i finished arcane i think im going to be sick (positive)
#the fool speaks#it was a lot of hit and miss for me but when it hit it HIT#i had to pause at one point but...the expressions i was making....u had 2 be there#ekko and jinx were my favorites by far. i fully expected ekko to be sidelined and im glad i was wrong#viktors arc was very viscerally uncomfortable for me this season and thats where a lot of misses* came from but....the ending.....#thats where i had to pause. i understand now. THEY MAKE ME SICK <3#my feelings on it are basically summed up by that one post thats like 'the real tragedy of arcane is that they all have to become LoL#characters at the end'#i wished for a little more at the very end of things...more of a feeling of closure#i already knew various critiques of the shows politics so i dont really have anything to say about that because i went into the show knowin#becaue at the end of the day as pretty as this is....its LoL...lol#<- i think i litearlly said this exact thing in my season 1 retrospective#*i have extremely mixed feelings on his arc. i think the ending made up for it but i wished for a little more explanation and closure#i felt very confused with the whole lead up to everything.... like it was fun and made me sick#but i just kinda felt like 'what the hells going on' all the way through it and got momentarily distracted by yaoi#its one of those things again where i feel like im missing something because i have not and will not play the game#or because i bingewatched again when i said i wouldnt but i needed to feed the hyperfixation before it faded#i already feel like i forgot a bunch of stuff from season 1....#im begging shows to give me more space to let ideas sink in instead of giving me information overload....#i think that actually sums up a lot of my problems now that i think of it#theres a lot of characters and stories that tie into each other crammed into 2 9-ep seasons....#so i get an explanation of magic and then boom onto the next thing and i can barely remember what was just said to me#if you read this far i love you for entertaining my thoughts.#always feels like no one reads these esp when they're long... but maybe someone is out there reading this
