As someone who was a teenager and had older friends it's perfectly easy to have a normal friendship. My older friends taught me how to horse ride, stack hay bales, and cheat at jenga. No manipulations or grooming involved at all.
Manipulations Dream, who does 10,000 manipulations a day, is an outlier adn should not have been counted.

Someone referred to my work’s staff as “diversity hires” in a derogatory manner the other day, which is wild because we’re almost a perfect cross section of the industry in our region. We’re a growing hospital and turn over in veterinary medicine is wretched, so we are always hiring and will interview anyone. Women are wildly overrepresented in vet med, so we’re mostly women. We’re majority white because Portland is majority white. Queer people are overrepresented in both vet med and Portland, and we reflect that too. So I’m left to speculate as to what on earth they meant. What strained their credulity? The single Black woman amongst our reception staff? The one white guy who uses a cane? A Hispanic woman who is a doctor??? (We actually have two of those, we have a lot of doctors.) Someone with visible tattoos?

This animal went to the vet today for her annual check-up and she got some anxiety drugs for her old dog brain. Then she got some chicken from my wrap at Sheetz.

ugh, i can't indulge in my man-hating as deeply as i want to on here. i'll find blogs that resonate with my beliefs towards them, scroll 4 posts down and find out they're a transphobe. and as much as i despise men, i cannot bring myself to hate trans people. i'm sure there are toxic mtf trans people who haven't unlearned their male entitlement, who want to continue hurting women by invading female spaces, but this group as a whole faces their own oppression and are not the sources and upholders of patriarchy.
unlike cis men who are by and large all bad, it's a demographic that actually requires our discernment to not exclude and hurt those who don't mean us harm. we should be critical of cis women too, who we all know are not innocent by default since a huge chunk of them choose to love and support men and their heinous behavior. and even then, i am willing to be understanding (to a point) since i understand patriarchal brainwashing is a hell of a fucking drug that usually takes some kind of trauma to wake up from.

Man some dog folk will really take the basic question asked by vet techs: “what do you feed?” as “my vet is trying to SELL me on this other garbage food!!11”. Really bothers me.
#dogblr#did you know your vet can and should have conversations with clients#about what the dog consumes ona. daily basis???#I’ve never met a single vet that has tried to sell me on a specific diet#besides the freee bag of kibble customarily given to all new puppy owners at my practice#nobody is forcing you to feed anything.#a vet can have concerns about the nutritional value of the raw or homemade you feed#bc that can affect dogs MEDICALLY#it is not ‘being against raw’#anyways.

Not my cat flirting with every pet sitters I get him during my vacations lmao
#misc#this year it's a man#i was lowkey worried cause my cat don't know many men#(idk if they even can tell the difference tbh lmfao)#but this hoe of a cat smelled him and immediately targeted his legs#sometimes i wonder if he wouldn't cheat on me with another human if he had a chance dusjsjjejz#anyway the guy is a young man and as someone who struggled when i was younger#i feel like doing a good action paying someone to do a cool job#(i mean cleaning the litter is not exactly a fun job but getting paid to pet a cat is)#also i met him through my physio who knows everyone#because last year i chose a pet sitter through a pet sitting website#but it was hella expensive#and it's basically a scam cause i paid something like 150€ but only 50€ was for the pet sitter the other was for that shit website#fuck start-ups#anyway i decided to do it the old fashioned way#through social relationships#but i struggled cause i have not social relationships???#except for coworkers#but I don't want coworkers to go to my home#that's an absolute no#it'd be a violation plus i am ashamed of my home and shit#so i prefer someone I don't know at all#so if i get judged it has no consequences#(yes i have trust issues)#so i had to actually gather my courage and ask my physio if she knew someone because she works with lot of young adults and teens#and turns out the mom of the man was here and she said she'll ask him#can't go wrong with someone vetted by hus own mother lol#anyway he said cats are his favourite pets so we're good#Loki definitely sensed that he can plays him like fiddle

Unless your a hardcore bootlicker for the police and somehow justify what they did to those poor dogs, please sign and spread this petition as the officers that saw fit to be judge and executioner are so far receiving no consequences for their actions to the point of the police on twitter spreading what looks to be a false story to justify their actions and even clearing themselves of any wrong-doings after body cam footage was looked at, aka police trying to cover for themselves once more.
