[Be Somewhere Plays]
[It starts showcasing a computer lab in "Real Life", at night. It shows the computers being connected via LAN and wires]
[Then, it shows the wires turning into an actual map, of the "InnerSpace" of the computers and the "Intranet" of the computer lab. And the computers are also connecting to the "Internet".]
[And then it shows more to the Internet, it shows more about it, being more like an actual city, roads, and the programs are actually sentient]
[And it finally shows a close-up of Feroma. She's "offline", with her eyes closed. But then she shows her going "online", with her eyes opening with a determined eye expression, while not showing expression on her mouth. And the camera gets a bit farer of her, and it shows the rest of the Virus Deleters]
________
Yeah. I got inspired by the MM Megamix fan animation...
I got daydreamy about my project "Virus Deleter". I'm currently deciding to make it into a Webcomic.
While this decision is was not new, for a moment I thought on making Virus Deleter into a 3D Animation (inspired by a ruby series. If you know you know) but I couldn't make it since my current computer would explode.
So yeah, I'll be planning more about the comic aspect more. But I need to practice more on how to do it. I'm not that experienced on making comics, apart of some cases.
I really want to make "Virus Deleter". I want to tell the story of a antivirus battling virus and protecting the virtual world.

I was writing the introduction story of my idea Virus Deleter, and then I remembered the CrowdStrike incident...
I'll implement the plot of a "Antivirus goes rogue due to a bad update and goes batshit crazy and the real world is fucked" on the future.
I can picture the rest of the veteran Virus Deleters would be like "Oh fuck. THIS is what [McAfee-representative character] warned us about with Y2K..."
(I'm still dumbfounded that the CrowdStrike incident ever happened. The day where technology went blue... Also it was so MMBN-esque which isn't helping me. Damn... The real world is becoming more and more like Mega Man Battle Network...)

Media Preservation Monday
Yeah, yeah, as of this original post it's actually only Wednesday but hey, take this as a sign to take some initiative, and keep to it each Monday at minimum if you're actively writing!
What's Media Preservation Monday, you may ask?
MPM is your reminder to back up your writing at least three ways at least once a week or whenever you make major changes to your document(s).
Here's some incredibly easy ways to back up your writing:
One your Master Document(s), put a date on the file name, and every day you make changes, "Save As" the Document and change the date. Do this every time or day you make major changes.
Example: You start writing your Novella November Story on November 1st.
You name your master document "Novnov Project 11-01-2024"
The next day, you write some more, and at the end of your writing session, you go to save your document, and instead of simply hitting "Save" you choose "Save As" and save the new copy of the Document as "Novnov Project 11-02-2024".
You now have two copies of your project, and if you keep this up throughout the whole month, you will have a live snapshot of your writing progress.
Each day or after each major writing session, open up the folder containing your document, and back it up. The Easiest and simplest way to do this is to simply email it to yourself, but you can also create multiple backups by:
Save a copy of your dated Master Document(s) to different locations on your Hard-drive, to an external hard-drive, to a thumbdrive, etc.
If you're writing offline on a writing program like Libreoffice, upload a copy of your Master Document(s) to your preffered Cloud-based Writing Program of your choice.
Vice Versa: if you write on a Cloud-based writing program, download it to various offline-based locations.
Download the base document as well as download it as various ebook formats and send them to your ebook library on your phone or kindle or nook or reading app.
Make a personal discord server and upload the document/epub form of your Master Document(s) there [this is also a good way of making a kind of personal journal / diary etc]
Whatever you do, do not be complacent and assume nothing can happen to your writing. Back it up. Preserve it.
Don't have all of your hard work go down the drain because of one tiny unforeseen accident.
When it comes time to clean up your hardrive, always assume you don't have it backed up. Before deleting anything always take the time to copy it over to another physical drive or a cloud drive.

Mlp Infection AU: Rainbow Bite, Masterpost part 1
Cartoon gore under the cut Part 2 - Part 3
TW: dead animal bodies, mushrooms growing out of bodies, depictions of blood and underweight ponies
I’ll add all the image text in alt text at a future date
Text in images now in alt text
Sorry about the differences in quality. Most of these I had a while ago, and accidentally deleted so they’re a little grainy.
Made these when mlp infection AUs were more popular. I’m once again feeling late to the party lol
Some of the text might not make the most sense. I originally made most of these in the dead of night and didn't proof read them. And now I can't change it cause the original files are gone, oops

For my au, I only have ideas for the infection itself, but maybe at a future date I’ll actually come up with a story to with it.
Also there’s more infection mutations that’s why it says part 1
Feel free to ask if you have any questions :)

I have some fan art of my other favorite monster taming franchise, Digimon. This cute little fella became one of my favorites the first time I saw them in the Digimon the movie. Whenever I get the chance in a Digimon game I try to snag them on my team, that and Antylamon the 20ft eldritch rabbit.

Virus Deleter Related Idea Drawings
Tumblr media
This is made during my, art block moment? Art frustration moment, nonetheless. I tried to draw something different. I think I made a design for a program similar to Word. A word processor.
Tumblr media
And this little fellas are Messengers. These fellas are dedicated to send data, E-mails and files from user to user.
These fellas are really fun to do, since they're simple to draw and cute.
Hope you like it!

The Ryoko Kui interview's reception is such a disaster over a pretty normal (yet still flawed) interview between a non-Japanese fan and Japanese artistic. This is discourse for discourse's sake, and it's no surprise that almost every Twitter user I've looked at who's using this interview to parade Kui around as a goated mangaka standing strong against Western ideology is anti-trans.
Like, I do think the interview was kinda wonky with its focus on fandom culture, which Kui clearly didn't have much interest in. But sometimes that happens. Sometimes interactions between two people, especially a fan and a creator, two people who view and interact with a piece of media in completely opposite perspectives, don't click. Does this really need to get blown up into a "West vs. East culture war" issue.
Anyways, Kui saying "I don't consider my audience's interpretations when writing. I leave it to their imaginations, but I have my own read on things too" is the healthiest, most normal thing an artist/writer who wants a non-parasocial audience could say. Artists and writers use this line all the time. If Kui didn't enjoy autistic Laius or Farcille headcanons, she would have probably voiced/signalled her discomfort, like she did on the topic of Senshi fanservice. Overall, Kui handled the interview really well. Props to her to sticking to her guns and keeping a healthy disconnect from the fandom. While I think the interviewer could've/should've been more tactful and restrained, the flaws in their questions is not a symptom of the woke mind virus trying to wriggle its way into the pure Japanese psyche. It's the sign of an over-eager fan who sees a piece of fiction differently than its creator.

If Kirby had an infection/zombie au, I don't think the main problem would be the infection.
It'd be keeping the Halberd out of the ocean.
