My previous solar return ascendant in 2021 was in Libra, and when the sun made a conjunction with my solar return Venus, I developed a new long-term crush that inspired me to pursue a new passion. It can be fun to make a note of these dates every year to see what comes up.

Lunar Taurus Eclipse

Hey yall! I decided to start doing important transits announcements. As you know and probably been feeling is the upcoming lunar Eclipse. Now mind we still feeling the effects from the Solar eclipse in Libra

What is in an eclipse?

-It’s when the celestial bodies, the Sun and Moon light is blocked for a short period of time.

How long do they last?

- the actual eclipse don’t last long but the energy of the eclipse last for 6 about months.

What do they mean spiritually and astrologically?

-Many astrologers and spiritualist alike believe eclipse are signatures of life changing events. Whether it’s the ending of a cycle or the beginning of a new one.

This is the last Taurus eclipse cycle that we’ll have for a while. This Taurus eclipse cycle started back November 2021 so check back on the events in your life during that time.

Boy Harsher + Twin Tribes @ Music Hall Of Williamsburg; April 3rd, 2022.

October 2021 would have been one of the busiest months of going to shows ever. The problem was that Ministry postponed their “Industrial” Strength Tour for the third time, and I was too late in getting tickets for Boy Harsher’s Halloween show. It only left me with the Uniform show at Saint Vitus with Body Void and Portrayal Of Guilt on the ticket. It took me six years to cross off seeing Uniform in full off my most-wanted list. Shortly after, Boy Harsher announced new dates to coincide with the release of their new short film The Runner featuring everyone’s favorite Kris Esfandiari (King Woman, Sugar High, NGHTCRWLR, Miserable). Time for redemption.

I snatched up tickets right away and feverishly waited for January 29th. Then a slight hitch in plans: the omicron strain took over and infections went wild once again causing Boy Harsher to move their dates up to April 3rd. That’s too bad. The January date was the sweet spot to have a wintry day out in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the preferred weather to enjoy darkwave and synthwave as it was always intended to be. But I’ll take a postponement over a cancellation any day. It’s better to have an experience than none at all.

I learned that it would be a two-hour train ride home from Penn Station to Deer Park. I wouldn’t have the time as I had work early the next day, so instead, I drove to the Babylon station as the train home would make it’s final stop with no transfer. One hour later of cloudy grayscale skies and nothing-special transit later, I arrive at Penn Station. From there, I took the 1 / 2 / 3 Express and finally transferred to the L line to Wythe Av. and North 7th Street. A few blocks away and here I am at The Music Hall Of Williamsburg, my first-ever visit there.

The venue’s site said “doors open at 7PM” but their app- said “8PM”. Fearing arriving late, I hoped for eight. I did get there at 7:30PM and asked the strongarm at the door checking i.d. when they did open. “Doors opened at 7PM but you came just in time. Just in time” as he said with confidence. Judging by his relaxed demeanor, I took his word for it and he was right. Once I walked in, there were a few spots right at the front rail ready for the taking, and I did. Mid-right in front of the speakers. The night was already off to an adrenaline-pumping start. Who is that?! Andi Harriman was dee-jaying on the wheels of steel spinning all sorts of seriously intense and exhilarent synthwave. I never heard anything like it. She’s reached far for some synthwave sounds I never heard of; further than I’ve reached so far because I’m somewhat freshly new to it. I was hooked on what she played and wanted to find what her setlist was, if any.

Twin Tribes opened up for this short Sunday night roster. Had my original date’s tickets transferred to the Friday show, I would’ve ended up seeing Aurat open instead. How amazing would that have been?! But Twin Tribes was an act I wasn’t familiar with but their sound was. I had some experience listening to goth rock in the vein of Adrenochrome, Otzi, and Kurraka, but the Twin Tribes duo took the route of Eighties goth rock built on melodic guitars, hot synthesizers, frighteningly-good vocals and tense upbeat energy. They were a great compliment on a bill that catered to the all-things-industrial and goth subculture, which to me was the culture in Greenpoint.

After Twin Tribes departed for the night, we were once again treated to Andi Harriman’s so-fucking-good dee-jay set. By then the crowd started to pack in tightly on all sides, the balcony, and in general admission. I was still up front and there wasn’t much open space for me to look around to see who was wearing what. I will say that one of the Music Hall crew sported an Aphex Twin hoodie and another one repped Soundgarden, which were great. I look to my left and someone was proudly wearing his FKA Twigs tee. I came in wearing my Rough Trade NYC shirt with my beige hoodie being it was in the nippy high 40’s. That’s your obligatory Ω+ live-show fashion round-up as always.

Twenty minutes of painful waiting, Augustus Muller finally takes the stage. His other half Jae Matthews joins him and Boy Harsher is all ready to go for their set. The fanfare all around the music hall were loud and going wild. Here’s a synthwave duo that’s been currently heralded as one of the flagship outfits of the genre with almost no detractors to be found. They opened up their set with “The Ride Home” and segued into “Give Me A Reason”, a leading track from their new album and motion picture soundtrack The Runner that’s been heavily exposed. They had plenty of cards up their sleeve and reached back to their Yr Body Is Nothing era with “Morphine”. I was still only mere inches from The Music Hall’s- system so I could hear every note thump, vibration, and punch through the speakers as any synthwave / EBM artist should. Right after they finished their cover of Chris Isaac’s “Wicked Game” did they unleash the highly-exhilarating and manic “Come Closer” and made the audience get into a seriously rabid frenzy.

Muller and Matthews controlled the show when they brought it down to a suspenseful mood with The Runner‘s opening track “Tower” and continued on with more wavy, lucid sounds in “Escape” and “Country Girl”. The duo kept going into their Carefularsenal with “Tears” and “LA”; the former which delivered such elasticity and one of the main reasons why Boy Harsher’s fanfare has always been on fire, as they always found and utilized classic synthpop and synthwave elements to everyone’s liking. All the while Jae Matthews exuded a constant sensuality with not only her on-stage presence but also her sultry vocals that paired with their always-sweltering sounds. Augustus Muller always kept to himself behind the keyboards and hitting the beats new-wave style. Forty-five minutes later, Boy Harsher called it night. Or did they?

The Music Hall didn’t switch on their overheads when they both left the stage. That was an easy tell for at least an encore and they delivered on that. “Autonomy” was the final track from The Runner they played and they brought out guest vocalist Cooper B. Handy for it. It was the first album of theirs to feature guest vocalists entirely other than Jae Matthews (the other “Machina” featured BOAN and Mariana Saldana but they weren’t present). There’s always a sense of love and this cute little admiration of their fellow artists and friends when they feature them on-stage, in their videos, projects, and even on their social media posts, as if they’re the special highlight of the day. After “Autonomy was over, Cooper waves good-bye to the crowd. Boy Harsher retires the night and the show’s over. Or was it?

Boy Harsher walked off and hid backstage like they did before. The overheads once again didn’t turn on. You could hear the audience now begging for that one song. That one song. The one that put the duo on the map and won them their recognition. Five more minutes later, they returned on-stage and gave them what the audience so badly wanted: “Pain”. It was the only way to cap off a three-night stay in The Music Hall- and we wouldn’t have let them leave New York City without playing it. No fucking way.

The overheads finally turned on and we all exited out. I brought a Benjamin with me in the event that Jae and Augustus manned the merch- tables. They didn’t. I took a small glimpse of what tapes and shirts they were selling, but time was tight in catching the train back home. I didn’t want to chance it and let it be, but not before I saw a short, pale, curly-haired dominatrix-type making her way to the bar in leather gloves, boots, fish nets, and a tight shiny PVC unitard that hiked up her ass and disappeared. Comes with the industrial / synthwave territory.

It was an astonishing night and I expected it to turn out that way. Boy Harsher and Twin Tribes put on an amazing show and was worth the wait. I left The Music Hall Of Williamsburg with my quotient up and completed a must-do rite of passage. I scrambled through the quiet well-lit streets long enough to get lost (as expected) and took the L and 1 / 2 / 3 line back to Penn Station where I missed the 12:15AM train by three minutes. The painstaking one-hour wait for the 1:15AM Babylon ride was spent getting a four-dollar Toblerone and dodging the panhandlers who scoped out the slightest eye-contact. I finally hop on heading east, arriving at Jamaica to transfer to the line home on a double-decker car, pondering how I would deal with only six hours of sleep before the next day’s shift at work.

Natal moon opp trans mars: short fuse. Smallest things may be setting his temper off

Natal mercury trine trans mars: not beating around the bush. Being a little too direct in his speech

So honestly, if he is dating around, it doesn’t sound like anything will be long-lasting right now. It sounds like Namjoon is too much in the throes of his Saturn return and questioning everyone and everything around him (that’s what Saturn wants!! Weed out the bad people in his life) to make lasting connections at the moment. So if he did get a hickey, hey let him blow a load for now. Sounds like the poor guy needs a stress reliever with all the havoc saturn is wrecking.

But I do think it’s from CrossFit though. Remember when he was in his 2021(?) Height of the Pandemic/Quarantine/Life Goes On couple ring era? He didn’t have a hickey that entire time. I don’t think he would allow a random one-night stand to give him a hickey.

SUN/MOON MIDPOINT & MEAGAN GOOD

Any soul that is born and inhabits a body does so to learn lessons. We can see these lessons in a horoscope. Meagan Good is a lovely actress with an impressive resume. However, her relationship life has aways been way less fulfilling than her career.

If Venus has hard aspcts from outer planets, or the ruler of or planet in the 7th has hard aspects from Mars or an outer planet, or if Mars or an outer planet are at one's Sun/Moon midpoint, relationships will be one of the ways that a person learns about themselves. Meagan's 7th House ruler, Neptune, squares Venus. Too much idealism in relationships will cause problems in relationships that teach her lessons she couldn't learn otherwise. Punctuating it mightily is Saturn at her Sun/Moon midpoint!!!!! I should add that even when Sun/Moon is not occupied natally, hard transits and arcs to it are often just like when Venus receives a conjunction, square, or opposition from Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, or Mars.

In 2011, Meagan started dating Devon Franklin. He was a Columbia Pictures Exec and a preacher. You can see in the measurements listing that her 2011 started with both Jupiter and Pluto transiting Sun/Moon. They were joined in 2012 by Uranus and Meagan and Franklin were married in 2012. They divorced in December, 2021.

Meagan's next relationship was with actor, Jonathan Majors in early 2023 with transiting Jupiter at her Sun/Moon. Today, Majors was convicted of assaulting his former girlfriend!!!!!

Ya think she has some lessons to learn about what goes through her head when choosing a partner for a relationship?!

She has Venus in Virgo. Cerebral matters can take things over when it comes to romance and romantic feelings. Understanding emotions often displaces feeling them. Venus here has the ability to express emotion without feeling it. As an actress she can be very good at this.

London, San Marino, Toronto - October 2023

Just back from fabulous art viewing experiences abroad and in Toronto. Stopovers included: Frieze London, Frieze Masters and the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair in London as well as the Philip Guston exhibit at the Tate Modern; La Galleria Nazionale in the Republic of San Marino; and Art Toronto in Hogtown. The whole, for the most part, was enjoyed in the context of a three week stay in Italy where the hilltop medieval village of Petritoli, located in Le Marche, served as home base, and offered spectacular vistas of land, sea and mountains, all longstanding muses throughout history. Without looking too hard, traces of Ellsworth Kelly’s curves, Jasper Johns’ crosshatches and Frank Stella’s grids could all be seen in the roofscapes and landscapes, providing a breathtaking backdrop to daily activities, whether art related or other.

London

The transition from bucolic and sunny Petritoli to chaotic and rainy London was drastic but exhilarating. Frieze Week in mid-October is the global launching pad for the all-important fall season in the art world. With summer days in the rear-view mirror, an intense focus radiated from the London art scene with the convergence of exhibit openings, important contemporary and modern auctions, and preeminent art fairs. While the weightiness of a challenged economy and ongoing wars was perhaps most evident in the squishy auction results, elsewhere, the mood and excitement were upbeat as fair venues and exhibits were flooded by art fans and aficionados.

Frieze London and Frieze Masters art fairs ran concurrently under the stars, so to speak, in separate tents in the wonderful greenspace of Regent’s Park. Frieze London’s defining focus is on living artists and contemporary art. This year’s edition, the 20th, included over 160 participating galleries with a strong contingent of 40 or so international exhibitors. Noteworthy was the caliber of presenting galleries and works on display. While remaining very faithful to the contemporary focus, large well-established mega galleries were ever so present along with their roster of anointed stars, perhaps at the expense of the more experimental flair historically more synonymous with Frieze. A walking distance away through a maze of outdoor sculptures, Frieze Masters hosted over 130 galleries that showcased an eclectic mix of art works ranging from archaeological finds dating to thousands of years BC to 20th century masterpieces. Fair highlights included:  Tabboo!’s “Desert Moon”, 2021, acrylic on canvas (60 x 50 in.); Simone Leigh’s “Untitled”, 2022, stoneware, 25.75 x 11.75 x 16.5 in.); and Anna Mark’s “R 1002”, 1968, synthetic resin, sand, pigment on canvas, mounted on wooden frame (20 x 20.25 in.).

Elsewhere in the city at Somerset House, the 11th edition of 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair was in full swing with a line-up of over 60 galleries showcasing more than 170 artists. There, the excitement of discovery and seeing new things being done by emerging talents was palpable. Highlights included: Godwin Champs Namuyimba’s “Fathering spirit”, 2023, acrylic on canvas (90.5 x 78.75 in.); Emmie Nume’s “When we use to”, 2021, mixed media on paper (55.5 x 41.75 in.); and a pair of works by Theresa-Anne Mackintosh, “Walking with my body conscious” and “Comfortably dazed”, 2023, oil and acrylic on canvas (each, 34.25 x 39.5 in.).

Also in London, a captivating Philip Guston retrospective was being held at the Tate Modern. Spanning a 50-year career, the comprehensive survey included everything from the artist’s more classical early works to pieces depicting his fiery brand of abstraction and, most prominently, paintings and drawings featuring his iconic comic-like figures and imagery that captured the anxious and turbulent world around him. The whole made for an intense and sometimes unsettling experience. While the museum walls were bursting with large scale masterworks that chronicled the Guston story, it was a small self-portrait that was most memorable - “Untitled”, 1968, acrylic on board. Barely noticeable behind the artist’s gaze painted in the foreground were the remnants of an earlier work of a hooded figure. The effect hauntingly captured Guston’s lifelong nightmarish preoccupation with racism.

San Marino

The next art stop was an unplanned pleasant surprise that surfaced during a day trip to San Marino. Located on the northeastern side of the Apennine Mountains and surrounded by Italy, San Marino is the fifth smallest country in the world, and it boasts a historic center high up on Monte Titano at approximately 2500 feet above sea level that features three medieval towers dating back to the 11th century. There was almost a Vegas-like surrealness to the place with throngs of tourists making the pilgrimage to take in the spectacular views and medieval setting. Nestled in one of the few quiet corners of the historic city and a bit isolated from the many churches, palazzos and eateries was La Galleria Nazionale di San Marino, the country’s center of modern and contemporary art.Housed in the renovated Logge dei Volontari, the museum is dedicated to showcasing its collection of post war art which was amassed from international art biennials held in San Marino beginning in the mid-50s. It was totally surprising to come across fantastic works by lesser-known American artists, including: James Brown’s “Opera Contro Natura”, 2003, mixed media and collage on folded linen (59 x 98.75 in.); and David Row’s “B.N.I.”, 1992, oil on canvas (in three parts, overall, 66 x 85.75 in.).

Toronto

Returning back from the old world with only one viewing day left at Art Toronto, the opportunity was seized to cap off the art adventure with a visit to Canada’s premiere contemporary and modern art fair. While the corridors were filled with rumblings of challenging times, the viewing experience was fantastic. Over 100 galleries took to the floor of the Toronto Metro Convention Center and offered up works from over 1000 artists. As a bonus, the launching of Jack Bush’s catalogue raisonné drew out many of his works that were scattered throughout the fair, including two favorites: “Untitled”, 1962, gouache on paper (35.25 x 23 in.); and “Red, Orange, Green”, 1965, serigraph, edition 67 of 100 (25.5 x 20 in.). Other fair highlights included: Emma Kohlmann’s “Tulip”, 2023, oil on linen with cherry frame (14.25 x 12.25 x 1.25); Catherine Desroches’ “Déliason du corps contre le ciel”, 2023, bronze, pine, plywood, lost wax casting dust, foundry kiln ashes, graphite powder, charcoal on newsprint and on panel (84 x 49 in.); Marcel Barbeau’s “Iris”, 1962, acrylic on canvas (76.4 x 51.2 in.); and Jean-Paul Riopelle’s “Sans titre (1958.006P)”, 1958, oil on paper (25.5 x 19.75 in.).

Meanwhile, the sports scene in North America was frenetic with activity as all major sports leagues were in some state of play. In Dinoland, emotions were cautiously optimistic following a perfect pre-season and a home opener win. After that celebratory moment, however, reality set in for rookie Head Coach Darko Rajaković. Three losses later, the new system was being questioned, and all the ghosts of last year’s disappointing season were surfacing. A win against a star-laden Bucks team provided some glimmer of hope, but that too was soon quashed with a thumping courtesy of ex-Dino Head Honcho Nick Nurse and his 76ers. Can a Fredless team be so different? It’s got to be the system. It’s early, I know, but it doesn’t bode well. Up next, Wemby-mania in the Lone Star State. Ugh.

starting with ancient dreams in a modern land, obviously the statement piece of the first half of the album since it is the album name. such a savvy intro, you know hot people are attracted to this kind of instrumental. she knows what she was doing naming the album after this song. it just screams confidence, independence and self love all laced with the sort of inquisitive energy to make you want to feel how she does (i do the same thing, thats why i know this song already). i love the dreamy contrast of the bridge

Ok, so Venus retrograde isn’t completely rare but it happens every 18ish months and the main goal is to REVIEW YOUR RELATIONSHIPS. It’s a time for PAUSE, REFLECT, and REVIEW. This retrograde will be in Capricorn. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn. The Planet of restrictions, lessons, and KARMA.

Venus will preshadow starting December 1-18th, 2021, go retrograde in Capricorn on Dec 19th, 2021 at 26°- Jan 30th, 2021, and post shadow till March 6th, 2021.

3. DO NOT PLAN ANY WEDDINGS DURING THIS TIME. If you’re scheduled to be married during the dates of this retrograde and full on trust in the universe and it’s energy, reschedule it. If you still want to continue a wedding during this time, be prepared for some disasters. I would fully expect the relationship with your partner to come to light and some situations may make you want to rethink your marriage.

What Venus in Capricorn Retrograde can manifest in relationships:

-If either you or your partner have any skeletons in the closet, it will be revealed during this time. This is where past karma comes in to play. If you haven’t been entirely truthful, hidden things, kept demons inside, have been cheating, light will be shined upon it. Those shocking revelations could put an upheaval on your relationship and cause one another to reconsider.

-Arguments and even breakups. If the Universe knows that your current relationship is not in align with your life plan and destiny, Venus Rx will surely expose that for you. Arising arguments and unsatisfactory situations will occur more frequently. However, for some (depending on what house Venus will be retrograding in and where Taurus Uranus rx is transiting in your chart) there could be arguments and breakups BUT reconciliations could happen also when Cap Venus rx trines with Taurus Uranus. Uranus is the Planet of Chaos and surprising energy. So, don’t be surprised if Uranus aids in reconciliation around the end of Venus retrograde (Jan 30th, 2022).

Capricorn Venus Rx in the houses:

If you have Capricorn 1H (House of Aries/Mars; Ego/Self): When Cap Venus Rx transits 1st house, the energy will be heavy and make you question what you want to be like in a relationship. How do you see yourself? How do you feel about commitment? You may have been a player most of your life and have some realizations that you don’t want to be that way anymore. Realizing it is a waste of time and energy and you may want to change that about yourself.

If you have Capricorn 2H (House of Taurus/Venus; Income/Self Worth): When Cap Venus Rx transits your 2nd house, expect yourself to question your security and stability. Save money during this time and avoid unnecessary purchases. The purchases you make may become regrettable. You may end up changing your mind about a few things you thought you wanted out of a relationship. If you’re a parent, your relationship with your children will be in focus. Building the relationship during this period and getting to know your individual child’s needs will be priority.

If you have Capricorn 6H (House of Virgo/Mercury; routines/health/workplace): If Cap Venus Rx is transiting your 6th house, unsatisfactory attributes to your relationships will be up for question. Start a new exercise routine during this time to help focus on better health. If any love interests peak out during this time in the workplace, AVOID THEM. Earth Sign Retrograde Season Power of 2022

In order to better understand this year's transits, mixed with the retrograde cycles I'm writing about here, read my other posts about 2022 Astrological Dynamics, which you can find here and here. These transits all tie in together and will give you a complete background on what you can expect in the coming months and what you should be taking out of current experiences to enrich your life.

The interesting thing about this year's retrogrades is that almost all of them involve Earth signs in some form. Which means that we will be experiencing both an individual and a collective overhaul of all Earth Sign areas, which have to do with grounding, routine, stability, practicality but also connection to nature, planning, rhythms of life, the material side of things. What is especially powerful about this retrograde season is that literally all Earth Signs get addressed in some form through a retrograde, which means this transit is going to have an influence on all the houses placed in Earth Signs in your chart. Bonus points for you if you have Natal Planets in Earth Signs, this year will help you re-organise your life on a very deep level.

The effects of these retrogrades started to be felt already in December 2021 with Venus retrograde, and will be lingering until January 2023 when Mars in Taurus goes out of retrograde, ending this particular cycle of energy restructuring. Rising Sign and Transit Date breakdown below.

Depending on the element of your Rising Sign, different houses in your chart will be impacted by this transit.

For Air Risings (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) the retrogrades are happening in Moksha Houses 4, 8 and 12. Changing your practical habits will help you develop your spirituality, regain emotional peace and clarity, tap into your gifts, reconnect to your authentic emotional space, realign with your correct path in life. This is the energy of changing your practical routine to improve your emotional well being, for example through spiritual practice, yoga, breathwork etc. I would say this retrograde will benefit Air Risings the most, as any subconscious reprogramming and shadow work you do now will pay off big time when the retrogrades are over. There is very little to lose and everything to gain for these risings from any changes that you make during that time, due to the ephemeral nature of Moksha houses. Any emotional ups and downs that you experience will be worth it, as they will bring you to a place where you are more conscious of what actions serve your emotional well-being in the first place.

For Earth Risings (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) the retrogrades are happening in Dharma Houses 1, 5 and 9. This may be a heavy time for you, as Dharma Houses are action oriented and have very much an immediate influence on your physical life. You may be the ones with the most obstacles related to progressing in your life, feeling like you struggle to get on track. That is meant to serve you as a tool to re-evaluate the kind of actions that you have been taking. This is a very important time for you, when you should seriously reconsider the effect of your own impulsive actions on what you are building in your life as a result of these on the spot-decisions. If you have been going on auto-pilot, you will be forced to switch gears now, as old methods of powering through will not be working anymore. That is meant to align you with actions that are more in tune with your life path. If you are being pro-active, don't be impulsive about it and don't rush or force things.

For Fire Risings (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) the retrogrades are happening in Artha Houses 2, 6 and 10. This is the time to calmly reflect on your goals and routines. Don't get bogged down if you run into a lot of practical problems right now, it is part of the deal with retrogrades, but the point of them is to get it solved. Perhaps you discover something bigger that you need to tend to, hiding behind a small problem, that will substantially improve your life long term. Don't get upset about these situations coming up and see them as opportunities to ground yourself even more in life. These problems will eventually end, and you will get the satisfaction of a clean slate. Patience is strongly advised for you now.

For Water Risings (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) the retrogrades are happening in Kama Houses 3, 7 and 11. You will be re-discovering now how your relationships affect your stability. Are the people you are investing in worth being in your life? Are they a source of support and security, pointing you towards the right avenues in life, encouraging the right changes and being honest about what would work for you? Or do you stick to easy, superficial, pleasurable social interactions? Your mental and social involvements, the time you spend investing into the intellectual structures you build is under scrutiny, as people who detract you from your path may fall away, while new connections or those from the past may reappear. Take your time thinking through any situations that appear on your path, don't rush into any social commitments, think about who will really contribute to your life positively long-term.

Planets Involved in this Retrograde Season:

Venus Retrograde in Capricorn December 2021 - January 2022 was a time of taking a first glance at the stability of your values. Might have given you a fulfilment of some past social wishes, a financial re-arrangement that is ultimately putting you on the right path, although it might have been temporarily unstable when Venus retrogressed back into Sagittarius. By now, you should see the results of what that time has brought you from a social standpoint.

Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn January - February 2022 was about implementing solid, practical changes in the area Capricorn rules in your chart due to Saturn's presence. There was a finality to this retrograde, as it closed many doors on the bad behaviours we were attached to in the past, as continuing any of those past this point would prove to be very painful.

Mercury Retrograde in Taurus May - June 2022 is the first stage of removing our inflexibility and inhibitions, that will be completed with Mars Retrograde later. At this stage, we are conceptualising of what we should change in order to improve our emotional well being, and although we may not act on everything we want to do straight away, we get a better understanding of it.

Saturn Retrograde in Capricorn June 2022 - October 2022 I elaborated on this transit in great detail in the two other transit posts I mentioned above. This is the final stage of building extremely solid, practical structures in your life. Don't overlook the matters of this house during this retrograde, as it is your last chance at fixing anything that you don't like in your life pertaining to these matters.

Mercury Retrograde in Virgo September - October 2022 is an extremely powerful time, as Mercury is exalted in Virgo and the retrograde makes it even stronger. There will be a very intense illumination of the thought process, and you may come to a deep understanding of things that have been mentally puzzling for a long time, due to increased mental clarity. Spontaneous insight may come out of nowhere and change how you operate seemingly overnight, but in fact it was a long time coming.

Mars Retrograde in Taurus October 2022 - January 2023 will remove the last of our resistance and stubbornness in dealing with moving forward. Taurus is known for its firmness, but under this retrograde with an additional influence of Mars, it will be forced to relent. There is a very strong spiritual realism energy to this transit, as it will show us where we are justified in staying in our position and where we should concede for our own good.

Contrary to popular belief, retrogrades are heavy in organised energy, especially the ones we are experiencing right now in Earth Signs. So any hiccups you encounter during this time are simply meant to make sure you end up in the right place. This is not the time to rush with physical action, but if you make deliberate, conscious practical changes, taking initiative will be supported, especially concerning the fulfilment of desires you had on your mind for quite some time and never managed to ground into physical reality. You may accomplish many things during this time, that you felt have been denied to you in the past due to material constraints. Anything substantial that is meant to be yours right now will fall into your life over this time, and it is up to you to try again and again and disperse any lingering confusion, until you make sure you can use these resources well. Take this time as a sign to lay the groundwork in preparation for 2023, which will in turn be heavy in Fire Sign retrogrades, demanding more on the spot decisions.
