Be’lakor was a great addition to Vermintide 2 , all the reactions he gets out of the characters. But my favourite has to be Markus':

He just straight up sassed the first damned; and that’s why he’s the best.

I forgot that a while ago my clearly Chaos-tainted Patreonsters requested I draw Kruber and Kerillian engaging in heresy.
I fear my soul has been forever corrupted by having to illustrate such foul and blasphemous depravity.

Hunger in the Dark- Victor Saltzpyre Art study on light and shadows of Saltzpyre (babygirl) in the mission brief, liked how this turned out so I'm trying to incorporate it into my regular artstyle (dipping into another fandom real quick for the 5 other vermintide players on tumblr)

Something I appreciate about Vermintide 2 is that in the beginning it very much kept the idea of the first game, being that you're just five random people, more capable than the average peasant but not particularly impressive on a wider scale, who had the chance to step up and took it. Your starting careers are basically that but with a better title. Sure, now you're more impressive, but no more than folk heroes.
And this is a great feeling!! A lot of people love the games for this feeling!! The underdog is amazing!
But what's really cool is that the 4th careers are also canonically the end points of these characters. So you can choose to play the base game careers and be a friendly neighborhood mercenary, or if you pay for the dlcs, you can choose to have the opposite feeling. Your character can grow into something larger and much MUCH more impressive.
A humble mercenary could become a grail knight. A ranger could invent a fucking minigun. A huntress can become a living avatar of the forest. A witch hunter could become a holy, chosen paladin. A fire wizard could fall to the corruption of necromancy. And this is also a really cool feeling!!!!! I fucking love the dichotomy of the small folk heroes they start as and the legendary arcs they go through and I love being able to play both sides of it!
