Vincent had never seen it before, but from your arm hanging off the bed close to it he could tell it was yours. Wasn’t anything wrong with a comfort item.

Vincent picked the teddy bear up and rolled you over. You groaned a bit, fluttering your eyes open and closed. He put the bear in your arms and made sure you weren’t going to drop them again.

He changed his clothes and gave you a kiss on the forehead before leaving to work.

You’d woken up hours later, around 10 am. You wipe your eyes and furrow your brows feeling your teddy bear in your arms. Usually you dropped him at night. You also didn’t roll around as much. Then for a brief second your boyfriend’s face flashed in your memory.

Ah shit.

Anxiety courses through you all day. You didn’t want to see Vincent. You didn’t want him looking at you, it was embarrassing. You’re a grown man who can’t sleep without a stuffed animal. He’d tell Bo and they’d both make fun of you. What were you gonna do?

Dinner was at 6, you ate by yourself and when you called Vincent up you ran up stairs to hide in your bedroom. Vincent didn’t think anything of it, thought you might’ve been busy. He’d be done around 8 and he could see you then.

8 o’clock came. You hadn’t been down from your shared bedroom. So Vincent made his way upstairs. He gave a small knock but came in without an answer from you.

You sat on your bed hiding your teddy bear behind you. You’d been contemplating getting rid of him or not.

“Heyyyy.”

Vincent scowls and looks you up and down. He shuts the door softly. “What’s up wit’ you?”

“NothING!”

Vincent walks over and quickly looks behind you, your grip is hard on your stuffed bear. He smiles teasingly.

“Teddy Bear’s cute.” He points, you look down and bring it forward, setting it on your lap.

“I was thinking about getting rid of him.” You say, your heart squeezes and tears well up.

“Why’s that?” Vincent and you loo Kat each other.

“It’s embarrassing that I still have it. I’m grown, I’ve been grown. Im sorry you had to see me with it.”

Vincent snorts. You look at him puzzled. “What?”

“It ain’t embarassin’. ‘specially if it brings you comfort. Don’t think like that.” Vincent cups your face. He kisses your forehead and leaves the room. You sit there confused and listen to the rustling and bangs of boxes being moved. Minutes after the boxes stop moving he comes back. Vincent holds a black bear in his large hands. It’s like a small puppy compared to him.

You let Vincent take your stuffy out of your hands and he sets the two next to each other on the bed. “Can both sleep with our comfort animals tonight.” He explains. You smile and hold out your arms. He hugs you gently.

“Thank you Vincent. It means a lot.”

Teddy: Are you well..? I saw you but..there's no way I could come any closer.

Belle: As well as being expected. You my love?

Teddy: Not hungry anymore…

Belle: Are you with your lover?

Teddy: Whatever did we say about name calling? I am at his place but no, he is not home.

Belle: Not the Shard?

Teddy: No. If Artemis and her people are around, I need to be some place they won't suspect me.

Belle: Understood. As Vincente's second, you are a key player that they would like to see off the board. Is there anything that I can do to be of help?

Teddy: I don't know, actually. Izak has plans that could endanger the order of things..in some ways, it's led me to think it is almost inevitable.

Belle: Izak is a danger. I can speak to him, but he might need to be put away

Teddy: He's not wrong. We're being targeted and nothing is being done to repair the damage that's being done. I know her. The vampire that did this. It's not like her…and it makes one wonder how much Artemis has on us.

Belle: Who was she? I couldn't see in the crowd. Whispers from the council say that she was driven to this

Teddy: She worked a secretary job on the lower floors. I had noticed she had been missing a few of her shifts but..with the emergency looming over us, I ..didn't think too much of it.

Belle: You did nothing wrong, Teddy. Vampiric nature is that of a loner. If she needed time to herself, you were attempting to give it to her. There are others who should have noted the absence

Teddy: …yes, probably. I do work security, though.

Belle: And are you her direct supervisor?

Teddy: No..

Belle: Are you in charge or scheduling?

Teddy: I see your point. I'm just stressed out..

Belle: With good reason, but I do not wish for you to internalize what happened for a moment. It could not be avoided no matter how well we planned.

Teddy: I wanted to warn you about Rosu just in case things start taking place in the city - you need to protect yourself and your clan. It could not be avoided no matter how well we planned ..yes. Have they..invited you to the council debate yet?

Belle: I appreciate that. I have plans in place for my girls. We have the tech and witches who work with us. Unfortunately not. The deity elders are being stubborn

Teddy: Regular check-ins sounds like a good idea..maybe. Well, that is both annoying and not surprising at all.

Belle: They are deities. They think they know all. Darling, would you do me a favor? Come around my place tomorrow as well. I know you need to be somewhere comfortable for now, but I do wish to see you. Of course we can continue to chat here, but you do know what I means

Teddy: Deities were such a foreign concept to me for such a long time…I do..and of course. I, too, would appreciate your company. Can I pick a time or did you have any specific one in mind?

Belle: Please forgive my bluntness but with a few exceptions most as just asshole with wings. Whenever you'd like. I'm inviting the girls over for a meeting this evening, but I do not imagine anything pressing for tomorrow unless the council actually decides to convene.

Teddy: I won't disupte that. Good..just let me know if it does come up. I'm sure we'll be able to make it work.

Belle: I shall. But do be honest, is there anything at all I can get you? Shall I see if Viv can get that police officer on zoom?

Teddy: It's okay, honestly. I'd rather he don't see me on edge or nervous about anything..

Belle: Of course. And do remember that even if we are in a meeting, your room at the house is always open

Teddy: Then perhaps I'll sneak in anyway. I do like to see you in action.

Belle: You mean bossing people around?

Teddy: Is that so bad? ;)

Belle: Depends on the occasion.

Teddy: I mean, sure…

Belle: Did I ever tell you about the time I made your grandsire help me dress?

Teddy: I don't recall. Did he?

Belle: I draped him in silver jewelry.

Teddy: Impressive.

Belle: He deserved it

Teddy: Again, not disputing that. It's not easy, is it? To have a sibling like him.

Belle: No, but there have been benefits. I care deeply for you and your sire. The one good thing that idiot did

Teddy: The feeling is very much returned. You know how much I look up to you, Belle.

Belle: Now let's not be sentimental. You'll make my mascara run

Teddy: Now, now. We would not want that.

Belle: Indeed we wouldn't. It would ruin the entire aesthetic.

Teddy: I will see you soon, Belle.

Something Worth Fighting For (Sinclair brothers x F!OC) (PLATONIC)

I've gotten permission from the original person who made the sister Sinclair AU to use it. The person is @loveandmurders , they will also be tagged below, please for the love of everything go check them out! They are an amazing writer and absolutely love them! But let's continue on to some background for this stuff, the first few chapters are going to be background for the story.  The ages of the Sinclairs are; Bo and Vincent: 10, Lester: 7, and Emily: 4. Ill say when we get to current times.

From the very beginning, it was as if the universe was out to get them. Bo thought that God hated him and his siblings. With him being strapped to that damn high chair and his white-hot rage, Vincent's self-esteem completely hitting rock bottom and being berated into being the perfect artist, Lester trying his best to be cared for and loved, and Emily, his baby sister, and the youngest Sinclair, fighting to just get a place in the family.

He was completely sure that the two youngest kids were honest accidents. But he would never tell them that, he loved them too much for that.

Currently, Bo was doing homework in the room he and Vincent shared. Despite what most people thought, Vince wasn't the favorite. He was abused just like the rest of them. Bo was sure that his parents were not meant to be parents....at all. He was getting bored with the math in front of him. There wasn't much sound in the house, their father was out helping someone in town, their mother and Vincent were in her workshop at the House of Wax, and he could never be sure where Lester was. Lester was a wild card, he could be in the woods playing with bugs or outside with the kids down the street.

Bo thought of his baby sister, she was the smallest out of all of them, being born prematurely. She had a rougher start than all of them too. Within days of her birth, she was handed over to her siblings, luckily he and Vincent had raised Lester, so they knew what to do, at least within reason. Snapping out of his thoughts as he heard the sound of small footsteps walking toward him, he turned in his seat. There was the person he happened to just be thinking about. Emily was standing in the doorway, in her hand-me-downs, her hair a complete mess, and a small teddy bear in her grasp.

He smiled softly at her, earning a small smile in return. He always felt calm with her around. She was his and his brothers little sunshine.

"What's up, darlin'?" he said in a soft tone. She disliked loud noises and harsh tones. Coming closer to him, she raised her arms, something she did when she wanted someone to pick her up. He complied immediately, never one to keep her waiting.

" I jus wanted to play wit you!" She squeaked out. "Do ya wanna play?" Hope shined in her eyes, he knew immediately he couldn't say no. "Sure thin', kid" she quickly hugged him tightly, with a small 'yay!' to company it. With her being so small, Bo was able to put her on his hip. He wished she'd stay small forever, but that wouldn't be fair.

(Small time skip)

A few hours of playing and Lester joining in at some point, the front door opened. Knowing by the footsteps alone, the three children knew who just came home. Their father, Dr. Victor Sinclair and by the heaviness of his steps he was not in the best of moods. As much as Bo hated him, he needed to give Lester and Emily time to clean up before he saw and something worse happened. The two were cleaning up fast with Bo's help but it didn't seem to be enough.

"What the hell is all this shit on the floor?" Their fathers voice was raised but not quite yelling yet. "We're cleanin it up. Give us a second.." Bo snapped at him. "Well you shoulda had this shit cleaned up before I got home!" Victors voice had raised on the cusp of yelling and Bo could feel the anger rising in him. "And how the hell were we supposed ta know when you get home?!" Bo shouted at him, turning to face him. He could hear them finish up cleaning and than Lester taking Emily out of the room, while Victor was distracted with Bo.

It was going to be a long night.

I could never picture them, even as a fling. TVD - Jeremy and Bonnie. when they were together, it was actually an illegal ship y'all. Jeremy was 16, and Bonnie was 18-19. I really wished they'd just bonded as a human connection to Elena and not... yk, ghost-shagged each other Gilmore Girls - LANE AND ZACH. where did they even come from? out of thin air that's where. Lane deserved her happy ending with Dave Rygalski and I will die on this hill. Teen Wolf - (brace yourself) Lydia and Parrish. Malia and Parrish. Melissa and Argent. wtf? at this point I'm pretty sure Jeff Davis just played chits and picked his ships randomly. All of Parrish's ships are ew (that's just his luck unfortunately) and Melissa with Peter would have been the best choice are you kidding me? RNM - Again, the Max-Anatsa storyline. It's like, again, they played chits with who she should be with. My Max is not the one-night stand kinda guy (which I'm proud of, representation of my soul) and him sleeping with Anatsa and then just dropping her is WACKY. Isobel and Anatsa were so much better, and had good development Nancy Drew - Park's arc. The writers had the potential in their very hands and chucked it themselves. Park as the ISM/FHK would have made so much sense, it would have been the best direction for his appearance. TVD - The entire Alaric x Caroline thing. HATED THAT. HATED THAT the way Ashley Ippolito hates Nate Jacobs. He's like 15 years older than her and IS HER BEST FRIEND'S STEPDAD. And the Alaric and Stefan pissing contest for Caroline. Dear writers you didn't give Caroline Forbes the Elle Woods arc she deserved to put her in this dump of a situation! Gilmore Girls - Married Dean cheating thing. "He's MY Dean" Rory honey go touch some grass and juggle some balls. He's fucking married and as your mother once said "Solidarity Sister". Lindsey wasn't all that bad, and she definitely deserved better than being cheated on at the age of 19. Teen Wolf - Argent and Melissa. Explained above. Notice how in the movie, Argent and Melissa didn't really have any romantic/close scene without a third wheel (thank God)? It's like Jeff Davis finally realized that oh shit, aren't their respective kids the main reason this all started? Grey's Anatomy - Jackson and Maggie. Just— NO.

Nancy Drew - everyone loves everyone in this one. so I can't really say anything divergent RNM - i think we love everyone right? TVD - VIncent Griffith (does he count? idk but I love his humor and badassery). Oh, and also Valerie Tulle. She was sweet while she lasted wasn't she? I honestly saw more in Stellerie than in Steroline (why you booing me when I'm right!) Gilmore Girls - Lindsey. Just because her taste in music is different from Rory and Jess's, doesn't mean she's not a good human. She tried so much to keep her marriage afloat, and I've never seen her be rude like Rory to Shane. Grey's Anatomy - Sam Bello (basically foetus Liz Ortecho) because she's the sweetest most bubbly thing after firecrackers in honey.
