My two cents on this? It's ok to take inspiration from things you like and spin it enough to make it your own.

....but that user must've been taking the mantra "steal like an artist" a little too literally.

...but to critique the document for a moment

I think you need to have screenshots of the deviantart proper so that people can believe the claim that the discord user is saying here.

A small image of the DeviantArt page is not really the best evidence.

Luckily, I had to do the painstaking work to locate the points of interest highlighted in those screenshots.

And now I understand what the document meant by "credit does not equal consent". I don't think Verridith asked any of the people to use their own creations for personal projects.

That's... pretty damn scummy.
