Ravenpaw was popular with Queens, whom Tigerstar made sure to spread rumors among first whenever he was watching over Swiftkit and Lynxkit.

Firepaw sounds different to the other cats, which is one of the things that causes hostility towards him from others.

Cinderpelt is actually shown with her snail friends. She has a few around the Cleric den, but her favorite one actually comes inside, the rest just chill near it.

Sasha's time in Tigerclan is seen in more detail, and is explicitly included in the Special Book, Sasha's Family.

Volewhisper, Deadfoot, Barkface, and Rosetail all deal with chronic pain. Volewhisper's leg often aches and gets worse when he pushes himself. Deadfoot's got an old tail wound that can be quote uncomfortable if he is sat down. Barkface's hips give him trouble, made worse when he runs for his life during the Windclan Massacre. Rosetail has pain in her..."Wrist" joints. No injuries caused it but they're also behind her early retirement, along with her extreme grief. They all use different ways of coping!

Fernkit was born MASSIVE. She becomes an apprentice early, between Into The Wild and Fire and Ice. She's still close with her siblings and mom, though.

Cloudkit, while still fostered by Brindleface and incredibly close with her, is acknowledged as not her kit necessarily, but that they have a special bond that would transcend things like blood. It's that bond that starts showing some cats they can be close to others who aren't their blood-kin. Cloud is treated a little more like Firekin.

Both Sorrelkit and Rainkit have epilepsy, though Sorrel's is made worse by Darkstripe. Rainkit's seizures are really annoying to him, especially of they happen while he's trying to play with his brother and sister. They're not common but he makes a big fuss when his absent seizure makes him unaware that Sorrelkit was about to find his hiding spot. Sorrelkit isn't bothered when she has one, the cheerful kid never seems to let things get to her.

The first leader ceremony seen is Firestar's. We see Nightstar's failed ceremony and, after The Darkest Hour, we see Tigerstar's in his own book, Tigerclaw's Fury.

Leopardstar is referenced to have been named for the strength of Leopardclan, and her own crimes are much more subtly pronounced then Tigerstar's.

Fireheart's explicitly favorite thing to learn is Clan History, especially the Mythical Clans. He becomes close with Willowpelt through this, as she is the Historian of Thunderclan.

nightstar's situation is so fucking bonkers his leader was his apprentice who retired his ass and exiled him. his brother was the #1 brokenstar supporter and the guy who killed spottedleaf, but also stood by nightpelt's side to save volepaw and littlepaw. then his brother's son becomes his deputy after reclaiming shadowclan, only to promptly DIE before they can stop tigerclaw from taking over. that's all aside from not being granted nine lives holy SHIT this guy is having a bad time.

Volepaw and Mosspaw! or Volewhisper, but that's only confirmed by the website family tree as far as I can tell, so take that with a grain of salt. Mosspaw is the first kit to be apprenticed early under Brokenstar as he was the largest of his litter, Volepaw and Dawnpaw soon after. Mosspaw is killed in a training accident at wetkit and brownkit's claws, before the kits have even been apprenticed. Volepaw was also killed as an underage paw, by an infected ratbite, but this was retconned in Nightstar's graphic novel where he is snuck away to the elder's camp to recover. So I guess he could have lived long past that, with the warrior name of Volewhisper! Design notes, I made Volewhisper ginger, and gave both paw's a combined kit blue sclera and adult color iris.

hiii, long time no see! i wanna get back into working on this blog, so here's the first request kitty! Volewhisper!

i based him heavily off his sister, Dawncloud! her eyes are blue with a little yellow in them, and Vole's are yellow with a bit of blue! i'm not rly sold on the lighter flecks for him, but i added em anyway.

drawing so much Scooby Doo stuff lately has left me really enjoying adding stubble to characters lol. i think it looks cute, and honestly suits Volewhisper well.

i rly liked this guy in Exile from Shadowclan. him and Nightstar's relationship was very cute. i wonder what happened to him. Blackstar still assumes he's dead at his warrior ceremony, so presumably Vole left Shadowclan or died before Blackstart had rejoined? i like to think the former honestly.

unrelated, i kinda like the hc that Featherstorm also had an affair, and that Vole and Dawn aren't Blizzardwing's (with Mosspaw being Blizzard's). i just like ridiculous relationship drama in wc, and there was no shortage of that in this era of shadowclan lmaoo

i know your design for him is older (from before he even got a canon warrior name) & i get if you dont want to do it since he's so inconsequential! but could you maybe possibly consider making a trans pride volewhisper icon, if the idea appeals to you at all ? he's one of my favorite minor characters is all (and im trans)

People don't talk about Volewhisper enough.. presumed dead cat brought back from the dead in a random ass novel and never talked about in canon ever again.

Also I thought Volewhisper was more injured then the leg so i tried to give him pale skin opening through his fur.. and then realized that it was just his leg so,, these are just markings i guess LMFAO
