WorldBuilding Log One

This is a project I have been working on for ages and want to build as a DnD campaign setting that can use the existing monster/species ect.

The "Present" is set around the spawn of a region called the Scorchlands, a seemingly cursed, burned area in the centre of the continent.

Many things exist, much of which are without names or only have placeholder names.

Above is the finalised state map. There are 13 states. They are each unique and have their own relationships with other territories.

I need codependent Danny/Jason as a little treat (for me) and I love the idea of them having some sort of instant connection the moment they meet (bc ghost stuff idk)

Danny who's been dropped in Gotham with no way home (alt universe??) and he's been here for 36 hours and having a Very bad time senses a liminal being and immediately latches onto them heedless of the fact that his new best friend is shooting at some seedy guys in an alley and goes off about how stressed he is and how he can't make it back to the ghost zone and what a bad day he's been having (and it's important to note Danny is a littol ghost boy literally hanging off of Jason's neck as he floats aimlessly) and Jason is like "who are you??" And Danny is like "oh sorry I'm Danny lol" and then just continues lamenting his woes

And honestly ? This might as well happen. Nothing about this Danny guy(is he human?) gives Jason a bad vibe and tbh he's never felt more calm and level headed before so he just keeps up his usual Red Hood patrol and doesn't even think about it when he heads back to a safehouse and feeds Danny dinner (breakfast) before crashing for half the day

The only thing I actually need is Jason meeting up with the bats for some sort of Intel meeting and they're like "uhhh who's that" and Jason is like "that's Danny." And does not elaborate (very ".... What do you have there?" "A smoothie" vibes)

And it takes them a while to realize that these two have known each other for less than 12 hours and are literally attached at the hip

i was thinking of it a group of animus existing around the northen sky kingdom and getting their animus powers from icewing relatives and forming their own little tribe this would take place about 4000 years before the main books, so my headcannon is that the tribes really havent fully formed yet and the land is much more divided between local populations (also the dragon species intermingle a lot more than in modern times) im still cooking some stuff up but my idea was that this group of animus tried to rule over as much territory as possible and were just generally tyrants, after they died, the skywings would try to kill any animus in fear of another tyrannical ruler

thinking of making a wof fanfic explaining why the skywings kill their animus by making an evil skywing animus....

Hey everyone! this is where the zebra is currently with the design.

It has knee braces!! I will most probably be drawing the zebra usually with them on, but it’s no requirement, for example if anyone else wants to draw the zebra :-]. I always like to make sure an animal design has official colors underneath any clothing and accessory anyway. I think this will be final! thank you everyone for your feedback!

As a reminder, aside from why the zebra was requested for this flag, this is also just a zebra with the disability pride flag on it. It’s just a deisgn to fit the flag, with input from other disabled people in our community. It doesn’t mean other animals can’t have designs with these colors, too! I don’t mean this design to be the only mascot for all disabled people. It’s just a silly series i do of pride animals, and at the time, during disability pride month, I wanted to see what everyone wanted me to start off with for this flag!

the goal with my pride animals is to take requests and make people feel happy and seen.. that’s all <:-)

Hey y'all! I think I've asked this before, but do you have any home remedies/advice for handling muscle cramps, knots, and/or spasms? I'm staying well hydrated, taking electrolyte supplements, and using a hot water bottle as my current management method but it's not working super great this time Also, crafting updates may be delayed on account of ouch

nothing ever excites me more than a spontaneous genshin, or more particularly, mondstadt discovery. i sat diluc upon the barbatos statue as a nice spot to go afk on without being interrupted by repetitive idle animations and voicelines (sorry diluc, this is nothing personal). my volume was turned up more than regularly by accident, and my in-game music was off despite how much i like the original game soundtrack. aNYHOW- i was about to go afk when i heard some strange noises that i didn't recall hearing in mondt before. it made me pause and turn my volume up even more. in the video above, it's kind of hard to discern the brief sounds over the noise of the wind up on the statue and in mondstadt in general, but when the wind dies down a little, you can distinctly hear voices of people, and what shocked me the most – neighs of horses. i have no clue whether it is just me discovering this only now, after 4 years of playing this godforsaken game and clearly not having paid enough attention to mondstadt's sfx before, but i still felt the need to share this terribly interesting tidbit in case there's other clueless mondstadt enthusiasts like me.

He knew he shouldn't say it.

He knew he shouldn't think about it. He shouldn't wish for it. He especially shouldn't say it.

He loved Jorge. He loved his boyfriend and he wouldn't want him any other way. He didn't want him to be anyone else.

He loved that he was a rider. He loved seeing him ride. He loved his enthusiasm and his love for the bikes. He loved that he understood his own love for his job and that he matched it. He loved that they could do as they were currently doing.

But right now he hated it. But right now it felt all so messy and chaotic. It felt wrong to feel so right.

He wanted a normal life. No cameras. No hiding. He wanted that no one gave a fuck about them if they kissed or hold hands or anything like that.

He wanted to be normal. Or at least. Easier. He didn't want to deal with having to hide because he was dating a motogp champion. He didn't want to keep a secret from Marc because he knew Marc wouldn't understand. He didn't want to sneak around. He was tired of being a dirty little secret.

He was so tired and today it boiled over.

He had to say it. So he said it silently. He whispered it, for no one to be heard. He just said it to the universe, trusting the void to swallowed and hide it.

But none of his wished got granted as a voice behind him suddenly spoke.

"And you think I wanted to fall for the younger brother of a rival?"

He spun around in shock. Jorge stood there, looking at him. He had heard what he had said. His eyes were empty. There was no sign of hate, sadness or disappointment. He just looked empty. As if he had expected that.

Alex froze, feeling caught. Like a deer in the headlights. He wasn't supposed to hear that.

I am debating changing it completely so we don't mistake it but the problem is that I am completely in love with this sillouette so T_T

Chay's confidence is shaky at the start but HEY GUESS WHO SAVES HIM AND GIVES HIM A CHANCE AT THE LAST MOMENT AND BECOMES HIS MENTOR?
