     It appears that he has fallen asleep against a staircase, quietly snoring away. This isn't exactly the best place to rest as the sky is threatening to dump rain onto the town below. Getting drenched is definitely not preferred, so being woke up by a person would be for the best.

     A light-hearted laugh rings from his throat, somewhat amused by the tiny pout that Nagisa is wearing. The smaller isn't one that angers easily ( as far as he knows ), so the brunet doesn't worry too much. Gripping the edge of the pool, Makoto pulls himself out of the water, brushing his bangs back to keep the chlorine-treated liquid from getting in his eyes. "Ah, sorry about that! I wound up coming by a little earlier than expected, so I didn't really give word to anyone else that I was here."

"Of course I did, Mako-chan!" His lips form a pout as he crosses his arms, looking down at the elder as if he were upset (but in reality, he wasn’t because it was Nagisa and he wasn’t exactly known to be upset when it came to his friends). "You didn’t tell me you were going out and practicing already!”

     "Ah, sorry, I didn't see you there!" Makoto, getting as distracted as Haruka does in water is not the best idea. "Did you come by to swim too?"

     "I-I'm sorry about running into you like that! I should have been watching where I was going--" This is what happened when he was too focused on watching the sky. Good job, Makoto.

... Bat-like ears? That was a new way to describe one's hearing abilities.

As Ibuki moved around him, emerald optics followed her. He blinked twice, taking note of just how tiny this girl was. If anything, she was only about Gou's height. Keeping that little tidbit to himself would be best, however, if Makoto didn't want to be called out for pointing out a lady's height.

The swimmer flinched when Ibuki came to a halt. He thought on the question for a moment before laughing softly and shaking his head. "Ah, I was going to ask you that. You looked a little lost, so I was wondering if you needed help."

“Oi oi oi, Ibuki hears with her bat-like ears—- a stranger!”

She scrunches up her features, giving a hum of contemplation as she walks around the brunet. He was….he was very tall. As was most of the people around her, which sucked. It sucked being tiny.

“Yeah!” With a humph of triumph, Mioda placed her hands on her hips as she finally stopped in front of him. “Y’need any help, Stranger-chan? Ibuki knows all, have you heard?”

     Oh dear, this person appeared to be lost. Whether the stranger's attention was gained or otherwise, Makoto trotted over. Might as well ask if they really were in need of help, right?
