#vic is the love of travis’s life

i’ve seen quite a few terrible takes that travic are codependent. they are not codependent. travis and vic were so alone growing up that if they have the choice to not be alone, they’re taking it. vic is and has always been helping travis and his progression through his grief. travis saved her. she tells theo in 4x08 that he’s a part of her. it makes sense that she didn’t want to just leave and not have him around every day. there’s a difference between codependency and just wanting someone, in this case A LIFE PARTNER, around. barrett and jay didn’t fight so hard to give us this endgame just for people to call it codependency. it was genuinely the only endgame that made any sort of sense for them.

Fight for us

Maya x Carina x reader
PLOT: A big fire makes the reader worry more about other people than about herself and her pacemaker is not very happy about it, as are her girlfriends.
TW: heart failure, pacemaker
You didn't think the week could get any worse than it was already going then, all of a sudden, you had received a call from Teddy Altman, your cardiologist, alerting you to the fact that it was time to change the batteries in your pacemaker and that the latter was exhibiting some malfunctions that she definitely wanted to check. You sigh, shrugging your shoulders with the intent to shrug off that phone call before sipping your second cup of coffee. And to think that today is your day off and you are already stressed.
“Bambina, that's decaf right?”
Carina walks up to you and kisses you on the lips, biting your lip and looking at you with a look you know very well.
“No, I would definitely say it's not. You know it's not good for you y/n and besides, move that phone; it needs to be at least six inches from the pacemaker.” You sigh, rolling your eyes and shaking your head, but before Carina can scold you again, both yours and her phone ring. That's never a good sign, never.
“Dr. DeLuca”
“Pamedic Y/n”
And if the week had already seemed like crap to you, the words coming out of your boss's mouth only dangerously dash all your hopes for improvement. You and Carina end the call at the same time and then, after a moment of silence, finally finding the courage to speak.
“There's a fire in Fall City’s forest, I've been asked about-”
“Me too,” you say, looking at your girlfriend and voicing the same thought that is haunting both of you.
“Have they called Station 19 yet?”
“I don't know Bella but since they've called all the available workers I think so.”
You exchange a worried look before you decide to pull Carina into a hug.
“She will be fine love, Maya is a fighter and will always come back to us. Let's go save some lives now.”
........................................................…………………..
You are treating a patient's burns when you see Maya enter the tent where both you and Carina are treating patients. You finish bandaging Kelly, the girl in front of you, before quickly running into Maya's arms.
“Woah, hey, I didn't know they called you guys too.” Maya returns the hug, and although your girlfriend smells like soot, you bask in her scent before pulling away when you hear Carina join you.
You hear them talking but you don't really listen to what they're saying; you're tired, your body is telling you to take a break, and your heart, despite the pacemaker, is really acting up at the moment.
“Y/n, are you okay?”
You realize you're rubbing your hand right over the pacemaker only when Carina stops you by locking your wrist.
“Hey, are you-”
Maya is stopped by a sweaty Warren who comes running into the tent.
“Bishop, we need you. The captain wants you with her.”
Maya gives you a look and then an apologetic smile before hurrying off but not without first giving Carina a look that was definitely not aimed at the Italian.
The two of you watch the blonde leave and just as Carina turns to you to speak, a dozen patients are rushed inside and the Italian is forced to put off questions until later.
You turn to Vic and Travis and run toward them.
“Thirty-nine-year-old female, under cardiac arrest two minutes. Performed two rounds of compressions on scene with no results.”
You nod, quickly slipping on another pair of gloves before replacing Vic, performing a new cycle of compressions yourself as Travis connects the patient to the monitors.
“Vic, get the defibrillator ready.”
You shouldn't exert yourself, you know you shouldn't with the pacemaker discharged, but you really have no choice when you have to choose between your life and a patient's. You swore it to yourself when you took this job.
“It's ready.”
Victoria says and you take the pads from her hands. If Carina saw you using it yourself, she would probably kick your ass and a good lecture in Italian; fortunately, she is very busy at the moment. Travis places the electrodes on the patient's body and then, after a glance, places the paddles on her chest.
“Clear!”
You feel the electricity leave the paddles and see the woman's body lying in front of you jerk before falling back onto the gurney. You will never get used to this feeling.
“There's a pulse, call heli-rescue and keep her monitored until it arrives.”
You say entrusting it to the only two free people in front of you who weren't strictly necessary in there, two residents.
You take off your gloves and throw them in the nearest trash can, quickly procuring another pair before moving on to the next patient then, like a bolt out of the blue, you notice Teddy Altman enter the tent and if your day was already sucking, it now gets drastically worse.
The faint hope that Teddy has not come exclusively for you quickly vanishes when the blonde doctor catches up with you with a look that is anything but friendly.
“Heyy Teddy, what's the best heart surgeon in Seattle doing here? Were you so bored at home that you wanted to help us out?”
You smile, cheekily, before turning to a new patient but before you can even ask her what's wrong, besides the obvious second-degree burn on her shoulder, the cardiac surgeon grabs your arm and drags you away, far enough away from prying ears.
“What the hell are you doing here? A woman came into the hospital and said there was a beautiful paramedic who saved her life and pulled her out of her panic attack by talking about her beautiful girls: an Italian doctor and a blond firefighter.”
You mentally curse yourself for being so specific, dammit. You would have saved yourself at firefighter or doctor, damn it, did you have to be so specific?
You open your mouth to speak, looking for any excuse in the meantime, but before you can formulate one, Teddy starts talking again.
“No no, y/n, don't even try. I had made it clear, no efforts until the checkup and then I find you literally on the biggest fire in years performing CPR?!”
The blonde tries to keep a normal tone even though, from the look on her face, she probably wants to strangle you with her own hands.
“Teddy, look, I know we're friends and you're my cardiologist but you have to understand that I'm also doing my job here. I'm a paramedic and I have to take care of other people's health.”
“I understand that y/n but you won't save anyone when your heart collapses and it will if you don't get checked right away. I came here just for you, I had to ask Bailey's permission and don't think Miranda will let you get away with this recklessness of yours.”
You sigh, moving a lock of hair from your face and thinking about the long lecture Miranda Bailey, who is like a mother to you, will give you as soon as your slender body ends up in front of her judgmental eyes. You're screwed.
“Oh come on Teddy, couldn't you have said some shit to her? Besides, aren't you bound by attorney-client privilege?”
“Well, sure. Or at least we are until the patient turns out to be a danger to himself and-”
The cardiac surgeon's tone of voice rises to such an extent that the speech you are giving is heard by people who should not have heard a single word, such as your very protective Italian girlfriend.
“Hey, Bella is everything okay here? Teddy, hi, did they call you too?”
Carina girds your hips protectively and you lean a little into her grip; the fatigue was already starting to set in before Teddy's visit and now it's only getting worse.
“No, they didn't call me too but I'm here for a patient of mine.”
The Italian observes the look the blonde gives you and it doesn't take her long to realize that you are the patient.
“Y/n, why did Teddy come here for you? Is something wrong with the pacemaker?”
You want to talk, really, tell the truth and face her stern look and a long, long lecture about how you don't take care of yourself but all your attention is diverted to a firefighter, you don't recognize him since he's not from Station 19, who runs inside the tent and talks loudly to Chief Ross.
“Chief, Bishop and Herrera are stuck in a circle of fire and we can't get the flames under control.”
Although there is no shortage of noise in the tent, both you and Carina hear those words perfectly and in less than a second run toward the two.
“What the hell do you mean Maya is stuck? Why hasn't she been pulled out already!”
Carina screams, Italian slipping off her tongue as she does every time she is gripped by a strong emotion, and you know that fear is the strongest and most destabilizing of all, along with love.
Your heart beats in your chest so loudly that you think it might as well pull off the pacemaker, the sounds resulting muffled as you cling to Carina's side to try to calm both her and your crazed heart.
“Apparently Lieutenant Bishop found herself trapped in a circle of fire while she and Herrera were trying to rescue a civilian. We managed to get Herrera out but it was too late for Bishop...now we are trying to transport as much water as we can but they are in a spot we can't reach with trucks and-”
“Damn it, get Bishop out of there at the cost of filling buckets and climbing that damn mountain. Is that clear?”
Chief Ross yells and the fireman jerks before nodding and hastily exiting. Then, the woman turns to the two of you.
“I know it's hard but I promise you we will get Maya out of there; she's a fighter, she'll be fine, I've never met a woman as tenacious as she is.”
The thought of not being able to see Maya again makes your heart even heavier than it already was; you and Carina hug each other tightly, the Italian drops a few tears, and you kiss her head repeatedly, the same way Maya does, caressing her back and suppressing the sharp pain in your chest you are feeling.
“Car..what if last night was the last time we saw her? I can't lose her, not Maya, not today, I can't, I can't,” you sob, the weight of what's happening is too much to keep inside and even though you know you should console Carina, the anguish you're feeling won't let you.
“It will be all right, she will be all right, I must be...” Carina wipes away her tears and then looks up at you, “I am pregnant Bella, it worked.”
And for a moment, for just a moment, you forget where you are and Maya's condition, for just a moment you think only of you, her and Maya holding a beautiful baby and you kiss her. You kiss her deeply and with such passion that if you were not in that situation you would already be on the bed. When you pull away, you run a hand over her stomach and gently caress it with a smile on your face.
“Hey little bean, we love you so much already, you don't know how long we've been waiting for you.”
Carina rests her hand on top of yours and her head on your chest. The adrenaline rush that the news caused you fades and the dull but constant pain in your chest returns like a bolt of lightning as does the fear for the life of the other woman in your life, the other mother of your child.
Teddy, who has been standing on the sidelines up to that point, approaches the two of you and gives you a sympathetic smile.
“I'm sure Firefighter Barbie is fine, she's strong and wants to get back to her girls.”
“Thank you Teddy.”
And then, you hear Carina realize again what you were talking about before you were interrupted.
You sigh and close your eyes for a few moments; Carina turns away from you, and when you open them again, you see her looking at you with the same look you've been dreading ever since you got the call.
“I hope you didn't come here knowing you had problems with your pacemaker.”
Your silence is worth more than confirmation for the Italian.
“O MIO DIO, I can't believe it y/n, you're so stubborn and an idiot I ahh non so cosa fare con voi due, sei mille volte peggio di Maya dannazione.”
You don't understand a single word she said but considering the fact that she is gesticulating…well, you are definitely in trouble.
Fortunately, however, even the wrath of an Italian vanishes when your girlfriend's colleague runs up to you and waves you to follow him and that's exactly what you do, temporarily forgetting what you were discussing.
“Jack, is Maya okay?” Carina says and when the firefighter does not turn to look at you, you fear for the worst: “Gibson, is Maya okay? Is she alive? Is she hurt? Damn it Jack! Answer me!” You yell, shoving the fireman until he turns toward you. His gaze gives nothing away and you are literally about to grab him by the throat but then a familiar face appears in your field of vision.
“Hey, I'm sorry to have worried you. I'm okay, I'm fine, I feared for the worst but the guys managed to pull both Andy and me out of there.”
Maya has an oxygen mask on her face and a blanket around her shoulders but except for that, she seems fine and you think you can squeal from relief. You pounce on her and stuff her face with kisses before letting Carina do the same.
“If you worry us like this again, I'll kill you myself, is that clear?”
“Crystal doc” Maya smiles, leaning over to kiss her before kissing you too.
“Fuck you Gibson” you huff, giving him a shove and he smiles, raising his hands as if to defend himself, “hey, I just wanted you to see it for yourself.”
The fireman walks away and leaves you alone; you rest your forehead on the Italian's back while she and Maya discuss what happened and how Andy is doing. You don't really listen to them; the pain in your chest with Jack's little joke has only gotten worse, and your breath shortens as tiny drops of sweat wet your back.
You have experienced this feeling before, when you had your first heart attack more than four years ago. You feel the pulse in your ears, you cannot even tell whether it is high or extremely low; despite your medical knowledge, you are not clear-headed enough at the moment to tell. You gradually lean more and more against the Italian so much that you almost risk dropping her.
“Car, call...call Teddy. Pacemaker” you whisper and then, everything goes dark as you fall to the ground with a thud.
Carina and Maya freeze for a few seconds before springing into action.
“Hey! We need help, help us!” Carina shouts, turning you over on your stomach and checking your heart rate.
“Maya, I'm going to get Teddy don't move from here, check her pulse and don't you dare take off that oxygen mask.”
The firefighter does not even have time to react that the doctor is already running away.
“Come on love, come on, stay with us.”
Maya massages your chest, checking your pulse and trying at the same time to stimulate your pacemaker. Carina returns in less than a minute, falling on her knees next to your body lying on the floor, followed by Vic, Travis and Teddy.
“Maya, give me her heart rate.”
“32 bpm.”
“Damn, her pacemaker stopped working, it's set on 50 bpm. We need to take her to the hospital and change the batteries or the pacemaker if necessary.”
“The fire has blocked the roads, we can only go to Eli-rescue but it left a while ago and will never be back in less than 40 minutes.” Travis says, looking at the doctor.
“You don't have forty minutes, you don't even have ten minutes.”
Teddy shakes his head, rubbing his forehead as he constantly checks your pulse on the monitor Victoria has diligently hooked you up to. Carina takes an oxygen tank and connects it to a mask that she places on your face, stroking your hair and leaving a kiss on your forehead.
“It will be okay Bella, we are here with you, you have to fight for us. Please.”
The Italian doctor's voice cracks and Maya promptly takes her into her arms, also stroking your hair.
“I have an idea but it is dangerous and I don't know if it will work .”
Maya and Carina cast a glance at each other and then nod.
“Do what you have to but bring her back to us, please.”
Teddy pulls out his stethoscope, auscultating your pulse.
“Montgomery, get the defibrillator.”
Carina and Maya stiffen and look at the monitor. Your heart is not beating above 30 bpm and your blood pressure is dangerously low and falling.
“Teddy, what do you want to do.”
Carina's voice trembles as her hand falls instinctively on your stomach; Maya notices but at the moment is more concerned about you than intrigued by her wife's gesture.
“With a jolt the pacemaker should restart and keep her alive until the hospital or at least I hope so, I only did it one other time in Afghanistan.”
“Did the patient survive?”
Teddy pauses, remaining silent for a few seconds as he applies the electrodes to your chest. Then, after a deep sigh, he turns to the two women kneeling over your dying body.
“No, it was too late for him.”
Carina runs a hand through her hair and then, grabs the blond fireman's hand.
“Maya, I need to tell you something I-”
“Clear!”
The Italian freezes, as does Maya's heart as they watch your body jerk and the terrifying flat line noise that is emitted from the monitor immediately after.
“Come on Bella, please.”
Maya removes her mask and leans over your forehead, leaving a kiss on your temple.
“Come on love, you can do it. Come back to us.”
Your heart starts beating again after one round of compressions from Teddy, and Maya and Carina burst into tears from relief praying that helicopter rescue will arrive in time.
..........................................................................
More than six hours pass before your eyes open and an annoying but familiar pain in your chest, just above the pacemaker, lets you know that you are still in the world of the living. Your hand reaches for the mask on your face but before you can pull it off, a hand stops you.
“Hey, no, you have to keep it on a little longer Bella.”
Carina leaves a kiss on your forehead, turning a small smile to you and intertwining your fingers.
“Welcome back love” Maya smiles at you. She still has her oxygen mask on and at the sight, your stomach knots.
“Are you okay? What are your oxygen levels?”
You sit up and reach toward the fireman; your gaze is so concerned that Maya strokes your cheek and grabs your hand to kiss your knuckles.
“I'm fine my love, I'm sorry for worrying the two women of my life, or three ,” the blonde's smile increases as she rests her hand on the Italian's stomach and your worried look is quickly replaced by a smile. “We're going to be moms.”
“The best ones.”
“Yes, although two of these three moms should learn to take better care of themselves. Did you understand y/n? It was stupid to ignore the device that helps your heart beat idiot”
“Yes, it was totally irresponsible of you” Maya nods, agreeing with Carina, before patting your leg lightly.
“Don't ever try something like that again, you are too important to us.”
Carina whispers and you notice she is holding back tears so you reach out and push her toward you, dropping her sitting on your lap.
“Oh and don't think this is the end of it, Bailey can't wait to give you a good talking to.”
“Shit, I'm screwed.”
“Yeah but not by us. No sex for two months after what you did.”
You pout and then playfully shove Maya while Carina taps her hand on her forehead shaking her head with a smile on her face.
You do believe you will be good mothers after all.
Thank you for reading! It's not my best work but lately I feel like everything I write sucks so...well, thanks anyway and have a great day!

Authors note: Sorry it's so long. I tried to shorten it but… I didn't succeed, haha.
ᕚ---ᕘ
The smell of freshly grilled meat was in the air, mixed with the sweet aroma of flowers, as the entire Station 19 team arrived in the backyard of Andy Herrera's house. The sun was still shining brightly in the sky, and a gentle breeze carried the laughter and conversation of the gathered friends through the air.
It was a rare event that they all came together without a fire or emergency calling them, and it was an opportunity to enjoy a free evening together, recover from the rigors of professional life, and enjoy the camaraderie that bound them so closely as firefighters.
The place was an inviting mix of functional comfort and personal style. Flower arrangements were everywhere, and the canopy was decorated with fairy lights that would later give off a warm and festive glow when the sun went down.
The team scattered into different groups. Vic and Maya were standing by the grill, laughing at a joke Dean had just told while he was turning the meat. Ben and Jack were playing with the kids. Others were curiously exploring the house.
Travis, known for his deep curiosity and love of small discoveries, had retreated into the house to get more beer for the whole crew. As he walked through the living room, he noticed something shiny lying between a book and a photo of Andy's father. He reached for it and pulled out a police badge from the side table by the sofa.
He picked it up and looked at it more closely, turning it over in the soft light of the lamp before running back outside with it. "Hey, guys, look!" he called out loudly, waving the badge in his hand as the door to the house closed behind him.
"What did you find there, Montgomery?" Maya asked curiously as she left her place at the grill and approached him. "Looks like a police badge," he replied with a wide grin and gradually the team members surrounded him. "Who do you think it belongs to?"
"Well, it's obvious," Vic said, pushing past the others to get a better look at the badge. "It must belong to Tanner. Our cop must have left his badge here after a sexy night."
A collective laugh broke out as they gathered around Travis, who was still holding the badge in his hand. Tanner, who had just finished his shift and had come over immediately, raised an eyebrow in surprise. "What do you have there?" he asked, stepping closer amusedly.
"Oh, nothing else," Victoria said mischievously and threw the badge at him. "Just your police badge. You must have left it with Andy last night." Tanner laughed and shook his head as he too looked at the badge and memorized the unknown service number. "That's not mine. My badge is on my belt where it belongs."
"Are you sure?" Ben teased with a broad grin. "Maybe you forgot it the last time you were here and this is just a replacement badge?"
"Oh, I know what's going on here," Maya said, turning to her best friend. "Andy, is there something going on with Tanner and you haven't told us about it?"
Andy, who had been following the conversation from the table, sipped her beer. Her eyes flashed with amusement, but she stayed in the background and tried to keep up her facade. She knew exactly who the badge belonged to, but she wouldn't reveal this secret. "Aren't you going to tell us the truth? And you, Tanner, what do you say in your defense?"
"Guys, I swear I have no idea where this thing comes from," Tanner said, laughing, and pushed his way through the crowd to avoid further questions.
"Maybe it belongs to Herrera herself," Jack suggested, walking behind the brunette. His hands rested on her shoulders, shaking her gently in her seat. "Maybe she's a superhero in her spare time."
"Yeah, exactly," Maya added. "Andy, the hero of Seattle who fights both fire and crime."
"Maybe the badge belongs to someone Andy knows better than we think," Dean added, and everyone started digging deeper into their thoughts. "You guys are really impossible," the brunette said, shaking her head as she started to walk to the grill, the meat long forgotten. "Tanner, explain to them that the badge isn't yours so we don't have to eat burnt meat here."
"I already told them!" Tanner answered loudly, throwing his arms in the air to express his frustration. "That's not my badge. Look, they're not the same identification marks!"
"Then the question remains," Warren said thoughtfully, looking back and forth between the badge on the table, Tanner, and Andy. "Who does it belong to then?"
Andy laughed heartily, but her gaze was impenetrable. She enjoyed the game, but didn't let it show. The secret of the police badge was too precious to reveal now. Especially when it was still so fresh. "You caught me," she finally said jokingly. "I'm secretly a superhero at night."
The team laughed and the topic was soon forgotten as the conversation moved on to other topics. But Andy couldn't help but think of the real story behind the brand.
It didn't belong to Tanner. It belonged to you, the woman Andy had been secretly dating for some time. You were a police officer and she had fallen in love with you without her team knowing. It wasn't out of shame or fear that she kept it a secret, but because she wanted to cement that relationship before sharing it with her family.
Throughout the evening, the atmosphere remained cheerful. They ate, drank and told stories. It was one of those rare moments when they felt like a family. A family bonded together by shared experiences and dangers. But she couldn't stop thinking of you anyway. What it would be like if you were here, joining the family. Secretly, she put the badge into her pocket and stroked it, a smile spreading across her face.
Later, as the sun was setting and the lights in the garden were coming on, Andy sat on the porch with a glass of wine while she listened to the others talking. The voices and laughter of her friends filled the air, but she kept thinking about you and the future you two might had together.
Jack sneaked up and sat next to her, handing her a fresh glass of her favorite wine. "You've been pretty mysterious today, Andy," he remarked with a smile and took a sip of his own beer. "Me? Mysterious?" she repeated innocently. "What are you talking about?"
"That police badge. You know more than you told us."
Andy smiled and looked up at the sky, which was slowly turning a darker blue. "Maybe, Jack. Maybe not. Some things just take time to come to light."
"You're really good at keeping us in suspense," he said, shaking his head with a big grin on his lips. "But I bet we'll find out sooner or later. With or without your help."
The evening ended comfortably, the team from Station 19 gradually saying goodbye, happy and satiated from a day full of fun and friendship. Andy watched her friends leave, feeling a deep gratitude for this second family that had been given to her.
ᕚ---ᕘ
Time had passed since Andy's barbecue, but the team at Station 19 didn't let up. They constantly teased Andy about the mysterious police badge that Travis had found. Whether during training, during breaks, or even on missions - jokes and curious questions kept cropping up.
"Andy, when are you finally going to confess to us that you're having a secret affair with Tanner?" Vic asked one morning, laughing, when they were all gathered in the firehouse kitchen. "Yes, Andy," Dean added. "We're all curious."
Andy rolled her eyes in annoyance and said nothing. She knew there was no point in continuing to deny or explain. The team would only calm down when they knew the truth.
That afternoon, while the team was enjoying a short break, the alarm suddenly sounded. An emergency call was made. "Police officer urgently needs support from the fire service and ambulance. Injured and in a dangerous area that is difficult to access."
"All hands on duty!" Andy Herrera shouted and fear immediately spread through her. She knew you were on duty, but hadn't heard from you for quite some time. At least her phone remained silent. "We have an injured police officer who urgently needs help. Get moving!!"
The team immediately jumped up and rushed to the emergency vehicles. The drive to the scene was tense, everyone knew that seconds could mean the difference between life and death. During the drive they heard further details over the radio. "The police officer is in an abandoned building that collapsed in a shootout after a pursuit. Serious injuries and no self-extrication are expected. Perpetrator may still be on site.“
When they arrived, they were met with a chaotic scene. The building had partially collapsed and dust was pouring out of various places. Police cars were parked around the building as police officers tried to get the situation under control.
"We have to get in and get them out," Andy said determinedly as she put on her gear. "No time to waste!"
Andy, Sullivan and Maya immediately made their way into the building while the rest of the team stayed outside to coordinate the situation and fight a small fire. The rubble and the falling dust made progress difficult, but they fought tirelessly through.
"There ahead!" Sullivan suddenly called out and pointed with his lamp to a spot where he saw a hand under broken wood.
Andy ran and knelt down, immediately starting to clear the rubble away. Finally, she spotted someone who was all too familiar to her - it was you, Andy's secret girlfriend. Unconscious and bleeding heavily. "Y/n!" she called out worriedly and immediately checked your vital signs. "We have to get her out of here and quickly!"
With combined forces, they carefully lifted the wood from your body and carried you outside. Ben and Vic were already waiting and immediately began first aid. Andy didn't leave your side, her concern for you evident in her physical tension.
"So that's your secret." said Travis, who was now also at the ambulance and watching the scene unfold in front of him. Andy looked up at him, stroking her upper arms to calm herself down and nodded. "Yes, that's y/n. We've been together for some time."
"Why didn't you tell us earlier?" asked Vic, who was trying to cover your open wounds with bandages. "It was complicated," explained Andy, looking down at you. "I wanted to be sure that our relationship was strong enough before I told all you. And in our professions, it's not always easy to make something like that public."
Travis, Ben and Vic nodded understandingly and the others came and gathered together. "We understand," said Warren, drawing up a syringe that he flushed into your venous access. "But you should have known that we would support you no matter what."
"I know," she replied gratefully and a small smile formed on her lips. "And I'm glad you know now."
ᕚ---ᕘ
The days after your accident were hard for Andy. She tried to do her job as well as she could, but her thoughts kept returning to you. Every minute she couldn't be with you in the hospital felt like an eternity. Her worries and fears gnawed at her, and the entire team at Station 19 tried to be there for her as best they could.
The support of her colleagues was a great help, but Andy couldn't completely shake off her fears and worries. Every day, after her shift, she drove straight to the hospital to be with you. She spent hours by your bed, despite the tiredness, holding your hand and talking to you even when you were sleeping.
But today she had the day off after a night shift, and she was determined to visit you in the morning and spend the whole day with you. "Hey," you said, still weak, but with a big smile on your face. "How was your night?"
"It was fine," Andy replied, sitting down by your bed before gently running her hand through your tousled hair. "I was thinking of you. How are you feeling?"
"Better," you replied shortly, pulling her hand away from your head to kiss her palm and then place it in yours. "The doctors are just getting the paperwork ready for my discharge."
"That's great news," Andy said, squeezing your hand tightly. "I can't wait to have you home with me and nurse you back to full health."
A few hours passed, and you left the hospital with Andy. She had been expecting this day with mixed feelings - joy that you were allowed to go home, and nervousness because she wanted to officially inform her team about your relationship and take you to the station.
And so she had the whole team gather in the lounge that afternoon, despite her day off, and everyone was excited about Andy's announcement. Andy entered the room with you by her side, hand in hand, even though you were still a little weak, but with a smile on your lips.
"Hey guys," she began, her voice shaking slightly with excitement as she rocked on her feet. "I'd like to introduce you to someone. This is y/n, my girlfriend."
A surprised but happy expression spread across the faces of her colleagues. Vic stepped forward and gave Andy and you a warm hug. "We suspected it," she said, laughing. "But it's nice that you're finally telling us officially."
"Welcome to our small but weird family, y/n," Maya added, holding out her hand. "Thank you," you replied, taking her hand gratefully. "I'm glad to meet you all. Andy has said so many good things about you."
"Well, we're glad you're here and that you're feeling better, y/n." Sullivan said with a smile. "If you need anything, let us know."
The mood was relaxed and full of joy as the team officially welcomed you and Andy as a couple. The past few days had shown how strong the bond and support within the team was. Andy felt a deep gratitude for her friends and colleagues who had been there for her during this difficult time.
The evening passed in a whirlwind of conversations, laughter and time together. Andy could finally breathe a sigh of relief, her worries had disappeared to some extent, and she knew that she not only had you, but also a great family by her side.

Station 19 7x10
I snuck in a rewatch during my (slightly longer than it should be) lunch break. It was an excellent finale, IMO. I really wanted to enjoy whatever they gave us and go out on a high. And they delivered for me.
Once again, this is going to get long…
Maya being stuck in the fire and imagining everything that’s waiting for her set up the theme of the episode. It felt fitting that she thought about Carina and the family they’re trying to build, it’s where her storyline has been leading all season and, once again, shows how much she has changed and grown since the Maya we first got to know.
I’m very grateful that the incident didn’t put her off being a firefighter. I was trying to make peace with the idea of her moving on, but I’m much happier with this outcome, knowing she will continue to grow and thrive both personally and professionally.
Do I wish that we’d seen more of Carina’s reaction? Of course. But we got to see Carina fighting the wildfires too and I’m so glad they included her in that way. Although they definitely missed a trick not having Maya see her in the forest, rather than at the hospital – I expected to see Carina just after Andy was taken away in the Aid Car. That would have been a really emotional moment.
“Suit up”… the scene of Carina getting dressed in the yellow suit was a highlight of the episode for me, especially with the superhero-esque music in the background. 🔥 (Gif-makers, I can’t wait for you to do your thing!)
Carina telling Maya that she’s pregnant, all their happiness, the kiss, the throwback to the proposal – even their annoying hand placements were back! I loved that moment, it was perfect for them. 🥰
I loved all the firefighting, watching them working together and struggling but eventually getting their part of the fire contained. This show is at its best for me when it’s about the team and fire, the scary moments and the way they always come together and win.
Powell dying in the fire tornado, watching her little body get pulled in… I’m sorry, but it made me laugh. 😂
It took a while to get used to the flash forwards, but I like that they showed us what each character wanted in their future, without making it canon, because it leaves the possibilities open.
Carina and her three kids – and Peggy and Dayna still being around! (Running her own clinic, just like she also dreamed, I’m sure.) Travis living his best life with Vic and Dominic. Sully and Ross getting married. Vic taking Crisis One national. Argh, seeing Dean again made me emotional. 🥺 Sully doing more for vets. Ben watching his kids grow up. Pru becoming a firefighter too. Even Beckett (and you know how I feel about Beckett) envisioning his future with Ross’s sister, that made me lol but it was sweet.
I didn’t see Andy and Jack coming. I saw a few jokes about it earlier this week, but I didn’t take them seriously. I don’t think it was necessary. I can only think that they meant it to be a full circle moment – but, for me, the full circle moment was Maya as captain of 19 and Andy as Chief, because that’s what they used to talk about. And I absolutely loved that, especially with Pru being there too. ❤️
The wigs though. 😂 I took me a minute, but Andy’s hair reminded me of a girl I used to go to school with.
ETA: oh, I forgot! Captain DeLuca-Bishop finally! 😍
Ben going back to being a surgeon… yeah, we all saw that coming. 🙄
Vic and Travis, true soulmates, getting their happy ending. I love that for them.
This show has been such a big part of my life since Marina came along four years ago and I’m going to miss it. It’s given me so much – friends and community and a return of my love of writing. I’m grateful for all of it (except 5B 😜).  ❤️❤️

Could I please have an imagine where the reader is a trauma surgeon at grey sloan and is actually best friends with Travis. One day Travis and Vic are bringing in a patient for the reader and after Travis introduces them they begin to fall for each other. So Vic always tries to be on the aid car all the time. One day she just decides to kiss you and tells you how she feels. Fluffy please?
The aid car
Summary: One person’s injury is another person’s chance to find love.
Pairing: Victoria Hughes x female!reader
Warnings: i have zero understanding of medical things
Word count: 1238
a/n: Vic is criminally underrated, she’s amazing
Tumblr media
Travis opens the door of the aid car, helping the group of doctors take the gurney out of the car. “Female, 37 years old, car versus pedestrian, has been conscious the whole time.” He explains as he, Victoria and the doctors rush inside.
“Alright, bring her to trauma room 1.” Y/N leads to the room. “Get me a head CT and a MRI, somebody page ortho to check for broken bone.” She orders the doctors and nurses around.
Travis and Victoria stay by the sidelines, but decide to wait around to see that the woman makes it. Victoria’s eyes are slightly wider as she watches Y/N move through the room, testing and treating the patient. To her, it all looks magnificent.
“Everything will be okay, Miss Doe, you have no life threatening injuries.” Y/N smiles at the patient as the rush starts to slow down. “Just a couple broken bones in your leg, which Doctor Torres over here,” she nods towards Calliope Torres, who is standing next to her, “will fix those right up.” Giving Callie one last nod, she leaves the trauma room, Victoria and Travis following her.
“Y/N, hey!” Travis stops next to Y/N. “Are we still on game night tonight?”
“Yes!” Y/N turns her back to Travis. “Open the gown for me? When should I be there?”
Travis starts pulling on the strings of the gown, talking about which time she should be there, what kind of games he has and so on, while Victoria stares at the two in confusion. She nudges Travis, giving him a look.
“Right!” Making Y/N turn around as she pulls the gown off, Travis points to Victoria. “This is Victoria Hughes, my firefighter best friend. And Vic, this is Doctor Y/N Y/L/N, my doctor best friend.” He has a smile on his face as he introduces the two.
“Very nice to meet you.”
“You too.” Victoria smiles. They stare at each other for a while, completely forgetting Travis standing right next to them.
He furrows his brows and opens his mouth to break the silence. “Vic, would you like to join me and Y/N on game night tonight?”
“Yes!” Victoria’s head snaps to Travis. “I mean, yes, if it’s okay with the two of you.” Her eyes move between the two.
Y/N nods with a big smile. “That’d be great.”
“Great!” Travis claps his hands together once before grabbing Victoria’s arm. “We will leave you to work now, see you later, Y/N.” He starts dragging Victoria out of the hospital with an indescribable look on his face.
“Female, 22 years old, hit her head to the ground when falling off of a horse.” Victoria explains to the doctor’s, mostly to Y/N, as they wheel the patient inside.
“Lets bring her to trauma room 1 and page neuro.” Y/N orders. “And lets get a test for any internal injuries.”
As soon as it’s confirmed there’s nothing going on internally, and Doctor Shepherd arrives to check her brain, Y/N leaves the room. “Hey, Y/N.” Victoria jogs to her.
“Oh, hi.” She smiles. “Aid car is your favorite?”
“Huh?”
“You’re on the aid car pretty much every time a patient comes here.”
Victoria laugh, quite a long time as she tries to think. “What can I say, aid car is my favorite.” She smiles widely. “Anyways, when is the next game night? I had very fun last time.”
“Uhh, you gotta ask Travis about that.” Y/N takes a tablet from a nurse, looking over the patient informations on it. “He usually arranges them. But,” she looks at Victoria, “I had fun too.”
“Great. I- I’ll talk to Travis.” She starts backing towards the door. “Until then, I guess I’ll see you when I bring patients in.”
“I’d say I hope to see you soon, but that would probably be…not good.” Y/N cringes, lifting her shoulders.
Victoria laughs. “Right. See you.”
For four weeks Victoria has takes as many aid car shifts as possible, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed by the others. “Lets go, Hughie.”
“Wait a second, they’re done soon.” Victoria stares into the trauma room through the window, briefly turning to look at Dean when the silence prolongs. Her has a confused look on his face. “I just want to know the patient will be fine.” She defends herself with hands raised in the air.
“Okay.” He mumbles, crossing his arms. Dean follows her line of sight straight to trauma surgeon Y/N Y/L/N. A small grin grows to his face as he hums.
Turning to look at him, Victoria scrunches her brows. “What?”
“Nothing.”
The conversation ends when Y/N walks out of the room and pulls her gown off. “Hey!” Victoria waves her hand around to get her attention. “Travis is setting up another game night, does next Friday sound good to you?”
“Yes! Ask him to bring your other coworkers too, yeah? He’s been talking about me meeting them for ages. I’ll bring a new game I got. It’s this really good-“ The pager beeps. “Shit, sorry, I have to go. I’ll see you on Friday, Vic.”
“Right, yeah, I will.” Victoria mumbles, watching Y/N jog out of the ER.
Dean and Victoria start walking back to the aid car, the latter with a permanent smile on her face, which makes Dean grin. “So.. What was that?”
“What was what?”
“That thing with the doctor.”
“The doctor is Y/N and she is my friend who I met through Travis.” Dean hums while nodding slowly, not believing her at all. “That is it.”
“I didn’t say anything.”
“Shut up.” Victoria grumbles, getting into the aid car.
Travis groans when the dice stops on a five, bringing his pawn to a bad place. “Come on!” He counts his fake money and throws the right amount to laughing Andy’s pile, leaving him with only one bill.
“This is why you plan ahead, Travis!” She mocks, flailing the stack of bills in his face.
“Yeah, yeah.” Y/N laughs at the sour look on his face.
“I though you said you were good at games.” Ben smirks, looking at Travis’ amount of money, which happens to be the smallest.
“I am when I play with Y/N!” His voice is higher than usual, which makes Y/N laugh even louder.
While the other laugh at Travis’ misfortune, Victoria is staring at Y/N. It’s like the only thing in her mind is how beautiful she is. And then, like her body is moving on its own, she grabs Y/N’s cheeks with her hands and pulls her into a kiss.
The whole room goes silent.
Pulling away from the kiss, Victoria has a mortified look on her face. “I- I’m so sorry.” She whispers. “I don’t know why…”
“It’s fine.” Y/N shrugs with a smile. “It’s okay.”
“Oh thank god, because I really like you.”
“I really like you too.”
And so the cheering starts, startling the two, who definitely forgot they weren’t alone in the room. “Finally.” Travis claps. “I’ve been waiting for this moment for weeks.”
“Go Hughie, yea!” Dean yells, patting Victoria in the back.
“Hughie?” Y/N giggles.
“You never heard that.” She whispers.
“Got it.” Grinning, Y/N goes back to hugging the others, as they congratulate the two for admitting their feelings.

BODYGUARD — VICTORIA HUGHES [Summer Writings]
Tumblr media
A/N: where is the fandom on this site? Nowhere to be found and only on Twitter! Easily became my fav fem character of the series and would have loved at least ONE MORE SEASON. Would definitely watch if they decided to do a crisis one spin off in the future. Anyways Vic deserves all the love she can get and it’s a special month so here I am—if you catch my drift 😉
SYNOPSIS: life in DC has taken some time getting used to but thanks to having Travis by Vic’s side she manages—although she’s sure she would have figured it out regardless! Vic has begun navigating Crisis One on her own and being in charge of a team leads to her spending the weekend with a member Vic’s not entirely sure likes her but decides to push her pride aside through persuasion of her best friend…later bringing on further rejection?
WARNINGS: curse word dropped + fem reader has southern roots + a few OC’s added just for the purpose of this mini story + mentions of injuries and procedures & Travis still being Travis…
<- read my previous summer anthology fic here.

~WASHINGTON, D.C.~
A few bruises, a very large angry mosquito bite, and the stench of a cigarette is the first thing Vic notices when she spots you looking out into the distance above the river. You’re not far from where your RV is parked along the growing grass and Vic snorts to herself, realizing that you weren’t bullshitting when you chatted about your ride/home down at the center. You were the first to show up before everyone else on the official start of crisis one (always on your electric scooter with a seat attached and a small wired basket in the back) tipping your, “bless your heart,” trucker hat in greeting along with a apple lollipop hanging in between your lips.
Granted the crisis one team would all receive their uniforms in due time but it certainly wasn’t what Hughes was expecting just based on your file and word of mouth from HR. Vic liked to say she handled herself well trying to work with this new team but there was something about the woman from Texas that liked to throw Vic for a loop.
“Just go over there and hint at the idea of spending some one on one time together,” Travis whispered to Vic who threw her hands up in the air in annoyance.
“We’re not even supposed to be down here! The event is back that way and I don’t even know why I let you talk me into taking a walk.”
Travis gave her a side eye, “hey, I stopped you from jamming a foam board over Duke’s head, you should be thanking me.”
Duke Conway was another member of Crisis One, a bit of a airhead surfer dude that came from a wealthy family that also helped fund this program. The event held vendors that showcased many programs over the state that didn’t mainly cater to mental health services but also just health in general. There were pamphlets, foods proven to uplift your health, demonstrations, games and even other various of activities for all sorts of ages! It was a beautiful scorching hot day out here at the recreation area that felt as big as Central Park! It also started off as a good day until Duke began blabbing to the others about how he wasn’t sure if he’d be able to purchase this new surf board on this salary (yes in DC!), purposely ignoring this elderly woman who wanted more information on crisis one.
That ticked Vic off since she always has a soft spot for the elderly, her personable trait coming into play as she assisted the woman, apologizing for Duke’s actions and answering most of her questions before Travis took over so Vic could tell Duke a thing or two. That of course led to Duke still being oblivious and Vic ready to flip on him since he’s done nothing but kick back and act as if this was some chill weekend outing.
Which led to Travis leaving the booth in Vic’s second or third in command—Travis always assumed it would be you and should be since you two seemed to work together best besides the few times you agree to disagree but instead it went to Duke’s cousin on his mother’s side, Arlington Wraith. Who was a bit of a classist snob but agreed with Vic on their cousin’s stupidity but felt they should be the only one that got to say it—despite Vic out ranking the both of them.
To cool off, Travis and Vic decided to take a walk and now Vic felt like maybe this wasn’t the best idea. The braided haired leader wasn’t sure where you ran off to since one minute you were there with the rest talking to a man that approached the vendor and then in the next you were yards away.
“Thanking you for what exactly?” Vic pulled her bottom lip into her mouth by her teeth, then used a finger to scratch at her scalp in confusion, “Trying to meddle with my love life?”
A freckled face Travis lolls his head around, “Vic it’s been how long since we’ve been in DC?”
Vic lifted her shoulders exasperated, “I dont care and I don’t need to constantly be in a relationship.”
“Who said anything about that?” Travis replied with a frown, “You two may just have sexual chemistry.”
Vic rolled her eyes at this, finding this statement to be so typical of her best friend.
“Again, been there and done that! And this isn’t even what this day is about. I’m supposed to be working and she should be too which means we should only have our heads in the game.”
Travis shrugged, “well maybe your head can be in her game.”
Vic twisted her face in disgust as Travis laughed to himself, “I can’t believe you just said that cringy garbage to me and if you want to be horny—save it until one of your late nights down at those clubs you spend twelve hours in, it’s like you think we’re in Europe or something.”
“Hey, I’m single and like to have fun.” Travis argued with his hands raised.
Vic mumbled, “Yeah that’s your problem.”
Travis fires back, “And your problem is not being laid enough.”
Vic pinched the space in between her brows, “Travis…I love you truly and i broke my celibacy a while ago and still chose to focus on my work even after that but we’re older now. Supposed to be smarter even! I’m pretty sure I’ve had this conversation with you before but I think I’m ready for more than just a lay again. I’ve worked so hard to be here and sure of myself and I want to share that along with having an endless love that lasts until I’m ready to kick the bucket.”
Travis softens his teasing as he reaches to grip Vic’s shoulders and then caressing them, “that’s sweet and I love that for you but how do you expect that to happen if you don’t take another leap of faith with someone that’s right in front of your face?”
“Again!” Vic yells, “Did the whole dating a co-worker and someone that works in the same field as me.”
Travis nods his head knowing of Vic’s dating history, “fair but you’re the one that thinks she doesn’t like you…and you could at least try to be friends since it’s actually nice having someone in your corner in the work place. I mean hey look at us! So go over there and just try.”
“You’re acting as if I’m some kid at the park that’s scared to go play with the other kids or something.”
“Well I think you are honestly,” Travis states making Vic raise her brows in disbelief, “it’s just you and I out here and I know someday will be the day where you’ll want to build a family—outside of me—with someone else and she might be the answer to that.”
Travis didn’t mean that in the sense of having children since he was sure that really wasn’t in Vic’s cards. She liked being the cool aunt to Maya and Carina’s kids and basically being the godmother to Pru, who she shared conversations with every other day but a family didn’t always have to mean producing children, it could be with the people you already surrounded yourself with.
“What exactly am I even going to say? It looks like she’s in deep thought along the horizon and I’m not sure I want to disrupt that.” Vic makes excuses now, molding her lips together as she awkwardly swayed her hands back and forth.
Travis gives her shoulders a shake, “you’re Vic Hughes…I’m sure you’ll manage,” before he circles around Vic to lightly shove her in the direction of a potential love interest, “I can confirm that they also identify as queer.”
Vic whipped around to face her best friend who grins at her, “how? What? That doesn’t automatically mean—
“Sure it doesn’t but I didn’t exactly get the chance to ask if you’re her type.”
“Uh, I’m glad you didn’t! You’re so embarrassing.”
“That’s my job. Now shoo!”
Vic glares at Travis who sends her a thumbs up in encouragement. Turning to face where you stood, it appears that you’re now facing in their direction, watching their exchange but Vic isn’t sure for how long. You pluck the cigarette forward, leaving Vic to pause and shake her head as she now charges forward to stomp it out.
“Seriously?” She holds her hands down at the stomped out lipstick covered cigarette.
Your hands goes to your hips as you await for Vic to get closer, “what?”
“Not only are you killing the environment but also your lungs and possibly other organs, you do realize that don’t you?”
“Sorry mom,” you respond while Vic rolls her eyes.
Vic fans the air before taking an inhale, “What’re you doing all the way out here instead of you know, helping back at the vendor?”
You blink, “it’s actually my day off but I pushed myself to be there since I’ve been parked out here for awhile.”
“What?” Vic looks off to the side in thought, “I don’t remember that on the schedule.”
You joke, “ah, forgot all about me as soon as Duke and Arlington showed up instead huh?”
“Yeah because they give me ulcers.”
You chuckle, “And what do I give you?”
“Hmm…Second-hand smoke?”
“That’s my first one in six months!”
Vic folds her arms, “You’re right, I remember you saying that you quit so that adds more to my disappointment.”
“Oh no, what will I ever do without the approval of Victoria Hughes?”
“Okay, I’m the only one that gets to be sarcastic here.” The brown eyed woman points, leadership kicking in just a bit.
“It was more snark but—
“Whatever! I’m here to ask about your well-being.”
You stare at Vic then, “You don’t need to do that.”
“I know I don’t but if everything doesn’t flow right then I need to check on the state of my team to make sure that it does and I can tell you’re not exactly thrilled about that but…you’re on my team.”
Watch this curveball, “Right…and you’re deflecting from what you really came over here to ask me.”
“Excuse me?”
You’re waving your hand about now, “You and Travis really know how to use your outside voices so…go on ask me already.”
Vic blinks rapidly and tightens her crossed arms as she studies your shell of a face with a clear of her throat, “I don’t even know what you’re taking about I—okay.” She exhaled before continuing, “Would you like to go on a date or hangout with me sometime…even though I’m not sure you even want to be bothered with me?”
“Wow you’re really selling it,” you snort, “what’s the matter, been out the streets that long?”
“Okay, never mind. Screw this.” Vic whips around, ready to walk away until you speak again.
“I would have said no anyway.”
Vic halts and turns back around, arms still crossed as she sways from one leg to the other as the sun burned the back of her bare arms, “What was that?”
You shake your head with your eyes closed, “And not because I don’t like you or find you unattractive because that would be a huge lie. I’d say no considering I also put in time off because I’m getting surgery.”
Vic frowns for another reason now and not just at the rejection although her mind is still spinning, “oh…is everything alright?”
“Cataract surgery…I know that’s usually an older person’s problem but I beat the odds.” You unconsciously rub at your blurry eye, “They said it’s a mixture of genetics but mainly from trauma—
Vic exhales, “from that call we received a month ago? You mean to tell me you’ve been dealing with this since then? You were cleared, I saw that paperwork.”
Vic remembered that day, witnessing you double over after a schizophrenic patient rammed a pen right into your eye. The patient was calm until you turned back around to assist with wheeling them out of the home. Everyone seemed to miss checking the pockets of her robe, where a pen with a frog top was pulled and aimed right at an off guard version of you.
It felt careless and stupid and most of the team knew this. Errors were meant to be made and it should have been one of the first things they checked after securing her but it was a small pen that held quite the damage.
You nod, “yeah guess I wasn’t as cured as they thought. It’s only in that eye so it’ll take less amount of time.”
“When is it?”
“Thursday.”
“And you’re working up until that time?”
“Yup.”
“Well send me the information so I can check up on you.” Vic holds out her phone while you take it with a curious stare.
“This a way to get my phone number?”
“I can get it anyways,” Vic honestly answers, “but i also want the details…you do have someone looking in on you afterwards right?”
You shrug, not wanting to get too personal, “I’ve got Uber and Limbo.”
“Uh…limbo?”
“My ferret.”
Vic says, “You have a ferret…of course you do, you live in a freaking RV!”
You laugh as you send a text to your own phone, listing the details in the message before handing it back over to grab your own phone to send a thumbs up emoji, “if this is your idea of a date you’re more of an oddball than I am.”
“This isn’t a date! It’s simply checking in.”
“After I told you that I’m going to be preparing myself to get my eye scrapped like nails on a chalkboard.”
“I did not need that mental image.” Vic winces.
“I know,” you smirk.
“Are you nervous about it?”
“Do I seem nervous?” You question.
Vic does that thing where she talks fast but in this circumstance was to hide the fact that she may or may not being caring in different ways about you, “Some people tend to hide their emotions better than others so I can’t exactly tell.”
You lift your shoulders, “not really afraid of a little surgery but I’m open to you holding my hand later…if that’s not crossing a line that is.”
“It is crossing many since I’m essentially the head of crisis one but I was also the one who approached you about going on a date or hang out.” Vic exhales in realization that this was basically another pattern that she ultimately wanted to avoid.
Yet here Vic was acting up in the summer time with the stamp of approval from a best friend who still hasn’t gotten their own love life together.
Funny stuff, really.
You reminded, “Which I sorta rejected.”
“Until a later date.” Vic added.
“Until a later date,” you echo meeting Vic’s eyes, “…for now do you want a shot of whiskey? I’ve got some of the best in my humble abode…and don’t worry I’ll bring it out to you to avoid any other problems.”
Vic emphasized, “We’re on the job…”
“You’re on the job.”
“And you’re about to get me into a world of trouble aren’t you?” Vic laughs with her head thrown back, somewhat scared but excited to jump into what’s to come.
There’s a glint in your eye at that as you step even closer to Vic now who feels like she should be breathing regularly but knows that she’s not, “you’ll learn to love it if you haven’t already, Victoria Hughes…so? What do you say?”
She inhales with a pretty smile, “I say sure, I’ll take a shot but just one. I don’t know much about how you Texans get down.”
“I’ll teach you.” You wink, which makes Vic’s belly flutter.
“I have no doubts about that.”
“Good.”
“Great.”
“…I’m gonna walk away now so you don’t kiss me.”
Vic scoffs but her face is tight with humor,“Please get over yourself.”
You walk backwards to your RV, “Never, it’s what makes you so fascinated with me.”
“Oh god…I didn’t realize your head was so abnormally big!”
“With the brains to match.”
Vic pushed her lips out not even mad at that comeback, “…Alright I’ll let you have that one.”
You hum with another wink, leaving Vic for a few moments while Vic peers down at her phone at the text message, adding a name to match the number. When she glances over her shoulder, Travis is nowhere to be found—which actually makes Vic relieved until the creaking of your door hits her ears.
Down the steps you go, making your way back to Vic with your baggy ripped shorts, holding two shots of brown. Vic carefully takes it and holds it out to the center, “what are we toasting to?”
“Better beginnings?”
Victoria nods with crinkles by her eyes, “Better beginnings.”
“Should I be cheesy and say, together?”
“Please don’t.” Vic groans, “I’ve had enough corny for today.”
“Noted.”
They clink their glasses as you tell, “make sure you make eye contact or it won’t seal the deal.”
“So you’re superstitious?” Vic makes a mental note of that.
“To a certain extent but it’s common courtesy.”
“Fine.” Vic comments with a sigh as they briefly break eye contact to place their glasses to their lips before holding each others stares again.
One winces while the other grins, “to better beginnings.”

Station 19 S07e10
Tumblr media
19!
I'm overwhelmed by feelings. It's amazing how much fictional characters can make you feel.
My hope and wish for the end of these characters was for them to have a resolution and be happy.
Honestly, I can't complain. Maybe I should wait for the excitement to die to write anything about it.
But I love the ending for every character. I loved how they incorporated these "dreams" into the action scenes.
Andy as Chief is a great resolution for her. Jack being her true love was not something I was expecting. I feel it was something they pulled out at the last minute, and don't get me wrong I'm not opposed to it, Andy and Jack could have worked if they had more seasons and Grey wouldn't have left.
Ross. I'd hoped Natasha had something more in mind than marrying Bob but she is always being "My man My man My man" so it's fitting
Robert. One thing I loved about these flashforwards was that they were connected. Sully dreamed of that because in Ross's dream, they were already married, so he got to be with her.
Travis's most important relationship is with Vic. If I had Vic as a friend, I'd be like that too. Uprooting your life like that to move with your best friend is really brave.
Warren is probably my least favorite character but that's because he is boring but he is a good man. I was emotional watching his kids all grow.
Beckett is so unserious because why is he dreaming of Ross' sister.
Vic. She made me cried because she deserves everything that it's good in life. I'm so so so happy she didn't end up with Theo. She is helping people and living her best life. My beautiful queen.
Carina's dream is so important bc she had no one, her brother and mom died, and her father is trash. She was alone and then met this stubborn firefighter and said I want a big family with her, and that's what she did. Bring her back to Grey's you cowards.
Maya. My sweet beautiful, reckless, bisexual, hot, brave, selfless, stubborn, broken Maya. Her future was so bright without clouds. She falls asleep thinking about her wife and three kids. Maya who made me come back for season 2, and here I am seven seasons later, just a mess of emotion.
When I saw Carina enter that bar, it took me a whole ass minute to realize what they were trying to do. Why Carina was there. I'll never forget that excitement and I'll always be thankful for pairing them.
It's so weird to see that kind of representation. We didn't need coming out stories or the usual homophobia. Also, they were proud bisexuals and I'm always thankful that Maya said that with her whole chest. That was so important.
Now, my random thoughts about the episode.
I love the scene with the aluminum thing. That was cool and terrifying.
I loved it when Andy showed up. I was crying like she rescued me.
Danielle is so bad at screaming, her voice cracked up so much.
I loved Maya worried about Andy
I loved Carina suiting up finally. It was so funny.
I loved that we got to see adult Prue, and my god the legacy she is carrying.
I loved to see Andy as chief and Maya as captain.
I loved Carina doing what she preaches. Like Maya my god make yourself useful and give that woman an orgasm.
Tumblr media
I'm not a fan of the Deluca-Bishop name tag because I just don't like hyphenating last names in general but I think it is cute they did that little detail for the fans who have really been asking for it.
Now for the last scene, keep in mind, that I've been crying the whole episode. Then this hit
Tumblr media
I just laughed out loud. Omg, those are some terrible wigs. What was the point? What were they trying to achieve? To make them look older?
You should have put some gray hair and move it along. Like why they were having a bob off. Why would you do that to them?
Let me clean my eyes with Maya's real bob and the hottest she looked in the show.
Tumblr media
Anyway, I'm always thankful when I get to experience a TV show so deeply. Even tho the cancellation is unfair. At least we got a proper ending.
I'm also glad that we got actors who cared deeply about their characters and respected them so much.
I'm a mess but 19 forever.

Top 5 Travic moments (and why?)
{pass along if you wish}
FINALLY SOMEONE ASKS ME ABOUT TRAVIC ! I COULD GO ON ABOUT THEM FOREVER .
5 ) " move in with me , and let's be the one normal thing in each other's lives . "
the covid season was just so heavy and it hit so close to home, to see these characters I knew and love so isolated from one another. Travis opening his home to Vic felt like a little healing , it felt like things were a little normal again .
4 ) Travis + Vic's grief ( x 2 )
Travis being the one to convince Vic to say goodbye to Lucas , before it was too late , and him also choosing to be the one to tell her about Dean because he knew he was the only one who possibly could, it just ACHES me everytime , he's the only one who can do that to victoria, upend her whole life.
3 ) " you quit ! you quit on ME! "
THIS SCENE IS SO RAW AND REAL ! I think it might be one of my favorite scenes in the entire show tbh , vic's TERROR is masked as anger at him, her best friend, who almost died in her arms, who bled out in front of her. Because what else can she do ? Blame him? For doing his job ? Their job ? But damnit je doesn't get to die on her , he doesn't get to die a dumbass .
2 ) " my husband was my best friend, and then he died , and then two weeks later , this bubbly, vibrant, maybe talks too fast person waltzed into my life "
TEARS 😭 the fact that Travis believes that Micheal sent Vic to him, to be his person , to be that force in his life that Micheal was for so long , that he believes Vic to be his soulmate 🥺😭 I think in a way Lucas send Travis back to Vic in return, like they both knew they'd need each other for the rest of thier lives .
1 ) " as it turns out , my life is wherever you are . "
Of COURSE this is number one, what else can I say about this that haven't been said ? Travic endgame confirmed ( SQUEALS ) I would 100% watch a spinoff of these two living together, Vic regularly forgetting to change the batteries in the smoke alarm .
The fact that they're each other's home , their safe place to land, each other's person . They are my Meredith/Christina , Travis and Vic are so important and special to me .

maya bishop and carina deluca relationship headcanons
Tumblr media
first of all this is now my new favorite gif
carina loves to tease maya about how short she is
maya doesn’t think she’s that short (she is)
maya practically drops to the floor when carina speaks italian
she finds it so hot
carina tried to teach maya italian and it did not go well
she had to stop for the sake of her own sanity
when they have kids, maya would be called mommy and carina would be called mama
they go to pride every year with the whole station
carina helps decorate the engine and ladder
have the bisexual flag and the rainbow flag hanging in their living room
after maya and her mom reconcile, carina develops a close relationship with katherine
she lost her mom years ago and hasn’t had a real mother figure in her life since then
except for miranda bailey but bailey doesn’t know this
maya loves the relationship her mom and carina developed but hates that her mom shows carina embarrassing photos of maya as a child
carina loves it
they love to snuggle. they usually switch off between who is the big spoon and little spoon
take showers together to “save water”
we all know the real reason though 😏
maya instigates tickle fights
and always wins
carina wins pillow fights though
the team always teases maya for how sappy and in love she is
but they are very happy for her
carina has become super close with the team, especially vic and travis
vic once told maya she would take carina’s side if they broke up
maya was super offended and carina was laughing
carina is not a morning person
if maya even attempts to wake her up before nine a.m., maya will be sleeping on the couch for the night
the only exception for this is work shifts or christmas
maya is literally in complete awe when she watches carina work
she falls in love with her all over again, and carina is so glad someone appreciates her work
the team threw carina a party after she was made head of the ob department at grey sloan
she definitely cried
maya and carina host movie nights weekly at their house
the whole team comes over and they never let jack pick the movie because he has trashy taste
he took offense to this
andy very frequently has sleepovers in maya and carina’s bed, with carina in it
carina really can’t say no, she loves andy and the relationship she has with maya
anyways i can’t survive until 2024 without them

hi autumn I love you like crazy. like I close my eyes and I see a beautiful vision of us shrouded in light and floating through time and space in an eternal and timeless friendship with no earthly worries or cares disturbing us. in a month, when it is autumn officially, I know I shall see you in the gaps of light through orange and red trees. and the falling of every leaf as the trees change their colours will remind me of how your precious friendship has changed me and my life and allowed abundant light into it. ok bye now love from vic meowwww catboy nolan
Overlooking the Grand Canyon two beautiful young women sit admiring an orange and purple sunset. No worries on their minds, only looking forward to the next day they get to spend together, they close their eyes and think of where they came from, the same pink sun fading behind the fields of the English countryside, heating up the ground in Northern California… their transatlantic friendship powerful enough to tint the entire world in a warm, pastel-hued glow. As the colors fade, and the sun falls out of sight, one of them turns to the other and says, “this is boring as hell, I wish I was home reading style yaoi rn”
Those two beautiful women’s names were travis konecy and nolan patrick

Top 5 Travic moments and why?
i thought you'd never ask... these choices change every day but currently:
shower scene (4x01)
genuinely anyone who knows me knows that this is my favourite scene. i think it has just the right balance of comedy and softness. it has the first direct 'i love you', the hug is amazing and both travis and vic's heart eyes during the scene? ohhh i cry every time. it really shows that travis can be stuck in one single thought for ages, not being able to see another side, but when vic is there, she can get him to think differently. shower scene supremacy
2. the bunk room scene (7x06)
i rewatched this scene yesterday and it is simply perfection. season 7 was not good to them (7a specifically) but oh my godddd having this wonderful resolution after vic had a breakdown in front of everyone was just perfect because I'm not being funny, if this scene happened with someone other than travis i would have been livid. how intimate it was... it wouldn't have worked with anyone else. its no secret that travis knows vic. travis knows vic more than anyone, he knows her more than he knows himself sometimes. he knew that she was hurting way before anyone else did. he knew that after her breakdown she needed some weird analogy, some comedy, but she also needed to know that she could 'be the baby' and get taken care of. his soft voice as he spoke to her? lives rent free in my mind. 'i love you and i will always take care of you' is soooo important to me, and then the cheek rub, forehead kiss and the hug... i will never recover. travis, vic and their fans needed that scene.
3. the airport scene (7x10)
there has not been a single day since the finale aired that i haven't thought about travis saying 'so as it turns out, my life is wherever you are'. that scene, their whole arc in the finale eps, was the perfect ending to travic's story. travis realising he's stuck, having vic ask him to move to dc, saying no but later changing his mind, leading to him surprising vic at the airport?!?!!? its just amazing. we all know travis isn't a very romantic guy, but I'm not being funny, him turning up at the airport and surprising vic is the most romantic thing he's ever done. they both need each other so badly and I'm so glad he realised before it was too late. and no, he is not 'codependent' on vic. there's a difference.
4. first meeting (4x09)
4x09 is a masterpiece of an episode, the best episode in the whole show in my opinion. the entire episode should be highlighted but their first meeting is just so special to me because we see two people meeting for the first time, not knowing that their lives are going to change forever. travis probably was gonna leave firefighting because it was too painful for him until vic showed up. vic made a damn joke, not even a funny joke, and she made travis laugh. she had no idea what the significance of that was. she had no idea she changed his life with one joke. it's just how travis assigning her a locker changed their lives. and now they're in dc changing the country. together.
5. slowdancing at marina's wedding (4x16)
travic went through a lot in season 4, individually and together. but how peaceful this scene was, it was the perfect send-off for the best season of travic there ever was. travis was prepared to put aside his grief and his anger for his best friend because he wanted her to be happy. 'i love you. you're my person. and you always will be' changed so many lives. she's his person. no guy, no fight, no job will ever change that.
honourable mentions: travis taking vic to see ripley for the last time (2x15), travis waking up from the nightmare (6x12), all the travic scenes in 2x01, vic reassuring travis that she's okay after her electrocution (5x05), suuushiiii for breaakkkffaaasstttt hug (7x10)
thanks for reading and pls feel free to discuss in the comments!!!

There are several episodes of 911 and Station 19 I keep going back to. Both shows can get very serious but Station 19 is more heavier in tone than 911 as it is more outlandish and unserious. I praise both shows for being authentically true to their audiences and characters and allowing them to fully be fleshed out, complex, nuanced characters that I love. From Hen, Buck, Bobby, Athena, Maddie, Eddie, to Vic, Andy, Carina, Maya, Jack, Travis, Dean, these characters have been through it all and still, they are the most beautiful, unique and most memorable characters I have seen in years. I thank Oliver, Angela, Peter, Kenneth, Ryan, Aisha, Stefania, Danielle,Jaina , Jay, Barrett, Grey for bringing these characters to life.

Ok so, station 19 finale thoughts.
(Spoilers below the cut)
I really enjoyed the finale, but I think they could have done so much more with these stories and these characters.
I knew they were going to kill someone, did NOT expect it to be Powell, I was worried it would be a main character. Genuinely was shocked
I love carina going with Ben to help deliver the baby in the field
TRAVIC, just that thought alone. This is one of the best (in my opinion) things about this episode. Travis leaving Seattle, the life he had with Michael, and Emmett and Grant and any other relationships that weren’t right for him to be with someone who loves and supports him unconditionally is so important to me. Also the fact that he chooses Vic over Dom (I know in the flash forward we see them together) but being able to prioritise platonic relationships is just <chefs kiss> (I need a spin off following these two and crisis one)
Speaking of Dom, not being afraid to call Travis out on his bullshit. I’m a big fan.
THE DELUCA-BISHOP FAMILY just seeing them build that life together 🥹 and knowing how important it is to both of them (once again - give me a spin-off of these two)
Beckett saying “I don’t have anyone waiting for me” and going to get help, then turning around and seeing the others behind him becuase they weren’t going to let him go alone.
Andy running to get help and putting her life on the line to save her team, echoing her dad venting the roof in the storage fire back in season three. (And them all working to save her)
Pru Miller not being forgotten and eventually joining 19 😭 (and seeing Miranda and Ben at her graduation)
Veterans to firefighters, I wish we could see more of it!!! (Again give me a spin off)
Andy becoming chief at the end, and smiling at her dad’s photo as she leaves.
Vic and Travis’ signatures under the table next to Jack’s
(Not the finale but I love that Jack is still part of their family)
I was a little bit iffy on some things (like Andy and Jack getting back together, because I loved their dynamic as friends) but I can see why they made that decision to let their stories come full circle.
I probably have more to say but I feel like I’m still processing, so here are my initial thoughts.

Victoria Hughes falls for the reader and becomes a stammering mess in front of her. The rest of station 19 finds this adorable and gets them together. A year or so later the team helps Vic pull off an epic proposal. Pure fluff please?
Tumblr media
ᕚ---ᕘ
In Seattle's small fire station, you and Victoria worked side by side with your team to keep the city safe from danger. Hughes was a talented firefighter with an impressive amount of knowledge, but it seemed like her language skills failed every time you tried to communicate with her and have a casual conversation about everyday things. She became a stammering mess.
Unbeknownst to you, the woman with a heart of pure gold had a little secret that caused her language skills to crumble whenever you were near her. The reason for this was due to her inexplicable feelings that she had been harboring for you for quite some time. This love had quietly taken root in her heart, turning any attempt to behave normally with you into a trembling challenge.
Of course, you, as an attentive and kind person, noticed her nervousness, but couldn't quite figure out why. Whenever you tried to talk about the latest mission, the weather forecast, or even lunch, she stuttered and stumbled over her own words. Her otherwise self-confident manner, gave way to a shy insecurity.
Even now, on this beautiful sunny Monday morning, when you stood together in front of the big red fire engine and prepared it for the shift. It was quiet around you, just the familiar hum of everyday firefighter life, as Vic was concentrating entirely on her work while you tried to start a light, funny conversation. "Hey Vic, what exciting things did you do over the weekend?"
Her cheeks flushed and she stopped in her tracks, staring at the floor as she began to stutter nervously. "Uh, yeah. I-I.. I was at the park. Yes, at the park." Despite the short and not really informative sentence, you tried to keep the conversation going. "Oh, that sounds great! Did you do anything specific in the park?"
Vic seemed to get lost in her own thoughts as her eyebrows furrowed and she unnoticed bit her lip before replying hastily. "Yes, I saw birds, lots of birds. They were... flying."
You giggled in amusement at the last sentence that stammered out of her mouth and smiled patiently as you changed the subject. "By the way, I'm thinking about having a little garden party this weekend. Would you like to come over? The whole team has agreed and there are a few from Grey Sloan coming too."
She looked as if she had momentarily lost control of her words as her mouth moved open and closed, but nothing left it. She stared quietly against the red paint on the car, looking at her distorted reflection. "Garden party? Oh, I... that's... I um, party, yeah."
A soft smile played on your lips and you bit the inside of your cheek. The way the conversation was going, it made no sense to continue chatting with her. Victoria was completely freaked out and you tried to calm the situation. "If you have time, just let me know or come by. Saturday, 5 p.m."
You left her to work on the car alone while you found something else to do. During your shift together, you tried to chat with Victoria several times, but each time she seemed trapped in her own world.
During the shift, the team also began to notice how Victoria would turn into a stuttering mess every time you were near her. Your colleagues found it charming and at the same time amusing how such a strong personality softened with the right person. And at lunchtime, as Victoria once again struggled with her words, they exchanged meaningful glances before Travis grinned and whispered to the others. "Look at Vic when Y/n is around. It's like a romantic movie, only without the words."
"I think we have our own romantic drama here. Imagine we're all witnesses to their shy love story!" Maya added with a laugh as she prepared lunch for the team. Gibson couldn't help but laugh, too. "We should tease her a little about it. Even give her some advice on small talk. Or how about a 'How do I win my colleague's heart' workshop from you and Carina, Bishop?"
The entire team agreed and began teasing Victoria in a humorous way. As they did their work, they made tongue-in-cheek comments and tried to give the young woman supposed tips for simple conversations. She took the teasing with a smile and some embarrassment.
In the coming weeks, the team continued its mission to bring you and Victoria closer together. They planned subtle encounters and organized activities where you both could spend time together. This included a weekend team trip to the local park where they made sure you and her were on the same team for different games. It almost seemed as if the entire station 19 had now become a veritable matchmaking team.
During the trip, the team noticed how you slowly started to chat and have fun with each other, while Hughes slowly thawed out. They watched you intently with a mischievous smile and were happy that their little teasing seemed to have a positive effect.
At the end of the day, when Maya, Carina, Travis and Dean met for a beer at a bar, the topic was entirely focused on the two of you and neither managed to steer the conversation in a different direction. "I think Vic has finally activated her mode. Did you see how she dropped her shy demeanor and went all out?“ Maya spoke with interest and the others laughed in agreement.
Everyone was happy that her teasing comments had helped Victoria overcome her nervousness and slowly develop a stronger bond between her and you. However, they had to continue acting to finally hook you up and make you a couple. And so it was that they planned a dinner the next Friday, where you would cook together and then sit comfortably in your apartment and watch a movie.
The idea resonated with both of you, and the team did everything they could to create a relaxed atmosphere. After the successful dinner, Andy managed to get Victoria and you to sit next to each other and get closer. They had casual conversations and created a pleasant atmosphere as they watched you physically move closer together on the couch and you eventually fell asleep leaning on her shoulder while she had her arm wrapped around your waist.
That was the beginning of creating shared cooking evenings that became regular meeting places for Victoria and you alone. As you chopped, fried and seasoned together, a familiar bond developed between you. "Vic, can I ask you something?"
She hummed a yes as she paid attention, concentrating strictly on slicing the carrots as finely as possible. "You've seemed so nervous lately. Is everything okay?"
Frozen, the knife fell out of her hand and onto the wooden board with a loud bang. Her eyes widened and she nervously scraped her fingernails against your kitchen counter before she began to compose herself. "Well, it's just that I... I... I like you, okay? More than just a colleague. It's complicated."
Surprised but flattered, you also put down your cooking utensils and turned to her. With an index finger placed under her chin, you forced her to look you in the eyes. "It's not complicated at all. I like you too, Vic."
You moved closer to her and Vic felt the attraction between you become more intense. A soft smile played on your lips as she held her breath to fully enjoy the moment she had longed for. The silence was broken as she slowly brought her hand to the side of your neck, feeling the warmth of your skin beneath her fingertips.
The environment seemed to slow down as your faces got closer to each other. Your hearts beat in sync and the tension reached its peak. Her lips met yours in a tender but passionate kiss and the world seemed to stand still for a moment as you both lost yourself in this magical moment.
There was an air of wonder and happiness as you pulled away from each other. A smile spread across your faces, and the certainty that this kiss was the start of something special took root deep in your hearts.
ᕚ---ᕘ
Two years had passed since the team had started bringing you and Victoria together. The two of you had not only become good friends, but also an inseparable couple. The love between you had run deep and it was obvious that something big was about to happen.
"Hey guys, I really need your help!" Victoria quacked from behind as she once again entered the fire station to start her shift and looked around nervously. A few faces, startled by the sudden break in the silence, suddenly turned back and examined the worn expression on her faces. "Sure, what's up? Are you okay?"
She cleared her throat profusely, rubbing her hands nervously as she stood shakily on her legs. "So you know that y/n and I are happy together, and now I'm planning on proposing to her."
Joy suddenly trembled on the faces of all teammates at station 19, as the idea was tangible and already clearly in the air. Beams of laughter and wide grins filled the room as loud clapping filled the atmosphere. Everyone came in a group hug, squeezing Vic between them with joy. "Oh my God! Congratulations!"
"Thank you. But I need your help. I really want to make it epic because she's a special person but I have no idea how to do it!" She said desperately, resembling a small defiant child as she folded her arms over her chest and stomped the ground in desperation. "That sounds like a mission for the best team in the world!"
The team enthusiastically agreed to Dean's objection, and they soon began preparations. Secretly, whenever you weren't around, they brainstormed ideas together and tried to come up with the best plans to present to Victoria. Carina, who was romantically inclined, immediately suggested something. "How about a surprise dinner in a special place with a romantic trail of clues leading to a heart made of candles? It's sure to be unforgettable."
Victoria nodded enthusiastically, but thought about how she should do it. "The special place is definitely Station 19. This is where we met. That all sounds really sweet, but how do I organize it all without her noticing?"
Travis and Dean nodded together, while they also crossed their arms under their chest and looked at her. They already knew how they were going to do it all. "Don't worry, we already have a few ideas. We'll all do the decorations, the coordination and maybe even the distraction so she doesn't notice. We'll conjure up something magical for her."
The team organized and staged a seemingly ordinary operation to lure Victoria and you out of the fire station. Meanwhile, the team at Station 19 prepared everything for the big moment. When you both returned, you found the fire station bathed in soft candlelight.
You looked around in surprise, but your surprise turned into slight confusion as you didn't understand what was going on. “Did the power go out?” you whispered to yourself, and shortly after, the whole team appeared on the second floor catwalk. "Welcome to a special evening in our 'Love Station'!"
A trail of rose petals led you both to a lovingly set table on the roof of the fire station. The team had prepared a delicious dinner accompanied by romantic music and a breathtaking view of all of Seattle and the stars that you both enjoyed together.
When the dessert was served, they all came back upstairs and waited for the wonderful moment that they had been waiting for for a long time. Andy was there to hand you an envelope. "This is for you, y/n," she spoke with a wide grin and you hesitantly opened the letter. A handwritten letter was in your hands, with a heartfelt text from Victoria, who expressed her love in romantic sentences and ended with the words 'Will you marry me?'
Surprised and overjoyed, you turned to Victoria, who had already fallen to the floor in front of you on one knee and presented a sparkling engagement ring with both a bright smile and clear tears in her eyes. "Yes. I want to marry you. More than anything."
The team, who had been watching the scene with their hearts pounding, burst into loud cheers and almost simultaneously shouted their congratulations as they approached you one by one and pulled you into their arms. They were all excited to be part of the emerging story of you and Victoria.
It was a moment full of love, friendship and shared history as the fire station became a place where not only flames but hearts were ignited.

Watched Station 19 7x07.
It was sweet, and heartfelt.
And also sweet sadness and bittersweet.
And I love that Theo still got it bad for Vic. These two better be endgame, they are not perfect but they are perfect for each other.
And even though Travis was completely trash for cheating on Eli, this new awkward flirting with Dominic was super cute, I like Dominic, he's so hot, kind of look like he could rein in the challenge that is sweet gorgeous outrageous Travis.
And don't even get me started about Beckett and Maya scene, I found it even more emotional as the aftermath of talking to her brother than the actual talk.
Sober, team player, saved and admiring Vic for saving his life, Beckett is my favorite thing, character arc perfectly done, I am kissing Shonda's imaginary ring.
And the team talking budget suggestions was so important, they are more than a firehouse, more than a family, they are one and they are a team. Even Theo, even when he doesn't work for 19 anymore, they are bonded!!
This episode, with so many more moments that I didn't mention but loved anyway, was 10 across the board.
S7 station 19 - I am with you! I love you!
