If there's one thing about Taehoon that you truly despise and adore at the same time, it would be his randomness, kissing you randomly when you had just applied lipbalms.

It was just a fine afternoon in his house, with you successfully dragging Taehoon to do his homework. After all the nags and things, he managed to finish it with your help. You turned the TV on later, just before your upper lip brushed your lower ones. Think its been a long time ever since you applied lipbalms.

You pulled out a cherry-flavoured lipbalms from your backpack, applying it softly. With few strokes, you closes the cap and put them back in your backpack. It reaches Taehoon's attention, who was just trying to find snacks in the fridge. After finding some snacks, he sits down, huffing loudly.

You would never expect the words rolling out of his mouth. "Can I try 'yer lipbalm?"

"Huh?" You hum confusedly. The Seong Taehoon that uses nothing and licks his own lips because he's too lazy to use lipbalms (even after you gifted him one), is asking to use your lipbalm? Think the world is in a sorta apocalypse.

"Yer got a new one.. right? So.. y'know, wanna try how it tastes," he replied casually.

You muttered a small 'Oh' before pulling out the lipbalm from your backpack and handling it to him. Until he denies.

"No, idiot. Wanna taste it like this," Taehoon touches your chin softly but firmly, tilting you in a position that creates an easier access for his lips (and so your noses didn't bump). He slowly nibbles on the lower lip as you relaxes into the kiss, letting him do whatever he wants.

With closed eyes, you savour the feels of his mouth slowly devouring yours. His tongue dancing, giving yours a lingering taste of a peppermint candy he ate on your way home. Slowly, your hands finds its way on the light brown strands of his hair, tugging and pulling the hairs on the nape of his neck. Also, simultaneously pulling him closer.

Both of you were so deep in the moment, you did not realize the sounds of the locks and doorknob being pulled. Hansoo, just stand awkwardly when he just entered home. He clears his throat, signaling both of you.

You pulled out of the kiss quickly, being the one of you who realize Hansoo's presence. Taehoon, on the other hand, did not realize. It was only when he realizes you're blushing, and trying to find what or who made you did that (aside from him). And there, Hansoo is, in the doorway, trying to check the perfectly fine shoe rack.

"Ugh, just go away, dad." Taehoon grunts as his dad enters his bedroom, chuckling softly while muttering a word or two.

With the click of the door that was closed, you sighed. The day was going late, and you're.. pretty embarassed after being caught kissing with Taehoon. Damn. The thoughts itself makes you wanna dissapear from the existence.

You stood up from the couch and fixes your skirt, taking your bag. "I'm gonna head home. It's gonna be late,"

Taehoon also stands. "'M gonna walk you home, 'kay?"

"But it's late-"

"Because it's late. Can't let ya walk around this late alone, huh,"

He intertwines his hands with you as he guides you out, softly (or not) yelling at his dad that he's gonna walk you home for a few minutes.

Arrived at your home, he makes sure you're already inside the house and had locked the door before he left. And then, on his way home, he sent a simple text,

It doesn't matter if you're his actual child or not, he will get over protective of you one way or another so there's just no denying or escape from him. You could meet him by being a friend of Taehun's as surprising as that is or you could take Taekwando lessons from him. Frankly he's surprised that you've managed to befriend his hot tempered son but he's still glad his son has someone to rely on

You'd drop by his house most of the time and Hansu looked forward to your visits, you were such a sweet little thing, always checking up on him and asking him about his day and you even manage to get his son on line. Taehun might be a platonic yandere for you as well in this scenario and honestly, I wish you luck because these two when they work together as a duo, consider them to be an unstoppable father son duo. Hansu will feel his over protective instincts kick in instantly when you tell him you feel like learning Taekwando from him because of bullies in your school. He might look calm and collected on the outside but inside, he's a seething and raging volcano. How dare a bunch of random brats pick on you? He gets annoyed at teenagers these days who have nothing better to do than make others feel insecure about themselves and you can bet your allowance he and Taehun will take care of those punks for you. And by taking care of them, I mean kicking them to another dimension altogether till they forget their name by using their famous 1440 kick

He will never let you go anywhere by yourself, he has free time on his hands so he's always willing to drop you wherever you need to go. If you're meeting with someone else, he'll have pages and pages of their biodata with him to simply ensure you're not meeting with someone suspicious that can possibly threaten your life and safety. What? He's simply making sure you're safe and no, he's not following you around or stalking you like how Taehun puts it. Actually scratch that, he totally is but in his defense, he does get quite paranoid about your safety. He's already dealt with Taehun running away from home plenty of times, he can't let the same happen to you. Besides, he's made far too many enemies in his lifetime, he'll be DAMNED if he lets anything happen to you

He feels reluctant to let you leave his house, he just wants to keep you safe. Pretty soon, his over compulsive need to safeguard you and protect you will overcome him and before you know it, you'll now be living with him and his son. He knows it's a big change for you and it'll take some time for you to adjust but don't worry, he's willing to do whatever you want and will give you whatever you ask for. Except for your freedom of course. He treats you like a fragile porcelain doll that'll break at any given moment and sometimes that does a bit frustrating. He knows how trapped and uneasy you feel about the situation but he really can't help it, he doesn't like the way your parents are supposedly taking care of you. What parent doesn't even realize their child returning home late at night? If he was actually your parent he'd have a damn heart attack and possibly prevent you from going wherever you wanted to in the first place anyway

He won't keep you locked up forever though, he knows you need some time outside so if there's anywhere you want to go, Taehun will be ready to accompany you and he doesn't need any convincing to keep an eye on his new sibling. Hansu isn't borderline insane to keep you locked up forever. However he'll have to put his foot down when you tell him you feel like fighting other people, you can expect a firm no from him. It doesn't matter what form of martial arts you've learnt or how many awards and trophies you've won for MMA boxing or wrestling, a no means a no. That's it. He does have a good reason to be worried for you though, his son is always busy getting into fights, he does NOT need to worry about you injuring and hurting yourself. As much as Taehun loves Taekwando, he might teach you a few basic moves but that's it. He doesn't want you getting involved in fights either and putting yourself at risk

They might be over protective of you and they'll do whatever it takes to ensure no harm befalls upon you. I can't really say the same for your enemies or rivals though. Boy, they're going to rue the day they've met you and avoid you like the damn Corona after Taehun and Hansu are done dealing with him by kicking them to oblivion. They will show zero mercy on anyone who dares to even THINK to lay a single finger on your head. Yakuza boss, drug addict, teenager they don't give a damn

Unfortunately for you, you won't even be allowed to be a part of the Hobin Yoo company either since they're always getting into some kind of dangerous mess. If you're into reading books Hansu will buy you all the books you want. If you love writing, he'll love reading your works and encourage you with your writing. If you love to sing, he'll be more than happy to listen to you sing and will of course, kick Taehun on the head when he tells you that you sing like a screening cat, jokingly of course. If you're into cooking, you can share your recipes with Hansu but he won't allow you to come near the fire or touch the knives and the stove so, you're out of luck there. Be glad he didn't end up baby proofing the house instead

You aren't allowed to talk to guys either so you can say sayonara to your love life. As long as he's alive he won't allow to even TALK to another guy other than Taehun, the idea of you dating someone else is a pretty far fetched idea altogether. He's just worried someone will try to steal you away which is something he clearly doesn't want happening. Doesn't matter if it's a girl either, no dating for you. He'll just give the person you're interested in a death glare till it literally burns a hole through their soul and if they're smart enough, they'll get the hint and severe ties with you. You'll be upset but don't worry, your dad is there to comfort you and provide you with whatever support you need. You can tell him anything you want, except everytime you tell him about how someone wronged you, they'll be dealt with

All in all, Hansu really cares for you as his own. He adores you and just wants to see you happy, like any other parent. Is it so wrong to protect your loved ones from the harshness and reality of the world?

Sunny skies, chirping birds, the fresh air, the indistinct chattering of the students fill the hallways - You happily skid your way past classrooms, feeling like everything is aligning perfectly.

That is until, Taehoon steps in front of you with a scowl. You might be wondering what’s exactly got him so riled up. Though you know he's unlikely to spill if you ask, it doesn't hurt to try, especially when it's you.

”What’s gotten you in such a pissy mood?” You inquire, noting the tension in his expression on his oh-so-handsome face.

Gosh, how long you could stare at his kissable lips, ruffle with his hair and—

”I’m not in a pissy mood.” He retorts, followed by a faint “hmph”.

Yup. He’s definitely pissed.

Without warning, he grabs your arm and drags you to the library.

”Ugh! What’s with you today?”

You try to shove him away, but Taehoon is immovable as ever.

”Nothing.”

It’s definitely not nothing, particularly when he's unusually clingy, like a child seeking protection from his mother. Sure, he’s probably got mommy issues, but it isn’t this bad to the point he’s looking for a substitute.

Anyway, you aren’t a mind reader. So you’re not gonna stop being an inquisitive bitch until you get an answer. But before you can even voice your thoughts, Taehoon starts muttering.

”Remember the guy you helped when some twerps were bothering him?” He asks, avoiding your gaze.

You take a moment to recall the incident he's referring to, realizing soon enough who he means.

”Uh-huh. That guy from class E, I think? What about him?”

A heavy silence fills the air. Taehoon struggles to find the right words to express what's bothering him. You raise a brow, awaiting an explanation while he still struggles to speak. For about 15 seconds, he keeps his grip on your arm, though it gradually loosens when he finally speaks up again.

”He wants to ask you out.”

He finally mutters, seeming to realize that his own feelings aren't really relevant to the situation.

You take a moment to absorb his words before playfully smacking him on the cheek, causing him to flinch at your unexpected action.

Are you… teasing him?

"Is that why you looked so pissed today?” You ask with a chuckle.

“Are you jeal-”

”No.”

He bluntly replies, but his flushed face says so otherwise.

”Ugh, then why are you so troubled with the fact that he wants to ask me out?”

”I’m just, well…”

It's not like Taehoon has any right to be angry. After all, he spends most of his time with you, whether it's training in the dojang, playing Tekken at the arcade, or even the occasional sleepovers you both have. There's hardly a moment when you're apart, which might just stem from his internalized fear of being separated from you.

He's worried.

So worried, in fact, that the thought of having to let go of you terrifies him, consuming his thoughts entirely, that it’s probably inevitable that detatching himself from you is his only option.

”Forget it, just let me know when you’re going.” He finally concedes, his tone resigned.

Knowing Taehoon, it's either A.) he'll "casually" follow you during your date to "ensure your safety," or B.) the date won't happen at all. He won't fucking allow it. He won’t let it. No, not ever.

He releases your arm with a weary sigh, about to turn and leave, when you burst into laughter uncontrollably.

”Pfffft!\~ You’re so pathetic sometimes, y’know? How hard is it to admit that you’re jealous?”

”I am not!”

”You are\~”

You tease, a grin spreading across your face.

”Tch, whatever.”

He grumbles, unable to hide the slight flush creeping up his neck.

When you return to your classroom, a note sits on your desk, undoubtedly from the guy Taehoon mentioned. It reads, "Please meet me at the school gym after break.” the penmanship even better than yours and Taehoon’s combined.

”You’re not planning on going out with him, are ya?”

Taehoon asks, slyly slinging his arm around your shoulder.

”What do you think my answer will be?”

You reply smugly, pulling him closer.

”Das for you to tell me. What will it be?”

”Hmm, I dunno—”

”Oh, come on.”

Taehoon rolls his eyes in half-disbelief.

Soon enough, you make your way to the gym with Taehoon by your side. There's a bit of bickering and some comments from him about how it's a waste of time to go out with a schoolmate you barely speak to, suggesting it would be better to train with him instead.

As you spot the guy, Taehoon follows closely behind. You turn to face him, silently mouthing a "what" as he stays glued to your side.

”Dude, we need a moment.”

You whisper-shout, but he only rolls his eyes.

”Okay, fine. But if he does something wrong, just signal me and I won’t hesitate to jump him, kick his ass, ruin his life, fuck him up so bad- no, I don’t mean fuck fuck, but like ruin his life to the—”

And with that, you leave Taehoon behind, sighing hopelessly as he wonders if he'll ever muster the same courage as the boy confessing to you now. But for now, it seems like an impossible feat.

He watches from a distance, his expression stoic as he observes the bashful interaction between you and the boy.

”Fuck, maybe I am jealous.”

Taehoon grumbles, his lips pressing together tightly as his thoughts consume him.

What if he isn’t enough for you? What if his personality is a bit too much to handle? What if you really went out with someone else who isn’t- Taehoon? What if deep down, you know his feelings for you but you only decide to ignore because you’re not exactly sure how to reject him?

”What if—?”

"Taehoon, let's go."

You interject with a smile, breaking his train of thought. He stares back blankly as you inquire;

"You alright?”

A part of him—no, every fiber of his being wishes you had rejected the boy. He doesn't want you with anyone else. It's selfish, he knows, but he's unwilling to let you slip away, unwilling to waste a moment he can't spend with you. Fucking cringy as it may sound, it's the truth.

”What did you tell him?” Taehoon asks nonchalantly, trying to mask his inner turmoil.

"I told him if you couldn't come, I wasn't interested. Then he mentioned it was supposed to be a date, and you could come as the third wheel.” ”And then?” "I couldn't picture you agreeing to just being a third wheel, so I said no.”

You reply with a shrug.

Taehoon cartwheels internally, trying his hardest not to smile with the information you just gave him. He silently celebrates the fact that you prioritized HIM over a potential date. Deep down, he wants to shout with joy, scream “FUCK YEAH, TAKE THAT, PUSSY!” But of course, he suppresses all his emotions.

”Then, are you free after school tomorrow?” ”Uh-huh.” ”What about the day after tomorrow?” ”Yup!” ”And the day after that?” ”I have cram school but I’ll make some time for you.” ”What about the day after…”

As the two of you stroll outside the campus, engaged in a lighthearted, nonsensical conversation, Taehoon discreetly pulls out pieces of paper out of his pockets.

"What are those?" You inquire, your curiosity piqued by his secretive actions.

Despite his rough and tough exterior, he's not that cruel and heartless to just stand by and watch you get bullied and that's how the two of you met. You were a quiet shy little thing who mostly kept to yourself. Sometimes he liked watching you, even if it was something he'd never admit and a secret he would take to the grave. He finds it annoying how you always stick your nose in some or the other book all the time. He calls you a nerd, although endearingly as surprising as that is. You're basically untouchable now since you have him protecting you. Anytime someone he doesn't like approaches you, be it a male or female, he just gives them a death stare till they leave since they decided that their life was more important. Will keep calling you a dumbass and idiot at times but, endearingly. He likes it when you get flustered and embarrassed, you look adorable and cute with those bashful expressions of yours. Which will end up in him teasing you even more to get a rise from you

He loves pinning you to the wall and takes great pride in how helpless and powerless you are against him. He smirks when he feels you trying to push him away as he snickers in amusement "You tryna push me away? Feels like a baby kicking me". He will get you to do Taekwando with him because it's a way he can spend more time with you, as much as he's too stubborn to admit it. He starts becoming jealous and possessive of you as time passes and he'll become overbearing. He'll be like a shadow, constantly following you around and when you confront him about it, he'll make it sound so obvious about why he's following you and say that you're too clumsy and naive and can't take care of yourself

He wants you to rely on him. He wants you to cling on to him when you feel scared about something as he wraps his arm around you and pulls you closer to him as he tells you he's here for you. He has a heart too you know. As for his fangirls, he doesn't give a damn about them and you know that. He has eyes only for you. You won't be able to escape from him either since he's pretty influential and has a great sense of tracking people down. He will end up kidnapping you at some point when he sees you getting too close to someone else other than him, especially with that Hobin

It's not like you can go to his dad Hansu for help either, he knew about his son's possessive and obsessive tendencies towards you and he's equally possessive of you too. He's just glad his son found someone to be with him. Taehun wouldn't physically abuse you, he never harms someone that he loves but be ready for a lot of arguments though. He hates seeing you cry, he'll just sigh and call you a little crybaby as he pulls you close to him and apologizes softly for making you cry as he gently cradles you. He shows and reveals his soft side only for you

May the gods above have mercy on anyone who dares to mess with even a strand of hair on your head for he will make sure they spend the next few months of their lives strapped to an IV in a hospital. You aren't allowed to go anywhere without him anymore, you're too oblivious and naive, he's worried something might happen. He will get bashful and flustered for a few moments when you compliment his achievements in Taekwando till he tells you to shut it

If he catches you trying to escape, he will be mad but he won't take it out on you. This is where his manipulation tactics come in play, he'll keep messing with those dweebs you call friends till you admit you were in the wrong. He loves it when he kisses you on the lips, your lips are soft as he laces your fingers through his. He also likes it when you run your hands through his hair or just hold his hand, he adores how your hand is compared to his calloused one

All in all, he may be prickly but deep down he loves you. And yes, he has killed for you and will kill for you and perhaps even stalked the living daylights out of you without your knowledge...
