Vincent Zhao, as the Governor of Nine Gates, battles Jet Li, as Fong Sai-yuk, in this behind-the-scenes look from Fong Sai-yuk (1993), aka The Legend. Note all the visible wires needed for the flying "wire fu" fighting.

Jet Li had just left the Once Upon A Time In China film series, after portraying real-life martial arts legend Wong Fei-hung in the first three films.

Vincent Zhao was the actor who replaced him as Fei-hung that same year, starring in OUATIC lV and V, as well as a 20-episode television series.

Li returned to the role of Wong Fei-hung for the last time in the last film of the series, Once Upon A Time In China And America (1997).

chamber

hybrid!chamber is the type to keep nagging you while you’re deep into working on your project, clearly not caring how busy you are. he wants your attention, and you must give it to him.

“vin, i’m still working on something.”

“i don’t care…”

you sighed, “we’ll cuddle in 10 minutes, alright?”

“you’ve been saying that for the past 30 minutes, amour…” he said, burying his face into the crook of your neck again, his fluffy ears now flat against his head.

brat hybrid chamber. brat hybrid chamber. brat hybrid chamber.

would give you the silent treatment if you forgot to give him the kiss of the day. though, he prefers making out with you.

chamber would never stop rubbing himself on you, in other words, marking you with his scent. he hates the way his scent gets mixed up with others’ whenever you came back from a mission.

so, the usual post-mission ritual is to have you stay in his room while he pamper fucks you with so much love because the hybrid missed you sooo much (god forbid the two of you get separated or else hell will break loose).

trust me, he’s a good boy. as long as he gets enough attention, cuddles and kisses from you, he’s content <3

oh, truly the epitome of sweetheart.

hybrid!iso doesn’t complain much, but sometimes he does get bad days.

would cling onto you 24/7 like his life depends on it. doesn’t matter what time and where you are. it’s just him being protective possessive.

whenever both of you are deployed together during missions, he would follow you everywhere you go. like a lost puppy, or should i say, like he’s your pocket duelist.

iso has to make sure you’re in his sight at all times, so u wouldn’t get injured. he would never let that happen.

“aren’t you supposed to be with cypher?”

he shook his head nonchalantly, “wanna be with you instead.”

and iso always tries his best to show you how skillful he is at something, just so he could receive praises from you. it’s the only thing that keeps him going <3

“you did great today, good boy ~” you said as you ruffle his hair and rubs his ears, his tail wagging in excitement. you could tell he’s trying to hide his blush with the collar of his jacket, but failed.
