Pain Of Truth // Out Of Our Hands (feat. Vinnie Caruana)
You already took to much time from me The path that you've chosen Is draining and I can see The facts, you’re scared It’s in your tears And it’s been years I guess it wasn’t made clear Now it’s out of our hands

lsdunes: Happy Thursday!! 👀 #TuckerThursday
(L.S. Dunes Instagram | September 7, 2023)
Transcript under the cut
Tucker: What's up, y'all? This is Tucker, and it is, in fact, Tucker Thursday. We're about 10 days out from Riot Fest, can't wait to play. Thursday goes on at, like, 1:30 (pm), then I play again with Dunes at 4:30... A year since we last did it! Cannot believe it went by so fast. And, speaking of Thursday, I'm on tour today, it's our first day of tour. We're here with Pinkshift, GEL and Vinnie Caruana in Syracuse. It's going to be sick, I cannot wait to play. Coheed is also out on the road, I think... I believe today is their first day of tour, right, Travis? So, much love to all my Coheed brothers. Yeah, stick by our socials tomorrow, we got a little announcement for you. Hope you all are having a great week. Happy Thursday, and the best to you!

recap of wavernot4love's epic thursday, well.... thursday last night (aka the first day of their tour in syracuse w/ gel, pinkshift, & vinnie caruana), let's freakin go!!!
- geoff seemed SO happy and he was really thriving off our energy it was so nice and infectious that man has been one of my favorite frontpeople ever since i saw thursday at adjacent
- geoff bringing back the bit from adjacent explaining emo nights as unfortunate places where people get drunk and make out to the worst music you could make out to and "just when you think it can't get any worse, a guy turns to you and starts criticizing you on the difference between third and fourth wave emo.... and that's when they play this song" [immediately goes into understanding]
- also the THING he does that i get really excited about where he points the mic during the chorus of understanding idk it's wholesome (you can kinda see it in the clip)
- geoff bringing up it downpouring the whole day and saying it was fitting for thursday and then asking if we'd be down to bring a little party (because even these dudes have a little party in them) and then said they were gonna play their version of a song about new year's and well. naturally, jbny went TOO hard as always. thursday goes heavy may be my favorite take on thursday.... what can i say, the boys can write BANGERS!!! anyways, i always (i say thisblike i have seen them more than twice) go so very hard for this one especially.
- SIGNALS OVER THE AIR!! remains one of my favorite live songs of theirs. neat how much it's been turned into a sort of (?) protest song + celebration. i love geoff's intro every time and i love the way that man loves people
- really cool drastic transition into fast to the end w the whole band suddenly walking back onstage to join geoff and go into it
- geoff is the secret third brother of madball & agnostic front (i am feeling silly and will not be giving context on this one)
- deep cuts were played!!! like beyond the visible spectrum. geoff was telling a story that feels too personal to go into detail here but he did end it by saying music is the way he ecperiences spirituality since he was never able to connect w that kinda thing in the traditional way and that really stuck with me dude
- also steps ascending!
- (after the encore, /lh) "we go back there, die for a minute, and then when we hear you chant thursday enough we resurrect ourselves"
- war all the time felt. very special geoff was going on before it about the thursday dudes having saved his life and being grateful for us for being there so they can share this together for 26 years now and. man it was special i just kept making hand hearts @ geoff. also he said something about us making room for some dudes from a little state called new jersey or something along those lines fhhfhd
and the wavernot4love specialties...
- my bullets lockscreen & past lives homescreen shining in the air every time i went to go into the camera app to take a video .... Yea . geoff and tucker know exactly what i am
- badly yelling "IT'S A NEWSPAPER TRAGEDY" while geoff just like. calmly sort of spoken word'd it
- I GOT A TUCKER THURSDAY KANDI!! aka what i will b wearing every tucker thursday for the foreseeable future
- didn't get to meet anybody unfortunately this time but i did continue my ongoing unintentional bit of acting like a cryptid around tucker (homie came out just to go to the bus and i didn't wanna bother him since he wasn't fully stopping/was carrying stuff so i stuck my head down at a 90 degree angle to stare at my phone while basically pushing myself into the window behind me dhhdh) ((the first cryptid incident was dunes toronto 23 when i went to go get my posters & cd out of my car after the show a block away then went to go back by the buses & on the way the two of us somehow wound up waiting at the same crosswalk so i tried to hide i was a dunes person and probably just looked twitchy and still like an absolute dunesie))
get out to a show!

#basically i highly recommend going 2 thursday world#both physically and figuratively#i mean it though this show was and band is so special#i don't know what i would have done without it as this past month post-tourdust has been. Rough#i truly need shows to remotely thrive as this stuff has been my primary interest for going on ten years and without them#i simply do not feel very alive#while they all do both times i've seen thursday specifically it's caused me to experience a truly remarkable feeling of. liveliness?#not trying to sound far out here just genuinely have stood there both times like. wow. this is what it feels like 2 wholly enjoy being aliv#i definitely credit geoff's demeanor i mentioned in this post for at least part of that#point is just please do go see for yourself get out to a show info/link is at the bottom of this post#wavernot4love gets 2 the gig#wavernot4lovetalksmusic#thursday#thursdayband#geoff rickly#tucker rule#post hardcore#thursday band

Just Like Home Tour 2023
What is there to do in Buffalo, NY on a Wednesday night? When Bayside’s Just Like Home Tour swings by your city that’s exactly where you go. Fans filed into the Town Ballroom for Bayside’s last stop of this epic tour. With friends I Am the Avalanche and Koyo, it was sure to be a night filled with fan favorites and emo nostalgia. Let’s be real, Bayside also has some of the best merch out there! With doors opening at 6:30 pm, the venue quickly filled with fans aiming straight for the barricade in order to get their front-row spot.
Emo/pop-punk band Koyo hit the stage first. The band originally named The L Word after the song “Taming the L” by Silent Majority, changed to Koyo after inspiration from the Japanese term relating to the colors and leaves that change in the fall. With influences from bands such as Brand New and Taking Back Sunday, it’s easy to see why this band paired so well with Bayside’s tour. While this band wasn’t well known by the crowd, lead singer Joey Chiaramonte left his mark. The band’s charismatic energy along with some pretty catchy lyrics held onto the crowd’s attention throughout the night. Their rough pop-punk sound paired with melodic vocals was impressive and quickly had the crowd forming a circle pit in the center of the ballroom's main floor.
I Am the Avalanche took the stage next and seemed to be quite the fan favorite. While I heard some songs, I had never seen the band live. I was not disappointed. The clean vocals of Vinnie Caruana were just as smooth live as they were on track. The Brooklyn-based band ate and left no crumbs as they flew across the stage with pounded the atmosphere full of energy. The strong stage presence of the band along with their easily relatable lyrics had fans glued to the main stage. The group’s sophomore album Avalanche United, released in 2011, seemed to be a popular album with fans. The band highlighted their talent with plenty of head-banging drum beats, murderous riffs, and feverish vocals. Overall, make sure to catch this band live!
As the lights went out in the venue, Bayside finally appeared to once again prove why their one of the major OG’s of the pop-punk scene. The best thing about Bayside is its immense variety of songs. Happy? Sad? Angry? Heartbroken? Bayside has a song for every emotion which is why this band is so relatable to their fans. Not to mention the fact that lead singer Anthony Raneri has one of the most unique voices in the scene. Prior to the show, the band had a VIP experience where fans could meet the band, stop for a picture, and even enjoy a small acoustic performance. Fans absolutely love this band and you can easily see this feeling is mutual. Raneri was all smiles as the band took the stage. Being the last stop of the tour I knew this was going to be a great one. The band’s appreciation of being able to make new music and still have fans as passionate as they were was mentioned multiple times throughout the night. Bayside is simply just one of those bands that dive into new music while still holding true to their roots. Exploding into their first song “Big Cheese” off their album Cult, the crowd matched every lyric and energy of the band. Phones flew up all over the venue as fans made sure to document the clean vocals, exploding guitar riffs, and heart-pounding drum hits. The night was full of surprises with appearances from the lead singers of both I Am the Avalanche and Koyo, who sang along to some of Bayside’s most popular hits. The nostalgic aura of songs like “Blame It On Bad Luck”, “Don’t call me Peanut” and “Devotion and Desire” had fans singing so loud Raneri’s vocals seemed to grow more and more distant. The band did slow it down during the set for some acoustic sounds. Playing my absolute favorite “It Don’t Exist” which had fans swaying back and forth to every lyric. Bayside has always put on a show that shows their eclectic range and this night was no different.
If you haven’t had a chance to see Bayside live please do yourself a favor and catch them on their next tour. While the Just Like Home Tour has ended, the band shows no sign of slowing down.
