I’ve been waiting to design cub for AGES so this was so so fun :D had to go out of my way to make him as much of a Freak (/aff) as possible <3

So, I just started watching Cubfan's pov of Hermitcraft Season 9 and to me, seeing him nonchalantly fighting an army of blaze to get their blaze rods just to make "Coffee" potions- from a mob that normally burns the tar outta me- has got to be one of the most raddest things ever. So I drew it.

Headcanon 26

Part of Vexling nature is they hold grudges, and they get physically violent. To stop anyone else facing this, and because they kinda enjoy it, Cub and Scar get aggressive and grumpy with each other.

They start by playing monopoly, the board game that always frustrates them (there is one game from Season 5 they still argue over to this day). And they let the vex goad them towards argument, cheating, very foul Vex swearing, and eventually hand-to-hand combat.

Once Cub and Scar are properly riled up, they go at each other with far more aggression that Xisuma would advise. It's just claws out, dirty brawling in the dust, and they it enjoy massively. They only stop when both are too tired to continue, there's risk of serious injury, other Hermits notice, or (very rarely) one of them manages to win.

At this point, the least-injured/the winner has the reward of caring for the other, treating their injuries, and they choose the film they watch, snuggled together, before one or both of them passes out from exhaustion.

Once in Season 10, not knowing much about the Vex, saw Cub and Scar mid-brawl, freaked out, sent possession and Cub and Scar's emergency words out to the entire server and dragged Xisuma over to help. By this point, the fight was over, and Cub and Scar kindly explained everything to Skizz, as Xisuma told the server there was no risk of ConVex take over or deadly pranks. And then Cub and Scar were told off. So they apologised and found somewhere further away to do it
