Forever a nature bird woman at heart. I resonate so much with this piece, I see myself living in a jungle or rain forest as my hair begins to grey one day. With feathers being my main medium as a native artist and at the current rotation of our Sun, I realize it's sacredness and secret gifts that are given when working with such Medicines. Feathers shield and transmute energies that not only are not efficiently supportive of the harmonious energies that are at hand but again they connect us deeply to the unseen worlds modern day humans have slowly tuned out over the years::: the animal kingdom which speaks louder everyday and with all this change taking place on Earth now we must truly listen, to begin SEE & HEAR their messages, honoring their lives as equal to our wrinkles of Earth Time Bodies. It led to the discovery of an aspiration: sharing the power of the visual world through photography by capturing the moments that remind us of our inward, imperishable, divine nature.

#winter #flower #lovingwhatis #visualawakening The original nature of this photo is a pink petalled flower fluttering against a brilliant blue sky, dancing among the green. Yet, this is still beautiful. Sometimes we believe that there is a divide between natural and unnatural, normal and abnormal... right and wrong; these ideas feed the notion that natural is pure, or that abnormal is ugly, and so on. Augmentation, or change, creates beauty. Beauty, it's been said, is in the eye of the beholder. We each exist in our own world. The flower is beautiful both as it is fluttering it's pink petals in the soft afternoon breeze, and as the captured, edited and 'conformed' picture we have here. Everything is beautiful when we meet it with kindness.
