So while I was reading I've spotted something in the magazine Marvin was reading on the Tram before the kid burnt it. The magazine marvin was reading was a magazine on "how to magic" with a Jackie's reference on the front.

And in this magazine it showed us this, which I noticed to be quite familiar

I love how they made Marvin’s mask the way he accesses erased memories. It gave a legitimate reason for Marvin to wear his mask all the time. Not that I would’ve minded otherwise, but still very intriguing!

Major altrverse spoilers, void silver specifically. I just need to write down a theory I have

Ok so I'm thinking about the masks all of the known magic circle members wear and I have a theory as to why some of them are different than others.

So, from what we've been shown, there are 3 different types of masks.

The dinky little superhero mask (a single woman in the background of the various investigation scenes)

The animal half-face masks (Marvin and Sunday)

And the Full animal face masks (The Twins)

I think the different masks correspond to their rank in the magic circle. Cause obviously The Twins are important (and kind of full of themselves), so I'm just assuming the more of their face that's covered, the more important they are.

But I wanna know why doesn't that one background woman have an animal mask. And what determines what kind of animal your mask is. Maybe there's no correlation between the masks and their rank, maybe it's just Whatever They Want. Idk.

I wanna know why Sunday's mask is yellow and a bear. Why are they Golden Freddy

I’m probably gonna get burned alive for this, so i’m gonna say I am in no way dissing people who like the voidsilver comic. It’s fantastic that you like it and I wish I did, but I bought the digital version and was horribly disappointed. The plot is so simple it’s laughable, the characters are rarely given names or even acknowledged more than once (if that), and 2 characters in the book look literally exactly the same.

These are 2 different characters (the cop is never named)

The whole story can be summed up as:

Marvin saves a family from a robber, Sunday tells Marvin to come check out a dead body, Marvin looks at the logo on the body’s jacket, body is examined by the twins, Marvin goes home and looks at the memories he recorded on his mask. The end.

Jackie’s story is even simpler. Scientist makes an explosion that gives Jackie powers. Jackie is delivering food, Jackie sees a robot invasion, kills the robots, finds out they’re a project and not an invasion, story ends. I’m extremely disappointed, especially because I’ve loved these characters since I was a kid. The IRIS interactive game was also extremely upsetting, because trying to get 30 million people to co-ordinate a bunch of puzzles is a Sisyphean task. I liked the story, but I feel like the puzzles could have been done a lot better.

If i’m getting things wrong or being overly critical, please please please correct me!! I want to like this!

I really enjoyed drawing Marvin! I put my own spin on his hair because I have a theory that his hair will turn greener the more we get into the comics! So, this is like what I think Marvin may look like in the official #1 or #2! I have a couple theories though, so I may draw his hair differently in the future

I loved the cover that was drawn by Suzi Blake and kind of based this drawing on it! I’ll definitely be doing a lot more art of Marvin and I’ll probably draw Jackie sometime soon. Spoilers will be tagged on all of those like it is on here!
