite is instantly lethal like it never stops bleeding. 

People can recover from losing some blood but blood bank blood is constantly in short supply and is reserved for people who imminently need blood transfusion of a specific blood type or else they die.
