I never talk about them, but KathEvie is one of my top 5 cc ships ever. They're so fricking cute. Their relationship development felt real compared to a lot of others, and I really respect and love that as a lesbian myself.

I love the effect they have on each other, too. Katherine definitely brings out the confidence in Evie, yet is very patient with her each step of the way.

Evie gives Katherine a reason to keep fighting. She gives her endless support when she feels boxed in in her job. I can imagine the trauma of knowing your death is inevitable would be a heavy weight, especially on Katherine. So, to have a way to try and heal together after that is something I feel like they definitely took seriously.

Headcanon, but Katherine's character totally inspired parts of Evie's writing, but she was too shy to tell her. After reading it, Katherine KNEW, this character was definitely based on her, and she finds it adorable.

Hello all!~ How you all doing? Personally I’m good uwu Break has been nice. Been doing some reblogs and an ask on a few blogs yes. But I mostly been doing some behind the scenes stuff. Aaaaand joining a fun server to help out in what I can. I’ve also been playing my Pokémon violet game and trying to work on Felly a little. X…D Let’s just say if I ever wanna play her. I need to either homebrew some stuff or make a special curse like sheet. Which is tricky when your dm friend is so damn busy aaaaaaa-I may need to find a new campaign X….D (which is like going to the jungle to hunt for rare birds lol) Anyways I’m sure you are all wondering “Cc… WHERE THE FUCK ARE OUR WHOLESOME BEANS!?” and to that I say….. shut up-NO IM KIDDING LOL. As I said before I needed a bit of a break cuz I was getting overwhelmed a bit with distractions. My adhd mind has a bad habit of replying and looking at anyone who messages or talks to me. And when it’s 6 or 8 people at once I tend to…. X…D go all over the place. Before anyone says I should just go do not disturb and tell people not to talk to me. No. I don’t roll like that. It’s my own fault for spreading myself way too thin. Plus even if it happened twice. I rarely have so many people dm me at once. So I do not plan to change how I message or let people talk to me privately. I will go DND when I feel like I need a sec. But in the end I’ll be just fine.

Pointless TS4 gameplay ramblings...

I've never got to a second generation when playing The Sims (and only one of my sims ever had a baby -- when I was playing the Pancakes -- which was my only visit to a hospital). I get distracted. I spend more time building every apartment and house in the game (whether I intend to play with whoever lives there or not), and making over every single npc. I feel an overwhelming urge to have the perfect world fully-realised before I can settle down and play. This is a problem.

I haven’t experienced any of the gameplay from Get to Work, and barely any from many of the other packs. I’ve thrown two parties, visited the spa just once when testing cc, and have been on one date. I’m yet to throw a bowling ball, build a rocket, see an alien, join a club, have a wedding, buy a restaurant, move house, switch jobs, see someone die, turn someone into a vampire, or go camping.

While I won’t be able to stop making over npcs or building and decorating, I’m making a concerted effort with Violet Grubbs to stick with a sim, and have them experience more things. Eventually I’d like to have her experience the entire life cycle, and I’d like to move on with her off-spring. I don’t know how successful I’ll be. 

To help, I’m trying to provide a little structure simply by aiming to take a couple of screenshots that describe a situation, and post them with a small bit of text. Not precisely an ongoing story, because I’m not experienced in creating well-rounded stories for sims, but something to make it feel like there’s a reason to what I’m doing. As a silly psychological hook I made the little orange line to post under the screenshots. Not quite the lovely banner some of you create for your legacies and other gameplay pictures, and it seems inconsequential in itself, but it’s helping at the moment to make it seem like I have a point to all of this.

So there you go. This was amoebae’s pointless ramblings to make your Saturday more dull.

instead of proposing with a normal ring, celine gets on one knee, greta turns around. celine asks "will you be my queen?" and takes out the queen chess piece she had put on a ring (isaacs idea.) and while greta thinks its SO corny she also thinks its so adorable n she immediately nods and jumps into celines arms n gives her so many kisses.

dont know if i ever shared this on here,, but i have a silly little headcanon where isaac bontemps and celine georges are cousins n isaac is actually the reason that celine got into chess herself. it's gonna be a major thing in my little rewrite im doing but ill rant abt that later lol.

- basically since isaac is 9 years older, he'd be nine years old when celine is a little baby. she's his cousin on his mom's side, and he's always liked his aunt,, b u t he doesn't rlly like babies bc they're loud and they cry and he just absolutely hates that.

- when she was only a couple weeks old isaac hesitantly accepted holding her, but she instantly started screaming which enforced his i hate babies thing even harder than before.

- and when she's about eight months old isaac is made to sit with her, but he mainly just ignores her and tries to master his techniques in chess. as soon as he takes his eye off celine she obviously crawls away over to pieces isaac isnt using and immediately starts chewing on them. isaac doesn't notice but as soon as he does he screams as if he'd literally broken his arm. celine starts crying and it's just an overall nightmare.

- while his own mother is mad,, his aunt understands, celine chews and bites at ANYTHING she can get her hands on. she apologises to isaac, and promises she'll buy him a new chess set. but it's not the same to him, these pieces are close to his heart, gifted to him years ago,, they took his mind off the accident. they took his mind off the bad times. he was extremely attached to those chess pieces.

- a few months pass, and isaac has been taking a break after having his pieces destroyed. but he slowly starts getting back to it. celine isn't put into his room anymore, and if she crawls over to it he simply takes her back to her mom. but one day he's too engrossed in the game when a tiny hand grabs at one of the opposing pieces. isaac looks up to see celine with one of the chess pieces, and he's about to scream for his aunt to come and get her, but stops when he notices she's moving it across the board albeit in a completely wrong way. she puts it down and looks up at isaac who is staring. he lets her know she did it wrong,, but then realises she was only trying to copy him, so he moves the piece himself, showing her what its meant to look like.

- celine being only a baby doesnt really know what hes trying to tell her but she claps her hands and seems to be excited by what's going on. soon isaacs aunt comes in asking isaac if he's seen celine, only to find her on isaacs lap as shes watching him move pieces,,, even if she's not taking it in properly. isaac appreciates someone listening to him.

- any time his aunt comes over from then on, celine immediately will reach for isaac and he'll take her off his aunt and then they'll spend the next hour with isaacs chess board, he rambles on and on and celine seems content with making random noises in response... even if isaac has to take pieces off her because she still sometimes wants to chew them.

rewrite:

- after celines death, isaac is so glad he kept the chess pieces she chewed in a box.. they were so special to him before she'd chewed at them, but now they meant a WHOLE lot more to him. he keeps them on the mantle piece in his house, next to a photo of both celine and him when they were younger. its a sweet reminder of her, but he misses her dearly,,

one thing i hate is orville not getting his own proper case appearance before his death. i am glad he got that b&w sprite but i wanna edit him w the others n its just ughhh whyy did they do that.

another thing that gets me is where? was? celines? competition? outfit? greta was alr wearing hers and so was stanley. what was she going to go and show up in the same oil stained green shirt and overalls she wears everyday? the competition meant so much to her.. i mean maybe getting the truth out was more important than it but maaan im just salty she didnt get a lil cute fit that's like white or smth,, 😕 she would've looked so pretty n she could've had a cute hat or smth or a hair clip. her curls are already gorgeous so they didnt need to change anything to do w that just man give the motp century mile fans what they want </3
