#im fine im not even in real pain #but its very annoying that i cannot see a doctor to start antivirals today #and very funny that it shows up ON CHRISTMAS #like fr most places should be closed on major and a lot of 'minor' holidays #but i feel like the urgent care is one place that really needs to be open #and the staff should be properly compensated for working xmas #oh well guess i start them tomorrow.

i feel like this is a topic that needs more than just a tumblr post to fully expand on but. i think that in modern-day christian culture we place WAY too much emphasis on Feeling and Emotion . and i think that this attitude is part of the reason why the most common struggle you hear is "God isn't speaking to me/I can't hear God". feels like the standard set is that you're constantly feeling a Supernatural presence and it's Big and Obvious and it Shows and you can't contain it... when that's just not it. God can be quiet. God can nudge. God's voice is contained in the Bible that you hold between your hands. If you're not "hearing Him" then maybe your expectation of what hearing Him is is flawed.

I shouldnt bc it doesnt matter but I do anyway bc of who I am #but also I shouldnt bc it works out fine lol. I think the juxtaposition/gap moe comes through #for context theyre in the far future of the year 2092 about #and the majority of the crew are deeply involved with contemporary tech. half of them got body mods. one of them's a robot #riz is the navigator (fabian's the first captain and the one assembling the crew). he does everything on paper with a pencil #he has a school calculator from our current time. the crew's had to wrestle a comm link onto him #his translator link has been mutilated to stop all wireless transmission. he is also under 5 feet in height and looks Like That #I think its great that he honestly coheres very well despite all appearances. in every life possible it must be wild that he owns a gun #and also the idea of fabian slowly waking up to the realization that he's somewhat responsible for a buncha babies is awesome to me #good luck buddy. hold out for two more years and labour court will no longer be on ur ass

#rare WIP preview from me #this is in like. 10 episodes. lmfao #its been really hard working this far ahead #my editor isnt giving me any feedback and my friends are very busy so it's felt quite lonely #which is fine! for my friends I mean. but its my editors job to give me feedback...#but the webtoon editors are extremely extremely extremely overworked and my series is set to end so I understand its low priority #its not her fault its webtoons fault. however. its still demotivating...#oh well l m a o #I should be much further ahead ngl LMFAO I want like 12 done but I come back in 2 weeks.#we'll see #when I get really stressed out I go full gamer mode #and usually I'll sink like 60 hours (like 5 days) into a game and then I'm good and move on #but this recent game that grabbed me is. its too much actually #bit uncontrollable ngl I think its an ADHD thing I mostly have just quit playing videogames at all #cause its like yeah being stressed cause theres too much work to do is not going to be helped by losing a week and a half to a game...#and yet.#anyways the game is satisfactory #my friend bought it for me and we've been playing together #and our shared file has. 100 hours on it. and we still havent beaten the game #we're close to beating it and it's not like we're rushing or anything #cause its fun to fuck around and zap eachother or whatever #but it's got me doing math. the exact kind of math I love to do. optimization #and its reminding me yeah in another life id have been an engineer #I'm glad I'm an artist but its always weird like yeah this is easily a path I could have gone down #'artists hate math' speak for yourself doing math calms me down! #my art #my ocs #illustration #original art #I've been really pleased with my recent MSpaint illustrations these past few weeks hehe!!#I suppose it's just the simplicity of the program that helps me create mini narratives throughout them #I'm about to craft some snippits of story and hopefully whoever looks at them can point out those tiny details #As for these two in general I've been on a grind to draw more four-legged animals so here we are!!#I have to say hooved beasts like elk are deceivingly simple #I understand the bones and underlying structures fine/ it's just capture that accurate look at gets me #In my case its mostly the hindlegs and ankles I'll need to keep praciting #I'll need to do more proper studies in the future because as you see these two are very stylized and I just needed things to look 'right'#BUT from what I've learned and what I've drawn I'm happy with the elk I drew so all is well and cheerful hehe
