Vilja was honestly the biggest shock of the cycle to me (besides Robert). I expected her to suck. I liked her look to be honest, but it didn’t stand out to me as much as other girls like Sofia and Anniina. She was too unique looking if that makes sense, like someone stretched some of her features out too far on the Sims, mainly her nose and lips. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing but too unique can be a curse in the modeling world (look at Montell from HNTM C10, insanely unique looking but it’s hard to find jobs, even if he’s really successful at it). It didn’t help that she didn’t have a photo to pick from the first week for no reason beside the judges having a fun laugh over it and even with that, her performance on set seemed ok with the literal 2 seconds of footage that we see from it. She did have a huge makeover where she got blonde which really sparked more interest to her. However, things went downhill quick when her candy shot was considering quite underwhelming by the judges, even with an endearing performance on set, sending her to her first bottom 2 by the judges. However, after that spark in the ass with her bottom 2, she seemed to have kick things into high gear. I loved her jewelry shot despite some better shots that should’ve been picked and despite the weak week, I liked her partner shot because it had some finesse and style to it. Her personal best came with the campaign week, where she showcased her unique look while also being versatile with her (terrible) partner. Her next 2 weeks were a slip down for her, although she did a FCO out of me in the treadmill week, it’s still a weak shot compared to her triumphs in the middle of the cycle and that wedding shot… yeah. Still, she surprised me a lot since I wasn’t a fan of her plus the lack of a week 1 photo. I can give her this, she was done dirty by the judges thanks to their photo selection because as shown, she clearly would have much better photos than the ones actually picked. A prime example of this would be jewelry shoot, where she clearly had better shots that were shown rather than the one picked by the judges. Whatever the case is, I enjoy how she often take risks during her shoots, she can look pretty at times but her willingness to make a memorable photo is very admirable. I think Vilja’s time in the show ended in the perfect spot, she was a memorable and very talented model but compared to Sofia, Jerry, and Juuso, she was lacking behind them. Still, she at least proved me wrong and became the surprise of the show for me, plus, she just recently got her bachelor degree so good on her for focusing on school!

3. Vilja and Robert’s Westerback Catalogue (Proposal)

For the Westerback photos, I’ll mainly be highlighting one photo so this section doesn’t get crowded. For this entry, this is mainly for Vilja’s efforts. Robert is good at playing a sidepiece at least. Anyways, Vilja looks seductive and nailed her role as “the confident woman”. I like her cheeky smile and the side glance to the camera. She also connected to Robert as much as she could. This is one of my favorites out of the overall sets in general and really shows how much Vilja had improved over her time in the show.

10. Vilja’s Kultajousi Jewelry

I prefer the different take Vilja went for. Rather than going for romantic or sexy, Vilja is more cheerful and jokey. I adore the smirk she has and the happy look in her eyes is a nice element to the shot so the emotion doesn’t feel awkward. I also like the contrast of the happy face to the reserved body language, the hands covering her body looks natural yet adds the cheeky factor of the shoot. Vilja really hit her points here.

1. Vilja

Unlike Vilja’s FCO where she had stiff competition, this one is just kinda by default. It’s a very weak week overall so I guess I like Vilja’s out of default. She looks pretty, her eyes are very pretty but she squinted them way too hard personally. The lips also tick me off, it may be the way it’s open and how tense  her lips feels but it looks really off as the result. I’m not a fan of the hand sign on the eye but hey, if it fits the ad, then it works for me I guess. It’s one of Vilja’s weaker shots in the competition but since it got a FCO from me, it really shows the quality of this week.

1. Vilja

Honestly, Vilja’s whole set is pretty good, thus why she’s above Sofia and Jerry, who has 2 eeh photos and 2 great photos. That’s how she got edged into my FCO because for the longest time, Vilja was my SCO but her final shot changed my mind.

Her first shot is my favorite of the set. Mainly, I love the pose. She’s holding onto Robert yet taking all the attention from him. Not only that, Vilja’s backbend adds a great shape to her body and her profile is a great angle for her.

I like the different approach to the car shot. She looks a lot more curious than romantic. The lean away from the car was executed perfectly and I dig for the graceful hand on the window. I wish she closed her mouth but I still dig the face nonetheless, there’s a great romantic in her eyes and the curiosity of her overall face is lovely. 

The next 2 are a mixed bag. She turned her body way too far in the full body, thus ruining the magic of it for me. However, her proposal is amazing! It’s a shocker to see it coming from her, Vilja really turned it up with the romantic expression and cockiness in her face. I also love how she spread herself out on Robert.

Vilja’s is just an overall good package of photos, though it was only the last one that blew me away. It’s a strong set though and she did miles better than her partner, that’s for sure!

6. Vilja

Vilja and Roosa really dropped the ball this week and it’s somewhat maddening to me that people seem to like these shots. Vilja is the least aggravating out of the two, mainly because I like the placement of the lip balm to the camera. It’s cheeky but really creative, it feels gentle. However, her face is a big letdown. The eyes look fearful and the smile feels really fake. It’s a shame since I love the styling of her hair and the angle of her face, but the expression just destroys any potential for me. It’s a weak showing after 2 good weeks.

2. Vilja

Vilja took a lot of risks during the shoot and it really favored her since her co-star did not work with her whatsoever (lol). I like the shape of her body. She spread herself out well and I really like the action of her shot. I especially like the legs and the jump action. I do find the arm holding onto Henry awkward but the main issue I have with the shot is her face. I’m not a fan of the open mouth once again and the paranoid eyes glaring into the camera isn’t the best look. Still, her connection to Henry and the pose got her up to the top 2.

6. Vilja

Can I just say that her makeover was just genius, the blonde looks amazing on her! Now, since we finally have a photo of Vilja, we can judge her fairly now. Her pose is one of the best in the group. I adore her confident stance and how she widen herself well enough to show off the cape. Her legs too go on for miles. So, neck down, the pose is amazing, love it. However, her face is a big step down for me. It’s her damn mouth. Her eyes are quite nice albeit unfocused but that tight mouth is killing me. It’s a good start for Vilja but still a tad disappointed, a very undeserved bottom 2 by the judges though since they seem to like her on set.

Just… what the fuck. Her elimination was sad but made sense, she bombed hard this week and could not keep up with the top 2 (3).

5. Vilja

I actually really like how different Vilja’s shot is compared to the rest of the models. It’s very cheeky. Obviously, I can see why the judges were iffy on this shot but I for one really like it. The pose is different from the rest, she’s hiding herself away from the camera by covering herself. I like it a lot honestly, it adds a lot of vulnerability to the shot. Her face is a mixed bag for me but for now, I love it. The smirk is funny to me, I love it for how unique it is but at the same time, it can ruin a shot. I frankly love it right now because she looks cheeky and confident. It’s a different shot, I used to hate it but it’s been growing on me as of recent and slowly have been climbing up the ranks up to my top 5, which is a whole other league compared to the bottom 5.
