i’ve been saying this since i very first saw you share you’re photography probably a couple years ago now i spend a lot of time around photographers and you’re easily the best i’ve seen the way you capture life and not just that but the feeling idk you’re just amazing and seeing the way you’ve grown just from what you share is insane

jaw dropped. ok this is so kind that im gonna go on a whole rant about how i started photography etc. so thank you! i am getting to a point in my life where i am truly becoming proud of my work because i started when i was literally 15 and i have really stuck with it. it's the thing i've been doing the longest in terms of consistency...

and i think you can definitely see the influence they've had on my work? HOWEVER lately especially my photos have become very stylized and i think there's personality!!!! i think im fucking good at it and that is FINE!

Finally watched Finding Vivien Maier - really interesting and she had some amazing photos. Highly recommend it if you like photography.

I’m breathing little sigh of relief as I’ve actually managed to make it to the summer break from work – phew! Life has been pretty manic lately so I could do with a bit of space to regroup – and catch up with the reading. I’ve failed, of course, to make it through any kind of challenge floating around in the book blogsphere, but I don’t mind really – I tend to plough my own furrow when it comes…
