@postguilt has sent in this: five times watched: ( five times the receiver watched the sender while they were working or doing something ) | ’ 𝙵𝙸𝚅𝙴 𝚃𝙸𝙼𝙴𝚂 ’ 𝙳𝚁𝙰𝙱𝙱𝙻𝙴 𝙿𝚁𝙾𝙼𝙿𝚃𝚂. ( accepting !! )
Let's go way back for the first time. The moment Miecz was introduced to Connor and not The Corinthian. Where the wool was pulled over his eyes. Because Miecz did not know who the Corinthian was. The Corinthian observed him, watched Miecz explain how to pronounce his name. Meech. Federal Agent. He saw it when Miecz was getting money from his wallet. And then the Corinthian watched him eventually walk away with his coffee. Meech. Miecz. Hm.
The second time around was a simple thing. He might've watched him in his dreams. Observing as most nightmares do. But the Corinthian did not change anything. He made sure that the Corinthian was subtle. He left nothing untouched. Not when you're mirroring someone. An exact replica of a background character, or a friend from the past. The reflection of someone that Miecz knew, and not some blond figure standing there. It seemed that Miecz had probably fallen asleep doing his work at his desk right at home. Oh, how did he know that exactly? This leads into the third time ( which is technically the second time and the dream would be the third time but I ain't going to try and delete this whole thing-- Tumblr can fuck off. ) He stood under a street light, the darkness devouring everything else that wasn't being saved by a mere light that made moths go crazy over about. Hello, You. The Corinthian thought, craning his head to see the Federal Agent work. He brought a cigarette to his lips and sucked in the nicotine that burns his lungs satisfyingly.
The fourth time is a crime scene, specifically the crime scene that was notoriously surrounding the Corinthian case for Miecz. ( & his partner, Samson. The work wife needs a little shout out. ) It was a romantic gesture, and Miecz deserves something romantic. Roses spelling out his name. A card written in blood. And soon he would see the romantic gesture. He bit into his popsicle, teeth digging in. He doesn't get brain freeze, and a child just stared at him, completely in awe, who has a popsicle in their hand too. No mother in sight. He offered the popsicle and said: "Heeey. For another popsicle, a little bitten in. Do you think you can ask that man over there that I said Hi? And that there will be another one. And if he says who you are talking about? Just say: Meechy Peechy. He'll get the hint."
And the fifth time, a boring one, coffee in hand, eye mouths boring into the back of a profiler who is so keen on putting his entire attention on his work rather than him. Corinthian huffed, drank the rest of the coffee and puts it aside. If Scully ( one of Miecz's cats ) smacks it off the table, not his fault. He leans down, grabs Miecz's jaw and angles it in a way that the Corinthian could make his move and kiss his lips. He'll be watching him this time.
#[ answered. — you called forth a dream ; you caught yourself a nightmare ]#[ v. main — the nightmare unleashed ]#postguilt#( boom! done ! )#( also the temptation for the corinthian to smack the popsicle out of the child's hand was strong )#( it would be very villanelle of him to do that )#( but doing this seems more eerie for miecz )

@imprvdente / & Fish
Fucking asshole. Her blouse was brand new, and it was expensive, one of a kind! Villanelle hadn't expected the idiot she'd been sent to kill to land a blow to her face. Not only had he ruined her shirt by getting blood on it, he'd ruined her shirt by getting her blood on it. He'd made her bleed!
Still. At least she'd been able to watch the light go out of his eyes, and she'd enjoyed it especially for the cut to her eyebrow that had sent blood running down into her eye, her mouth, droplets ruining her beautiful outfit. She hadn't pegged him for a fighter. A pleader, yes, of course. But he'd made a stupid move. He should have recognised he had no chance against someone younger, stronger.
More ruthless.
A voice pulled Villanelle out of her sulk- the cute girl from down the hallway. The ballet dancer. Words came from Villanelle's mouth before she even had time to consider them, automatically moving into a lie. And one that might get her a little more sympathy from the concerned girl with the great legs.
"Oh- I'm fine! I'm fine, this fucking guy, he tried to take my bag, you know? Knocked me over."
@omniishambles . 𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐑
Night had already fallen when Fish opened the door and slipped into the building's entryway. Outside, life was still bustling. People were laughing at the terraces of cafés and cars were honking in the distance. Even the cold rain of November couldn't deter Parisians from going out.
But she had spent a good chunk of the evening in the studio, practicing, and now all she wanted was to lie down. Whenever she got home so late, she always tried to be as discreet as possible. Some of the older neighbors, especially one mean old woman, were quick to storm out to scold her. Unlike the rest of Paris, it seemed that the entire building fell silent as soon as the clock struck 10.
So, she was surprised to notice someone standing in the hall. She'd seen her before, a pretty blonde, always well-dressed. A neighbor too. And she looked... hurt? There was definitely blood on her shirt. Had she been mugged?
"Are you ok?" she asked, hurrying towards the other, "what happened?"

Jess Watches // Sat 20 Apr // Day 206 Synopses & Favourite Scenes & Poll
Moving (with L) Ep 20 Graduation Day (Finale)
Parents and children fight to protect each other. Will this repeated war ever end?
I adored that we actually got to see the aftermath of all the fighting. That all the mains are alive and thriving and living their lives more peacefully. I think eps 1-7 focusing on the teens should've aired alternatively with 8-14 focusing on the adults (eg. 1, 8, 2, 9) to intertwine both timelines to help maximize the effectiveness of the overall story. But otherwise I really enjoyed this. I'll miss these characters I've become rather fond of <3
Star Trek: Prodigy 1x11 Asylum
At the edge of Federation space, the crew applies for asylum at a comm relay outpost, only for their starship to reveal its shocking true purpose.
Rok sure was one confused lady trying to do all those scientific equations quickly before they got blasted. She did amazingly well under pressure. I know off-screen they gave her the squishiest group hug.
Killing Eve (Remix) [x] 3x08 Shove That in Your Fanny Pack and Eat it
3x07 - Villanelle and Dasha travel to Aberdeen to kill an American businessman at a golf country club. V hits Dasha over the head with a golf club and leaves her for dead. Eve tracks V's credit card and kills Dasha by standing on her chest. As V's train leaves, she looks out the window to see Eve on the platform. She calls Eve.
V with a hoarse Scottish accent (because Jodie had a cold) paired with her Grinch-inspired outfit is still an iconic V look. And Eve being so determined in her pursuit, that single-minded focus on finding V, that release of fully embracing her darkness and killing Dasha. Also, I ended with V going to see Gunn from 406 as it fit nicely here as she was already in Scotland.

i dont like this season of killing eve </3
#society if killing eve wasn't made by an entirely different group of people every season#it's alright it's not bad per se but this whole season i feel has been filled with unnecessary scenes#like i love pam but i still don't understand why she's here at all and same goes for yusuf#like okay. this whole time we've seen everyone get killed off so eve and villanelle can be together right#so there's less and less storylines aside from villanelle & eves bc... everyone dies. the narrative closes in on v/e more and more#because there's no other choice! it's a metaphor for how mainly eve has destroyed her whole life for villanelle#and thats how it was always going to end-- v&e alone and everyone dead because of them#so adding so many new characters and a very big new storyline misses the point completely imo#today's episode did manage to capture that claustrophobic feeling very well but it shouldve been the main theme of the season#it's a shame because season 1 through 3 were very good#personal

“Clever girl,” noted Hannibal, amused.
Her little quip was not lost on him, and yet he found himself excusing her rudeness again. Perhaps she was so entertaining it made it easier to tolerate the foul mouth and the insolence.
“I eat rude people, Oksana,” he still corrected. This was really just a question of semantics. But it mattered, when you ate people, “do you find me rude?”
He was many terrible things. A bad, bad man. A killer. But rude? Never.
“I suppose it affects my personality,” he indulged, as a reward, perhaps, for her bluntness. He enjoyed that she asked such bold question while avoiding the meat in her plate, “but not in that sense. What I do, what I eat, it’s about power, Oksana. You know a thing or two about power, don’t you?”
After all, she could wrinkle her nose and grimace at the food all she wanted, she was still the one hunting it.
“There are better cuts than other,” mused Hannibal, yet again indulging her curiosity -but not too directly, “just like with any other meat. Some things are better than other. I’m partial to the cheek. A delicacy. I’ll make you try it some day.”
@hvbris // & HANNIBAL
“Which cheek?”
She was speaking with her mouth full again, though she made a note of it as she looked at him. Making a point to finish swallowing when she moved onto her next question.
“The face? Or...you know...”
It was hardly the kind of genteel conversation that Doctor Lecter was used to, but he didn’t have much of a choice, did he? Right now, she was all he’d got. She could imagine the kind of fancy parties he liked to host, back before his little accident.
“Maybe you should get like a new hand or something. Oh!” She gasped, eyes widening with childish delight. “You could get a hook! That would be so cool! And you could still grab things with it, right? And then you have a weapon all the time. It’s great. Would that even be legal?”

Killing eve is a great show and I love villanelle but eve has been reduced to a side character this season, a season where her closest friend got murdered and she lost her husband after he was mentally tormented and then brutally attacked and we’ve barely seen her deal with any of it because the writers decided to focus on villanelle and literally every other character instead of eve who is supposed to be the LEAD.
#this is the weakest season and im annoyed that last year eve was reduced to her obsession with V and this season reduced a minor character#villanelle might be my fave but eve is the main character and should be treated like one#eve polastri#killing eve#sandra oh

@hqrkness said: “Yeah, that death’s on you.” ( to villanelle ) McElroy Ask Memes
"I grabbed his tie but how do I know you didn’t make those doors close faster than normal?” That man and his Gucci suit had it coming, strangled to death by Villanelle when she grabbed his unfortunate tie. The descending elevator had finished the job. She had used this method before but last time the elevator had been going up and she was curious to see what would happen if it were going down. It was the same result. A dead man in a suit.
“Besides, we were thinking the same thing: that he was a little shit.” She leaned back in her seat and took a sip of coffee, mulling over Agatha’s magic/superpowers. It was hard to imagine a satisfying kill using magic. Throwing a person against the wall or strangling them from across the room was too impersonal, there was no creativity “Do you ever get your hands dirty?”
#hqrkness#v would use magic to pull pranks and make life easier asjfkshd#villanelle: ask#villanelle verse: main#villanelle#ask#message

It was surprise more than horror that had stopped Deirdre right in her tracks. Standing there in a bright pink bikini, she looked at Richard, then the woman with the screwdriver. The scene was far too familiar, though Deirdre’s mother was always more neat. If the girl was used to death, she wasn’t used to so much blood.
Eyes like a deer in headlights, she wondered why murder kept following her around. Even here, in Richard’s fancy villa, even far from her mother’s claws, men fell like flies around her. Perhaps she was bad luck.
The threat almost flew in over her head, though it finally registered after a while. “I won’t scream,” she croaked, sounding as young as she was, for once.
Maybe this was it, then? Was this woman going to shove the screwdriver right in her chest anyway? And Deirdre would die right here, next to fucking Richard Blackwell. Gross, horrible Richard Blackwell. With his big cigars, Rolex watches and wandering hands.
The thought was so unbearable, so horrifying, that Deirdre realized at long last that she was in danger. Self preservation was hard, when mommy dearest was a never-ending threat. She rose dainty little hands in the air, glittery nails shimmering in the sun. Deirdre knew how to look like prey. Innocent and stupid. A tremble in her lower lip, eyelashes fluttering over sparkly blue eye-shadow. Just a dumb girl, how dangerous could she be, right?
“Don’t kill me,” she pleaded absurdly, “I won’t say anything, ok? And no one will miss him anyway.” She couldn’t die here, not with him.
@hvbris // & DEIRDRE Villanelle examined the girl before her- and she was a girl, barely out of whatever counted for school in this stupid country. She held the screwdriver tightly, a serious threat, but then relaxed her grip a little. Just enough to turn the tool around and around in her hand casually.
“How old are you? Because I don’t think you’re old enough for this game. Is that why you’re here, huh? He liked little girls?”
It took everything in her not to spit in disgust, but she had at least some manners. Even if the guy deserved to have his bleeding corpse spat on. In fact, Villanelle looked down at him, this once powerful man with all his money and his sleaze, thinking he could do whatever he wanted. So easily distracted by a pair of tits.
Look at him now.
The older woman shoved hard with her boot, and then a second time, until Blackwell rolled over into the pool like a dead seal. Her gaze returned to Deirdre sharply.
“Who’s gonna miss you?”

I have roughly 9,563 questions about season 4. Here are 20 in no particular order…
1. What the hell happened on that bridge?
2. Why does Eve seem indifferent to Villanelle’s very existence?
3. Why did they make V “kill” a cat?
4. How did V’s almost death not wake Eve up to a single thing about her feelings after all that screaming no no no?
5. Why does Eve give one single fuck about the 12?
6. Why no murder wives season? They didn’t have to be *together* the whole time, but they should’ve been together.
7. How come eps 7 & 8 were completely different to the whole season?
8. Who are the main characters of this show?
9. What was the point of any of the new characters?
10. Why the slap?
11. How does V even know where Eve is staying?
12. Who wrote this stupid ass double meaning dialogue?
13. Why the mean ass stripping in 403?
14. Who cut the CGI budget to $11?
15. How come a sniper couldn’t get a decent hit when V was standing out in the open but managed multiple underwater shots from an unknown vantage point in dirty water AT NIGHT??
16. How come it seemed like V was an annoying kid sister to Eve instead of a formidable assassin / whole series love interest?
17. Why have V & E hooking up with other people till the last minute?
18. Why Pam if not to save V?
19. Why does Hugo exist?
20. Why “I owe you a dare”?

Dear Mieczysław Stilinski
Does it trouble you that I know your full name? Or does it secretly enrapture you? Or could it be both? Troublesome yet exciting. I bet you think of me. Though of course you think about me. I am your object of current obsession, as you are of mine. Just different obsessions. Yet you attract me like a moth to a flame. Or a wolf to your flock of sheep.
I do hunger And I hunger greatly. For you? Perhaps. For your being and your sight? Definitely.
And yet you intrigue me. You're not an ordinary person, and I think some people know that when they know you. You're human and yet you're a mystery sometimes. A tasteful one. You're different. I like different. I like you. I'm a fan of your head and your dreams and your nightmares. That darkness that looks like a void-like colour. I hope to see you soon.
Yours truly. You know who.
#[ answered. — you called forth a dream ; you caught yourself a nightmare ]#[ v. main — the nightmare unleashed ]#( just thinking of killing eve again-- when villanelle secretly puts a gift in eve's house )#( and eve being selfishly and terrified and excited about it 'cos it was for her )#( so miecz finding this in his apartment. maybe scully pawing at it )

❝we all have secrets, villanelle. none of us are exactly how we appear, are we?❞ @toxicmalicex // nine perfect strangers starters
* * *
“Duh.” Came Villanelle’s blunt response, barely restraining the eye roll that proceeded it. Marisa Coulter was not exactly one of her favourite people, after all, and days that Villanelle couldn’t spend with Konstantin, where there was a glimmer of opportunity to goof off, were very boring.
She missed the old man’s ridiculous laugh already.
“You’d be a pretty shitty assassin if you were. Do you have a postcard for me? Or are you just here to check up on me? I don’t need a babysitter.”

Bingo.
Fish smiled and let out a playful chuckle at Villanelle’s comment, something a bit candid, just enough to boost the assassin’s ego. She wanted Villanelle flattered and happy. Unsuspecting.
“Oh, you’ll make me blush!”
A little wink before she averted her gaze, because how could she ever resist the charm of the knight in shining armor who had “rescued” her in Tuscany? The game was afoot, and Fish could feel the excitation of the hunt, like a shiver in the depth of her flesh.
“A lunch would be great! I was sitting there if you want,” she said, gesturing towards the restaurant’s terrace, “I heard the food is great. My treat!”
As she walked back to her seat, where her bag was still laying -the perfect american tourist backpack, with the Berlin guide sprawled on the table- she kept talking to Villanelle.
“I just arrived a few days ago! I’m really excited, I was going to visit the zoo after lunch!”
@imprvdente // & FISH
“I love the zoo!” She replied, perhaps sounding a little more enthusiastic than she intended to. But who didn’t love the zoo? It wasn’t like she got to go as a kid, but she’d been to plenty all over Europe as an adult.
And naturally, a predator was drawn to the other predators, eager to look at the big cats and stare into their golden eyes. Wondering what it would be like to watch them tear someone apart. So far, there hadn’t been any unlucky keepers during her visits.
Going with a cute girl would be even better. That little wink piqued Villanelle’s interest, grinning back at her as she slid herself into the opposite seat. She leaned forward right away, casually glancing over the map to see if she’d marked any places up, but also so she could be a little closer to her companion.
“So- did you miss me? Glad to see you made it here in one piece without me.”

The grieving process has started for me, it seems.
After watching episode 7, it’s getting real that the show is ending. I was very excited for today’s epiode but I feel like I wasn’t able to fully enjoy it, because I kept feeling it was the penultimate one, so a part of me wanted to skip most things that didn’t have to do with Villanelle or Eve, which was...quite a lot.
I have this sense of restlessness. I don’t think it was a bad episode. On the contrary. But a good penultimate one? Not season penultimate, but series penultimate? That’s different. So it felt lacking in that sense, and I know it’s because my main focus are Villanelle and Eve, as it’s always been. Can’t feel guilty or bad about it. They are the soul of it all.
I’ll have to try and not think too much of the show now because otherwise these 7 days will never pass! Oh god, it’s really ending!
Anyway LOVED Eve in the episode, loved the karaoke scene and the Martin scene, loved V’s reaction to cavewoman Gunn (didn’t love the kissing - The only kissing I could care about is V and E’s). Also loved Konstantin’s death (while hating it at the same time).
I have never been so hungry - almost desperate - for Villaneve content like I am now. Never. Episode 8...are you ready to deliver?

I didn’t think I was too bothered by how shitty s4 of Killing Eve was because I wanted to live in the land where Villanelle faked her death and everything was domestic and happy and unrealistic but the more I sit with it, the more shitty the ENTIRE season was.
We start s3 with Eve angry at V for the shooting, E is pissed, still in some way trying to get to the 12 because of Kenny and Niko. V is realising she doesn’t want to be this person anymore, struggling with killing etc and wanting to be better.
We spend the season bringing them together, E accepting that V is part of her, whatever their souls are made of, theirs are made of the same, that kind of thing, and an acceptance of that. If we had the kiss at the end of s3, it would have made just as much sense as it does in s4.
S4 is basically a repeat of s3 with different background characters, a couple of kisses and killing off the main character seconds before the end. We start S4 in exactly the same way, with no explanation as to why E is so pissed at V. We then spend the season waiting on Eve to accept herself and Villanelle and then they come together in the final episode.
There’s no story development, no character development and we end season 4 with the same questions as season 3, who are the 12, who killed Kenny, etc.
It’s an entire waste of time, the whole last season. That’s the worst part.
They destroyed Carolyn's character entirely, having her kill V was just unnecessary, disappointing and honestly, not even in character, especially after their earlier scenes.
S3 was a way better ending than S4 and those few minutes of E and V in the finale don’t make up for what was a complete waste of everyone’s time.
#you're supposed to develop the plot team#thats the whole point#s4 was a complete waste of everyones time#killing eve#villanelle#eve#killing eve season four#killing eve spoilers#jodie comer#sandra oh#its okay carolyn i know you're on our side
