Deer Collision Go Fund me

So I mentioned how I would be doing this and that I would be posting a gofundme because I hit a deer

Attempting to just cover the deductible costs of the insurance so that I can eventually move to a cheaper apartment. This comes at a terrible time because we're trying to move the first week of January so we're trying to save up money and I'm just at my limit trying to see if anything will work.

I cannot fathom what was going on in Penelope's mind when she received the amulet. Obtaining the token alone expresses the unspoken significance about YRZ, let alone giving such a token away. I'm pretty sure it cements it to Penelope that YRZ is the only man she can trust in a place where her enemies invaded her home and covets everything she's trying to protect. (YRZ would probably take it to his grave of how and who he obtained this amulet from.)

oh yrz doesn't give it to penelope. he gives it to telemachus!

yrz is a practical person at heart. who is at most risk in this situation? the male heir of the king of ithica. Penelope herself is safe from pretty much everything while she's doing her untouchable routine. marriage to her is the only way to legitimately become king of ithica at this point. the suitors aren't going to physically hurt her.

so yrz gives telemachus the amulet on his birthday as an offhanded thing. he thinks of it as thoughtful trinket from a respected elder. Penelope has no idea until Telemachus shows it off to her later, and she recognizes the power and rarity of the amulet. she is stunned and grateful, because aphrodite's protection is nothing to sneeze at.

'why?' penelope asks yrz later while the two of them are working late into the night on kingdom taxation matters. 'why give it away?'

'because i swore to serve your majesty to the best of my ability,' yrz says, not really paying attention. 'your majesty worries, as any mother does. protecting his highness is the best way to make sure your majesty is happy.'

The solar flare meant Mechi was doing boring stuff like mining, so every time the cooldown for The Monolith or Ms Clarabelle (our sightstealer) was up, he sprinted to do that instead. I don't think he likes manual labour lmao

Some wild people came onto the map, which Mechi was not thrilled about because one of them was a taukai xenotype (cancer people, I think), and he thought they were hella ugly. A bit rude, but Mechi hates everybody anyway, so it's understandable.

The grass is quite literally greener on this side of the fence, boomalope (the boomalope is now named Butter, and he is a very good boomalope)

More silver is always nice, and foggy rain isn't so bad.

We did not offer help to either of The Accurates.
