In this last universe, Keith and Lance grew up together as childhood friends, and I imagine they go on to fall in love with each other as they get older 🥰 it reminds me a lot of one of my fave klance fanfictions with this premise but I can't remember its name!!! I just remember Lance called Keith Snickers 🤔 do you know this Fanfiction?

Pidge’s is wearing a ‘Sporting Coach’ outfit as it scream at her to HURRY UP AND FIND YOUR FAMILY ALREADY GO GO GO THEYRE PROBABLY DEAD RN BECAUSE YOURS SO SLOW

Hunk’s is magnetic somehow, and is forcing Hunk away from even the tiniest thing that scares him.

Keith’s is a feral galra, wild with pure RAGE

Shiro’s is normal, except has hundreds of thousands of pounds tied onto his back, and keeps managing to climb onto Shrio’s back.

But Lance’s is just, a normal clone? At first its hard to tell who’s the clone, because when he’s around the real Lance looks just as mirserable as the other paladins do with their clones. But after a while it clicks:

Lance’s clone is so similar to the real Lance, because the real Lance hates everything about himself.

I’m not sorry :)

Shiro takes a deep breath — he can do this.

He can.

Sure, this maybe wasn’t part of the plan. Sure, he’s a little underprepared. But he’s managed to keep most of his plants alive, yeah? And his goldfish! So how hard can a child be?

He forces himself to repeat this as he closes the over door. Fine. This is fine. Keith’s a good kid, anyway. Yeah, maybe he’s got a bit of a kleptomania problem, but what teen doesn’t? Shiro used to steal shit all the time when he was a kid. Sure, he was stealing, like, CDs, and Keith has graduated to stealing automobiles, but Shiro is sure it’s fine.

Maybe Keith has a future career in the spy industry. Who is Shiro to suppress that path?

Shiro takes a moment to tilt his head down the hallway, listening carefully. There’s nothing — Keith must be reading, or something. (Really, he’s a pretty quiet kid.)

Deeming it safe, Shiro takes a moment to properly freak out. So he’s picked up a child, basically. Never can it be said that Shiro has wonderful control over his impulses. But this is something he’s wanted for a long time, right? A kid? He’s read the parenting books. He’s gone to seminars. This is a little different than he planned, sure, but it’s not like he could just leave Keith there. It was the right choice. It was fate!

The oven finally beeps, startling Shiro a little.

“Keith, kiddo! Dinner’s ready!”

There’s no sound of movement for a moment, for long enough that Shiro has enough time to take the mac ‘n cheese out of the oven and grab a couple bowls before Keith finally appears in the kitchen. He watches carefully as Shiro attempts to cut the food into square-ish portions.

It crackles, in a way pasta does not usually crackle.

“I think I’m going to need some hot sauce for that,” Keith says politely.

Shiro sighs, looking forlornly at the attempt of dinner.

“Yeah, I don’t blame you. There’s a bottle of what Adam calls ‘asshole liquifier’ on the top shelf of the pantry. That’s probably the only thing that’s going to work.”

Keith laughs, then looks startled, like he’s shocked he actually made the sound. He stands strangely for a moment, like he’s not sure what to do.

Shiro hides a smile in his hand.

The food is, frankly, kind of horrible. And that’s putting it lightly. Obviously, Shiro has some work to do — there’s a reason Adam cooks for the two of them, usually. But Keith actually sits at the table with him, for the whole time, and answers Shiro’s nosy questions about his hobbies and interests and what have you. Monosyllabic, yes or no answers, sure, but answers none the less. Progress. Plus, Keith even looks like he isn’t miserable.

He looks…calm. Chill, even.

Maybe Shiro really can handle this.
