Here is the MG Duel Gundam, piloted by local angry wet cat Yzak.
I always liked it blue and orange colors with light gray in model kit form, and shedding armor gimmicks is one of my favorite mecha things of all time. It's about $40 and comes with a lot of accessories so I'd say pretty worth it.
(I'll reblog with more pictures because there were a lot and I had fun posing with all the accessories)
#the only issue was the front skirt on the assault shroud that bsrely holds on#also you might notice i broke the vfin and had to fix it with tamiya plastic cement#the vfin is fragile is most gundams but it broke on this becauae i had to use a lot of force to take off the head and my hand hit the vfin#the joints are very tight and supposedly hold up well over time

Here we go - the Morioh MS Team! (No Rohan - Battle Teens Only!)
Josuke's CD99 Crazy Diamond - hard to see at this angle but I did add a vent piece by the Vfin to give it a pomp. Built around the arms of the Bolt Gundam because I really wanted him to get Gia Crusher and that move is linked to the arms. It's the only suit in the line up without funnels
Okuyasu's BC-H99 The Hand - Built around the Dark Army arms due to the spiked wrists. The Jagd Doga head may not be the squarest head, but it has the same problem as The Hand - Awkward Blind Spots. Not shown here, he has 2 atomic bazookas: closest you can get to just erasing somebody.
Koichi's Echoes MK2 - oddly uses a lot of leftovers from the Jagd Doga with other bits here and there. As the name implies it was mostly based on Echoes Act 2. It has the most funnels of the Morioh MS Team.
Yukako's DokiDoki Deluxe - Mostly a bash of the Noble Gundam and the Sinanju with the backpack of the Rozen Zuku. Also has the face guard of the Turn A Gundam used to add Horns to the hair.

So I know that there’s people out there who are afraid of attempting their first customized kit- Be it paint, mods, whatever, so I thought it would be fun if I brought attention to some of my creations that I wasn’t happy with, had no idea what I was doing at the time, and/or it could have been better if things went another way, etc.
But thats the point.
You shouldn’t fear failure, inadequacy, imperfections, etc.
It’s ok to make mistakes, accidentally snap off a vfin, misalign something, etc. If you accidentally botch something, it’s not the end of the world, nor should you assume its as a sign to give up either; it happens to everyone at one point or another. Just take it as something to learn from, and if you ever revisit this idea later, you’ll have better knowledge going into it. You can ask for help, seek out advice, get pointers from others, etc, it’s ok if you need assistance. Your customs don’t need to be highly elaborate either, because any way you modify a kit will end up making it unique in its own way.

in my gundam setting the vfins are heat radiators for the head located sensor arrays and thus would glow when maximizing data intake

Gundam AU musings. Would Sasha prefer a fully close-combat oriented mobile suit or would she still opt for some range? Well, her progression so far has been from run of the mill grunt suit while still in The Federation, to the one I'm asking about now.
I'm doing a custom build yet again because I'm trying to do this for all of the Gundam AU suit designs, and I was thinking maybe she would be game for her mobile suit to have drill knees. Kinda like the kimaris vidar. Her twin heron blades will be physical weapons, changing to standard beam sabers once she gets a gundam.
(Ignore the bugs bunny bedsheets but that's gonna be part of the leg, maybe the upper thigh portion of the mobile suit will either be from a 30mm kit or so)
I also tried to make Sasha's mobile suit head more similar to a hyaku shiki, esp given she's the Char clone for this AU but will involve less moral ambiguity. So ofc I used a 30mm alto Commander head armor piece minus the vfin, I'll probably attach these HG Barbatos head armor pieces on the side. Then maybe browse through my scrap pile to see how else to modify the head unit. Note that this is still for her non-gundam mobile suit, her gundam is going to be vastly different and harder to kitbash because of the Psychoframe opening parts.
