Pero el joven, además, es un inadaptado, un solitario, incapaz de conectar con sus pares. Cuando una chica le invita al baile de graduación, él, en un principio, se niega a acompañarla, aunque luego accede tras la insistencia de Ephram. Lamentablemente, la experiencia es negativa, pero sirve para que su tutor comience a preguntarse, por una teoría de Reid (Justin Baldoni), estudiante de medicina y un conocido de Amy, si el muchacho no sería gay. Maestro y alumno se conceden una necesaria conversación, en la que Kyle confirma que siente temor de reconocerse como gay porque teme ser odiado; Ephram le consuela animándolo a ser veraz consigo mismo porque, una vez que lo sea, será más feliz.

Su historia en la serie culmina, precísamente, con la aceptación de su sexualidad, su promoción en Julliard y su salida del armario con su madre, quien se lo toma a bien y le dice que ya intuía este aspecto de su vida desde hacía mucho.

‘Everwood’ cast had an emotional reunion

(CNN)There were tears, laughter and quips on Wednesday as the cast of mid-2000s drama "Everwood" reunited to promote the show's continued life on the CW's streaming service, CW Seed.

The WB became the CW in 2006 after it merged with UPN.

"Everwood" was a casualty of the new network's formation, and the cast laughed when it was pointed out that it was the CW, presenting its new and existing programs as part of the Television Critics Association press tour, that brought them all back together.

After all these years, it still feels like yesterday that my 15 year old self was embarking on a journey that would change the course of my life forever. It was absolutely incredible to reunite with these guys today Everwood has truly stood the test of time. You can finally stream it on @cwseed

"We're all just are because we want an answer, I think," Emily VanCamp joked.

The panel also included executive producer Greg Berlanti and Rina Mimoun, and actors Justin Baldoni ("Reid Bardem"), John Beasley ("Irv Harper"), Stephanie Niznik ("Nina Feeney"), Vivien Cardone ("Delia Brown"), Treat Williams ("Dr. Andy Brown"), Gregory Smith ("Ephram Brown"), Tom Amandes ("Dr. Harold Abbot"), and Debra Mooney ("Edna Harper").

Missing was Chris Pratt, who finished filming "Jurassic World," last month.

When asked for stories about working with the then future blockbuster star, Williams joked, "How much time you got?"

"I told him that he was going to be a star," Beasley added. "He had all the qualities -- great personality, he was a good-looking white boy. I had no idea he was going to be 'Chris Pratt.' But he's just a great guy and deserves everything he gets."

Cardone, who was only nine years old when the series started, was significantly younger than her castmates at the time. Now 24, the actress said, however, that she remembered a lot about the experience, especially the bond she shared with on-screen dad Williams.

"I'll never forget when I first went [to film in Utah] -- it was tough because my father had to stay in New York because he had his business there and I couldn't see him a lot, and it was very, very difficult," she said, her voice breaking. "And Treat came up to me and he said, 'Listen, I know that it's been hard; your dad is away and I'll make a deal with you. My family is not with me either so if you promise to be my temporary daughter, I'll be your temporary father.' And that bond has stayed ever since."

Cardone and Williams both teared up at the recollection and shared a hug on stage.

While Berlanti said "no one's asked" for a reunion or revival, he made clear that the close-knit cast would "all love to work together again."

"Everwood" is streaming now on CW Seed.

TV actress Stephanie Niznik has died, Variety reported on Friday. She was 52.

The Bangor, Maine native is perhaps best known for her role as Nina Feeney in Everwood, the drama that ran for four seasons from 2002 to 2006 on The WB.

No cause of death has been given at this time. Niznik’s agent did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

She also appeared on popular TV shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Life is Wild, CSI: Miami, NCIS, Lost and The Twenty. She also played Perim in the 1998 movie Star Trek: Insurrection.

In 2017, Niznik was among the Everwood stars that reunited at the Television Critics Association in honor of the show’s 15th anniversary.

She appeared onstage along with her costars, including Treat Williams, Gregory Smith, Emily VanCamp, Tom Amandes, Debra Mooney, Vivien Cardone, John Beasley and Justin Baldoni, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Series creator Greg Berlanti and executive producer Rina Mimoun were also at the reunion, though Chris Pratt and Sarah Drew did not make the event.

Niznik played Nina on the beloved family drama, the Browns’ brash neighbor, who at times throughout the series was romantically involved with Andy Brown (Williams).

The actress was a graduate of Duke University, according to Variety, and studied Genetics in addition to Theater and Russian. She attended Cal Arts for a master’s degree before starting to land acting roles in Hollywood.

She is survived by her mother, stepfather, brother, extended family and her two dogs, Nucleus and Jake, Variety reported.

Young American actress Vivien Corcompleted was born on April 14, 1993, in Port Jefferson, Long Island, N.Y.  In 1947, John Nash (Crowe) arrives at Princeton University. He is co-recipient, with Martin Hansen (Lucas), of the prestigious Carnegie Scholarship for mathematics. At a reception, he meets a group of other promising math and science graduate students, Richard Sol (Goldberg), Ainsley (Jason Gray-Stanford), and Bender (Rapp). He also meets his roommate Charles Herman (Bettany), a literature student, and an unlikely friendship begins. Nash comes under increasing pressure to publish, but he refuses until he finds a truly original idea. His inspiration comes when he and his fellow graduate students discuss how to approach a group of women at a bar. Hansen quotes Adam Smith and advocates "every man for himself", but Nash argues that a cooperative approach would lead to better chances of success. This leads to a new concept of governing dynamics which Nash develops and publishes. On the strength of this he is offered an appointment at MIT where Sol and Bender join him. Some years later, Nash is invited to the Pentagon to crack encrypted enemy telecommunication. Nash is able to decipher the code mentally, to the astonishment of other codebreakers. He considers his regular duties at MIT uninteresting and beneath his talents, so he is pleased to be given a new assignment by mysterious supervisor, William Parcher (Harris) of the United States Department of Defense, to look for patterns in magazines and newspapers in order to thwart a Soviet plot. Nash becomes increasingly obsessive about searching for these hidden patterns and believes he is followed when he delivers his results to a secret mailbox. Meanwhile a student, Alicia Larde (Connelly), asks him to dinner, and the two fall in love. On a return visit to Princeton, Nash runs into Charles and meets Charles' young niece Marcee (Vivien Cardone), whom he adores. With Charles' encouragement he proposes to Alicia and they marry. Nash begins to fear for his life after witnessing a shootout between Parcher and Soviet agents, but Parcher blackmails him into staying on his assignment. While delivering a guest lecture at Harvard University, Nash attempts to flee from what appear to be foreign agents, led by Dr. Rosen (Plummer). After punching Rosen in an attempt to flee, Nash is forcibly sedated and sent to a psychiatric facility. He believes the facility is run by the Soviets. Dr. Rosen tells Alicia that Nash has schizophrenia and that Charles, Marcee and Parcher exist only in his imagination. Alicia investigates and finally confronts Nash with the unopened documents he had delivered to the secret mailbox. Nash is given a course of insulin shock therapy and eventually released. Frustrated with the side-effects of the antipsychotic medication he is taking, he secretly stops taking it. This causes a relapse and he meets Parcher again. After an incident where Nash endangers his infant son and accidentally knocks Alicia and the baby to the ground (thinking he's stopping Parcher from killing her), she flees the house in fear with their child. Nash steps in front of her car to prevent her from leaving. He tells Alicia, "She never gets old", referring to Marcee, who although years have passed since their first encounter, has remained exactly the same age and is still a little girl. With this, he finally accepts that they are part of his hallucinations. Against Dr. Rosen's advice, Nash decides not to restart his medication, believing that he can deal with his symptoms in another way. Alicia decides to stay and support him in this. Nash approaches his old friend and rival, Martin Hansen, now head of the Princeton mathematics department, who grants him permission to work out of the library and audit classes. Years pass and as Nash grows older, he learns to ignore his hallucinations and earns the privilege of teaching again. In 1994, Nash is honored by his fellow professors for his achievement in mathematics, and goes on to win the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics for his revolutionary work on game theory. The movie ends
