#villain agent 4

Okay so considering Winnie (my V4) and your V8 kinda have similar motives (Winnie wants to help LANCE, my replacement for Order, make a new world so she can have the respect the thinks she deserves and have Marie love her) (yeah I've been polishing up my OCs' lore lately, which involved almost completely reworking my OCs' Side Order story), I think Winnie would want to help V8 with resurrecting your Agent 4 and try to convince LANCE to give V8 a place similar to her's in his new world where V8 could also have what she wants (which, of course, is to have your Agent 4 back).

I might do some doodles of this scenario later (⁠◠⁠‿⁠・⁠)⁠—⁠☆

Villain agent 8 au: UPDATED

(this is my silly little idea for a villain agent 8, i have been talking to @flamingskull28 about it and he even gave me a couple of idea's for the au so major thanks to him)[also thanks to @lbodraws for some inspiration and @joltthewolf for making a v8 edit)

During the fight with smollusk, smollusk in an effort to turn the tides of battle aims for an weakened agent 4, which ends of killing her. .This sends agent 8 into a frenzy which leads to her killing smollusk in a fit of grief.

After escaping the memverse agent 8 locks herself away as she is unable to comprehend four's death. Pearl and Marina try to reach out to agent 8 but 8 kept pushing them away. Pearl and Marina feel like failures of parents after everything is over.

Marina and pearl are the ones who have to deliver the bad news to the NSS, all of them are distraught but this news hits marie the hardest alongside eight, as marie always viewed four as their child . However while marie accepted and grieved fours death, agent 8 was unable to process it. Eight could not accept four's death and just kept denying and denying. Agent 8 took an orange inkling plushie four gave her and began talking to it. She talked to it like agent 4 and held it constantly with her making her crazy and further denying fours death.

Until she had an epiphany, the memverse had the power to mess with souls, eight began to wonder what else the memverse could do.

This line of thinking brought her to wonder if she could use the memverse to bring back agent 4. She brought this idea up to marina however she told eight that she believed eight should accept four's death and to try to move on, unsure if resurrection could even work. This caused eight to go behind marinas back to try and execute her plan. 8 begins to study souls in hopes of finding a way to bring four back. This causes damage to the souls she's studying and makes marina get involved. Eight falling into madness didn't care, all she cared about was getting four back.

Eight brainwashed marina to get her out of the way and to get her help. 8 also kinda blamed marina for fours death for creating the memverse and smollusk in the first place. Parallel cannon in this au is eights first attempt to bring four back. However instead of resurrecting agent 4, it made a clone of her. PC feels useless and rejected as their sole purpose was to be love/ be a lover and the person they were supposed to love rejected them.

Marina wasn't the only person to get brainwashed. agent 8 was still angry and wanted someone to take their anger out on so she turn to shiver.

shortly before the events of splat 2 agent 4 and shiver were at their worst mentally. they were both 14 and dealing with a lot and not dealing with it well. so when they both met they jumped into a relationship without thinking.

They both had attachment and abandonment issues. So when the other partner would spend too much time away with friends or even a day away from the other, the partner "left behind" would get very upset, usually resulting in an argument. they both did this as they were co-dependent on each other.

it was only after a really bad argument did agent 4 leave. I left shiver feeling really guilty as she did love four and still had feelings for her.

so when she saw agent 4 during splat 3 she wanted to get back with her. But she saw agent 8 as a cheap copy of her and always tried to start drama with her.

so agent 8 brainwashed shiver as a form a revenge for her past actions( even though her and agent 4 were equally bad back then) and basically turned her into a second parallel cannon and was assigned to guard marina while the real PC was made to guard her.

Eight's attempts to bring four back is causing four pain in the afterlife. Four even temporarily contacts eight to tell her to stop because shes hurting her. However eight does not listen deciding four doesn't know what's good for her.

Eight eventually discovers a way to bring four back. In order to bring a person back it requires hundreds of souls to be sacrificed in order to bring a person back. This ritual is very painful for the person being brought back.

It ends up being marie who has to climb the tower to take down eight as see can relate to being hit very hard by fours death. she is accompanied by callie drone.

Things are mostly the same but some things are different. Mainly PC and the finale boss.

Marie would finding PC in a state of sadness. They still try to fight but they are clearly in pain. Marie decides to take PC with her and PC opens up to Marie about how they feel, they feel rejected and alone. They feel useless and afraid and it breaks Marie's heart since four had similar feelings before they died.

Marie and PC's relationship to be similar to Pearl and steven's earlier relationship, even having a "WHY WON'T YOU LET ME DO THIS FOR YOU ROSE?!" type moment. PC has a journey of self-discovery while Marie learns that PC is their own person and more than just a clone.

agent 8 's fight would be a mix of soul of sectonia and order.(including a phase where 8's head pops off) agent 8 would start out small and the first phases would be hard but manageable. But when she turns big mode you are going to have start praying as you will have to deal with brutal attacks and a difficult envoirment.

There are 3 possible endings for this au

Good ending: marie takes 8 down and drags her our of the memverse. Eight ends up getting help to process four's death. fairly simple.

Resurrected good ending: eight is successful in bringing four back but is still taken down. four is mortified by what her lover has done. hundreds of people are now souless and she was dead and brought back. four breaks up with eight which breaks her even more(she does get better)

Resurrected bad ending: eight brings back four and kicks the other agent's out of the memverse. She creates and ai to wipe her and fours memories every couple of years and to create adventures for her and four to enjoy. She and four go on adventures for a while unaware of everything that happened. until the NSS enter the memverse and stop the temporarily ai and bring back four and eights memories. 8 and 4 are overwhelmed by the past. Eight is horrified by what shes done while four is trying to comprehend the fact they died and came back to life. they have the option to either go to the real world or continue living the lie

Agent 1: "Is this where they've been the last few months!"

Mr. Grizz: "Always keep your best assets close. That's one of the basic rules of business."

Agent 2: "Agent 3, make sure to bring Four back to Earth with you, whatever it takes!"

Agent 2: "Oh, and the Captain said the same thing."

Agent 4 as a hypothetical boss for Alterna. It was always odd to me that we never had a fight against Grizzco employees, or enemies with Grizzco weapons, despite Alterna being the story mode featuring Mr. Grizz.

More Vill4in AU

Some more random info for this AU that I gotta write down before I forget it-

Four becomes corrupted after Eights first run of the spire. How and why no one knows. Marina suspects Four tried to break free from Order but by doing so corrupted her own code within the memverse during the process.

Order does not revert into Smollusk until the third spire run, when that happens- Four forceably removes Smollusk, replacing it with an AI copy of herself at the top floor.

Pearl, Marina and Acht are perma locked inside the memverse with no way out, Eight can exit however it is extreamly taxing physically and mentally on him.

Eight suffers from mild grey scaling when outside the memverse, not enough to incapacitate him but enough that everyday functions are gruelling.

Grey scaling has taken over the whole of Inkopolis Square and is leaking into Inkopolis Plaza, at current Splatsville is a safe zone.

Within Splatsville Callie and Neo have set up a sort of triage base to try and help those affected by the grey scaling, one such affected being Marie who was hit hard by the grey scaling effects.

Callie is unaffected by the grey scaling due to Eight having cleared the spire with her pallet first- she is both thankful and conflicted with that.

Kay only barely escaped being grey scaled due to working a case outside Inkopolis at the time.

Captain and Kay (who has joined the NSBS as Agent 5) are both in a race against time to find Four, the real physical Four before her grey scaling plans get out of control and her corruption goes beyond the point of repair.

Due to Captain sanitization injuries, Kay is usually out alone tracking down Four who he may have found a few times...

Okay poll time; need some help deciding on what sort of ending I should have for my Agent 4.

So, in my OCs' canon, 4 gets abandoned by the rest of the New Squidbeak Splatoon towards the beginning of the events of S3. She already wasn't as respected as the rest of the NSS members, so upon hearing that April and her friends beat up Mr. Grizz without her, 4 loses it and silently quits the NSS. When Inkopolis Square got taken over, my 4 decided to enter one of the wormholes surrounding the Square and enters the Memverse and eventually becomes the leader of the Parallel Canons after falling victim to Order, who sympathies with 4 and let her keep her free will as long as she remained loyal to it. Or something like that. Her story, like the rest of Your Side of Order is still in the works.

EDIT (same day I posted this): I'll update this post again after the results come in later and maybe reblog this once I get to the chapter in Your Side of Order where the Side Order crew encounters the Parallel Canon so bookmark this post or whatever

EDIT 3-13-24: made a seperate post detaling 4's relation to the parallel canons if that helps y'all decide what ending you want for her.

EDIT 3-18-24: The results are in, everyone! Agent 4 will be saved (in one way or another) in Your Side of Order! Since a lot of people also wanted to kinda have it both ways, I will incorperate that into 4's story in Your Side of Order. I really liked @many-things idea for 4's ending so I wanna go with something like that for 4 (hopefully this actually tagged them since a bunch of users here use many-things as part of their usernames; @many-things if you're reading this edited version of the post: hi :D) (if any other many-things person is reading this sorry I tagged the wrong person)

With the world saved from Mr. Grizz, the New Squidbeak Splatoon is left with nothing to do... until a new threat rises from an old friend.

Agent 4 has been abandoned and forgotten, and so has a portion of the Octarain army, leading to an unstable alliance. 4 becomes the Commander of the Octarain army, and convinces them all that life on the surface isn't worth it.

Instead, they are trapped in a place designed to be perfect for them.

//Heyy I'm not dead- Sorry for the unannounced absence I've been playing Genshin non-stop since 4.6 came out and never left myself any time to do any asks which... I still haven't gotten to yet so bare with me cause my brain is still very on playing Genshin rn so... as a kind of apology have an AU version of Agent Four in her villain era or "Vill4in" as I'm dubbing it.

//Basically this is a version of Four who never fully broke free from being Parallel Canon. She's become this almost- manic caricature of herself. Now fuelled with an obsession to bring the world to its knees, allowing Order and its grey scaling to run rampant to ironically cause a chaotic wasteland fighting for free will.

//A few other notes: -Due to her brain being basically scrambled from the brainwashing gone wrong, Four's memories of her past and the other agents is hazy, vague or down right gone. -The shades on her head are not actual hypno shades but replicas- since they are one of the few things left in her memories and so are essentially a comfort item to her. -Her tentacles are long because she doesn't have someone to cut them for her anymore...

1st of all, beautiful art, 10/10.

2nd, I'm overjoyed to see that others agree that the best course of action for Agent 4 (arc-wise) would be for them to end up being a high-ranking Grizzco employee. An employee with a fancy-shmancy title, perhaps. I propose: The Foremin. You know, like foreman, but min as in salMINid + fun play-on-words; fore/four. I don't know, I like the word foreman, but I don't want it to be gendered.

I am a massive fan of villain Agent 4, and them pairing up with Grizzco is my perfect match, killing three birds with one stone. Agent 4 gets to be an antagonist, we get payoff on Lil' Judd running Grizzco, and we get to witness Grizzco from the outside, at it's hellish capitalism, forced to fight an overwhelming corporate force that is backed by not just the entire world , but by someone who you used to call a friend.

This was always an annoyance for me, but even though Mr. Grizz was the bad guy of Splatoon 3's story mode, it only ever felt like you were fighting Mr. Grizz personally, as an individual, not Grizzco as a corporate entity (which is, if you as me, infinitely more cool, the fuzzy octolings/octarians should've been Grizzco employees instead). Agent 4 being an antagonist working for Grizzco gives us that.

God, I love this idea.

uh so I can't draw but I did this instead (yes I know it's not the greatest quality, sorry)

4 has purple scars around her eyes from the hypnoshades shattering

She has those white lines as left over corruption from side order

4 wears the cape one because she thinks it's cool two to taunt 3 and three because 8 likes to wrap herself in it sometimes and 4 thinks that's adorable (the cape in longer than what I drew

The armor and shoes, she kept after getting hypnotized

8 has some white lines from getting beat down by 4 in side order (it slightly corrupted her form)

She found this outfit while shopping for the first time with 4. It was one of their first memory's together, so the clothing means a lot to her.

She sees the golden toothpick as a symbol of her strength and as her power over 3, she always shoved it in their face when they would start boasting about their strength
