✨️ New Year, New M- Same Hot Mess ✨️

It’s my birthday today, so I thought I’d give everyone a small update about my plans for this year. (In reality, I just wanted to scream “IT’S MY BIRTHDAY” at you all, but let’s pretend this is productive.)

So, my grand master plan for the new year was to follow this super organized schedule for all my WIPs. And guess what? My brain took one look at that and went, "LMAO, no."

So, instead, I'm focusing on finishing the rest of my New Year Kisses—because hey, better late than never, right? Unfortunately, that means I'm totally missing my spot in the VoxTek Winter Prompt collection (RIP my precious spot, it was nice while it lasted). Oh, and remember that Lucifer Angst story? Yeaaaahhhh, that was supposed to be out two weeks ago—but 🎆 surprise 🎆, it’s getting yeeted onto the back burner. Again.

For those of you following my ongoing rivalry with Kit, you’ll be delighted to know that I am officially following in her footsteps of procrastination. She has this fic, 🌻 Sunflower 2 🌻 that she’s been hyping up for literally forever, only to keep pushing the release back every season like a fashion collection. Well, folks… I regret to inform you that I have become her. //insert audible gasp

And the reason? Blame @peach-flavored-flambe

That little chaos-reigned gremlin handed me a ✨️ new ✨️ hyperfixation, and now I’m knee-deep in a mini series.

The only hint I’ll give you?

Transmigration.

I can already hear some of you gagging, “Ughhh, that trope is so overdone!” And to that, I say: Do you trust me? (Answer: Do Not)

Chaos reigns, schedules are a lie, and I’ll see you all when I post the rest of my New Year Kisses and then...imma be busy drafting since I learned my lesson to not post a series when it's not done (higher chance of discontinuance).

A Blog Update... In This Economy?

*I have to say that the patience and kindness of you, my followers, has filled me with determination. I’ve been working hard, and I am proud to announce that I can now sit at the computer and type without swelling and pain!

*So what does this mean?

I’m back!

*I will be closing the asks tomorrow so that I can clear the askbox out. I worry that I will be making active users wait while I answer matchups or questions for inactive accounts or people who may no longer be in the fandom. *I am also introducing a Lamia Bittybones Match-up Machine for people to use on Quotev. I had several people help me test the Machine, and my thanks go out to them for taking the time to do so.

Jo, this is for your 💕 anon! The otome game is a genius idea and I want to add to that a bit! I had this idea while I was taking a shower so bare with me, my hands are still wet while I'm typing this! These games also have some VAs do a couple lines so you can hear your faves say some nice romantic things (I wouldn't know, a friend told me about it 😂).

Since this game is for pro heroes they could have asked them to record some lines to make the game better for their fans and most of them did but bakugou being bakugou refused because he thought it was a waste of his time! So when he sees you play the game and making a comment about how everyone's voice sounds so much like the real hero but they didn't choose the right VA for him, he changes his mind! He makes his PR contact the creators of the game and goes in the studio to record some lines but he doesn't say exactly what the writers told him, instead he uses the pet names he had for you (princess for example). He does it so you can hear him call you that again because he can no longer do it in person! So you download the latest update of the game and immediately comment on how they finally got his voice right without knowing that it's actually him! And he sees the way you pause when you hear the word princess for the first time and your mind goes back to when you were still together and he called you that and how you struggle to hold back the tears and end the stream much earlier than usual (throwing a little but of angst here)

Basic info about our club + list of members

As we all know, sso's filters are kinda crappy... so this is both club info for us and for you!

We were originally called Glorious Dodos Girls, but that was when I made it. Aka around five or six years ago. Back then I thought I was cis and that all other members would be cis girls as well. I was. VERY wrong about that. So we renamed it to Glorious Dodos Guild.

I like to say that we officially started being a club 14. 4. 2020, because that's when I got some of my friends into playing, but we weren't GDGuild until 20. 8. 2020, so I guess that could be our anniversary too.

This blog is for everything GDG related. When we have a meeting, I write a report about it just for fun. These reports are under #club events log. Other tags we use here are #clibart for art, #wow the clib is real! for things unrelated to sso like chat screenshots, and #anniversary for. well. anniversary content.

And yes, the "clib" and "meatings" is intentional. It's an inside joke.

Nott squeaks as long arms wrap around her and she’s lifted off the ground. “Hey!” she manages to get out, struggling against her kidnapper. “Shh, it’s just me,” Caleb whispers. “Caleb? What are you doing?” Nott asks as he carried her back to his spot in the grass. “I’m keeping my little friend from freezing to death, even though she’s pretending she’s not cold,” Caleb says.

Nott and Caleb sort out sleeping arrangements after busting out of the jail cell where they met. It takes a bit of getting used to.

Miss.Vex, im a bit worried. When i went out to put out more cat food for the stray cats we have and i spotted either a pygmy or a corny (i couldnt tell, very dirty). He was some of the cat food and it looked like he had a hatchling with him. I couldnt really here what he was saying but he said something about others. Should i have one of my bitties follow him next time i see him?

*This could be a very serious situation for the lamia bittybones involved. Lack of grooming can be a sign of depression, malnutrition, or even magical illness in a lamia bitty (similar to cats who stop grooming). It is especially worrying if the lamia bitty has a hatchling with him. The lamia you saw may have severely depleted magic from a recent clutch of eggs. 

*Wild lamias may be fearful of humans, and additional stress could cause his health to deteriorate further. Having a bitty follow the Pygmy or Corny without his knowledge could also be dangerous, especially with a hatchling involved. The best course of action would be to have your bitty introduce themselves while the wild lamia bitty is gathering food supplies. It’s better to find out what the situation is like before approaching an unknown group of lamia bittybones.

*You may also want to monitor the cat food to make sure no stray cats attack the lamia bitty while he is coming in to collect food. Please keep me updated and let me know if you’d like Edgar or Waffle to come in and help with the situation!
