Fills the Only 1 Bed square for @storiesofsvu's Holiday Bingo 2024
Pairing: Sonny Carisi x female reader

A/N: my Christmas present to you – my first attempt dipping my toes into smut! I’m very much a beginner writing in this genre, and want to improve my skills so I can do my saucy ideas justice. So please bear with me as I’m learning <3
Also posted on AO3
Today was your first holiday spent with Sonny’s family. While you’d already met his parents and sisters individually, this was your first time fully immersed in the Carisi clan. Sonny wasn’t worried about it, but you were irrationally concerned about making a good impression. It was important to you that they thought you were a good match for Sonny.
His sisters seemed to like you, and his nieces and nephews thought you were pretty cool. But you had a hard time getting a read on his mother. She was cordial, smiling whenever you chatted. But her demeanor seemed guarded, if not a little cold. Definitely not the enthusiasm you’d hoped for. But you were dating her one and only son, her baby boy, so her trepidation was not unexpected.
It was getting dark outside, and the snow was falling much harder than forecasted. Because of the late hour and the unfavorable weather, Sonny’s parents offered to let everyone stay at their house for the night. When Mrs. Carisi divvied up the rooms amongst all the guests, somehow, the only one left for you and Sonny was Gina and Bella’s childhood bedroom. Which you wouldn’t have minded, except for one thing…
Gina and Bella had shared bunk beds.
Mrs. Carisi tried to play innocent. “What do you want me to do? It’s the only bed left. You wanna sleep in the closet?” But you strongly suspected this was her not so subtle way of hinting that she didn’t want any out-of-wedlock shenanigans happening under her roof.
You and Sonny entered the bedroom, dumbfounded how you found yourself in this situation. The walls were covered in pastel floral wallpaper that reminded you of the 80s. Next to the closet sat a well-worn oak dresser with scuffs along the side—probably from having the closet door slammed into it. The window was adorned with pink striped curtains that appeared to have been homemade, perhaps by Mrs. Carisi. And at the back of the room stood the dreaded set of bunk beds.
The closer you got, the smaller the beds seemed.
“You have got to be kidding me.” Sonny rubbed the back of his neck nervously. He’d like to say he was surprised, but this honestly wasn’t even the craziest of his mother’s antics. “I, uh, I could go talk to Ma…” he trailed off as he glanced at you hesitantly, looking for you to tell him what to do next.
You thought about it for a split second, but the defeated look on his face told you that Sonny didn’t want to fight with his mom tonight. “No, it’s fine. It’s just for one night, anyways.” As utterly silly as this was, you were still worried about making a good impression with his mother. You thought there was the slightest chance you’d earn her respect if you went along with this madness.
Relief washed over Sonny’s face. He made a mental note to thank God at Mass tomorrow for blessing him with such an understanding girlfriend. He looked back at the bunk beds, reminded of the uncomfortable night ahead of him. With a deep sigh, he accepted his fate. “Okay, roomie, which bunk do you want?”
“Which would you be more comfortable in?” You wanted to be mindful of his size. You weren’t necessarily tiny, but certainly smaller than him.
His eyes darted between you and the beds before gesturing to his lengthy frame. “Babe, it’s not gonna make a difference.”
“Well…” A wicked smirk crept onto your lips. “I’ve never slept in a bunk bed before.” You mischievously climbed up the ladder to claim the top bunk as yours.
Sonny rolled his eyes, but he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t charmed by your childish spirit. “Alright, doll, you can be on top tonight.” You glared at his immature joke, but desperately tried to suppress the warmth rising in your cheeks. “Why don’t you get down from there so we can get ready for bed?”
Sonny stripped down to his boxers and undershirt, offering you his dress shirt to sleep in. He had worn his blue and white polka dot one, which was your favorite on him. You shamelessly held the shirt to your face. Breathing in its musky scent, enjoying the warmth still clinging to the fabric.
While getting ready, you turned to see Sonny struggling as he tried to squish himself into the bedframe. He regretted he hadn’t taken you up on that offer to join your yoga class. He bonked his head against the wall and jammed his knee into the bedpost. Too exhausted to be fighting a literal piece of furniture, he resigned himself to sticking his feet off the edge and resting his arm on the floor.
Swallowing your giggles, you tiptoed to the bed, kneeling to look at a very defeated Sonny. “Are you going to be okay down here?” You had to whisper otherwise you’d bust out into a cackle.
“Oh, yeah, just like a five-star hotel.” At least he was able to fit his sense of humor in there.
You exchanged “I love yous” and a quick kiss, then you climbed up to your own bunk. It took a minute of tossing and turning, but you found a comfortable position for the night.
Fifteen minutes later, you were on the edge of sleep when you heard Sonny let out a disgruntled groan. The bed started to shift. Before you knew it, Sonny was up the ladder, crawling into your bunk.
“No, no, Sonny! What’re you doing?” You quietly tried to shoo him, afraid he’d break the bed. Ignoring your protests he tried to squeeze in beside you.
“Doll, it’s cold down there,” he whined. You knew that was a lie. Sonny, true to his name, radiated heat like the sun. He was never cold.
You playfully tilted your head and raised your eyebrow. “You sure you weren’t just lonely?”.
Sonny was grateful the darkness hid his boyish blush. It was an awkward dance trying to get you both to fit. Giggles erupted as your legs and arms tangled together. Eventually, Sonny pulled you on top of him, wrapping his arms around your waist. You curled up under his chin, finally settling.
You tried to fall asleep but were distracted by the gently snoring man beneath you. You felt enveloped by his warmth, intoxicated by the smell of his cologne. You knew this was quite possibly the worst time and place to be horny, but you couldn’t ignore the heat growing in your belly. You needed to relieve the tension, so you slowly ground into Sonny.
You felt a groan reverberate in his chest. “Doll, whatcha doin’?” His voice was low, thick with sleep.
“Well, you were complaining about being cold.” You ground your hips harder into his, hoping he would get the message.
Sonny’s laugh was cut off by a wanton moan. He slowly tightened his hands around your hips. You felt him growing hard beneath you.
Your message was clearly received.
He gently flipped you onto your back. “You're gonna be the death of me, ya know that...possibly literally.” He looked over the side of the bed, gauging how far the ground was.
He knew this was a bad idea. But you were so effortlessly beautiful laid out beneath him, wearing nothing but panties and his shirt. His desire for you had been building all night. Watching you blend in so easily with his crazy family, strutting around in your green party dress. He’d barely been able to keep his hands to himself. Now, hovering above you, his resolve was quickly slipping away. Your skin was soft under his fingertips, and he could smell remnants of your gingerbread perfume. You felt like the perfect Christmas present—handpicked just for him, waiting to be unwrapped. How could he resist?
He pulled you into a searing kiss. You kissed him back with the same intensity, rubbing your hands up and down his back. You moaned into his mouth, louder than you’d intended. Sonny shushed you, reminding you that you had to be quiet. You carefully peeled Sonny out of his undershirt. A goofy smile spread onto his face as he watched you struggle against the fabric. He realized how juvenile this was, but he was enjoying every minute of it. He looked deeply into your eyes, feeling the closeness he’d been desperately craving the whole evening.
He balanced himself on his forearms, wanting to make you as comfortable as possible. He hiked up your shirt just enough to gain access to your chest. He gently massaged your sensitive breast. His calloused fingers dragged gently against your skin and across your nipple, making it harden beneath his touch. You gasped as you arched your back to meet his hand. The whimpers coming from your throat were nothing compared to Sonny’s.
He enjoyed giving you pleasure infinitely more than receiving it.
He tried to ignore the burning in his shoulders. But suddenly his muscles gave out, throwing him off balance. Making a split-second decision to avoid collapsing on top of you, he tumbled over the side of the bed. He landed with a comical thud that echoed throughout the silent room.
“Sonny!” you whisper yelled, as if you hadn’t just awakened the entire house with your raunchy escapades. You quickly climbed down to check on Sonny where he lay groaning on the floor. “Are you okay? Is anything broken?”
He propped himself up on his elbows, taking stock of his body. “Besides my pride?” Wincing as he rubbed the back of his head. “I think I’ll live.” You kissed his forehead. Thankfully, the bed hadn’t been that tall, so a serious injury was unlikely.
As you sat on the floor looking up at the bunk beds, a thought popped into your head. “Hey, Sonny?”
“Yeah?”
“Why didn’t we just put the mattress on the floor?”
Sonny’s face went blank at the realization. He closed his eyes and pursed his lips tightly. He groaned in frustration as he laid his head back on the floor, and you busted out into a fit of giggles. You pulled the mattresses off the bunks and lined them up next to each other on the floor. You couldn’t help but feel incredibly stupid that you hadn’t thought of this in the first place.
Well, hindsight is 20/20…or about 5 feet off the floor.
You cuddled up under the blankets, much cozier on the floor than in the beds. Sonny’s eyebrows were laced together deep in thought.
“You doing alright, sunshine?” You brushed the hair away that had fallen into his eyes.
His face relaxed under your touch. “Yeah, I’m just wondering why I couldn’t be the favorite child.” You shook your head in amusement, a smile tugging at the corners of your lips. “Bella would never have been asked to share a bunk bed.”
You scooched in close to teasingly whisper in his ear, “That’s because Tommy popped the question.”
Sonny threw his head back and laughed so hard, you worried it would wake up the house yet again. “Ya trying to tell me something, doll?”
“All I’m saying is maybe some new jewelry could get us better accommodations next year.” You wiggled the fingers of your left hand.
He took your hand and lovingly kissed each of your fingers, pausing before your ring finger. “I’ll keep that in mind.”
You snuggled deeper under the covers, happily entangled together. You closed your eyes, playing back the evening’s events in your mind. It was certainly a night you wouldn’t soon forget. You wondered how big the lump on Sonny’s head would be. Or if maybe you’d be engaged by next Christmas…
And how to explain all of this to his mother in the morning.

⋆ too drunk to recognize your boyfriend
feat. third years of diasomnia
malleus
"I.. have a boyfriend,"
to an extent. the guarded, suspicious look on your face would have concerned malleus to no belief, to others. he wouldn't have bat an eye whatsoever, but it's you so the feeling crawls up his spine and clouds his heart. he can't help the slight nudge of offense clouding his face cause you definitely shouldn't have any reason to make such a face to his.
the more his arm reaches out towards you—to ground your swaying form perhaps, the more you seem to be inching away from him. which shouldn't make sense at all! "child of man?" he murmurs. dropping the attempt to console you, to which you squint at him. back pressed against the front door to his dorm.
"who are you?!" you point at him, and he blinks. mortification spreads in his head. you've.. accumulated amnesia?!
malleus' fingers clench around the fabric on his chest, just after he had retracted the outstretched limb in fear of frightening you even more. there's a certain stiffness to his hand that illicit a drop of sweat from his forehead. him? he's your mal?
if he had the nerve to cry, he would.
but of course, you remain a priority. you exhibit unnatural behavior. no one just forgets important details in a day! you especially, won't forget about him! and he won't let you, ever.
you sway. your eyes darting around, and squinting like you're struggling to focus on one subject of your attention, a factor that might affect it is the fact you keep looking around instead on settling on something, preferably him. and, malleus is torn between steadying you, or him.
he chooses you.
despite your half hearted protest that audibly makes him sulk more, he twists the door to the dorm open and ushers you inside. not too much of a struggle, if anything, you seem lighter, and he almost actually hauled you around with minimal effort.
"must be a good night," a voice purrs, malleus doesn't have to glance at the source to know that it's lilia. years spent with the man does wonder with familiarity. it took him a couple of decades to get used to him. strangely enough he feels like he's known you longer, despite not.
the statement makes the taller male frown. lilia though, keeps the tiny smile, now tickled with a hint of amusement as the rubies shift from your blubbering form to malleus' face. oh? he's upset now. lilia muses. it's easy to ascertain his boy's move, like a sixth sense.
so lilia decides to probe further. "no? your face tells me otherwise."
malleus huffs a little. one of the habits he never seemed to grow out of ever since he learned to keep his... more draconic traits at bay. "you are less than accurate with your assumption," his eye twitches, either torn between distressed or irritation. despite the conflicting behavior, he still manages to treat you with a gentle hand while leading you towards the couch.
"it is a very terrible day." malleus continues. sad enough to complain, but fond of you enough to take the hint from your apparent cautious behavior towards him. lilia almost laughs when he spies him gloomy, sitting on the far end, away from you.
the lightning strikes just as the clouds roll in. lilia peers behind the curtains, chuckling a little at the weather.
well! he just hadn't seen malleus moping around this much since, what? when that gold trinket wouldn't fit in his tower anymore? "why so, my dear?" lilia coos, positively charmed by the 'adorable' disposition.
of course, he already knows. he'd heard your exchange moments ago.
lilia retains the easy look. "the child of man has forgotten about me," malleus explains. looking more stressed by the second. "whoever has done this, will pay." from a sad, faraway look to rage suddenly. "I beg of you, please return them." then switches back...?
he has half the mind to pretend like you're never gonna return normal but decides against it.
"of course!" lilia chirps. "they'll be well by tomorrow."
and, malleus looks like he had been holding the world by his shoulders seconds ago, a sigh of relief.
the next day, you're not sure why malleus is introducing himself in concerning detail. do you really need to know what color his assigned blanket was when he was given birth to...?
lilia
if anything, he's really the one who enabled your behavior.
"just one more." , "oh my, need another?" , "you look like you need it, come on now, don't be shy, you only live once~"
concerned, silver steadied you as you wobble on your feet. babbling about some nonsense under your breath which only illicits the boy to cast a disapproving glance at lilia (who only wears an amused smile).
"seems like they had quite the night." a cheery comment from the latter, and silver makes no move to resist when he moved closer with silent steps, then pries you to his side inside with a gentleness that would prove that he isn't.. actually the reason for your state, but not really.
lilia cooed, like he'd coddled them before. silver thinks but it is so distinct from the way he used to coax them into bed. "time for bed."
you peel your eyes open, squinting with a crease between your brows. you tug at your arm, of which doesn't really budge but lilia decides to humor the struggle so he lets go and raises his brows. "I'm not a kid!" you say, then turn your head to the side—like a kid.
oh, so adorable. lilia croons, swooning inside his head for a bit. how he'd like to simply hold you for hours end...
the romantic monolog of his daydreams though, is interrupted by you once more. ironic since you were the one he was just day dreaming about.
"oh, my. is that so? how lucky of me." he chooses to say instead.
silver sweatdrops. glancing between your hazy... anger maybe? it's not really anger in all honesty, just bordering. then to the lax demeanor his father exhibited. a glance would find normality in it, but he hasn't seen him pick on someone so...
he doesn't know the word for it, perhaps insisting on bothering a singular person as much as he can?
you gasp, snapping your head to silver. cause apparently you recognize him, but seemed scandalized by lilia's presence. "silver! protect me!"
amused, lilia watches you scurry back behind the boy.
"there's nothing to protect you from..."
"there's a man!"
"I'm a man too..."
"there's a bad man!"
your head peeks out from silver's confused frame, lilia's head follows the action. tilting to the side as you eye him hilariously warily. hmmm.. so very cute. "I'm an innocent, only wishing to steal my beloved." he replies, with a usual lightness. though the usual relaxation you had around him is replaced with irritation.
"you can't steal me away, my boyfriend and his children will strangle you."
lilia shares a look with silver. where did they get the idea of... such violence?
silver shrugs. not a clue, he seems to reply back, committed to just remaining a bystander even if he's technically in the middle.
"is that so?"
you nod vehemently, a more open vulnerability clear on your face than before. you point to lilia (well, technically you don't actually know its him! or maybe you're just playing with him?) squinting, accusing at all with him at the end of your pointer finger. the male only raises his brow, and flashes you a cheeky smile.
lilia contemplates playing with you. as in, replying 'why don't you guess?' because knowing you, even in this state you'd probably tell him: "how would I know?" then proceed to guess anyway.
you would have a cute expression, perhaps. but he isn't so cruel to the point where he would waste time—time you could be using to rest instead, preferably get sober, remember him when you wake up, and return to your lovey dovey self.
alright. maybe not lovey dovey on some days but he would definitely prefer that than you using his son as a shield against him, like the boy could actually hold him back.
well, it is technically his fault... but lilia had all the intentions to care for you if you ever got too drunk, he'd hold you up if you were too unsteady, guide you away from possible fiends, and make sure you recovered well the following morning.
but, this definitely didn't enter his area of expectations.
"yup!" you cry. "he might be short, but he can kick butt." for someone who's heard many arrogant words, he's never seen one who says one thing—a threat in your case, then you proceeded to cower behind the nonchalant silver.
you nudge silver.
silver blinks. "um... that's correct."
you glance back at lilia. as if to say I told you!
"so... he will kick my... butt?" lilia hums, indulging in using the word. goodness, good thing sebek is not here. that boy definitely would've kicked you out for endorsing such foul language.
he feigns a look of horror, to his amusement you seem to brighten.
simply adorable...
long story short. you seem to believe you've truly scared him off when he disappears.
concerned even more, silver watches you welcome lilia back with a dreamy sigh. like... you actually recognize him as your lilia, and not the guy you were just... threatening to bite the curb.
this is absurd... I should just rest... silver sighs.
lilia only beams at the showering affection.

━ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐲'𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 !
— pairing; nagi seishiro x reader
— summary; set in the future, where your baby with nagi comes early while he's playing in a match.
— notes; please donate to my kofi if you like my content and and please commission me because im broke. kisses to everyone who reblogs.
❋ This is the most important game of Nagi’s career, and you’re not about to call him off the field for this.
❋ . . . Even if you might be in labour.
❋ You think you’re in labour, anyway.
❋ You’re looking into it.
❋ You try to brush it off as just another false alarm since the baby’s not due for another month, even as your stomach feels oddly tight and heavy.
❋ Now that you’re this far along, Nagi makes sure to pay extra attention to you, always checking on you before he leaves practice or matches. He kisses you sweetly as always, but he hesitates before leaving you alone in the stands, where you have an unobstructed view of the field. “Are you sure you're okay? You look kind of . . . Sweaty.”
❋ You wave him off with a smile, trying to act normal. “Just nerves.”
❋ The whistle blows and the match begins with all that usual fanfare. You try to lose yourself in the magic of the game, how effortlessly graceful Nagi looks when he’s dominating the field, but it’s hard as the contractions grow stronger, more intense than you could have ever imagined.
❋ You’re grimly determined to make it through the game, cheering for Nagi just as you’ve always done. So you dig your nails into the arm-rests of your seat and try to force the breath back into your lungs.
❋ Not yet. Not yet.
❋ It’s Reo who catches sight of you up in the VIP section of the stands; you’re shaking and doubled over, clutching at your stomach. A small crowd is already forming around you, and it’s hard to miss the panic on the face of Chigiri’s mother and older sister.
❋ “Nagi,” Reo says, an unusual urgency lacing his voice, and Nagi turns, follows the direction of his gaze.
❋ A very red-faced Chris Prince and the throng of fans are in an uproar when Nagi sprints off-field with a renewed burst of energy. His focus is completely on you now, the ongoing game now pushed to the very recesses of his mind. “Hey, what's wrong? You look weird.”
❋ You’re pale and tight-lipped, sweat sticking your hair to your face and neck, but you still try to act as though everything’s fine. “Nothing’s wrong. Go back to the game!” You try to shoo him away with a wave of your hand, but Nagi isn’t buying it.
❋ “Nah, you look like you're dying or something. That’s not normal.” he deadpanned, pulling out his phone to call his driver (well, Reo’s driver).
❋ “Go back to the game!” You try to tell him again, biting back a cry as another contraction rips through your body.
❋ Nagi shakes his head, already bending down to scoop you into his arms. "It’s just a game. You and the baby are more important," he mumbles, carrying you to the nearest exit with surprising strength.
❋ By the time you reach the hospital and you’re ushered into a private room, your contractions are coming in hard and fast waves, and you’re clutching Nagi’s hand like a vice. "Ow . . . How are you so strong? You’re so small . . ." he mutters, his face scrunching up in pain.
❋ Still wearing his jersey and cleats, Nagi stays by your side the entire time, which you’re grateful for since his calming presence helps more than you’ll admit. He’s completely unbothered by the fact that he missed the rest of the game (which his team, fortunately, won).
❋ What you’re NOT grateful for: his unhelpful comments. "Why does it take so long?”, “Can’t you speed it up?" Nagi gets the hint and shuts up when you hurl a pillow at him with a string of very colourful curses, because it’s his fault that you’re here, dammit.
❋ When the baby finally arrives, red-faced and announcing her arrival with a loud scream, Nagi stares at the tiny bundle in awe, his large frame completely dwarfing his child. But his large hands are gentle, holding his baby like she’s the most precious thing in the world. “Huh. She’s kind of like a mini you . . . So small and soft.”
❋ But when the baby yawns, all droopy-eyed and their small face a sleepy smudge, you think that your daughter looks more like Nagi.

Before Monaco
An hour had passed on the three hour flight from Imola to Nice. Charles was asleep and Leo was curled up in your lap. Sitting in an oversized top and sweatpants, you were quite comfortable while doing some work. You work for a company that allows you to work remotely, which is a huge blessing considering your longtime boyfriend travels the world every other week.
The tiny pup yawned big as he woke up from his nap. You scratched him under the chin. Leo moved around in your lap, found another comfortable spot and went right back to sleep just as Charles also moved to find another comfortable position to nap in. You smiled to yourself and continued working.
Soon the plane landed in a private airport in the French city of Nice. Your bags were handled by the hired help, and Charles insisted on carrying your laptop bag for you. This left you walking along his side with Leo in your arms, still sound asleep. The boat ride to Monaco didn't take long and the drive to your shared apartment went by in a blur.
It felt nice being home during race week. You left Leo in his bed and joined Charles in the living room. Coming up from behind you hugged him while softly asking, "Qu'est-ce que tu penses?" (what is on your mind?). Even after all these years you still cringed at your accent.
"The race" he replied.
You sighed as you remembered the dnfs, mechanical failures and team errors that Charles had to endure. Year after year, the pain just kept getting worse as you watched from the grandstands and eventually the garage.
"You should focus on the positives. The team has been performing well and this season has been different than the last 3, there is hope." you weren't sure if what you said was the right thing. You kissed him on the cheek and moved around the couch to come and sit next to him.
"It is not easy when every other time I have had hope, it has been ripped away and torn into tiny pieces," Charles said while looking defeated. You felt sad seeing him like this. You just held your arms out and let him fall into your embrace. With the couch being big enough for two people to sleep on it, soon you and Charles fell asleep, still in the hug.
During Monaco
Photographers snapped photos of you and Rebecca, Leo's leash entwined with your hand. The two of you were spotted outside the Ferrari hospitality an hour before qualifying. Charles was busy with his engineer and strategist and asked you to give him some alone time. So, you thought a small walk around the paddock with your puppy and good friend would be beneficial.
Eventually the crowd of fans surrounding you and Rebecca who wanted to see Leo was getting quite large, so you politely said goodbye to the fans, picked up the pup and made your way back to the Ferrari motorhome. You got a text from your boyfriend.
Can you come to my drivers room?
You entered the room and put Leo down, allowing him to calm down and drink some water from his very own water bottle and attached bowl. "Darling, do you need something?" you asked Charles as he looked tense.
You moved closer to him. Charles caught you by surprise when he pulled you even closer and hugged you extremely tight. "Je ne me sens pas bien," (i don't feel good) he whispered. "C'est bon. Tout ira bien. It's ok, you'll be ok." you quietly kept repeating to him until Leo began demanding attention with his big brown eyes and soft whines.
Charles wiped the few tears that escaped and picked him up with a new smile adorning his face. For a moment, it was just the three of you, your perfect little family. There was a knock at the door, followed by a Ferrari team member informing Charles that he was required in 5 minutes. Charles placed a wet kiss on your forehead.
"Thank you for supporting me the way you do. I love you so much, mon cœur," (my heart) he said, his lips still on your forehead. The pair walked out of the room and split ways. You had the hired help watch Leo for the duration of qualifying in a private room.
You sat with Charles' family just as the Sky Sports camera panned on you. You smiled when you saw yourself on the monitor and gave a small wave while sitting next to Charlotte.
Even though you knew that Charles would easily clear Q1, you could not help the anxiety that made its way throughout your body. He crossed the line and made it to Q2. With the next session, your anxiety worsened. But within 15 minutes your nerves eased.
Q3. This was it. As the minutes slowly turned from 12 to 2, you were feeling sick. Charles' sleek Ferrari flew over the finish line and your hands flew to your mouth. Pole Position. At his home race. At your home race. The cameras focused on you to get your and his family's reaction.
At parc ferme, Charles ran over to his team who hyped him up even more. He signed the wheel and posed for the photos, the smile never leaving his face. Even after finishing up his media duties and making his way back to his family and you in the motorhome, his smile remained ever present. You swore he never hugged you tighter than that.
Race day. The day that actually mattered.
You entered the paddock a few steps behind Charles, Leo once again in your hold. You didn't get a lot of time with Charles, considering he was the man of the hour after securing pole. The two of you shared a moment together before he had to head out for the national anthem.
"Comment te sens-tu, chérie?" (how are you feeling, darling?) you asked him while he changed into his race suit. He looked up and the look on his face gave you your answer. You smiled and he continued wearing his suit. There were butterflies in his stomach. That meant he felt nervous, hopeful, anxious and confident all at once.
Charles was out on the track, and you once again joined his family in the motorhome. At that point though, it would be more appropriate to call them your family. You and Charles have been together for a long time. The pair of you had seen each other at their lowest and highest. When Charles lost his father and when for nearly a year you could not get a job. When news of Anthoine's death reached Charles, he was on holiday with you and your family in another country. Your family gave him the comfort he needed. When you got news that your parents contracted covid, there was nothing you could do sitting in your apartment in Monaco. Pascale was like a second mother to you.
The race began. You found a place to sit and watch the race. Charles was in the lead. A huge crash. A totaled redbull and a red flag. You felt the butterflies creeping up from your stomach to your throat. The race resumed and continued. Piastri was close to Charles, but not enough to threaten his position. It felt like time slowed down during the final lap. You had an earbud plugged in one ear and could hear Crofty's iconic last lap commentary.
The number 16 Ferrari flew past the checkered flag and fireworks flew out from the sides of the track. Charles' family members were already hugging each other and some of the team members who were there. But you didn't move. Tears were flowing down your face and a smile was etched on your face. The first person you moved to hug was Charlotte, the older woman was like an elder sister to you.
The camera's stream kept cutting from Charles out on the track to you and his family in the motorhome. Everyone quickly left the garage and made their way to parc ferme. You saw Charles pull up and stop in front of the 1st place stand. You watched from the back as he ran to his team, Arthur and Lorenzo pushed their way to the front. After getting weighed, the team moved to allow you to come to the front where Charles walked towards you.
Normally, you and Charles would keep the pda on the lesser side when cameras were around, but not this time. The forever smiling face, messy-haired and slightly teary-eyed boyfriend of yours pulled you directly into a powerful kiss. His left arm was around your back while his right hand was half on your face and half on your neck. You could hear and feel all the cameras going off around you.
Charles broke the kiss but kept your foreheads connected. You held both of his hands. "Tu l'as fait," (you did it) you repeated in all the languages you knew while nodding your head. You could see the tears welling up in his eyes again. He quickly blinked them away, "L'ho fatto," (i did it) he said in Italian quickly kissed you once again before hugging you.
You stood below the podium and watched as he received the trophy he had been waiting his entire life for. You were still crying. The tears would not stop, and they only got worse when Charles made eye contact with you after he was presented with the medal. He mouthed the words I love you. So much. Thank you. You could only hold your hand to your heart in response.
After Monaco
Even after a full day, you could still smell the fragrance of champagne wafting off of Charles.
You and Charles had celebrated his win on Sunday night in a club. He was practically glued to your side the entire night. No matter who he was talking to, either he did it while having an arm around you or holding your hand. By the end of the night, you were left with a very clingy and very drunk boyfriend. With Joris's help, you got Charles into the car. He drove the both of you home.
Back at the apartment, Charles seemed to have sobered up a bit after you made him eat some food.
"Did I ever tell you how much I love you?" Charles was lying down on the bed and was lovingly staring at you.
"All the time," you answered while changing for the night.
You finished changing and joined Charles in bed. Leo who was previously perched near Charles' feet climbed onto you and snuggled up on your chest.
Charles got your attention by saying your name, "I want you to understand what I mean when I say this. I love you. I appreciate you so much, even I cannot comprehend it. You have supported me throughout my years in Formula 1 and Formula 2. You have stood by me all these years, even when you had to sacrifice your job and sleep schedule for me. Je veux que vous compreniez la profondeur de ce que je dis." (i want you to understand the depth of what i am saying).
His eyes kept moving around but eventually rested on your face. He looked into your eyes when he finally spat out what he truly wanted to say.
"Mon cœur, mon âme, ma vie, je veux passer le reste de ma vie avec toi. Veux-tu m'épouser?" (My heart, my soul, my life, i want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?)
I took you a second to process what Charles said. You looked down and saw him holding a simple gold band with three small diamonds set in it. His free arm was laid across your stomach under Leo, who woke up when he sensed his mom feeling strong emotions.
Tears filled your eyes, your heart began beating faster and you were sweating a bit. Leo moved to the bed and was now licking the tears that fell from your eyes. You felt like you couldn't speak, but you very much knew what your answer was.
Before Monza
The summer break was perfect. You used your paid leave and were fully able to enjoy your time with the entire family. The photos of Leo that Charles posted to his instagram were adored by the fans. Your insta account remained private, but you still posted the dog nonetheless.
Neither of you announced the engagement just yet, wanting to keep it to yourselves for a while. Fans got curious when they saw a new ring around that special finger after Charles' win in Monaco, but since it was quite simple and small, they thought nothing much of it. You were known for wearing many different rings on the same finger, so people thought it was just another ring you fancied.
Unfortunately, after your long break, you were required to come back to the office for a few days for important meetings with the higher-ups of your company. That meant you missed the race in Zandvoort and Charles podium. But you made it up to him by joining him in Monza, his adopted home race.
Walking in the streets of Monza with a loved Ferrari driver was always quite the experience. Leo loved the attention from all the fans, he was a born extrovert. You and Charles had lunch at one of your favourite restaurants. The both of you sat in a relatively private section of the restaurant.
"I missed you at Zandvoort," Charles said before eating a morsel of his favourite pasta. "I'm sorry I couldn't be there. I tried to leave as early as I could, but by the time the meeting finished it made no sense to come," you said wishing you could have been there for him. Ever since Monaco, the team had been struggling. It brought back painful flashbacks of 2022 and 2023.
Things were not the best between you and Charles during the week you were out for work. The timings never seemed to match, when he had the energy to talk you were too burnt out, and doing all of this while also planning a wedding was not easy. It put a small strain on your relationship which seemed like it was reaching its breaking point during this weekend.
During Monza
You spent the rest of the week working. In between the free practice sessions, you were spotted with a pair of blue-light glasses on and bent over your laptop and a notebook. Leo was either sleeping in his carrier by your feet or was with Arthur or Lorenzo.
You barely saw Charles the entire weekend. He was either busy with his engineer and strategist or was filming content. It only made the strain in your relationship even worse and left Rebecca having to hear your side of it for most of the weekend considering both the boys were quite busy.
It was only before qualifying that you managed to get a moment with Charles at all.
"Charles, I know this is an important race for you, but we need to talk," you sternly said leaving no room for arguments. Charles was about to protest but you simply pulled him by the arm to his drivers room.
"Pourquoi tu ne me parles pas?" (why are you not talking to me?) you folded your arms while facing him. "You have been avoiding me ever since Thursday!"
"Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were too tired and 'fagged out' to want to talk," he replied sarcastically and with air quotes. "Je ne comprends pas pourquoi tu dois te comporter comme ça!" (I don't get why you have to behave like that!) Charles started walking around angrily and went off rattling away in French at such a fast pace you could not understand what he was saying.
"Just stop!" you yelled. "Just tell me why you are angry at me," you said, softer this time, almost in defeat.
"I don't like it when you are so busy with your work that you do not have time for us," Charles whispered after a long pause.
"And how do you think I feel when you are so busy with your work? I am required to go to the office at least every six months. You travel around the world every other week. You have less free time than I do, but have you heard me complain? So, instead of getting angry that I had to leave for one week to discuss plans for the company's future with the CEO, you should be happy that it was only one week out of the 52 in a year."
By the time you finished speaking, Charles had his hands over his face and was standing quite far from you. He whispered something inaudibly. With a confused look on your face, you moved closer to your fiancé. Upon feeling your body heat in the cold room, he removed his hands from his face and repeated his words.
I'm sorry.
The both of you wrapped yourselves in an embrace and for 5 minutes were only apologising and promising to do better in the future. You left the room after giving him a kiss. You headed down to the garage wanting to watch quali with Arthur who was watching Leo while you worked.
The timer began the countdown into Q1. Normally you would've been feeling quite nervous, but you were distracted by the charming british singer sitting next to you. Being a young girl during the height of One Direction was something else entirely. Your childhood dreams of meeting your favourite singer from the famous boyband had now come true.
Soon it was time for Q3 and you got a photo with Louis who by the time Q3 began, just like the rest of the world, fell in love with Leo and his photos. Charles put in great laps, but ended up only p4 alongside Russel.
Charles finished with his media duties and met up with you inside the motorhome. You were on a work call when he walked into the room. Leo was in the corner of the room scarfing down his food as if he hadn't eaten in years, his ears flopping all over the place.
You cut the call frustrated, removing your glasses from your face and placing them on your head. "Est-ce que tu vas bien?" (are you good?) he asked while holding you from the side and kissing your temple. You nodded and just packed up your things while Charles gathered his things as well.
The grandstands were filled with a sea of red and occasional yellow. Your outfit consisted of only red, yellow and black. Charles had left for the paddock earlier, so you made plans to have breakfast with Rebecca and leave for the paddock together.
You walked around before the race with Leo on the leash in front of you, Rebecca by your side. "So, how is wedding planning going?" she asked, her beautiful scottish accent making you smile. "We are still looking at venues. All we know is that it's going to be sometime in August of next year."
The drivers would soon be called for the national anthem. So, you went back to the Ferrari garage looking for your soon-to-be husband. You found him sitting next to Arthur, water bottle in hand. Leo instantly ran towards him and began climbing up his dad.
"Just do your best. Give it your all. Je t'aime tellement." (i love you so much) you sent Charles off with a hug. Leo was fast asleep in his carrier, so you joined Arthur down in the garage. You put on the large red headphones and waved at the camera when you saw yourself on the broadcast.
Halfway through the race, it hit you that Charles could possibly win. It was a stretch considering he was attempting a one-stopper. But as lap after lap went by the possibility of that dream coming true seemed more and more likely. His tires were probably gonna look like chewed-up bubblegum by the end of the race, but if he managed them just right...
He did it. He fucking did it. The roar of the Tifosi was stronger than ever. Unlike his last win, this time you were not seated. You were jumping up and down, cheering as loud as you could, matching the energy of the Ferrari team members around you. Some of them hugged you.
While Charles was finishing his cool-down lap, the mechanics and other team members rushed out to greet Charles in parc ferme. You stayed close to Arthur, knowing that you could possibly get pushed in the wrong direction. With a hand around your back, he guided you to the front where you could see the beautiful red car pull up.
Charles came running toward the team, moving quickly to try and hug everyone possible. As he moved from Arthur to hug you, from the corner of your eyes you could see more cameras making their way towards you. FLASH! And that was how one of the iconic photos of Monza 2024 was born. Charles' arms wrapped around you and he had his visor up, his eyes filled with so much emotion. You were smiling widely in the photo and had your hands on either side of his helmet. But the part that made the photo iconic was that your left hand was facing the camera, and in that, you had tucked away all of your fingers except the one with your engagement ring.
Winning the Italian Grand Prix as a Ferrari driver is always special, so you watched the podium celebration from inside the motorhome, wanting him to enjoy the moment with the team and the Tifosi to the fullest.
After Monza
For the next two days, the streets of Monza were filled with Ferrari flags being either hung from somewhere or people waving them around. It seemed like every other Italian was asking for an autograph from Charles or a photo with him. But it wasn't just Charles and Ferrari who were the talk of town. So were you.
That photo of you and Charles just after the race had gone viral. At first, people were freaking out, wondering if the two of you were really engaged or if it was a joke. Only when Charles reposted the photo to his story did fans really start freaking out.
Congratulations were pouring out of everyone's mouth who had seen the photo or heard of the news. You didn't mean for the news to overshadow Charles' incredible win on 38-lap old tires. But it didn't. As a matter of fact, the win and engagement news gelled well together, neither taking away from the other.
The night before the team would be heading to Maranello you and Charles laid in the hotel bed, Leo fast asleep on his own bed. "I'm sorry for not asking if you'd be fine with me announcing our engagement," you said in a soft voice while drawing shapes on his torso. Charles, who had you wrapped around his side, kissed your forehead and said, "Je suis content que tu l'aies fait," (I am glad you did it).
The next morning Charles posted a photo of a formal dinner the two of you had with not just his but also your family where the engagement was announced. Of course, Leo was in the center of the photo.
A/n - honestly idk what i even wrote. i am tired af and just needed to get this out of my system. Hope you enjoyed reading🩵

soft beginnings | s.jy
pairing: dad-to-be!jake x mom-to-be!reader
synopsis: you and jake are getting ready for your baby, but jake’s full of doubts about fatherhood. with plenty of laughter, love, and tiny socks, you learn that even the smallest moments can mean the world.
warnings: fluff!, jake has self-doubt but it’s adorable dont worry >< reader is pregnant if that is not clear (i love pregnant tropes actually because it’s cute hehe)
wc: 1.1k
a/n: ive been writing a lot lately since im currently on semester break but enjoy ^^
jake sat on the nursery floor, holding a pair of impossibly small socks between his fingers like they were some kind of alien artifact. his brows were furrowed, lips pressed into a pout that you would’ve called adorable if he wasn’t so deadly serious.
“okay, babe,” he said finally, holding the socks up for emphasis. “these cannot be for a human. i don’t care what you say.”
you couldn’t help it—you burst out laughing from your spot on the rocking chair, where you were sorting through a mountain of baby clothes. “jake, they’re for a newborn. they’re supposed to be that tiny.”
he squinted at the socks like they might reveal their secrets if he stared long enough. “nope. sorry. these are for a hamster. or maybe a very small rabbit.”
“are you calling our baby a rabbit?” you teased, grinning as you leaned back in the chair.
“i’m just saying,” he continued, waving the socks around like he was making a grand point. “what if their feet don’t fit? what if their toes are too big? i don’t even know what baby feet look like!”
you laughed so hard that tears pricked at the corners of your eyes. “you’re ridiculous.”
“i’m serious!” he insisted, though the twitch of his lips betrayed him. “what if i try to put these on and they just… fall off? or what if i lose one? it’s not like i can run to the store and ask for replacement jellybean-sized socks!”
that did it—you dissolved into giggles, your belly shaking as you leaned forward. “jake, you’re going to be fine,” you said, wiping your eyes. “i promise, putting socks on a baby isn’t as hard as you think.”
he flopped dramatically onto his back, groaning. “i’m not ready for this.”
“you are,” you said, crawling over to him and sitting on your knees by his side. you rested your chin on his chest, tilting your head to look up at him. “you’re going to be the best dad ever.”
he gazed down at you, his expression softening, but you could still see the hint of doubt in his eyes. “you really think so?”
“i know so,” you said, reaching up to brush a strand of hair out of his face. “you’ve got the dad jokes down already. the rest is just practice.”
he groaned again, dragging a hand down his face. “yeah, but what about the important stuff? like… like making bottles. or changing diapers! do you know how many straps and tabs those things have? it’s like trying to assemble IKEA furniture!”
you snorted, pressing your forehead to his chest as you laughed. “it’s not that bad.”
“it is that bad,” he said, sitting up suddenly. his hands flailed a bit as he tried to explain. “and what if i don’t wake up when the baby cries? or—or what if i hold them wrong? what if i drop them? oh my god, what if i don’t know how to swaddle? they’re gonna hate me.”
“jake.” you placed your hands on his cheeks, forcing him to look at you. “take a deep breath.”
he inhaled shakily, his wide eyes locking onto yours.
“you’re not going to drop the baby,” you said firmly. “or hold them wrong. and even if you mess up the first swaddle, or it takes you a few tries to get the diaper right, it’s okay. you’ll figure it out.”
he didn’t look entirely convinced, so you leaned closer, your voice softer now. “do you remember when we first got peanut?”
he blinked, his brows furrowing. “our dog?”
“yeah. you were so nervous about training him. you kept googling everything, and you were convinced he was going to hate you because you couldn’t get him to sit on command.”
jake huffed, his lips twitching into a reluctant smile. “okay, yeah, but peanut was a little menace at first.”
“he was,” you agreed, grinning. “but you didn’t give up. you were so patient and sweet with him, and now he listens to you better than he listens to me.”
jake let out a soft laugh, his shoulders relaxing a bit.
“it’s going to be the same with the baby,” you said, brushing your thumbs gently over his cheekbones. “you’re going to love them so much that none of the little mistakes will matter. and they’re definitely not going to hate you for struggling with a diaper or two.”
“you sure about that?” he asked, his voice quieter now.
“absolutely,” you said, smiling.
he sighed, leaning forward to rest his forehead against yours. “what would i do without you?”
“probably drown in a pile of tiny socks,” you teased, laughing softly.
“you’re not wrong, he muttered, but he was smiling again.
you both sat there for a moment, the quiet hum of the nursery filling the air. then jake pulled back slightly, his hand drifting to your belly.
“hey, little one,” he murmured, his voice soft and warm. “just so you know, your mom’s the best person in the world. so if i mess up, she’s gonna make sure you’re taken care of. and if you could, uh… maybe go easy on me with the diapers, that’d be great.”
you laughed, swatting at his shoulder. “stop making deals with the baby!”
“what? i’m just saying!” he said, grinning.
he leaned down and pressed a kiss to your belly, murmuring something too quiet for you to hear. when he sat up again, his eyes were brighter, his usual spark returning.
“okay,” he said, grabbing the tiny socks and holding them up like a trophy. “we’re definitely framing these.”
“i knew you’d come around,” you said, smiling as you kissed his cheek.
the rest of the afternoon was spent folding onesies and arranging books on the shelves, with jake tossing out ridiculous questions every five minutes.
“what if the baby doesn’t like my cooking?”
“jake, they’re not going to eat anything you cook for at least a year.”
“what if they cry every time i pick them up?”
“then you’ll hold them until they stop crying.”
“what if they call me ‘dude’ instead of ‘dad’?”
“then they’re definitely your kid.”
by the time the sun dipped below the horizon, the nursery was mostly finished. the crib stood in the corner, draped with a soft, pastel blanket, and the bookshelf was packed with stories you couldn’t wait to read aloud.
you stood in the doorway with jake, his arm around your shoulders as you both took in the space.
“it’s perfect,” you murmured, leaning into his side.
“almost perfect,” he said, resting a hand on your belly. “just missing one thing.”
you smiled, your hand covering his. “they’ll be here soon enough.”
he pressed a kiss to your temple, his voice filled with quiet awe. “soon enough,” he echoed.
and in that moment, surrounded by love and laughter and the promise of something even sweeter, you knew your little family was already complete in all the ways that mattered.

“DO YOU LOVE ME?”
- in which you ask (some of) the outsiders boys if they love you. could be taken as insecure, joking, or curious, the context is not specified :) (the outsiders x gn!reader, fluff but minor angst in johnny and dally’s parts)
a/n - headcanons for the boys :) i’m trying to get some more substantial writing done, so be prepared for that (i am a slow ass writer with very little free time but i am trying real hard) <3
includes: johnny, dally, ponyboy, & sodapop
JOHNNY looks at you like you’ve just stepped on his shoes. “‘Course I do.” He murmurs. One of his hands is entwined with yours, and the other is running through his greased hair. “You’re the best thing I’ve ever got.” You smile softly and lean against his shoulder as he moves his jacket to cover you. You built the world to him, and he hates the thought of you not knowing it. He swears, in that moment, to never let you go a single day without some sort of reminder that he thinks you hung the moon in the sky.
“Doll, you’re sweet, but I don’t love nothin’.” DALLY states, blowing cigarette smoke to the left of him, away from you. He knows you don’t like it when he blows it in your direction. “Ask me again in ten years, ‘kay?” He smiles, but the humor is lost on both of you. You knew he wouldn’t say yes, and though his eyes are begging you to believe him, he knows in his heart that he is a liar. If Dallas Winston were to admit he loves you, he would be throwing you into a lifetime of hardship and trouble and rough palms. So, for now, he’ll keep it a secret.
There’s a heavy blush on PONYBOY’s face when you ask that question. He stumbles a bit, trying in vain to come up with any answer. “Yeah. Yeah, I really do.” He steps forward, taking your hands in his. “Do you love me?” His voice is soft, and the sun reflects off of his deep eyes. He rarely gets a chance to be this gentle with anyone else in his life. When you affirm what he hoped deep down in his heart, that you love him back, he’s over the moon. “Thank god.”
“Yes.” SODAPOP says, without a hint of hesitation. “Why? Did you think I didn’t or something?” His mouth forms a tiny frown as he moves closer to you. He takes your face in his hands and scours it for any hint of insecurity, any tell that will show him how you’re feeling. He loves you, and he needs you to know it. He needs the whole world to know it- of course, everyone important has had it rubbed in their face since the moment he started liking you, but the whole world couldn’t hurt. “I’ve always loved you, don’t ever forget it.”

Look What You Made Me Do (H.S) Pt.1
SUMMARY: A guy flirts with you, and as a result, Harry kills him.
CONTENT WARNING: dark!harry, manipulation, sex, manhandling, sub/dom dynamic, hints of m*rder, mentions of wounds/blood, daddy kink
AUTHORS NOTE: Someone requested a dark!harry who gaslights, kills, and manipulates so i scrambled this up. I will def be writing him more seriously after this one 😂
WORD COUNT: 1-2k
It all started when she pleaded with her big doe eyes pearling up at him, her small voice filled with desperation and smallness. The vastness of the huge empty house seemed to swallow her up in his absence, leaving her feeling like a tiny speck in a sea of silence.
"Daddy, can I go with you? Please," she implored, her eyes wide with hope. She craved to be in his presence, for the reassurance of his company in the cold, echoing rooms of their home.
But his response was harsh and dismissive, his words cutting through her like a knife. "No," he said brusquely, his tone leaving no room for argument. The frown that creased her brow deepened.
She continued. “Please, I'll be good. I promise," she pleaded, watching him pack the duffel bags, not worrying about all the things he’s shoving inside as she was once told that it was none of her business.
His job was a mystery to her, shrouded in secrecy and danger. Every night, Harry would return home with evidence of a violent encounter - bruises on his knuckles, blood splattered on his clothes, and his hair in disarray.
Despite her growing fear and concern, she was forbidden from asking questions. Harry insisted that his actions were for her protection, and that she was not meant to witness the darker side of his work. The unspoken understanding between them only added to the air of mystery and tension that surrounded Harry's enigmatic profession.
Harry sighed, dropping what was in his hands to turn to his girl. "Baby," He said softly, grabbing her face in his hands, his eyes filled with concern. "Is there a reason you don't want to stay here? You're always happy to wait for me when I get back." His words were laced with genuine curiosity as he searched her eyes for any hint of what might be bothering her. Harry couldn't bear to see her unhappy and he would go to hell and back to put that smile on her face.
Her eyes began to get glossy as she looked up at him, her bottom lip quivering. "I-I just want to be with you. It's so boring here. Please daddy. Just once, can I go?," she begged, her voice barely above a whisper. “I’ll be good.”
Harry looks down at her as he towered over her in their height difference. “Daddy has very important business, you know that.” He said. “Don’t you, princess?” His hand coming in contact with her head. Rubbing over her hair and then rubbing over her cheek.
She nodded, “Yes, sir.” Her voice sounded smaller than before and very much defeated as she looked down at her freshly done nails Harry paid for.
Harry sighed, knowing he couldn't resist her sad, pleading eyes. Placing a small kiss to her upper lip. "Get dressed," he finally relented, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
Her face lit up with joy as she jumped up from her seat, a sense of excitement coursing through her veins. "Yes!" she wrapped her arms around his neck, placing a wet glossy kiss on his cheek.
His hands moved stealthily down to her backside, fingers gripping her butt with a firm squeeze. His voice remained stern as he instructed her to get dressed quickly. "I'm leaving in ten minutes," he stated firmly. Despite his serious tone, she couldn't help but smile at him.
"Okay Daddy," she giggled.
She started to make her way towards their bedroom upstairs, but before she could take another step, Harry grabbed her by the forearm, pulling her back with a roughness that sent a shiver down her spine.
"But you listen to me," he said sternly, his grip tightening on her arm. She looked up at him, the smile is no longer on her face as she locks intimidating eye contact with him. "I want you on your best behavior tonight. I need you to stay by my side at all times. Do you understand?" He searches for some sort of understanding and submissive in her eyes and as always, he does.
She nodded, her eyes wide with a mixture of fear and excitement. But Harry wasn't satisfied with just a nod. He cupped her jaw in his hand, his fingers pressing against her skin with a force that made her gasp.
"Words," he demanded, his voice low and commanding. "Use them."
"Y-yes, daddy," she stammered, her words barely audible as she struggled to meet his intense gaze. The power he held over her was intoxicating, and she knew that tonight would be a night she would never forget.
He let go of her face and she made her way up to the bedroom they shared. Harry shook his head as he finished closing his duffel bag and swinging it over his torso.
The only thing she knew about Harry's job was that it always led them to a club. As soon as she walked in she was met with loud music and people grinding against one another. As they walked through the entrance, she could feel his grip on her hand tighten, causing a slight discomfort that only grew as they made their way through the crowded dance floor.
As she walked, she just remembered the two rules Harry gave her:
1. Stay by Harry’s side.
2. Don’t speak to anybody.
But Harry didn’t stay by her side. He was pulled away from her when one of his men came and pulled him for a conversation. The area was so congested, he lost track of her.
As his men spoke to him, a man approached his girl. It was another man who worked for him, she recognized him but couldn’t put a name to his face. Harry tended to tell this man off a lot. He would always cut him off and treat him as if his words and suggestions to their work didn’t matter.
“Hello, sweetheart.” The two words caused her to spin and see a man who’s awfully taller than her. “I’m Jared. I work for Styles. I believe we’ve met before,” He held out his hand, awaiting hers.
Afraid to be rude, she took his hand and shook it, praying it’ll be over soon. "Hi," she said softly, voice sweet as honey. The instructions in the car were clear - she wasn't supposed to speak to anyone and was supposed to stick to Harry’s side. However, the absence of Harry, who was meant to be by her side at all times, made her question the rules she was meant to follow.
She removed his hand from his grip and smiled kindly. He assumed that her being alone was a perfect opportunity to get her away from him. “Where’s Styles? Rarely get you alone…” His lips curled up as his eyes scanned her skin that was out leaving little to the imagination. Before she could answer—
“This is very pretty,” He said, his voice is as if he’s trying to lure her. His rough calloused hands came up and touched the strap of her dress.
“Thank you!” She said smiling. In a way, Harry always made it seem as if the men who worked for him were evil and cruel and not at all kind. But a compliment like this made her feel the opposite. I just got it this weekend!”
And that’s when Harry flicked his head in her direction to see the interaction. It was like a light switch in his head. Eyes squinting to make sure he saw what he saw correctly.
“How did Styles’ get so lucky?” his hand came to her bare shoulder and before he could move closer—
"Hey, what's going on?" Harry interrupted before she could even begin to explain the situation. His tone was sharp, his eyes narrowed in suspicion. "Is there a reason you're here and not over there?" With a sudden burst of aggression, Harry shoved him forcefully, causing him to stumble and collide with the barstools lined up behind him.
The sound of the impact caused a loud screeching sound, drawing the attention of everyone nearby. It was clear that Harry's actions were motivated by more than just curiosity - there was a sense of menace in his demeanor that sent a chill down everyone's spine.
Jared’s tough guy act tried to go strong but anyone could understand looking at the glint in Harry’s eyes it was no use.
Harry grabbed him by the collar as she tried to get his attention. “We were just talking—“
“You fucking touch her? Hmm?” Harry’s fist came in contact with the guys face once again causing the girl behind him to drop the grip on his arm. Harry stood over the man that worked for him and kicked him as he grew satisfied with the blood pouring from his face. “He’s going to den.” He ordered the two men who he was previously speaking to.
He doesn’t look at the men, instead he grabs his girls hand with the opposite hand that wasn’t bruised. He pulled her along with him, ignoring anything she was saying.
The girl behind him shook her head as her hands shook. “Daddy—.” She continued to look back at the man being taken away. “No. Why’d you do that?”
Her voice was like a cry and he ignored every word until they got into the car. The car ride was silent as all she can think about was what Harry did.
When they arrived to the house, Harry walked to the front door and let her walk in. He didn’t even step foot in the door.
“You stay here,” He said. Before she could argue— he was out the door with a slam.
But nothing could have prepared her for when he got back.
When he returned, he called out her name. “Baby?” Harry called out. She sat on the edge of the bed, and her feet dangled as she’s been home alone for a hour. When she heard his footsteps come closer and closer, she lifted her head up awaiting his enterance.
“Hey, baby.” He greeted her softly and came into the room and the first thing she realized was his shirt.
The silence was loud and the stains on his shirt were screaming at her. He comes closer and places a kiss on her forehead as if she’s a clueless dog.
She watched as he walked across their bedroom and through his coat to the floor, sighing heavily.
The silence killed her.
“Daddy?”
He hummed, “Hmm?”
“What did you do to Jared?”
“What do you mean?”
“Where did you have the guys take him?”
“Somewhere.”
“Somewhere?” She questioned, standing up. “Just somewhere? Did you hurt him? He was just being nice—!”
“No!” Harry's voice boomed with anger, his eyes flashing with intensity, causing her to jump. The way his head flicked towards her startled her more. "Jared was a bad guy, baby. Far from nice. And if you couldn't see it from talking to him face to face, then that's a problem.” He scolded walking towards her with each step causing her to back up one, “I could tell from across the room that he was trying to get you. So, I had to take care of him. Look at this," he gestured to the bloodstains on his shirt, "that's Jared's blood. He wanted to get you all to himself." She flinched as he barked his words out at her. Harry's words were harsh and filled with a protective rage as he explained the violent altercation that had just taken place.
“So you know what I did?” He said, voice deep and cruel. Eyes peering deep into hers. His tone was chilling, a coldness that sent shivers down her spine as he spoke. His eyes, dark and intense, seemed to bore into her soul as he revealed his dark secret.
Tears welled up in her eyes, a mix of fear and sorrow clouding her vision. She couldn't believe what she was hearing, couldn't fathom the depths of his cruelty.
And then he said it, those three words that echoed in the silence of the room. "I killed him." The words hung in the air, heavy and ominous, as the weight of his confession settled between them. Harry's nonchalant demeanor only added to the horror of his admission, as if taking a life was nothing more than a casual event in his twisted world.
The truth of his actions hit her like a freight train, a realization that shook her to the core. Harry killed a man for flirting with her. She had known there was darkness within him, but this revelation was beyond anything she could have imagined. Her mind raced with questions, with the need to understand how he could have done such a thing.
As she looked into his eyes, she saw no remorse, no guilt. Only a cold emptiness that chilled her to the bone. And in that moment, she knew that she was in the presence of a monster.
“I know the man Jared is,” He said. “He preys on younger drunk girls and shoves them in his car and takes them to his place. You know how many times we’ve caught him for that? Going after you was him trying to get back at me for lashing at him in the poker room.”
As she slowly backed away from him, her heart pounding in her chest, she couldn't find the words to express the shock and disbelief that filled her. "Why—Why would—Why would you kill him?" she finally managed to whisper, her voice barely above a breath. The room felt heavy with the weight of his confession, as if there were another presence in the house, one that she couldn't see but could feel with every fiber of her being.
His eyes bore into hers, filled with a mix of determination and desperation. "I did it for you. I did it because of you," he explained, his voice low and raw with emotion. He took a step closer, his breath warm against her skin, sending shivers down her spine. "I couldn't stand to see him lay a finger on you. It drove me crazy. The mere thought of another man touching you, it makes me fucking sick. Do you understand that?," he confessed, his words heavy with the weight of his love and possessiveness.
With those words, a sense of understanding came over her but it still flooded her brain of the thought of Harry killing a man. She couldn't imagine herself with anyone else, couldn't fathom another man treating her the way Harry did. Touching her the way Harry did. No one else could make her feel the way he did, with his fierce protectiveness and unwavering devotion.
In her eyes, she saw a love so deep and consuming that it both terrified and exhilarated her. Everything he did excited her but he was always such a mysterious man with a mysterious life behind the big doors of their home.
His thumb brushed the falling tear off her cheek. “The lengths I would go to protect you know no bounds, baby. Don't mistake my actions for those of a dangerous man; I am just protecting you. You have to understand, I am not the villain. Jared is, not me." With a sense of urgency and desperation, he gently shook her cheeks as he spoke, trying to make her see the truth in his words.
He let go of her head, and his hands fell to his sides. Her eyes following his—still trying to find exactly what emotions are filled in his.
“I did it for you. I killed a man that worked for me because he fucking laid a finger on you. Do you know how crazy you make me, darling? The things I’d do for you? Oh, baby I’d stop the Earth from spinning.” He grabbed her face again, but this time she didn’t back away— she melted into his touch. Looking into his eyes she saw something. It was a look of reassurance and once again she saw the man she loved. “I did it because I love you, baby, okay?”
Tears continued to fall down her face but she nodded as he spoke. “Do you understand that?” He shakes her head in his hands, wiping the tears as they fell.
She nods again, “I— I understand sir.”
“I will always protect to you. You understand?”
“Yes, Daddy.”
Harry’s lips pressed to her as he wrapped his arms around her body.
“I’m sorry, baby. I’m so sorry. I should have never lashed out on you like that and I should have never left you alone. I just really hate when any other guys staring at what’s mine.” He spoke to her softly as she shakes her head. “I promise I will never let another man get that close to you again.”
“Any man who lays a finger on you will be damned when I get my hands on them”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SATORU GOJO! 🎂
Pairing: Satoru Gojo x Fem!Reader
Content: Fluffy, Gojo is a dad, female reader, is implied that reader is younger than Gojo,
Notes: December 7 was Gojo's birthday and I wanted to give my man a present 😩 but I was uninspired 😐 really nice, so, belated happy birthday, Gojo! 💗
Comments and reblogs are very welcome ♡
It was almost three-fifteen in the morning.
The soft light from the bedside lamp in the room barely illuminated the room. The low, rhythmic sound of the baby monitor, a muffled noise at first, soon became impossible to ignore for Satoru, who woke up with a frustrated groan.
He was lying in bed, where he had fallen asleep wearing only a crumpled t-shirt and sweatpants. A messy strand of his white hair fell over his eyes as he sat up, rubbing his face with his hands.
"That brat is going to kill me one of these days…" he muttered softly, his sleep-hoarse voice full of sarcasm but with a hint of genuine exhaustion.
[Name], who was lying on the right side, was also awakened from her sleep by the noise of the baby monitor. She was about to get up to go to the baby's room, but Satoru stopped her.
"Let me…"
"Are you sure?" She said, soft and worried.
"Yes, I can handle it. Go back to sleep,” he replied, giving a tired half-smile, before getting up from the bed.
He stood up with slow and somewhat clumsy steps as he walked down the dark hallway of the house to the baby’s room.
Little Kazuya was standing in his crib, holding onto the bars with his tiny fingers, his big, sleepy eyes looking straight at the door. His white hair, which he had inherited from Satoru, was all messy, and his red little face indicated that he had probably been crying for a while.
“Huh? What now?” Satoru grumbled, trying to sound serious, but failing miserably when he saw the innocent and curious look on the baby’s face.
As he approached, the boy stretched out his arms in an automatic gesture, a silent plea that Satoru could not ignore. He leaned over and picked the little one up, feeling the warmth of the trembling little body against his chest. The baby let out a soft sob, the crying finally subsiding now that he was in his father’s arms.
"Do you know what time it is?" Satoru whispered. "Three in the morning, young man. Do you have any idea how important your old man's sleep is?"
Kazuya, of course, didn't answer. Instead, he let out an adorable yawn and rested his head on Satoru's shoulder, causing the sorcerer to let out a long, resigned sigh.
"Tsk, that's what happens when you have my genetics... you can't even sleep like a normal child."
As he murmured, his tone was softer now. Satoru began to rock the baby with slow, rhythmic movements, walking in circles around the room. He ran his free hand gently over his son's back, feeling him slowly relax. Silence returned, except for the distant sound of the city sleeping outside and Kazuya's increasingly slow breathing.
Satoru looked down at the sleeping face of the baby, who was now fast asleep in his lap. The constant arrogance disappeared, replaced by a tender gaze.
"I don't know how you did it, brat... but it seems like you're starting to soften me up," he whispered, before carefully placing Kazuya back in his crib. He straightened up and stood there for a moment, watching his son sleep. A part of Satoru wondered how he, someone so used to living on the edge between strength and pride, now found himself surrendered to such a fragile and small creature.
"This world doesn't deserve you."
Walking back into the room, he saw [Name] there. She was half-awake, her face illuminated by the dim light of the lamp, her expression soft and restless.
Satoru looked at her and sighed. He lay down on the bed next to her. They stared at each other in silence for a while, before she spoke. "Did he fall asleep?"
"Yes." He mumbled. "After making me spin around with him for 7 minutes."
[Name] laughed softly. "I consider that pretty quick for his sleeping patterns."
"Oh, sure..." Satoru rolled his eyes, but soon smiled when he heard her laugh.
It wasn't just the sound itself, but the fact that she was more comfortable, more at ease than when he had known her. When their paths had crossed, [Name] had been as shy and reserved as a flower before spring. The memory of her back then — her eyes always downcast, her fear of speaking her mind — still haunted him. But there, in the dim light of the night, as she smiled softly with a light humor, he saw how much she had changed. And, perhaps, how much he had changed too.
"Tomorrow is your birthday," [Name] says, her eyes fixed on his, a warm expression lighting up her face.
"Hm? Oh, yes," Satoru answers absently, as if he had forgotten, but the slight glint in his blue eyes indicated otherwise.
"I want to make you a cake."
"A cake, huh? What flavor?" he asked, arching an eyebrow curiously, his tone slightly playful.
"It's a secret! The flavor will be a surprise."
Satoru tilted his head with a mocking smile. "If it was supposed to be a surprise, there would be no need to even talk about the cake, right?"
[Name] laughed, covering her mouth with her hand, as she did whenever she tried to be discreet. "Satoru, you are a silly!"
Satoru. The sound of his own name did something strange inside him. Not in a bad way — quite the opposite. It had been a while since anyone had called him that, by his first name, and the feeling remained funny, almost unsettling, like a distant memory of the intimacy he was no longer used to having.
He couldn't remember the last time someone had called him Satoru so naturally, without reverence, without fear or weight. It was strange. But it was good.
When he was at home, with [Name] and his son, he wasn't the strongest jujutsu sorcerer Satoru Gojo. He was just Satoru. Just Satoru.
That small realization made him smile softly, without notice it. When [Name] noticed, she laughed again, for no apparent reason, just because the lightness of the moment seemed contagious. Satoru accompanied her laughter with a muffled sound, almost a laugh, but low, careful not to wake little Kazuya in the next room.
He looked up at the ceiling, his body relaxing further against the mattress. Satoru lightly squeezed her hand, still intertwined with his.
He didn't need to be the strongest one. He didn't need to prove anything to anyone.
The house returned to silence. The only sound was the calm rhythm of their breathing. When he finally closed his eyes, still holding her hand, Satoru felt that, for the first time in a long time, he was not alone in the world.
And that was enough.

can you write something with dad! Vernon?? idk but I'd really love to see it
"Baby?"
Pairing: Dad!Chwe Vernon x Mom! F! Reader
A/N: Heyyy! So I did take into consideration that he is an older brother however, I wanted him to be a bit naive when it comes to younger kids. (he'd still be a great dad!)
Genre: Fluff (Hint of crack)
Word count: 4.1k
Synopsis: Vernon says many things, but one word recently caught your son's attention.
You come home from a quick trip to the store and notice Vernon sitting on the couch with your son, watching a cartoon.
When they hear the door close, they both turn to face you in unison. "You came back fast," Vernon remarks as he gets up to help you with the bags.
"Was I not supposed to? You boys looked like you were enjoying your alone time, huh?" You cross your arms, teasing him as he puts the groceries away.
Unable to hide his smile, he turns away. "Well, we did have to pause a very important show…" His sarcasm is relentless.
"Really? Is Spongebob that important?" you reply, amused. "Y/N, it's Spongebob." Vernon looks at you as if it’s the most evident thing ever.
“Yeah, baby, it’s Spongebob!” your son exclaims excitedly, a grin lighting up his face. His new vocabulary word catches you off guard, and you can’t help but raise an eyebrow in curiosity. “Baby?” you echo, trying to understand where he picked it up.
He nods enthusiastically, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “I hear Daddy call people that on the phone all the time! Isn’t it funny?” He bursts into giggles, clearly amused by his use of the word.
Shifting your gaze to Vernon, You put your hand firmly on your hip, ready to confront him. He tries to focus on unpacking the groceries but can’t meet your eyes. “Oh, he does?” you say in an amused tone, watching Vernon gulp nervously.
“Yes, I hear him call you that too, but I don’t understand because you’re not even a baby! Daddy’s silly,” your son continues, still giggling. His laughter rings out as he looks from you to Vernon, clearly enjoying the playful moment—at least for him.
"We'll talk later," you say, glancing at Vernon. Then, you walk over to your son, who sits quietly, and take a seat beside him on the plush couch. "Listen," you begin, choosing your words carefully, "I know there might be times when you hear Daddy calling me—or whoever that word—but I need you to understand that you can't call me that, okay?" Your voice is soft and gentle, hoping to ease the confusion you're seeing in his little frown.
“Why not?” he asks, his big eyes searching yours for an explanation.
You take a deep breath, wanting to convey the importance of what you're about to say. “Because I'm your 'Mommy,' not your 'baby.'"
His face shifts into a thoughtful expression, and after a moment, he replies, "Okay… I won't call you that anymore." A smile breaks across your face, and you reach over to ruffle his hair affectionately.
You let him continue watching his show before turning back to Vernon. "Listen, babe. The only time I ever said the word 'baby' on the phone with anyone but you was when I was talking to an actual tiny human. Other than that, I only call you that."
You watch him patiently as he explains, "It's okay, Vernon. I understand; it just caught me off guard for a moment. But then I thought about it, and I knew you wouldn't do something like that." You give him a reassuring smile, your heart feeling warm.
"But you have to watch what you say now that our little munchkin is picking up on everything," you tease, glancing at your son who is giggling happily.
"Yeah, you’re right about that," Vernon chuckles, pulling you close and wrapping his arm around you as he enjoys the sight of your son’s cheerful smile.
Your son turns to face both of you, curiosity getting the best of him. "But…" He thinks for a moment, then asks innocently, "Why does Daddy call you that, Mommy?"
"Well… I'm not sure how to explain it, but—" Vernon cuts you off. "I call her that because she is my baby, the same way you're our baby." You cringe slightly at his wording.
Your son bursts into laughter. "What? Mommy's your baby? Daddy, I don’t think you understand how the family tree works… I learned about it in school yesterday. Want me to show you the paper?" Vernon is left speechless by your son's naive and unintentional fact-check.
You cover your mouth to hide your laughter, failing miserably. "You know what? Maybe I should review that paper with you…" Vernon takes your son's hand, and they both walk to get the paper. You can't help but laugh at his flushed face.

Stay A While (2)
Summary: Terry and Treece are feeling the sparks again.
Pairing: Terry Richmond x Black!OC
Word Count: 3,659
Part: 2 of ??
Warnings: None. This one's a safe for work slow burn. Enjoy.
Previous
Grocery shopping was Patrice's private pastime. She was the queen of her universe when she walked through aisles every Saturday morning. Every flash bargain and value-sized item bent to her will for a chance at making it to her humble abode and fulfilling its one purpose in life. Employees greeted her like royalty. Customers started conversations like old friends, always giving her the scoop on any sale they'd overheard in their neighborhood Facebook groups. She was happy. She was zen. She was in her element.
"Do you need this?"
She was a woman dragging around a large man intent on breaking any modicum of concentration she had left.
Patrice stopped and looked over her shoulder at Terry, who held a bag of cotton candy grapes up in the air for her inspection. "No, TJ. Put it down."
"Why? You like grapes."
"Because we're getting grapes from the farmer's market. Now, put it back."
Her rebuke was sweet but stern. Having him as a way too familiar roommate was becoming easier as the days passed. But she'd be lying if she said she didn't miss the freedom to go for a walk, watch a movie on the couch, or even enjoy an intimate moment alone in her own house without a man looming somewhere in the very near background.
He didn't allow her to travel alone, and she never had the energy to protest.
"You don't have to talk to me like I'm a kid," he grumbled as he put the grapes back in their place.
"Then stop acting like one. I have a list. I know what I need."
"I know what I need." He exaggerated his mimicry for maximum effect.
"You see how that was childish?"
"Whatever."
Patrice ignored him in favor of browsing packages of beef for the best deal. If she didn't respond, maybe he would get the hint. And, for a few moments, he did. Terry took a break in conversation to scan the immediate area quietly. He noted each patron and their most important details before checking the exit and entry points at the front of the store. They weren't secure enough, but he could manage if the situation required evacuation.
A lack of action soon turned his attention back to Patrice, who still hadn't decided. He gave her a slow once over and smiled at how much focus she put into such a simple choice. Her brow remained furrowed in intense thought, transforming her into the ninth-grade Patrice he met during a chance encounter in the library. Truthfully, he didn't have much of an opinion either way. He just wanted to talk to her every second of the day, even if it meant being annoying.
"Get that one."
His sudden interruption startled Patrice out of her zone, adding a final straw to an already exhausted camel's back. Terry grinned in triumph as she closed her eyes for a calming breath.
"Terry," she spoke, slow and measured to keep the peace. "Take the other half of this list and get out of my face. Don't come back until you find everything. I'll meet you at the register."
She didn't give him much time to protest before she shoved a carefully torn half of paper into his chest and sent him on his way. He gave her a sarcastic salute, which she waved off without a second look. She needed a moment alone and didn't care if he came back with Fruity O's instead of Fruit Loops if that meant he would be out of her hair for more than 10 minutes.
Terry found himself slowly meandering around the grocery store with a tiny basket in tow, exhausted by all the options on each aisle. If Patrice hadn't been so meticulous with her lists, he would've given up on the mission and gone back to home base with his tail tucked between his legs.
After sourcing the perfect pint of Oreo ice cream as an apology for his behavior, Terry found himself drawn to the sound of laughter on the next aisle. Sure enough, Patrice was parked by the frozen vegetables and engaged with a man dressed in the store's colors with his eyes directed far too low to be looking at Patrice's face.
Terry quickly reached her location, stopping behind Patrice to show her guest the full extent of his scowl.
Patrice noticed how his once loose body language had gone stiff and sighed. She didn't need to investigate the problem. Only her human pitbull could make a man cower in fear like that.
"Derrick, this is Terry. Terry, this is Derrick. He usually helps me get stuff to my car."
"Ah, man. It's a good thing I'm here, right? We don't need you taking too many breaks from stocking. Mornin' rush can get crazy."
"Terry," Patrice admonished with a harsh whisper and an elbow to his stomach.
Terry remained steadfast, keeping his eyes on Derrick while taking one step closer. A taunting smile tugged on the right side of his mouth. He waited on any sign of fight from his unspoken adversary.
Derrick stood in palpable discomfort, sizing up the outcomes if he decided to test his luck. Each mental scenario led him back to some instance of physical harm on his last shift of the week. He had plans for the weekend, none involving a trip to the emergency room.
Patrice stood between a rock and a hardheaded man, praying that the Lord would end her suffering.
"That's what I was about to say," Derrick answered before shifting his attention back to Patrice. "I think I oughta get going. See you around, Ms. Ellis?"
"Same time next week."
He nodded in half-hearted agreement and hurried out of dodge, with Terry keeping a watchful eye until he was safely around the corner.
Patrice groaned with one hand, rubbing tight circles at her temple. "What in the hell was that about?"
"He wouldn't even look you in the eye. If he can't look you in the eye when he's speaking, he can't protect you, and he doesn't respect you."
"I'm not looking for his protection. I need this water loaded into my trunk every week when you aren't here!"
"I'll never not be here. Problem solved."
His declaration was so sure, so matter of fact, that it left Patrice no room for retort. So she resorted to schoolyard antics.
It was her turn to mock him with an exaggerated, deep voice. "Problem solved. Push the damn cart since you got so much energy."
He obliged without protest and a proud, self-satisfied grin that Patrice couldn't see while she led the way to the register. An unexpected system error had halted all transactions, leaving them log jammed in a long line of restless customers.
Together, they stood sharing light banter and running through weekend tasks, resembling any other couple making a store run to strangers observing them from the outside looking in. Former acquaintances, however, had no problem drawing attention to the pair from three spots back in line.
"I know that ain't who I think it is." Both Patrice's and Terry's eyes darted up to find the source of the loud outburst, only to whisper 'fuck’ in tandem when they spotted Katrina Spivey waving her arms to grab their attention. "Hey, Terry Richmond!"
Terry pretended to ignore being singled out by turning his back, earning a stifled laugh from Patrice. Katrina, not one to be deterred, used the moment to push past patrons in line until she reached her destination with a host of angry faces in her wake.
"Well, if it ain't Mr. and Miss Homecoming in the flesh. You two finally stopped kidding around and got married?"
"No," Terry answered without much explanation, his back still turned. Patrice reluctantly made up his slack.
"What Terry meant to say was that we're not married. We're not together at all, actually. But he's here to visit me for a while."
"What a blessing it is to have friends you can lean on when you need a helping hand."
"Amen."
An awkward tension settled into the conversation's lull, compounded by Terry's outright refusal to engage. Patrice was in deep water without a paddle and a co-captain who had already jumped ship.
Katrina wouldn't let the conversation end and take her newfound place in line. She continued to pry.
"Both of y'all look good! How long has it been since we last saw each other, huh? Gotta be since Terry's graduation send-off."
Patrice feigned interest with a hollow smile. "Yeah, I think that was it. A looong time ago. All grown up now."
"And thank God for it! I remember how sad you looked all night because ol' Terry was moving away. Like a little crying puppy!"
Katrina's laughter didn't quite reach Terry or Patrice, who bristled at mentioning one of the more contentious nights in their friendship.
"Everybody's been a little young and dumb, right? Like when you and BJ got caught underneath the bleachers during state championships."
Checkmate. A little reminder of her indiscretions had turned Katrina's condescending smile into a mean mug that could burn through anyone not equally as stubborn.
Terry showed his approval with a light nudge against Patrice's arm. That was his girl. Sweet as pie but a tongue coated in venom when backed against the wall. He'd been on the receiving end on one too many occasions. It felt good to be on the winning side this time.
Three seconds of a Western standoff had culminated in a gift sent via store intercom.
"Apologies for the stoppage, folks. Our registers are back up and running. Thanks for your patience."
Terry moved the cart to place items on the conveyor belt while Patrice waited for the conversation to resume.
Recovering from the sharp end of a verbal lashing, Katrina cleared her throat and grabbed hold of her cart in preparation to skip lines.
"Well, I don't wanna hold y'all too much longer. If y'all don't think you're too good to mingle with us Francis High Hornets anymore, Corey's throwing a little Juneteenth gathering at his daddy's pool hall. This is my personal invite for the both of you."
"We were already invited. Maybe we'll make an appearance."
"That'd be grand."
"I bet it would."
Nice nasty smiles passed between the two foes until Katrina was off to harass some other unsuspecting patron.
Patrice tried to let go of her frustration with an angry huff before turning to catch up with Terry, who was casually moving groceries from the bagging station to the shopping basket. He waited a moment before acknowledging the obvious.
"You over it now, or do I need to iron a shirt for tonight?"
"I'm over it," Patrice answered plainly. She calmly handed over payment for the day's groceries and smiled ever so sweetly to bid the cashier farewell. To an outsider, she'd returned to her zen state without much effort. Terry was no outsider and kept a cautious eye on her as they loaded bags into the trunk and got settled in the front seat of her SUV.
"You sure you're good," he asked as he backed out of their parking space.
"I'm sure, TJ," she answered with almost too much enthusiasm. Terry started a mental countdown for the other shoe to drop. "I'll iron the shirt. You need to shave."
--------
The final verdict? A plain white T-shirt.
An hour of searching, choosing, rejecting, and choosing again led them to a plain, crisp white tee. Patrice said it went better with her yellow wrap dress, which she chose because her girlfriends were all in dresses, and she wanted to match the occasion. It all sounded like made-up bullshit to Terry. Still, he accepted being treated like a Ken Doll because it meant that his Barbie would agree to a two-hour hard stop at the festivities.
He'd already started his stopwatch when they pulled up on a busy street in front of an even busier hole in the wall.
The smell of fresh grease greeted them upon crossing the threshold from outside into Mister C's Bar and Lounge. Fried fish, French fries, and wings in any flavor you could ask for sat in the service window, waiting for their delivery to any one of the patrons packed from wall to cinderblock wall. Terry inhaled deeply and let his scowl drop for one second to fantasize about a bite of Corey Sr.'s signature catfish and fries basket.
Next came the familiar mix of sweat and weed near the dancefloor as bodies intertwined to some GloRilla song neither of them recognized. Thick traffic in the center of the room paused Patrice on her path to the pool tables, locking her between Terry and a crowd that wouldn't budge.
"Excuse me!" she shouted over a swell of crowd reaction to a new song. "I need to get by!"
No response. Not even a look back as she used a hand to create space between her and a group of men debating nonsense. Before she could try again, Terry used one hand to push her forward and his voice to clear the way.
"Yo, step out of the way. We need to get through." Direct and to the point. He left no room for misinterpretation, and his baritone's boom left no confusion about who was calling the shots. Patrice watched with her lips slightly parted in awe.
The first reaction to his demand was the embers of confrontation. Each member of the group sized Terry up, noticing his heavy scowl and size in comparison to their own. Then, they realized that this wasn't a winning game.
The flashiest of the group nodded, though disdain at the mere suggestion that he was in the way kept his mouth in a tight frown. "Yeah, you good, OG. My fault."
Another light push propelled Patrice forward as Terry maintained with each man until they had passed.
Once they were out of the mix and nearing their destination, he advised, "Stay close." Patrice nodded her compliance, shocking Terry into a slight smile in appreciation for her obedience.
Sparks of electricity shot between them but had no time to turn into a total current before Corey called out to them.
"Treece! Terry! We over here!"
Surrounded by familiar faces from Francis Edward's Class of 2010, Corey welcomed them with open arms and his ever-present 100-watt smile. At a slight 5'6", 150 on his best day, he'd always been larger than his frame would suggest. Loud and flamboyant had always been the name of his game, earning him anything he set his sights on.
It didn't take long for the trio and Corey's wife, June, to fall into familiar habits and friendly jabs at one another as they took their seats in a makeshift VIP section by the pool tables. The Three-Headed Monster was their moniker in high school, and they moved like a military force. Terry was the enforcer, while Corey and Patrice served as judge and prosecutor. If you had an issue with one, you had an issue with all three.
"Your security is lax. Who trained them?" Terry pointed out during a dead spot in conversation.
Corey followed his eyeline to the two young men standing at the door and back. "My boy at the sheriff's office. What you see?"
"They look soft. It wouldn't take much to overpower them and get in for some drama. You only have one exit. Somebody breeches this place, and you're on the hook for a tragedy. Plus, the one on the left is scared. He'll be the first to leave if things get hot. Watch him."
"Impressive," June remarked, smiling at Patrice, who subtly playfully waved her off.
"Hm." Corey took a long pull from his cigar, taking in the information before responding." You here for a minute, T? I got some connections over at Liberty if you looking to get back in the swing of things."
"Contract?"
"Whatever you need, man. You know I'm good for it."
Terry looked over at Patrice for some indication that she believed in Corey, and she returned with a subtle nod and encouraging smile. June looked between them and then at her husband before clearing her throat.
"It looks like Kel and his boy are back on the pool table. You know he still owes you a game from when he cheated last week."
"Hell yeah," Corey agreed as he turned in his seat to get a look at his enemy. "Aye, T, you trynna make $100 real quick?"
"It's either that or you gotta come dance with me," Patrice challenged. "This rum and pineapple got me feeling a little loose."
She wasn't lying. A taste of alcohol in her system was starting to make her want to explore parts of the Patrice she thought she left at North Carolina A&T. Every heart-rattling thump of Megan Thee Stallion's latest and greatest had her thinking about reminding everyone in the room that she could move with the best of them.
Her little grind in her seat made Terry show teeth in a small grin before he stood to his full height and looked down at her. His eyes were hooded and dreamy from some combination of exhaustion and a contact high, reintroducing that spark from before.
"Don't go too far. I'll be back with your money in a little bit."
Patrice's tongue felt too heavy to respond coherently past a punch-drunk nod. June watched her watch him make his way down the platform and into the crowd until both men were out of earshot.
She whistled and shook her head. "That's a good-looking man, ain't he?"
"Who? Corey? He alright. He's like a slightly more attractive Taye Diggs."
"First off, ouch," June laughed. "Second, I was talking about Terry. He was cute in high school, but I'll be damned if that second puberty didn't take him to a whole 'nother level."
"Don't tell him that. His head is big enough."
"You know you wrong for that." If the music weren't so loud, everyone in the building would've heard the pair guffawing over Patrice's petty insult.
Once they contained themselves, June took a sip from her margarita and shifted in her seat to get closer to Patrice.
"He likes you still." Five plain words shook Patrice internally as she struggled to maintain a poker face. June continued. "I see the way he looks for your approval and damn near trips on himself to fulfill your every whim. You're all he talks about when he and Corey get on the phone."
"They talk?"
"From time to time. I think he needs a man's opinion sometimes, you know?"
Patrice wrestled with the influx of information as June continued.
"That man is mean as a snake. Always has been and always will be. But, you bring something out of him. Even if you can't always see it."
"If that were the case, things would've been different for us back then."
June shrugged. "Maybe. Or maybe you're right where you're supposed to be. I know I can't make you do what you don't wanna do, but if what I say means anything, focus on today. Thirty-two-year-old Terry is so much more prepared to love you than eighteen-year-old Terry was."
Punctuating her advice, June tapped Patrice's leg twice before taking a step away to refill their tray of food.
Focus on today.
The words replayed in her mind repeatedly; even after their two hours were up, Terry had returned $100 richer, and they were back on the road to their quiet slice of the world.
They rode together in content quiet, letting the Quiet Storm host talk while Terry tapped his fingers on the steering wheel in time with the music.
Randomly, he would glance in her direction, assuming she had lost the sleep battle to her old friend Bacardi. When he reached over to adjust the air vent on her side of the car, he was surprised when she mumbled a low "thank you."
"My bad. I thought you were sleeping."
"No. My head is swimming, though. Don't let me drink that much anymore." she laughed.
He chuckled along with her but didn't agree to keep her from letting her hair down occasionally. In his eyes, seeing her relaxed and carefree was a gift to the world.
The opening notes of Tevin Campbell's "I'm Ready" swirled around them, sounding like a secret message to Patrice as she focused on streetlights to keep the contents of her dinner inside her stomach.
"Hey," she whispered before she could catch herself. Terry acknowledged her with a glance. "Do you think you're still scared?"
"Of what?"
"Of whatever kept you away for so long?"
He thought for a moment, wanting to make sure he was clear with his word. "No. I was never afraid of you. I was afraid of bringing you along for a ride I might not survive. That's not a threat anymore. So, no, I'm not scared anymore."
You know I'm ready
To love you
Forever
Patrice reached across the center console until she reached Terry's hand to interlock her fingers with his. He gave her an appreciative squeeze without taking his eyes off the road.
"I-I don't think I'm scared anymore either."
Her heart raced wildly behind her ribs, and Patrice was that if Terry pressed his wrist close enough to hers, he could feel her pulse accelerate. He didn't mind either way. Sweaty palms and trembling fingers would never be enough for him to let her go. Not again.
As if she'd break if he moved too fast, Terry brought her hand to his lips slowly. One kiss. Another. Two more. And a final one for good measure.
When he'd had his fill of her skin, he pressed the spot up against his cheek. He needed to feel and absorb her until they were one body.
But, for tonight at least, this was enough.

Cold-hearted Wolf
Master list
Pairing: Cregan Stark x Martell princess reader
Tags: NSFW, Angst, fluff, arranged marriage, eventual smut, cregan is repressed and mean at first, then falls for the reader.
Epilogue
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
A year had passed since the Cregan's return, and Winterfell stood in a state of hard-won peace.
Now, a seasoned and respected leader, Cregan and has made the best of your rule, with you as one of his advisors. In your midst was your four-month-old son, Robert, a bundle of energy and curiosity.
In the grand library of Winterfell, the warm light of the afternoon spilled through tall windows. Cregan sat on the floor, a giggling Robert cradled in his arms. The heir’s chubby fingers reached for his father's dark hair, and Cregan playfully dodged the tiny grasping hands, eliciting more laughter from the child.
"Look at you," Cregan cooed to Robert, "Mama's reading her important papers, and we're just having fun."
You sat at a table covered with maps and scrolls, engrossed in the strategic considerations of the Riverlands. Your brow furrowed as you examined the details. Cregan's loyal hound lay at your feet.
Your lord husband lifted your son high into the air, eliciting gleeful giggles from the child. "Yes, my boy," he laughed, "Your mother does look so very pretty when she's angry."
"Im not angry," your head shot up from the maps.
Someone knocked on the door, and a man clad in furs, and armor had entered the room. "Your presence is requested at a council meeting, Your lordship," he informed after bowing.
Cregan looked down at his son. "I must go, little one." He kissed Robert's chubby cheek before turning to you. "Can't I bring him with me to the council room? He's a strategic genius in the making."
With a hint of amusement in your eyes, you rose from your chair, the dog stirring to get up as your arms reached for Robert. "He won't be dissecting maps, my love."
Cregan smiled at you both, pulling you into an embrace. "Well then, I suppose I must leave my two favorite people behind for now."
Against your wishes, his words had your cheeks flushed. Cregan chuckled at the effect he had on you, wanting to tease further. "Did I mention how beautiful you look today?"
Your protest was half-hearted as you playfully swatted his chest. "Go to your council."
He chuckled and gave you a gentle kiss before whispering. "Come with me, love. I want you there."
You sighed, realizing you couldn't resist the plea in his eyes. "Robert needs to be put to bed first."
You handed Cregan a particularly important map from your pile, along with notes you had made.
Cregan kissed your lips tenderly, then turned to Robert. "Give your father a kiss." He leaned down to give Robert a peck on his squishy cheek.
He headed into the war room.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
The council chamber was filled with the murmurs of maesters discussing the growing feud between the dragons. They recounted the grievances and exchanged worried glances as they deliberated on the implications of this feud. The tension was palpable in the room.
As Cregan and his advisors contemplated the brewing conflict, the door to the chamber burst open. A maester entered hurriedly, introducing the arrival of Prince Jacaerys Velarion, who followed suit.
“Lord Stark." Jace addressed.
“Welcome, my prince.” Cregan acknowledged him. “My condolences for the death of your grandsire,”
“Thank you,”
A quiet presence had entered the room. You slipped in through the heavy doors without making a sound and walked in the shadows. You approached your husband quietly. His eyes found you as you made your way to him. They always did, and he took your hand in his own.
You bowed to Jecaerys and he nodded in acknowledgement. "My lady."
"My prince," you nodded. "You have my prayers and condolences."
"Thank you." Jace nodded. "My uncle has usurped the rightful queen, Rhaenyra. The Hightowers have just broken a peace of more than a hundred years."
The gravity of the situation was clear to everyone in the council chamber. War was on the horizon, a conflict that could have far-reaching consequences not only for the North but for the entire realm. Cregan gave you a significant look, understanding that you had to prepare their kingdom for the uncertain times ahead.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Cregan Stark quietly entered his bedchamber, the flickering candlelight casting a warm glow around the room.
You, unaware of his presence, walked around, cradling your son inyour arms, softly singing a Dornish lullaby to the baby, the words filled with images of sun, sand, and sea. Your melodic voice had a soothing effect on the child.
As you gently placed Robert into his crib, Cregan watched with a tender smile. He couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of protectiveness.
Stepping closer, Cregan embraced you from behind and kissed the top of your head. Little Robert's chest rose and fell as he slept. "He looks content," he whispered.
You turned to face him, your eyes meeting grey ones. "I would do anything to keep him that way."
Cregan looked at his wife, his gaze filled with a mix of love and exhaustion. "I have to go to the Riverlands. To show the Targaryens that the Starks are with them."
Your expression softened, and you held him close. "Aye, that you do, my lord -"
"Cregan, please." He asked, taking your hand in his.
"Cregan." You corrected yourself.
He sighed, resting his forehead against yours. "I don't want to leave you. I want to keep you with me. At all times."
Your eyes were filled with understanding as you held him. "You won't have to. We'll come with you. I can protect both of you."
Cregan shook his head gently, his voice filled with a sense of duty. "There must always be a Stark in Winterfell."
You felt a swirl of emotions, a confusion of whether the Stark in question was your or your son. But as if he could read your thoughts, Cregan lifted your chin and whispered, "It's you I mean, y/n."
She couldn't help but feel a surge of adoration for him as their eyes locked. The depth of his love and trust overwhelmed her.
Seeing the distress in his eyes, you comforted him. "Don't worry about me. Just because I had a baby doesn't mean I've lost my training." You smiled, your eyes gleaming with determination. "Remember when I knocked you on you arse?"
He held back a chuckle. "On my arse?" He repeated.
"Percisely, in a dress, no less."
"You caught me by surprise." He whispered through clenched teeth, sweeping your his grasp and digging his fingers into the ticklish spots on your body he came to know very well.
Not wanting to wake the baby, you shot up one hand to coveryour mouth as you giggled.
A soft chuckle escaped Cregan. "Have I apologized for underestimating you?"
"About a hundred times." You grinned. "If any idiot tries to go after you or Robert, they'll regret it."
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
The stars shined brightly over Winterfell, accompanied by soft winds and howls as Cregan made love to you.
He'd always perceived the act as one of honor. Especially with you. The raw emotion of his impending distance lay heavy in his intense touches, kisses, and caresses.
You gasped, glossy eyes worshipping him with vulnerability. "I love you,"
You tried hard to maintain a quiet tone. Robert slept peacefully in the agecent room. But still, it was difficult. Your body couldn't suppress your reactions that well when Cregan got primal like he was now.
He bent down to kiss you. Whispering, "Gods, I love you." Into your lips. His hips a steady rhythm against yours. Your responses did more to him than you could possibly know. Hearing his name escape through a moan on your lips filled him with something intense, a need to drive deeper into you. He wanted to be as close to you as he possibly could in this moment. To remember it when he had to go away.
He grasped you by your thighs, groaning against your whimpering mouth. Damn the dragons. Let them fight their own battles for once. He wanted to stay with you and with his child. He wanted to raise Robert with you, to teach him to fight, hunt, lead.
But couldn't set aside his duty.

hi !! could i request an alastor x bunny!reader where the reader is like an idol overlord ? also the reader is a major bimbo :3c could be nsfw as well !! ty !!!! ur writing is amazing !!! <3
⁺˳✧༚ ˚ 𝒷𝒾𝓂𝒷𝑜 𝒷𝓊𝓃𝓃𝓎 。୨୧˚
— 𝜗𝜚 alastor x f!reader
ᶻ 𝘇 𐰁 summary : you may be a very established overlord but alastor will always protect his bunny, especially after her shows, especially when she’s in heat. nsfw. violence. murder. its alastor here. soft dom alastor. finger sucking. tentacles… shh. praise.
“lay a finger on her pretty little head and i’ll rip yours off before you can take your next breath.” alastors static spat at an overly touchy low status overlord who thought it a good idea to try and grope his bunny backstage in front of all her closest, most powerful friends, just as she came into heat. his very underdressed bunny who was extremely vulnerable right now. what an idiot.
your show had just finished and your suppressants were wearing off, skin sticky and sweet with the glazing of sweat. you were so dizzy and losing coherent thought, the only thing on your mind was alastor and his comfort, his scent. “al,” you whined, ignoring the other man in front of you and his attempts to touch you. alastor twitched in frustration at the need in your voice.
“come on baby, you don’t go dressing like that unless you want somebody to touch you!” the overlord slurred, disregarding alastor and being unrelenting. his sleazy form lingering around you. it’s surprising he’s still breathing with the look on your partners face but he has far more important things to consider. you.
a soft, ‘fuck you,’ came from your lips in the direction of the scum, glaring at him, you could tell that annoyed the overlord.
the man gritted his teeth, fear of alastor apparently still not sinking in, “little bimbo, you better watch your mouth,” he sneered.
you looked down at your appearance and huffed, “you’re just mad that someone half your size in a tiny skirt is more powerful than you.” you snap triggering a proud smile coming across alastor’s face and rosie too from what you could see over his shoulder.
“coming from a little bunny getting bested by her heat,” the man got closer to you, your hand squeezing alastor’s thigh tight to let him know you didn’t need him yet, “one pump of my fingers and i’d have you leaving this asshole in seconds.”
the rest of the overlords watched in anticipation, not intervening, not because they didn't want to but because they knew alastor had this under control.
“i suggest, dearie, that you get out of here whilst you still can before i make you experience something so grotesque you’ll be begging for death.”
alastor looked toward rosie and the others, she seemed to be hinting at something, her desolate eyes switching to look at you and then to the low life, licking her lips . “what an idea, rosie dearest!” alastor exclaimed, “i could just,” alastor paused, voice deepening, “do this,”he rasped, slowly detaching you from his side to let rosie’s arms hook around you, her soft figure a comfort to you in alastors absence.
“it’s okay sweetie, just stay with me,” rosie’s soft demeanour soothing you in an attempt to distract you.
alastors size grew gargantuan, slowly stretching out his limbs, enough to swallow the perverted man whole. neon crosses forming over his sadistic smile and face, antlers bigger than before.
rosie’s loving arms squeezed you tightly, burying your face into her as to not see the carnage in your current condition, knowing how fragile you were whether it was showing or not. “rosie’s got you, honey.”
“if you ever breathe the same air as my darling girl again, i will make what im about to do to you look like child’s play.” alastors voice echoed, completely devouring him in his entirety before returning to his regular state as if nothing just happened. “well he tasted bitter.”
as rosie’s grip softened and your guard subsided, you felt that feeling start to surface, “al please,” your voice broke him out of whatever trance he appeared to be in, long tongue darting and licking his lips, predatory gaze falling to you.
“get thy rabbit out of harms way,” zestial spoke abruptly and tenderly, worry evident in his actions, rosie’s too.
alastors soft ears flushed back before scooping you up in his embrace, head tucked into his chest, “til next time, dears.” then before you knew it, you were out of the place.
the familiar ease of the hotel now filling you with a partial sense of relief. “shhh bunny, we’re home, nothing to hurt you now but me,” the gentle comfort of alastor’s voice rung in your ears. emotions finally rushing in, heart racing and head pounding after such an intense scene from your boyfriend. “darling?” your fluffy ear twitched, slowly raising your head to look at alastor as he guided you to sit atop the top of your bed. “tell me what you need.”
“need you,” a soft whimper fell from your lips, pulling alastor toward you. “please, need you close.” your voice was small and timid yet desperate. a stark contrast compared to your usual hyper excited and confident self.
“come here, my bunny,” alastor disregarded his jacket and backed up to the top of the bed, arms spread as you crawled gingerly into his lap, back flush against his chest, your hands now clutching his arms that moved to wrap around you. the side of your head resting on his bicep and your chin on his forearm. “good girl.”
“empty-“ you mumbled, nuzzling into him, “wanna be filled.”
alastor used his height advantage and arm to force you to look at him, “how, darling?” his eyes softened as he looked at you, “tell me how.”
a pretty colour of red, the same as alastors slacks, crept up your cheeks, confirming your embarrassment, “fingers,” you whispered, hushed and weak.
“where, bunny?” alastors free hand now cupping your face.
you wordlessly nuzzled into his hand, opening your mouth, needy and wanting. alastor got the hint, shifting his thumb to rest atop your tongue, sharp claw gently scratching the back of your throat as you closed your lips. you let out an involuntary hum as you begun softly sucking and lapping at the digit.
“what a sight,” alastor whispered to himself. “is that all you need, my love?” your wide eyes batted up at him, flustered expression covering your face as you slowly bucked your hips in his lap. “oh, how precious?”
a whip of darkness protruded out of alastor, sliding down your waist, all the way to your thigh. “i’ll make sure you’re full, pretty girl.” you voluntarily spread your legs, slutty outfit making for easy access, oh how alastor loved his bimbo bunny’s little skirts.
the blackness finally made its way to your cunt, nose twitching and a soft cry erupting from your lips, muffled from his fingers. this is all you wanted. all you needed. a cute moan of relief resonated as your pussy was stretched, tentacle fitting so perfectly to your walls.
“this is all you needed isn’t, bunny?” alastors hand moving to stroke your soft floppy ears. “you and i both know that forgettable cretin could never come close to how i make you feel.” you nodded, subtly deepthroating his thumb as you did so.
alastor breathed softly, “good girl.”
A/N : bunny reader is my absolute favourite, i'm in LOVE with writing it <3 thank u so much lovie for this request !!

ੈ♡˳·˖✶ — TEEN DAD! GOJO SATORU x FEM READER
The Zenins want Megumi. Gojo isn’t having it.
wc — 1.7k
tags — one suggestive line after “those girls are better off without you” if you want to avoid it, set after 棠, part of teen dad gojoverse, in which you and Gojo raise Megumi together
Gojo’s been in the doghouse since last night. Not literally, obviously - though he might have preferred it if you were there with him, at least. He’d take anything over being kicked out of your shared bedroom and being forced to sleep on the couch.
If you had it your way, you’d prolong his punishment, but you can’t. Not when, as he told you last night, the Zenins are coming today to wrest Megumi from your custody.
Fat chance.
You’d die before you let that happen.
Gojo’s not too keen on either of those outcomes. For the first time in his life, he’s taking the pacifist’s route and talking it out, though you’re sure his version of talking involves more insults than most people’s.
He thought about simply having it out with the elders, but it’s not worth it. Not when he has a plan for the future of Jujutsu Society. Not when he has you, Megumi, and Tsumiki. He’s playing the long game. He can’t afford to screw it up now.
Being a family man really has ruined him.
Zenin Keiko is a tall woman with a severe black bob and the characteristic Zenin look of perpetual contempt. She’s Naoya’s cousin, alright.
“Twice-removed,” Gojo whispers to you. “Or illegitimate. Something like that, I can’t remember.”
“Shut up,” you whisper back out of the corner of your mouth. “She’s going to hear you.”
Welcoming a Zenin into your home feels like blasphemy, though you suppose Gojo is the closest thing Jujutsu society has to a god.
Gojo’s unimpressed by her, mostly because he feels like the Zenins are mocking him. It’s not like anyone can take him on, but to send someone who has no battle capabilities feels like an insult.
Keiko is an auxiliary manager with no cursed technique to speak of besides a weak barrier. It’s a wonder she has the nerve to speak to Gojo. The Zenins truly did not care about her if they sent her as the proxy to undermine your roles as the Fushiguro children’s guardians. In fact, you suspect that’s the precise reason she was chosen - because she’s expendable.
Keiko, to her credit, shows no sign of fear.
“I’d like to meet the children, Mr. Gojo. It’ll give me a good grasp of what the situation is.”
“Hell no,” Gojo outright laughs in her face. “I’m not letting a Zenin near my brats. Your-“
“Gojo.” You squeeze his knee. Cooperate.
“I’ll go get them,” he says begrudgingly.
The two of you sandwich the children between you on the couch. Tsumiki sits on Gojo’s left. Megumi sits on your right. That way, the two that are most likely to fight are separated. It’s a strategized united front.
“Megumi, do you like your guardians? Do you like staying here?”
Megumi looks at you. You smile at him encouragingly - and there Keiko goes, scribbling away in her notebook. She’s probably saying something about how Megumi is so scared of you he won’t answer the question unless you give him permission.
“Are you sure? Forgive me, but Gojo seems a little…immature for a parent.”
A direct attack right out of the gates. Gojo objects to this very accurate assessment of his character.
“He’s fine, I guess,” Megumi says. There’s more scribbling. You’re starting to hate the sound of pen on paper. “I like-“
He looks at you. There’s a tiny blush on his cheeks, just the faintest hint of red. More quietly, he says, “It’s fine, cause she takes care of us.”
Gojo stares at him, slack-jawed. “Are you kidding me? You are one ungrateful brat. Who found you? Who took you in?”
Tsumiki chimes in, “We like Gojo a lot too! He’s fun.”
Keiko ignores her completely, focusing on Megumi instead. Your distaste for her grows.
“Would you say that Gojo has an active role in taking care of you?”
“Why aren’t you asking Tsumiki anything?” Megumi interrupts. “Her opinion’s important too.”
Keiko gives him a strained smile. Gojo reaches behind Tsumiki on the couch to ruffle Megumi’s hair. He only tolerates this for five seconds before he shakes his head to get him off.
“He loves me,” Gojo says.
“I have Stockholm syndrome,” Megumi says. ‘Help,’ he mouthes.
“He’s joking,” Tsumiki says nervously.
You’ve given up on making them behave. It’s just not happening.
Keiko seems to have given up too. Rather than continue prodding Megumi, she turns to Gojo.
“How often are you home?”
“Basically every day,” Gojo lies. He does try his best, but it’s more like every other day. Such is the fate of the strongest sorcerer.
“Don’t want my baby all alone, poor little thing.”
He catches your look and cackles. “No, the other one. My other baby,” and the kiss he presses to your knuckles is so tender it melts your heart.
Keiko makes an uncomfortable expression. “Please try to stay focused, Mr. Gojo.”
Megumi gags loudly. Tsumiki pinches his arm to get him to shut up and he yelps. Keiko narrows her eyes and makes another note.
“I understand how Gojo might take responsibility for the children,” Keiko says, directing her attention to you, “but how did you come into the picture. Are you a girlfriend-“
“Wife,” Gojo interjects.
Keiko’s entire body does an approximation of what it would look if a human had a screenshot function.
“Aren’t you children?”
You don’t like Keiko at all, but you respect the balls it takes to talk to Gojo like that. All the Zenins seem to have that death wish of wanting to mouth off to the strongest. Maybe it’s a genetic thing.
Gojo shrugs. “If I’m old enough for the missions you send me on, I’m old enough to take care of kids, right? How hard can it be?”
You pinch his thigh. “Gojo.”
“What? It is easy. You just give them a bunch of lollipops and call it a day.”
Keiko’s writing is now background noise to you. “Are you still doing that? I told you-“
“It’s fine! All kids need sugar to grow. I had a sweet tooth when I was their age.”
“And that’s probably the reason why you still have one now! Except it’s rotting your teeth-“
“It’s not-“
“It is!”
“Don’t be so uptight!”
“How does it look if I’m always saying no to him and you’re always saying yes? It isn’t fair, Satoru. Parenting has to be a team effort.”
“What are you talking about?”
“I’m talking about you playing good cop, bad cop with him!”
“Have you gone insane? We went over this! He likes you more than me! There is no good cop, bad cop when he just takes your side every single time.”
“Excuse me,” Keiko says. She’s somehow managed to look a complex combination of perplexed, annoyed, and satisfied. “Please take care of your lovers’ tiffs outside of this interview. I will say that this doesn’t seem like an environment particularly conducive to raising children, however.”
“What do you know?” Gojo says rudely. “The only reason you’re even doing this interview is because I’m letting you.”
Normally, you would tell him off, but in front of the Zenins? You’re a united front. You place a hand on his forearm and look down your nose at the woman in front of you as best as you can when she’s taller than most people you meet.
“I think you’ve overstayed your welcome,” you say.
“You agreed to an interview,” she says.
“An interview, not an inquisition.”
“You can’t refuse a request from the elders without consequences,” she says, as patiently as she would speak to a child. It’s condescending.
“Are you threatening my wife?”
When you look to your side, Gojo’s face is shadowed. His eyes are storm dark and frightening. Keiko can’t hide her visceral reaction.
She forgets her coat on her way out, she’s in such a hurry to leave. Gojo takes it and disappears.
While he’s away, you let Megumi and Tsumiki return to their rooms. They’re muttering amongst themselves, but you don’t pry. Children need their space, too. You’ll talk to them about it later.
He’s back within a minute.
“What did you do with it?” You’re bracing yourself for the answer.
“I just sent a message,” he says, as cheerily as if nothing had happened. “Think we passed that?”
“Gojo, I think that’s the first test you’ve ever failed. Did you see the way she was writing during the last twenty minutes? And Megumi and Tsumiki! Every time they said something, she made a face!”
Gojo shrugs, still so certain of his place in the hierarchy. One day, the elders will get tired of him throwing his weight around like Jujutsu’s one and only tyrant, but not someday soon if they want to keep their heads.
“It’s fine,” he says. “I’m not going to make Megumi and Tsumiki act like repressed little puppet children just so that they can find some way to snipe them out from under us anyways. Who knows, maybe we’ll teach the Zenins a thing or two about healthy child raising. I hear they have two girls now. One of them has no cursed energy. Should we kidnap some more children?”
“Like you know anything about healthy parenting,” you snark. “Those girls are better off without you.”
“Does being mean to me get you off or something?”
“Do you want to find out?”
“I would love to,” he purrs, sliding a hand under your shirt just so slightly so his nails prick at your lower stomach. You grab his wrist.
“Sorry,” you say, your stomach churning at the joke gone wrong. “I can’t.”
He stops immediately. “What’s wrong?”
“I just- They want Megumi badly enough to go to the higher ups. I know what they do to their children. I can’t let him go there, Satoru. I can’t.”
“I won’t let that happen.”
“I can’t stop thinking about those girls.”
“Come here,” he says.
You lean closer to him. He lifts his arm so easily, without thinking. When you slide under it, you fit into him perfectly.
Now that you’re safely tucked under his arm, you feel sheltered from anything that could happen. “I don’t want to give the kids to the Zenins. They’re monsters. And they would make monsters out of them.”
“That’s only if they take them away,” Gojo says, his smile fanged and vicious.
“And if they do?”
“I hope they try.”
You trust him.
You know he’ll keep his word. If Gojo says Megumi and Tsumiki won’t be going to the Zenins as long as he’s alive, then they won’t be going at all.

“I didn’t realize that it’s so important to you that I don’t call you what everyone else does.” He adds, and he’s mostly serious, but Buck can hear the disbelief and a hint of amusement, and he can’t even blame him. He’s being ridiculous.
“This is so stupid, I’m sorry.” Buck grabs Tommy’s belt loop to bring him closer “I just- I’m your Evan.” He mumbles, and sees a smile break out on Tommy’s face. “I like being Evan. To you and only you.” He averts his gaze, looking down and focusing on a button of Tommy’s shirt, his cheeks burning. “It feels special when you call me that. Like it’s- like it’s yours. Like I’m yours.(...)"

Undisclosed Desires - Part 1
Joe Goldberg x female!Reader
Summary: Twenty minutes before he would have met Guinevere Beck, Joe meets you instead. You intruige him, but it will soon become clear that there is something off about you.
Words: 610
This first part is short, but later parts will probably end up being longer. Anyway, Joe Goldberg is my current obsession. I just had to write fanfic.
Masterlist
Hello, You.
You look unsure of yourself. You've walked into Mooney's without a purpose, and now it looks like you're not sure why you came in at all. You wander through the isles aimlessly, glancing at the books without really seeing them. You're not even reading the titles. Then, you stop. You've found something that intrigues you.
You're in the isle F through K. Are you sending me a message? I'd like to think so but no, you're looking - really looking, this time - at our collection of secondhand Stephen King books.
You seem like the type to be a King fan. You’re tiny, can't be more than 5’5”. You're not fat, but you've got a round face that could trick people into thinking so, if you covered up your body more.
You're wearing a Guns ‘N Roses tank top and army-green cargo pants, and Doc Martens. You want people to be impressed when they look at you. You like the attention. I don't know who you're trying to fool, though. It's clear you wouldn't hurt a fly.
In any case, you look like the exact sort of girl who'd enjoy King's more outlandish books. I expect you to go for Desperation, or maybe Pet Sematary, but instead your searching finger glides across the spines of the books and stops at Joyland.
You slide it out from between the others. You look at the front cover, not the back. Appearances are important to you.
Suddenly, you are approaching me. You set the book down on the counter carefully. Almost reverently.
“Hi,” you say.
I like your hair. It's a deep brown, not dyed. You've got a wolf-cut, but you have curls so it looks messier than you probably intended. Your hair covers your ears fully, but I just manage to catch the sparkle of an earring.
“Hi,” I answer. “Just this today?”
“I made a deal with myself when I came in here. Only one book. I have an addiction to buying books.”
I smile, because that's good. It means you might come here again. But then again, I've never seen you before. What if you're not from around here? Just passing through? You could walk out of my life forever, after this.
“Oh yeah?” I ask, casually. “How come I've never seen you here before, then?”
“I just moved here. Trust me, you're going to see a lot of me.” You laugh. “I had a very personal relationship with the woman who runs the bookstore in my old town.”
A ‘personal' relationship? Are you hinting at something? Do you want to have a personal relationship with me?
“Came there that often, huh?”
“At least twice a week.”
“Do you just read that fast? Or…?”
“I read pretty fast, yeah.”
If you were somebody else, I might suggest you get a library card. But if I say that to you, you might actually heed my advice, and then you won't come here as much. Better not to poke that bear.
“Well, here's to hoping I see you again, then. That'll be $ 13,99.”
You hand me your card. You could pay with cash, but you want me to see your name.
“(Y/n). I like your name. It suits you.”
You shrug.
“And your last name… German?”
“Dutch,” you say. “Like I said, I just moved here.”
Funny, I don't detect an accent at all.
I ring you up, pack Joyland for you in a paper bag, and hand it to you. Your smile lights up the entire room. Your teeth are a little crooked, but not unbearably so. It's sort of adorable.
“Thanks,” you say, and: “See you later.”
Then you're leaving. I miss you already.
