NPC TIPS

Seedos

Will give you 3-4 seeds if you spam him to talk

If you smack him until his mask breaks you get around 5-6 seeds however seedos will come by when his mask is fixed and fill your garden with weeds that can poison your piñata.

Leafos

If you keep her trapped in your garden too long she will break through your fences (though usually she only breaks one and if you're quick enough you can rebuild it) [longest time trapped: 9 in game days]

She will take away your shovel and/or watering can if you smack/spray her too many times (She will give it back eventually)

Willy builder

There is sometimes a glitch where Willy will not go to the building he's been hired to build, simply click on him again and direct him to the unfinished building.

If you smack him enough times with your shovel Willy will also not go to the unfinished building, follow the advice above if that happens.

Petunia (Paper Pets)

You can unlock secret accessories/clothes for your piñata at paper pets by going into the main menu, clicking the 'New Garden' button and typing in codes for as the garden name (Note: this will not actually create a garden, you will instead get a pop-up telling you you've put in a code and to go to Paper Pets to see)

How I feel about this character

To be honest, I really don't think too deeply about Arfur. Mostly my feelings on him are that he's a funny side character and OH GOD WHAT IS UP WITH HIS EYES WHY ARE THEY LIKE THAT-- like at least Dastardos and the ruffians have explanations for their weird glowing eyes but wtf is up with that??? if they were just white i'd be like "oh white because its meant to be milk thats fine, but they glow??? wild stuff

I have an OC wife for him named Befany who's the dairy farmer supplying all the milk, and they have a son called Timofy who's a rowdy little scamp with a bucket mask

My non-romantic OTP for this character

UUUUUHHH i guess?? Willy Builder??? Willy probably is one of the most regular customers at the Inn and would be buds with Arfur

My unpopular opinion about this character

Honestly the interesting thing to me about most of the NPCs in Viva Pinata is that most of them are assholes to some degree. They're all weird and flawed!! I've seen portrayals of Arfur as really kind and caring in the past (which is absolutely fine don't get me wrong) but to me when i actually listen to his lines he comes across as condescending and not really that sincere, like this is a business man acting overly friendly and being kinda overbearing, y'know??

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I want confirmation on whether or not the milk he serves in the Inn is alchoholic. Does he sell anything besides just cookies and milk and contracts with helpers??? does he have a dairy free alternative or is anyone lactose intolerant in the village just fucked????
