   “You’d know what got into me if you ever listened,” Stan hissed.  He didn’t have high hopes for this conversation going anywhere, just like with all of the others, but he had nothing better to do than try.

   “You never think of anyone but yourself and your stupid dreams.  You didn’t fucking ask any of us if we even wanted to come out here!”  It had been years since they first moved to Tegridy, and Stan knew this was an utterly pointless discussion to have, but he still felt good, vindicated, when he laid into his dad.

   “I hate it here, and Shelley hates it here, and Mom hates it here!  None of us wanna fucking be on this stupid, shitty farm, especially not with you.”

   Randy telling Stan that he shouldn’t smoke the ‘pussy sticks’ was a surefire way to get him to do exactly that.  Basically, anything the dad found uncool, the son was interested in.

   “They’re not pussy sticks, you just don’t like them because you’re old,” Stan retorted, twirling the vape around his fingers.  Of course, Randy would be more concerned with keeping things classic, being a product of his generation.

   “Plus, you don’t sell any mango-flavored weed, so like, what’s the point?”

it's been years since the list. It was just a silly elementary thing! It means nothing. Well so he thought.

"Have you seen the list? Wendy posted it on her story!"

"The list?"

"Dude send me the list"

"Can't wait to see who made it top 3."

The rumors of 'the list' filled the halls, spreading inside the classrooms and in the bathrooms. News gets out fast with these fast talker teens, so it was no surprise when the ginger found out of this news this morning.

Cartman was the one to discuss it in the group at the bus stop, checking out the list himself, sent from butters who got it from clyde to which clyde got it from craig and craig got it from his boyfriend whom was anxious so he sent it to his lover to talk about.

"the list is.. back?" kyle muttered, turning his head. kenny and eric huddled together to look at the screenshot, gasping to one another. stan was texting wendy about how ridiculous this was, the couple arguing in their messages so stan wasn't much help for kyle.

kyle stood alone, a void surrounding his background. The memories flooded his mind, the memories of insecurities, confusion, anger, and lack of self-esteem burned his into his brain. Suddenly he was 9, taken back by the list stuck on the bathroom wall.

He couldn't move, talk, or think. He was perplexed. It is entirely too young for a boy to be insecure at that age but it hurt him. Ever since that day, he's always been a little insecure about his looks even when the modified version came out for the list. He never looked and just wanted to move on.

kyle felt his head spin, it's just a stupid list! It's just a list. If it's just a list why was he freaking out? Kyle looked down at his hands, they trembled from anxiety, sweat from anxiousness. It was getting to him again. The list. That stupid list.

You got off your phone as you could feel a strong distressed presence just by the side of you, it was kyle. The boy you cherished, loved, and would really do anything for him if he asked or not.

He was panicking, sweating like crazy and shaking. Your eyes widen at the sight.

Shoving your phone into your pocket, you took his arm and walked away from the distracted group. Kyle took realization of his new setting as he was now not with his friends but alone with you.

"kyle are you okay?"

"h-huh?" He questioned. He was confused, his nervous eyes wandered around beginning to feel his esophagus burn. Your brow knit from how worried and confused you were for your boyfriend, you begin to think.

You softly took his hands into yours, holding them separately with your thumb gracing against his knuckles.

"kyle it's okay, calm down I'm right here."

"calm down..?? I don't know.. if.."

"baby—" you pause, hoping that pet name would take his mind off whatever he was thinking. His shocked eyes found their way down at you, suddenly something clicking in that brain of his. You feel yourself grin at this but you quickly fix your face, and interlock your hands with his.

"listen, you are okay. You're fine.." in a gentle tone you reassured, squeezing his hand a little with a small smile of hope. He blinked slowly letting your words sink in, you watched as his demeanor changed. His shoulders went down slowly, his breathing growing calm and collected, and his pupils returning back to its normal size.

he looked at you, baffled but then he shyly smiled. His heart rate only accelerating because of your hands intertwined with his. You returned the shy smile, swaying his hands around slowly.

"you okay now?"

"I think so." You breathed, letting go of his hands to grab ahold of his face.

"never freak like that around me, you kinda scared me." You argued, landing a kiss on his hooked nose. The teen blushed, apologizing shortly after. You landed back on your feet with a sigh.

"well now that's over, what happened ky?" You finally asked, letting go of his hands. He almost didn't want you to let go, reaching out to keep you in his reach but faltered. His fingers curled into his palms, being reminded of why he was even freaking out in the first place.

he looked back at his friend group, eric and kenny still huddled up and stan typing away, furiously. Kyle turned his head back, a defeated sigh escaping through his lips.

you studied his face, taking note of when he turned around, his eyes focused on eric, more specifically his phone. You took a minute before something clicked.

"the list?" You blurted, your eyes met his once again. Kyle paused, his mouth hung open slightly like he was about to say something. He closed it momentarily with just a nod to your question.

you thought again before speaking.

"I heard about it honestly I think they just did that as a joke. I mean, it's kinda silly rating guys and writing it down at our big age you know?" You found yourself snickering at the childish act the girls committed. Kyle seemed to think otherwise, he stayed quiet and rubbed the back of his neck.

your laughing died out shortly, taking notice of his mood. You frowned, taking a closer step toward him. Your hand landed on his chest as your other hand cuffed his face.

"you're worried about that list, huh?" You asked. He hummed in response. His hand landed on yours that was resting on his chest. You awe'd, feeling his face with a sad smile.

"why worry about some list? You're the cutest guy ever you don't need some list to prove that." You explained, leaning in to kiss his cheek softly then land back on the ground. Your hands wrapped around the tall ginger, stuffing your face into his chest.

"why go crazy over what other people think? I love you for you."

just then kyle stood alone again, his heart raced as his head spun but for a moment.. he felt calm. In one specific moment, he felt the warm embrace of someone he loved tell him the words he'd been longing to hear for so long. His freckled face flushed, growing a warm smile. His arms snaked around you, returning the hug.

suddenly he wasn't standing alone anymore.

"thank you."

hi its me the one that sent the long ass post on the new malec fic, and tbh i dont really mind the diff a lot (unlike what it seemed in the post .. uh i read it again and it comes off like i do, it really was just a prefernce like you said) BUT i am just so glad that you were able to write a malec based fic (or will write) after the traumatic TLND experience (which since i was there when it was all happening i would have understood if you would have wanted even a longer break to write them again) , that i would take anything. and tbh i imagine alec as mathew daddario (like with his face) in all alec fics but with his sister's eyes (like have you seen alexandra daddario she is really gorgeous - imagine my surprise when i found out matt is her younger brother) but i totally got sebastian stan as well as a fancast, (but like i imagine him for a older ver of alec u know, anyways)

aside from this, about the hieght diff, and eyes, i think its just because i read them when i was teen, like literally when i was growing up that i just prefer more fics with them but there were sooo less fics with book malec or atleast ones that did get it right that i was sooooo happy when i read your malec fics!! srsly like it was a dream come true considering i have been in this fandom for so long like completely unrelated but the way i silent-screamed (bc otherwise my parents would have thought me crazy 😂) when i found out malec got married in the books ... BUT i have read a lot of show!malec fics, i cannot tell you how obsessed i was and am with matt daddario , like his humor his range amazing all of it but so less fics got them right like none of them like you do, so either works for me as long as you are writing the fics.

that previous post was just me babbling and putting my two cents about the show vs book thing that has been going on in the fandom, but i am just sooooooo excited that you are able to write malec again, i just ugggghhh , i love your writing and i love them (also mavid too) eeeee i am just too excited !🥰 thank you srsly for being willing to write malec again

it's always soooo nice to see people gushing about malec so much (show or book!!) because they are honestly THAT couple and it's what they deserve!!!

i am very excited that i can write malec again too and honestly it's really just about inspiration and finding a story that you really want to share with the rest of the world. There is a LOT of work to be done in terms of characterisations but i am looking forward to it. i think we might get started in august so fingers crossed x

The Marshes had always been fairly well-off, between Randy’s career as a geologist, then Tegridy Farm’s success.  There had been a time when the farm struggled a little, but his dad bolstered that by… being Lorde apparently.  On the whole, though, it left Stan in a pretty good position to pay for his friends when they went out.  But the Harrisons seemed well-off, too—those families who were really serious about church stuff usually were—God provided, or whatever.  So, of course, Gary, probably with plenty of his own money, wouldn’t be much swayed by a financial incentive.

The warm hand on Stan’s arm left him much uplifted, however, and he smiled fondly at Gary.  “Well… yeah, I do want to,” he confessed, less for the nachos themselves and more for the social experience of getting them with someone.  He didn’t know why it was like pulling teeth to get him to make a concrete decision, but maybe it was because he had been blindly following Cartman and Kyle around for so many years, caught up in the whirlwind of whatever they were doing.  Every time he tried to stake out on his own, it tended not to go well, and he ended up following them around again.  It was easier than figuring out what he really wanted, just like his mother had told him.  He understood it now.

He couldn’t blame everything on everyone else, and he should have been making better decisions forever ago, but he was… working on it.  And it felt good to say, This is what I want, and this is what we’re doing.

He twisted a hematite ring around his finger.  It was an empath ring that Henrietta had given him to ward off spirits, and it looked good with black.  “I’m glad, too,” he said, wishing he’d had on his pale foundation to obscure the color in his cheeks.  Since he started spending more time outside (not by his own choice, mind), it started looking stupid on him and took too much extra effort to get it to look seamless, so he had given up.

He opened his mouth to ask Gary where he wanted nachos from before remembering it was his own idea.  “How about Candela’s?” he said, one of the more ‘authentic’ places in town, with the usual heavy air-quotations that needed to accompany Americans enjoying anything ‘authentic.’  “They’ve got more than nachos if you’re in the mood for something else.  Who knows—by the time, we sit down, I’ll probably want something different, too.”

        Gary's opinion on the matter honestly wasn't swayed much, if at all, by Stan offering to pay if they got nachos. While he did certainly appreciate Stan deciding he'd pay, he also wasn't really the type of person to be swayed when he got things for free or just without any cost to himself. He was pretty often the sort of person to pay for himself and others, even strangers, after all.

        “ I'm afraid not. ” He answers honestly but he's still giving a light smile. He doesn't mean it in a matter that he doesn't want to get some or doesn't care to, even if Stan pays. “ But I appreciate the offer, and don't mind if you'd like to pay. ”

He was perfectly fine with getting some, paying for himself or not. It really was just a matter of him not having a strong opinion... but maybe he should have said it would have changed his opinion. He wasn't sure if Stan would take his continued indifference or lack of strong opinion negatively. Gary had noticed that he had seemed to do so previously. With how Stan looked away when he'd first said it.

        “ Stan. ” He says the other's name, seemingly sympathetically, after a moment as he didn't wish to let him take his indifference as defeat. He can tell Stan is trying to be decent to him, nice to him. Especially with how things had gone between them before. But, really, there was no need to try and appeal to him all that much.

“ I really don't mind. I'd like to if you want to. ” He placed a hand on Stan's arm for a moment, as if it were to somehow show he was being genuine. “ I'm just happy to hang out with you again... so, either way, I'm fine with it. ”

   God, fuck, xe was so drunk.  It was almost comical how drunk xe was.  When you were drinking, you were often also distracting yourself with other shit, so it was easy to forget how far gone you were.  Now that the bottle had been removed from xis hands, one of the only things xe could think about was—holy goddamn mother of fucking Jesus Christ, xe was so drunk.  Xe might have laughed about it if xe could manage much more than groaning.

   Kyle’s bathroom was so bright, the ceiling so high, Stan noted as xe tipped xis head back against the cool porcelain.  Xe didn’t want to be upright anymore, wanted to lie down and close xis eyes.  Close xis eyes… xe could settle for the latter, at least, block out the bright white lights above the mirror.  It was safe; xe already threw up a whole mountain of shit.

   It didn’t feel like xe’d been out long at all before xe was being yanked over xis own knees, spewing another orange gush of barely digested food.  Xe’d been fed something to absorb the alcohol in xis system, an effort to get xim sobered up more quickly before he got caught, before Kyle got caught as xis accomplice, water and food.  Xe sort of forgot that this was liable to happen.

   Better out than in, though, right?  After a couple more coughs and sputters, a few ragged, burning gasps, xe found that xe was feeling a lot better.  Xe still wanted to lie down on the floor and slid off the toilet, catching ximself on xis hands and knees—right in the splashes of puke that hadn’t been caught by Kyle’s arm.  Oh… fuck… xe couldn’t lie down here.  At least, xis dark hair fell in curtains over xis cheeks, shield xis eyes from some of the light.  A round drop of saliva smacked wetly against the bathroom tile between xis hands.

   Stan!  That was still xim.  Xe hadn’t figured out what to do about the name yet, about a lot of things, but those were decisions for sober Stan, or old whats-xis-name.  The voice came to xim through a dull buzz in xis ears, and xe tilted his head toward that direction.

   “Kyle,” xe quietly answered it with a warm, lazy smile.  Fuck, Stan loved Kyle so much, had always loved him since they were kids.  Xe was working on getting rid of Wendy so xe could be with just Kyle, but that was slow-going.  Wendy didn’t want to be broken up with, and she had a knack for getting her way, especially with xim, it seemed.  But Stan didn’t like her anymore and had never stopped liking Kyle, not even once.

   Slowly, the neurons in xis brain connected just enough for xim to process that Kyle was angry with xim, angry and shaking out his vomity arm.  He looked so cute like that, but Stan frowned because xe had fucked up.  “M’sorry,” xe mumbled.  Xe lifted xis hand and smacked down on the floor a few extra inches away from xim.  Xe’d make it to Kyle, xe’d help, xe’d clean up after ximself, but it might take xim a while.  Kyle needed xim, though, and Stan was sure working on it.  “I thought I… I thought I was… I thought I… mm, done…”

The gentle whoosh of running water splashing against the cool enamel of the sink all but deafened Kyle to the world outside of his peripheral; and even the space just outside his very narrow line of sight felt hazy to him, at best. The sound filled and crashed against his eardrums as tension crawled up his neck and seized the back of his skull with a sharp twinge. A headache brought on by nerves and anxiety threatened him with incapacitation. Which only served to frustrate his hurried movements even further. 

Panic squeezed its tight fist around his heart, forcing his blood to pump faster and harder. His hands flitted nervously from the sink, to Stan's head, to the back of his own neck, to Stan's hair again to readjust his head, and finally back to the sink as he scrambled for a towel or cloth—dirty, clean, anything—to sop up the pale yellow bile leaking from the corner of his semi-conscious best friend's open mouth. He had propped the shorter man up on the toilet in a rush after hauling his body through the house and up the stairs; knowing, at the very least, he had to make sure Stan remained mostly upright—in case any secondary round of rebuff gushed forth. Stan wouldn't choke to death on his own poor decisions. Not on Kyle's watch.

A clipped sputter caught Kyle's attention; his red curls flourished as his head whipped in Stan's direction. His hair settled over his face with a soft bounce and he quickly pushed the front locks out of his face. Not the time for regretting the attempt to grow his hair out. The round of the other boy's head had settled against the toilet tank's lid. Shit. Stan choked again. Shit. Kyle finally moved; he hadn't even realized the shock and fear had triggered a freeze response. He twisted his left fist in the front of Stan's shirt and yanked his torso forward, snapping Stan's head in the same direction so the vomit sliding down his windpipe would be able to safely exit his esophagus instead. In the same action with his right hand, Kyle slammed his palm against the stainless steel knob, cutting the faucet off just as the surface tension of the water broke and flooded the countertop. 

Once the room filled with silence in the absence of the overflowing, cacophonous sink, his heart rate began to scale down rapidly and he breathed a heavy fucking sigh of relief. Warmth and wetness glissaded down his left forearm. Putrid, acidic vapors rose to burn his nostrils and panic immediately took him again. His slathered arm dripped with the frothy, jaundiced ex-contents of Stan's gut.

He screamed in disgust, "Stan!!"

Stray kids are humans like me and u first of all. They can do mistakes and only a fool will expect them to be perfect just becuz they are kpop idols n are expected to be perfect. Stray kids since debut have experience lots of hates and people have called them racist since their debut becuz a stylist styled Chan's hair with thread locks and show's MC asked them to dance in curry song . Also after God's menu we had alot things goin on like a lyrics of a 13 yr old Han with the use of the word n**** and hyunjin bullying issue which turned out to be an argument with his classmates not bullying. Tbh their past action did hurt but imma not unstan them DYK why? Cuz from my experience with these 8 Bois I have learned that they have educated themselves through past traumas and problems. Also idk if stays knows about this but Han had already told us about " When he was a young, spoiled teen he used to write songs/lyrics with abusive words that hurt alot of people", FYI he said this 2 years ago before his issue poped up on twitter at the starting of the year.
