Lucy's Secrets Chapter two

CHAPTER 2: “YOU’RE A BAD WOMAN, VIOLET GRAY” AS WELL AS “VIOLET STOP, DON'T STEAL IT”

One day in the city of Peanutstown, Violet Gray was home, doing her after school homework while she had music videos playing on TV while she did her homework so it wouldn't be too quiet while working on her homework.

Then suddenly, while Violet was working on the Math portion of her homework, a brunette-haired VJ lady on TV announced that the next music video that was about to be played would be the music video for Linus and Lucy by Charlie Brown and The PEANUTS Gang. 

Upon hearing this, Violet looked up at the TV and in an annoyed tone, said to herself “Oh good grief! That's the last thing I needed. To hear a song from that failure-face and his stupid band and I'll bet this music video will be just as stupid as Charlie Brown himself.”

As Violet said this, the music video for Linus and Lucy started playing. The music video was about Charlie Brown being a Director, except in the music video, instead of directing a Christmas play, he was playing a music video Director and with the exception of Schroeder on the synthesizer, Franklin on the drums, Snoopy on lead guitar, Lucy on the keytar and Linus on the bass guitar as well as Pig-Pen on double bass, everyone else in the music video were dancing.

To Violet, this was one of the worst New Wave songs she had ever heard as well as one of the worst music videos she had ever watched.

When the music video for Linus and Lucy ended, Violet, now very upset said to herself “Oh good grief! That music video for Charlie Brown and his band of losers’ Linus and Lucy was WORSE than the video for Journey’s Separate Ways! I am going to make that blockhead and his band suffer if it's the last thing I’ll ever do!”

The next day at school during Study Period, Lucy was in the school Library writing in her diary for a little bit before she closed it and went back to studying for a History test she had later that day. 

When it was the last ten minutes of Study Period, Lucy got up to put a History Encyclopedia she had gotten back on the Encyclopedia shelf in the Library.

Unbeknownst to Lucy as well as anyone else, Violet spotted Lucy’s diary where she left it on her table and stole it.

I don't think much about Shermy in college but I do have highschool headcanons for him

In highschool he started drifting away from the Peanuts gang more and more as he started to meet new people

but he always stayed friends with Violet and Patty because all 3 of them enjoy bullying people

He dated Lucy in highschool, but their relationship ends before senior prom

He sees even less of the Old Gang in college but still hangs out with Violet and Patty

Eventually he has a cringe failmarriage with Violet and they get divorced

Violet

Is probably one of the richest girls in the Peanuts cast

Has a distant father whose attention she craves but never really seems to get

She comes off as shallow and self-serving, but there is some actual depth beneath her catty remarks, but she's very guarded and only Patty really knows about her deeper thoughts and feelings

She does actually care for Patty, who is her best friend. She can be bossy and often positions herself as the 'leader' between the two of them, but she would never do anything that would intentionally hurt Patty I think

Sometimes she is friends with Frieda and sometimes she hates Frieda but she has that attitude towards a lot of people. Violet just follows her hateful whims

likes to stir up drama for fun and enrichment

Purple is her fav color DUH but besides that she likes green and red too

555, or as he likes to be called "Five" (as a nickname) has a really strange family, I always picture him being alienated from his peers because of this

Five is really good at math, and so of course that's his major in college

He has a strained relationship with his dad, and wants to be nothing like him

His major in college tends to drive him a bit crazy. He realizes that instead of fighting against numbers, he's given into them and become their lackey by wanting to become a mathematician...

He's going to suffer, but he'll learn to ride things out.

Aged up and stuff both random fun and tidbits based on the original comics

Charlie: Black long sleeve shirt under, hair grown out at the top but still cropped near nape and ears, evened proportions of face to play with the “roundness” yet still apply some angles resulting from getting older, a still insecured glow-up case

Linus: Black earrings, big eyes as per comic, shorter than everyone depicted, original catchphrase

Schroeder: slightly deeper color hair than Charlie, black turtleneck with rolled up sleeves, “beautiful eyes,” as per the words of Lucy whom I’m aware is a biased source

Violet: presented returning to her old pigtails, extra-tsundere to who had original won her heart for a while

Context based on comics: Linus usurped Schroeder as Charlie’s closest friend, so let’s have him compete for his place besides Charlie now that they’re all older.
