I enjoy that they tried to add that gut wrenching romantic montage of all of symbrocks moments at the end of the film but I couldn’t take it seriously with that awful cheers to the memories tiktok music

Venom 3 spoilers:

I don't know why everyone seems so upset, did no one wait to see the end credits?

also note how in the first movie Venom says "goodbye Eddie" before inexplicably surviving the rocket explosion and in this one he says "goodbye for now"

he will come back to him like he did the first time. and I have a feeling Eddie knows that deep down too, that's why he's not too broken over it

and they can move back to their apartment and get their chickens back and the government will be off their backs because they all think Venom is gone

I know you all hate the ending with memories playing and all, but as a person, who doesn't listen to the Radio or Maroon 5, and doesn't have TikTok, let me tell you that I did not recognize that 5 yo pop song immediately as it started playing. I did, however, recognize the pachelbel canon, which it samples.

So for a hot second, I thought they were playing a remix of the pachelbel canon while Eddie was walking down the figuratively aisle.

Y’know what my absolute favorite part of Venom 3 was? Beyond the banger soundtrack, hilarious fights, heartfelt dances, and the fact that Eddie is hungover and shoeless the whole time?

It fucking ends.

For years, so many franchises have cheapened sacrifices and brung characters back from impossible situations and that's not something I really have a problem with. I'm in the Fast and The Furious fandom for godsakes.

But it's honestly a breath of fresh air to leave a movie and know that a storyline is over.

Yes they set the stage for future movies in the same franchise and yes in a future movie they might change things and bring people back.

But for right now? It's done.

For the first time in what feels like decades, a trilogy that was meant to be a trilogy is done. It's just so nice.

Ok so the running gag of Eddie losing his shoes was hilarious but why is none talking about how in the final act, when they are running from the xenophage in the lab, Venom grabs a pair of sneakers for Eddie. The fact that he noticed Eddies lack of shoes and in the middle of a life or death battle remembered “oh shit I need to get some foot protection for my husband�� is absolutely adorable. Eddie is constantly on Venoms mind. He’s always thinking about him and how to help him and keep him happy.

It’s so sweet how all the other symbiotes have cool powers and stuff and Venom just has his all-abiding love for Eddie.
