MGMT is one of the most underrated bands out there and it's a shame. sure they regained popularity again with little dark age after being known for kids and time to pretend, but there's so many good songs that need to be known and i really love the evolution of their aesthetic like why the people around me are not talking about the singles that they've put out!!! i think they're cool!!

I treated myself to the limited edition pink pressing of Silk Chiffon ahhhhhhh. When I started collecting vinyls I swore I wouldn't buy singles and yet I pre-ordered vampire (Olivia Rodrigo) and now Silk Chiffon (MUNA, Phoebe Bridgers). The single vinyls are just so cute.

And thank you to r/vinylreleases people who told me I can preorder things like this from my local store so I dont have to pay shipping.

I don't use Spotify, but I've found that googling "[artist] Spotify vinyl" usually does the trick if there's a fans first vinyl lol. Usually the vinyl are on the artist's webstore, just with a hidden link. There's also the r/vinylreleases discord that you can have set up alerts for vinyl drops for specific artists!

i know u can just get them even when u don't get the email! but i just wanted to know how the spotify fans first thing works bc i've never gotten an email lmao
