i dont really understand how to use kire/powerscale style voicebanks in utau but the more i use genbu the more i feel a little sad that synthv doesnt do standard banks anymore because i really think sv's tension parameter curves do wonderful things with this type of voicebank. a lot of power built in that you can then pull back carefully, like how i like my watercolour paint pigments to have really vibrant saturation right out of the tube so i can pull it back manually when i need to. and to say nothing of the fun bonus soft/falsetto phoneme groups even though i always forget to use them

I think it's interesting seeing the evolution of Miku songs about her as a program.

In 2007 they were usually like "Let me sing for you! I want to sing! You're being so annoying let me sing!" Silly and playful, usually emphasizing the relationship with Miku and a specific producer. (I'll Miku-Miku You, Packaged, Voc@loid in Love, etc)

Meanwhile these days they're "I'm not human, I'm a vessel for your feelings creating to sing, I only exist to sing no matter how hard or empty it feels." A bit colder and cynical, pushing that she's not human, more about the relationship with Miku and humanity as a whole (Anonymous M, Miku by Anamanaguchi, even Magical Cure Love Shot to an extent)

The evolution of Vocaloid music in general is fascinating, but this in particular is really interesting to me.

What would you say makes your Tei an anti villain?

Even with the whole Crypton Media drama removed from her, Tei is still depicted as a yandere, someone who is generally sweet yet can be violent and obsessed (plus the whole "Declare War on All Voc@loid" kinda got stuck with her at this point, making her look like the villain to loids or whatnot)

Her obsession with love... her hatred towards authority... I'd say she's craving love and respect from others, wants to be something worthy and important to someone, anyone really. So she can turn violent if it meant that she'll be loved or at least feared and respected.

But at the same time her character info says she "Dislikes murder"? Then what's up with all your bloody art sweetie?? That thing gave me a headache when I was young lolol

So we could say Tei is very well aware that her actions are bad, feels disgusted by her own violent outbursts, but continues to act that way anyway cuz she believes she won't find any love otherwise or so
