Kari McKeen Babysitter Extrodinare

So for those not familiar with Jack Jack Attack, Jack-jack manifested his powers while Kari (a teenaged friend of Violet's) was baby sitting him. She came way over prepared for a normal baby, educational flash cards, Mozart for brain development, the works.

Where Bob, Dash, Violet, and Lucius couldn't keep him in this dimension without cookies, she kept him happily entertained and engaged (we never see any sign of the angry hulk-esque version of Jack-jack with her).

Was she a bit frazzled? yes. Was the house a bit scorched? maybe, but she was actually doing the flash cards with him, and he seemed to be happy and learning. A feat that no one else has seemed to be able to do (except edna mode, but I don't know how educational she was, and she is an icon).

They play it off, and she has her memory erased, but she was honestly one of the most impressive characters in my mind because she didn't falter. She may have had a little internal panic and tried to call Mrs. Parr when the baby started floating through walls, but at the end of the day she did her job beyond what anyone could have expected from her.

It's definitely presented as more of a running gag and a joke, but she did an awesome job and I just think she deserves more appreciation.

Surprising no one, I’m having acid reflux (I sure wonder why) so I’m going to finally watch the last three episodes of s2 of t.orchwood and cry to @fablelike during it (by the way, an absolutely beautiful human being with a super kind soul who I am lucky to have bless my dash and I hope you agree and follow them because 100/10 recommend all their blogs. Fantastic writer and human being!!) most likely will be mobile for the rest of the night because I am not great mentally but I am getting by. Things will work out and I will be writing up a storm soon, I feel it.
