hey! my friends helped me record all these songs right before the first lockdown over four years ago and i'm gonna put out some more soon under my own solo work :) finally in a place where my art-school balance is manageable-ish again

here's a drive folder with downloadable mp3 and (better quality) wav versions. it also has a sort of liner notes type document, since i'm not releasing in physical formats but i obviously understand the value in well-documented art thingies. but specifically this EP is for the girls, the gays, and all the fellow elder gen z @foofighters stans i used to spend all my time with on here edit for clarity: i wrote all the lyrics and songs, but i only played bass and handled the harmony stacks. the new stuff i'm working on is as a lead singer and it's gonna be weird as shit :-)

there are also a few other song stems from the rockband games here - i guess those are compressed/mixed pretty differently and are def not studio stems BUT theyre still amazing for hearing some instrumentals/vocals only !!!!

i just want sony to know that i will personally be handling everyone who participated in the downfall of michael’s last album. this song… it could have been one of the songs that people think of when they hear 00’s r&b. butterflies should b up there with love by keyshia cole and comin’ from where i’m from by anthony hamilton. this song is literally perfection.. michael’s harmonies on the chorus? he was so fucking sick… and the runs at the end?? he’s fucking sick y’all and sony is SICK for sabotaging this album.

starts a bit slow in its buildup because it's an album opener but this thing changes genre like. twice. sampling and instrument selection is solid as hell as it is bizarre
