i find all the paralells between rivulet and hunter, moon and pebbles, and the ocean and the void sea to be very interesting. plus an excuse to draw hunter ! version without the iterators and cats below

Void worms are purposed organisms designed to help the ascending process. Leviathans are a prototype version of them. In general I get the vibe that the karma and ascension thing is more-or-less entirely a construct devised by the Ancients, and that this way of thinking essentially doomed themselves.

Also, this is,, rain world au/oc content? in a way? the void worm is canon and this is pretty close to the canon interaction saint has with it, but i made the lore behind this up, and the void worm is basically an OC in this case
