a girl handed me her viola while she played mine and i immediately noticed how small the viola felt in my hands. and then i plucked the strings and was like hm i think someones put a G string where your C should be! and hey why’s your A sounding like an E? this is a funny looking viola dude!- OH.

The funny thing is that the only major differences between a viola and a violin is the clef and pitch, otherwise, you could tune a violin into a viola (don’t try this it can break your violin)

All the viola insults have gone too far" firstly, it's always been established that violinists and violists tease each other in orchestra culture. secondly, if some light ribbing about the viola makes you so terrified of picking up or starting an instrument you like or appreciate, you're a loser and the viola deserves better than you. the viola isn't for the fucking weak ass kids who cry because they think violinists are the "cool" kids and want to feel special. good luck feeling special and important when half your orchestra is violinists and you never actually get the attention you're seeking. fucking weak ass kids nowadays oh my god.
