We alllll know the legend of Miss Katherine, or Katerina if you're a Mikaelson. The year is 1492 in Bulgaria, where the falling star was born. She grew up and gave birth to Nadia out of wedlock, disgraced the Petrova name and was banished to England.

She met Niklaus and Elijah who were ultimately trying to use her blood to break Niklaus' curse so she got the f up outta there son! with the moonstone that Niklaus needs for the curse

Enter Trevor and Rose. Trevor was like we gotta help her Rose was like bish is u blind she belongs to Klaus. Katherine tried to kill herself twice in their house and became a vamp initially bringing Rose and Trevor's demise with her as Rose gave her the blood that made her turn. Niklaus was so pissed that Katherine was no use to him he killed her whole family in cold blood and she is STILL not safe from him.

Fast forward to Stefan and Damon she was a guest in their lovely house she compelled them both, made them love her, gave them blood and got them killed during one of her many many antics to rid herself of Niklaus. Then she ran again after faking her death and made them think she was in a tomb. 

Now she's back again in Mystic Falls  trying to set up everything for Niklaus to break his curse and earn her freedom because ya girl is tired of running in heels. (She also wants Stefan and Elena's perfect little life )

Personality wise: Katherine doesn't fuck around she's the most devious bitch whoever lived and in always nine steps ahead and thinks she's clever asf because she's got an 'A++' in self preservation. she is also hella paranoid and believes her own lies. Catch her impersonating Elena always bc I'm trash. (lmk if your kiddo wants to be a willing / not so willing expert on all things Elena )

in less than 24 hours, the 2009 founder’s ball will officially begin! the admin team has decided to post the pairings, as well as the pairings’ requirements early, so plotting can ensue prior to the beginning of the event. however, event threads are not to officially begin until FRIDAY, JULY 27 at 5:00 PM EST. below, you’ll find a list of all the requirements for the couples, as they are told at the beginning of the ball. please try to have your thread be a priority before other threads, as these are mandatory requirements from the founding families. if you do not finish before the event ends due to running low on time, feel free to finish up on chatzy or discord and post the transcript so we know what happened. **** length does not matter, and shorter things are highly encouraged since the main goal of this should be to have characters converse through these activities. we would rather threads be short and have characters get through these requirements than have threads be long and only get 2-3 notes before the end of the event.

first dance of the night. the first dance of the ball is to be completed in the provided pairs, and from there the attendees are allowed to go about the ball freely. dancing is mandatory.

walk around & take pictures. there will be cameras and photographers around to make sure that a photo is snapped of every pairing, but this can also include selfies. characters must circle the mansion together at least once and they will be watched so as to make sure they are with their chosen partner. feel free to make edits or aesthetics to represent their experience!

a note on pairings--these have all been completely randomized, not hand-picked by the admins. some couples were adjusted after going through the generator, as some members may have been paired with their own characters. these pairings were chosen based on those who are not on hiatus. if your character is not on the list, please let us know so we can add them!

Valeri Kharlamov loved to bake. His sister's favorite was when he made meringues, but his favorite thing to make was blini. However, he loved eating blini even more, so if Boris Mikhailov happened to call while he was cooking and casually mention that his wife Tanya already had a batch of blini on the stove, Valeri would drop everything and run to eat with them

Valeri was extremely protective of his large rookie Alexei Kasatonov. When he realized Kasatonov had no family in Moscow and so was staying in the dorms even on days off, he arranged a rookie-custody agreement with fellow veteran Gennady Tsygankov, insisting that Kasatonov sleep over with each of them on alternating nights
