Loved the ending of fhjy but I definitely feel like there were some loose ends and plot points that I do want closure for. Does Fig still owe her last record label money for not putting out her sophomore album in time? Is Gorgugs house/soil still infected? What was the relevance to his tree being a warden? The timeline inconsistencies between the 7 and this season with Zelda? I’m sure there’s more O: I need like a 4 hour long adventuring party immediately.

While I was watching the breakup I kept thinking, ooh good writing, this makes a lot of sense for Tommy and his (implied) backstory and with Josh’s whole speech and the parallels with Eddie and denying oneself joy. I was positively giddy about the possibilities for character development for both Tommy and Buck.

Hello again!! So I won’t be explicitly including other ships in KANGVCD at all, since as a fic reader I know that sometimes a secondary pairing that I’m not interested in can take me out of my enjoyment.

That said, I will always try to be faithful to canon on how the characters act towards each other! So while Nami and Vivi won’t be explicitly dating by the end of Alabasta or anything, they will still have that extremely homoerotic bond.

And Ace is for SURE gonna light Sanji’s cig. You can pry that gay ass scene from my cold, dead fingers.

the boober dude has his consult with the specialist first thing tomorrow morning to get an official diagnosis and schedule the surgery. it’s incredibly obvious that he has a torn ligament but they like to do their own exam and diagnostics, so. we had a camping trip scheduled for the first week of august and i already have off of work for that, so i’m hoping to schedule his surgery right before it since he won’t be able to go camping anyway.

Am I doing something for David Tennant’s birthday? Absolutely! Is it actually coming out on his birthday? Absolutely not.

I had started an animatic based on a YouTube community post by @davidtennantgenderenvy with various different David Tennant characters set to John Mulaney’s the one thing you can’t replace. The post came out I think two days before Christmas, and I started the animation soon after. Life and getting cast in a musical got in the way, which brought me to April, animation unfinished and Tennant’s birthday on the way. I rushed to finish the animation by this Thursday (taking enough time to make it look nice enough, though), but here I am Wednesday night, tired after a tech rehearsal two nights before our opening show, animation still lacking color for most of the characters, save for 10 and most of Campbell’s frames, as well as the audio. Since it’s late in the time zone I live in, I’ve given in and decided to finish the animation following the closing of my show on Saturday (it’s a short run) as to not tire myself out this close to opening night (also because I want to give myself time to watch @princeloww’s DT video coming out tomorrow). Very disappointing for me and anyone who actually cares, but I’d rather not stay up until 2 am trying to use my very basic art knowledge to figure out how to give characters beards and 5 O’clock shadows.

Anyways I enjoyed Fionna and Cake ending was it flawless definitely not but I felt it did stay true to what the series is. Adventure Time is literally about how the adventure never ends so did the story leave MANY questions and felt VERY open ended yeah but that’s also how the mains series ended and how distant lands ended and I felt everything served the narrative purpose they were meant too. Winter King waking Fionna up from her fantasy mindset. The Star reminding Simon that he did make a difference even if he doesn’t feel like it. The nature of Simon and Betty relationship was address.

Did the series end very simple and kinda quick paced yeah it did but not surprised adventure time has always ended in the simple things are good right now attitude I do wish HBO will give them more pace time like the battle with scarab could have been longer or more action but adventure time isn’t really known for action so whatever also kinda feel like Tom over exaggerated Simon’s last talk with Betty but I think it’s emotional in the sense that for almost 12 years we thought their relationship was perfect but there was this major flaw that structural the whole relationship 

also Adam muto did mention how if they are allowed they want to make more spin offs so it might not be the last we see of the characters so maybe more answers like why prismo face glitched or who is his boss, etc

i was honestly really disappointed in the joint artist’s statement shared by olly and all who signed it. i know they’ve all signed contracts they legally have to abide by or face legal consequences, but i was still hoping for more. it only takes one broadcaster or contestant to start the domino affect of threats to withdraw. if not that, they could boycott the preparties or refuse interviews/publicity (which is what esc needs to build viewership). the media would have to talk about why some of the contestants are boycotting due to isnotreals genocide in palestine. the contestants should be doing everything they contractually can to bring attention to this.

wearing the artists for ceasefire pins is a nice gesture but it’s purposefully not loud. if you don’t know what it means it goes unnoticed. and i think that barely counts as a statement when most of the general public would have to google it to find out. it would be much more affective to wear a palestinian flag to show meaningful support and it would piss isnotreal off. that being said the palestinian flag is banned in esc and i assume any mention of palestine or the palestinian people as well.

so… what do we do here? what’s the point of all this if their support is superficial? we need actual statements and risks to be taken. i’m sorry but the excuse that they shouldn’t have to sacrifice their opportunity at esc is asinine to me. it’s unfortunate that they’ve been put in this position, yes. but people are dying, children are dying. we’ve been watching a genocide being carried out before our eyes. countless war crimes committed and bragged about with no consequence or signs of stopping. it’s a sacrifice people need to be making. to hopefully save lives and help shift policy.

speaking out and boycotting makes a difference. it could force the ebu to make isnotreal withdraw (let’s be honest they’ll never ban them). or if isnotreal sees that esc isn’t going to be profitable for them and the public opinion is against them they might withdraw themselves. the whole point they’re in esc is to garner support and promote propaganda. we have to show them that that will not be possible. no one will watch. no one will do interviews. no one will participate. the ebu only cares when the money stops. remember that.

so please follow the bds’s call to boycott eurovision

To celebrate, I’ve changed my blog theme entirely (both on mobile n desktop) >.<! I wanted to do something ~unusual~ that is not out of my reach and capabilities, so I thought maybe this would be a good idea... I mean, everyone likes to look at pretty things, right? Tumblr has never been an easy place for me to be on as I struggle with interactions, building connections, and as a result get lonely very easily. More than often, I’ve felt like an outsider on my own blog, because of how unwelcomed I had felt in a space that is created by me. But, I’m trying to work on those things slowly, especially on how to be rational with my own feelings, and not listening to my brain whenever it’s being unnecessarily mean. About interactions though, it’ll probably take me a long time to actually show improvements, but I promise I’m trying my best always ^^! LITERALLY LIKE. it would be such a disappointment tbh. it would kinda stomp on all the careful planning and small details they put into s1 that made it so compelling and rewatchable. watching s1 over and over i’d be like OHHH so that’s why that tiny detail is that way it’s building up to this bigger thing. so if they forego small details mattering this season and all of this just builds up to like a basic murder mystery plot or something it’ll just leave such a sour taste in my mouth. it’s like it would be punishing you for paying attention. but obviously i’m withholding judgement until the season ends, all i’ll say is cheng xiaoshi better not get on that damn boat
