Sweet Like Chocolate (Venom Drabble)
Tumblr media
Eddie/Venom x GN!Reader / requests are open
Summary: Venom's enjoys it when you're his host.
CW: fluff, making fun of Eddie
Venom Tag List: (send an ask to be added to a tag list!)
___ ___ ___ ___ ___
WE ARE NOT A BABY.
You tut and continue about making Venom’s tater tots. It hadn’t really been a genuine thought. It’s just that when you and Eddie trade Venom between you like parents trading a toddler for alone time, it kind of felt that way at times. Not that you were complaining, of course. Any time with Venom piggybacking in your head was time well spent in your own personal opinion.
It was just a shame that you weren’t a better match. Then he could come around with you more often. But no, that was Eddie’s responsibility, it would seem.
“I know, V- you know how human brains work. Thoughts just pop in unannounced.”
I WILL ALLOW IT.

You chuckle and pour yourself a glass of wine. A tendril of Venom’s form spreads from your back to put the wine bottle away for you, and you thank him kindly. Checking the timer on the tots, you frown. They were going to be at least another fifteen minutes.
“What do you want to do tonight, V?” You ask, plopping down on the lounge chair and taking a sip.
WE WANT TO SPEND TIME WITH YOU.
You smile softly, and Venom chuckles in your brain in response. That took some getting used to, actually, hearing someone laugh in your mind. But like all things, you acclimated.
“We’re doing that, buddy,” you reply.
YOU ARE FAR NICER THAN EDDIE. EDDIE IS MEAN.
You take another swig of your wine and flick the TV on quietly, flipping through to get to Venom’s favourite channel.
“How do you mean? Eddie’s a sweetie deep down,” you respond, finally finding the channel and putting the subtitles on for yourself. Eddie was always a sweetie. It was just that he was a bit gruff. Venom grunts.
EDDIE’S AN ASSHOLE.
You hear the bathroom door creak open and turn around, seeing Venom’s tendril rooting around in there for something. You don’t question it further than that, knowing that whatever he’s looking for will be found.
You’re proven correct when the tendril returns with your hairbrush. You dutifully fluff your hair out from the neck of your cardigan for Venom, who hums appreciatively and begins to brush at your hair.
It’s something he likes to do for you. You’re not sure whether it’s because he enjoys the sensation himself, or whether it’s something he does for you. It could be both, all things considered. Your eyes flutter shut, and you lose yourself in the motions for a few minutes.
“He can be an ass,” you finally acquiesce. “But he means well.”
Venom’s head materialises from over your shoulder and faces you. His tendril pauses its ministrations in your hair for a moment, and he appears thoughtful.
“I suppose,” Venom replies. “We prefer you. Prettier host.”
You flush pink and brush a hand over Venom’s cheek. Or what would be his cheek, you supposed?
“You’re a sweet thing, V.”
Venom nods, ripples of his skin flowing over his form.
“Like chocolate, yes?”
You laugh and make to get up when the timer for the tater tots goes off.
“Like chocolate.”

Ooh what about venom x reader where venom gets super excited when Eddie falls asleep because he can have reader all to himself and he wakes her up so he can fuck her??
this post is 18+, minors dni.
contents/warnings: monsterfucking/alien fucking, i think this is technically dubcon? cause venom doesn't get verbal consent from reader but i assure you it is consensual
You'd fallen asleep in the warm embrace of flushed skin, but when you wake its to a cool stickiness that closes itself over your mouth. You're hit with the feeling of being trapped, your nerves light like fuses that singe at your insides, but you breathe through your nose and it only takes you a second to realize what's happening.
Venom.
You're no stranger to the alien symbiote that inhabits Eddie's body, but it's still somewhat of a shock to feel a stray tendril snaking around your thigh. Which is exactly what's happening, and you presume it's why Venom has your mouth covered.
"Easy, pet," He purrs, his voice devilishly gruff where his head protrudes from Eddie's shoulder to leer down at you, grin sharp glistening with saliva, "Eddie is sleeping."
A sideways glance at your boyfriend reveals that he is, in fact, unconscious, his cheek smushed rather unflatteringly against the pillow while drool seeps into the white fabric. It means that Venom can't take over Eddie completely unless he wants to risk Eddie waking, and you're guessing by the sly grip on your leg that he does not want that.
You reach up to pry at the tentacle that's suckered itself against your lips but Venom doesn't let up, chuckling darkly instead.
"No, Y/N, I cannot uncover your mouth," He explains, and the way that your stomach lurches when his tentacle strokes experimentally against your now-eager clit makes you believe him, "If I did, you would not be able to keep quiet. I plan to make you scream."

Enrapture - Miguel O'Hara [NSFW]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Miguel O'Hara x Venom x Fem Spider Scientist reader (afab biology)
a/n: venom venom venom miguel again again again again! (part one)
tags: Minors DNI, NSFW, symbiotic relationship (still kinda), obsessive Venom, just as obsessive and possessive Miguel O'Hara, consensual non-consent, breeding kink, missionary, tentacle-like appendages, fighting over reader, dominance/ agression, p in v sex, wrap it before you tap it psa
wc: 2.7k
synopsis: Miguel and Venom can make it work. Venom and you can make it work. Miguel, Venom and you can make it work.
You woke up to the burning smell of pancakes. You'd rolled over in the middle of the night, curling into Miguel's scalding body and kicking away the comforter to opt of your fiance's heavy arms.
Fastening your tired body upright, your neck stiffened as you grabbed the flat sheet and tied it around you to inspect the smell.
"Venom, I'm telling you, she won't eat all this," Miguel whispered hurriedly, standing in the middle of the kitchen. Hands on his hips, he turned around in the direction of Venom's appendage darting back and forth.
Nourishment for amor, nourishment for Miguel. Nourishment for Venom.
Miguel reached to rub at his temple, another appendage of Venom's extending from his spine to grab onto the skillet cooking bacon.
You tiptoed to the doorway, hearing Miguel's hurried whispering and wanting to inspect.
"Venom!" Miguel hissed, grabbing onto the symbiote's appendage to stop him. "That's enough. I won't eat all this either."
That's not fair! I'm hungry.
"Honey?" You questioned, staring at Miguel in the kitchen holding Venom in his hand.
Both Miguel and Venom turned in your direction, taking in your shocked face. "Good morning....amor."
"W-w-what the hell is that?" You asked immediately, rushing to Miguel's side to touch at the black ooze.
Miguel attempted to twist away from you, forcing Venom back into his body. "Y/N, hermosa, relax. Please."
You ran your fingers along Miguel's spine, hoping to find a bulge where the black ooze originated from.
If she touches me, that's not my fault!
"Venom, relax." Miguel coaxed, allowing the symbiote to reel back into his spine.
You pulled your hand back and rested both on your hips. "Miguel. Explain."
Miguel exhaled and looked down at you. He reached to pinch at his brow then glanced around the messy kitchen, making sure no remnants of Venom were around.
"Okay," Miguel started, grabbing onto your waist and pulling you to sit on the counter.
You crossed your arms, kicking the train of the flat sheet around your legs while glaring at your fiancé.
"So," Miguel began, pacing before you once as he swiped his palm over his face. "That...is Venom. The anomaly you found yesterday."
Your brows shot up as you slid off of the counter. "I'm sorry? The anomaly...Is in your body."
Miguel stiffened in place, backing into the stove as you stepped closer towards him. "Yes," he spoke slowly.
"You immediately put that thing in your body?" You reached for Miguel's wrist and hissed at the heat from his skin.
"No! No, it's just...Venom is symbiotic." Miguel tried while you lifted his arm to look under it.
You examined his bare side, seeing no bulges or sores that the appendage could expel from. Dropping Miguel's arm, you glared at him in disbelief.
"What did you do, Miguel?" You narrowed your eyes, running your hands along his waist then up the front of his body.
Her touches, they feel...
Miguel muscled through Venom's excited traipsing along his spine and grit his teeth.
"I was trying to do research. The thing, Venom, as you've seen, responds to both of our bodies."
You nodded slowly for Miguel to continue, eyes narrowed at him.
"I opened the box, attempted to touch it..."
You continued following his explanation, eyes roaming blankly over his body. There were no telling signs of the anomaly on him.
"It sank into me, amor." Miguel said finally, then turned over his shoulder to call for Lyla.
The sprite blipped into existence, producing her AI tablet with Miguel's body scan results. "Hey, check this out."
She held it in front of your face, allowing you to scan through the layout of Miguel, seeing the heat map light up along his body, then the shifting ooze within him.
Your eyes darted between Lyla's tablet to Miguel and back. "It attacked your spleen? Is it hostile?"
Miguel held his hands up in defense. "No. As I've said, we've come to a symbotic relationship."
You furrowed your brows at your fiancé. "But why? Why would you do that?"
For you, amor.
Miguel stood upright and forced his fist to the middle of his spine where Venom was housed.
What? It's true.
Miguel cleared his throat and met your eyes. "I allowed him my symbiosis to deny him you."
"Miguel..." you began, looking up from Lyla's tablet. "Does it wish to ingest me?"
Definitely not. The things I'd like to be in her.
Miguel pursed his lips together, turning on the burner behind his back. "No. It - he - Venom wanted you to host them. They find you compatible symbiotically."
"How does Venom know that?" You asked, crossing your arms again.
"Venom comes from Klyntar, where symbiotic beings like itself can judge compatible hosts by interaction via skin scanning." Lyla read off of the tablet.
You tightened the wrap of the flat sheet around you. "Lyla, what is Miguel's compatibility rate with Venom?"
Miguel straightened up, resting his hands on his waist. "Lyla, don't read tha--"
"Eighty-three percent."
Miguel exhaled deeply, shutting his eyes to ease his fast beating heart. "You are not getting her. We agreed."
We agreed, but if she asks...
You glared at Miguel, then looked over at Lyla's tablet. Upon reading Miguel's body map, you noticed that the symbiote housed itself in his spine.
You reached out, curling your arm around Miguel's body to touch the middle of his spine. Miguel flinched, recognizing where you were touching as Venom seemingly purred beneath his skin.
His eyes fluttered.
She's petting us.
"I know," Miguel whispered, staring down at you. Your chin was rested between his pectorals, keeping his stare while you tested your theory. "What're you getting at, hermosa?"
"I want to share Venom," you admitted softly. "To ease you of them harming you."
Yes!
"No," Miguel stated firmly, worming out of your hold when he felt Venom begin to seep from his skin. "I can't let you do that. I don't want you to."
"Why not?" You asked, turning as Miguel rounded the kitchen island.
Yes, Miguel. Why not?
Miguel shook his head, leaning forward against the counter. "I want to know how to get rid of him if I need to. If you took part of him..."
Your furrowed brows softened the more you stared at him. You understood instantly, but the thought of Miguel putting himself forward infuriated you.
You reached out for his hand. "If he's not dangerous, then we shouldn't worry now."
The silence between you grew until the dark appendage spawned from Miguel's side. You reached out with your free hand to timidly touch at the freeforming ooze, watching as it slithered between your fingers in a grasp.
Miguel took a deep breath, carefully minding you and Venom interacting. Venom's ooze slithered along your forearm, wrapping around to your elbow.
Mi amor.
Miguel hid a roll of his eyes, urging Venom to pull back. "He seems to really like you."
You smiled, lifting your arm before meeting Miguel's eyes. "Almost as much as you?"
"Never as much as me," Miguel said, relaxing his shoulders.
Spoil sport.
Miguel stepped closer to you, lowering his head to rest his forehead against yours. "I'm sorry..."
You exhaled against his lips, inhaling the stale coffee on his breath. As your lips met, the slack ooze of Venom grew taut between you. Your hand, once accepting Venom's touch, was now bracing Miguel's waist.
Your fingers slowly slipped beneath his waistband. Miguel hummed against your lips, feeling Venom gear up to travel up and down his spine in excited waves.
He imagined the symbiote practically panting over his shoulder, making him salivate extra in his kiss. Venom sloshed over Miguel's tongue, tainting your taste with his before darting to try at your mouth.
Miguel pulled back with a clearing of his throat, wiggling whatever inch of Venom tried at you. You quirked a curious brow, your hand petting round the front of Miguel's waist.
"Sorry, he-uh-he almost slipped into your mouth." Miguel gulped, leaning in to resume where he was interrupted.
You curled your free arm around the back of Miguel's neck, heightening on your tiptoes. "Next time, let him."
I'm in love.
Miguel swore under his breath but met your lips again, this time pinning you against the counter before pulling you up. The flat sheet around your body slowly cascaded away, tangled to the floor by Miguel's feet.
Your hand at Miguel's waist dove to caress his nestled pubic hair, grinning at the abrasive texture before feeling the length of his cock.
Venom purred in Miguel's chest, met with the invitation to play along. The dark appendage appeared from Miguel's spine, tickling at your knee before slithering along your inside thigh.
You jolted at the touch, hotter than Miguel's actual hands or tongue. Still, you took Miguel's hands and guided them over your breasts, down your sides before they rested on your hips.
Venom's touch continued, seeping between Miguel's fingers and under one of your breasts. Miguel seethed against your kiss, feeling the symbiote lush his way into your mouth by way of him.
Miguel pressed himself closer, stamping himself to you in dominance. "Backseat, Venom."
No fair. She said let me in.
Miguel bit away, pressing his lips to your cheek to whisper to the alien. "Not in every way. She's mine first."
You huffed in Miguel's ear, biting your lip as you arched into him. "Are you two fighting over me?"
"What? No!"
Yes!
You pulled back to meet Miguel's reddened eyes, the obsidan oozing into his iris much like you'd seen the night before. "Well, don't. I trust you, okay? And I trust Venom in there, too."
Your hand trailed up and down Miguel's spine again, no doubt riling up the symbiote further. Miguel shivered at the affection, Venom purring hard enough to make him vibrate within.
"H-he likes that," Miguel admitted, his body stiffening as his eyes fluttered. "A lot."
You smirked. "Seems he's not the only one."
C'mon, Miguel. We make a good team.
Miguel tried to bite his tongue, but felt the warmth ripple through him with each rumbling purr. You hissed at the feeling, his chest rumbling against yours as Venom's appendages softly seeped from Miguel's body onto yours.
"Once," he grit before your parted lips. "Just this once. And he stops when you tell him."
Of course, our amor comes first.
He slammed his eyes to not roll them before you. You agreed, taking in his stuttering breaths before opening your legs further.
"Be gentle, Venom," you urged, feeling the onyx appendage lapping its way further to your slit.
Miguel cut the symbiote short, managing to touch your clit first in the race of carnal desire. You shivered at your fiance's touch, your knees trembling as he swirled your wet against his rough fingerpads.
Venom's appendage caught up, seeping between Miguel's fingers and peeling back your hood to latch onto your sensitive nub. Your hand lashed out at Miguel's wrist, nails aching to pierce his skin as you cried into his mouth.
The sensitivity was too much at once, drawing your breaths high and tight. Your leg raised, knee buckling against your fiance's side as Venom's touch crested and waned in a soft suckling.
Miguel's nostrils flared, the scent of your arousal fueling his senses. His fingers were doused in you, dipping them to circle your entrance.
You cried further into Miguel's mouth, breaking from his kiss to whine at the ceiling. His lips sloppily crashed against your chin then down to your neck as extra appendages appeared from his sides. Venom caressed your breasts, slithering under them before attaching to your nipples.
Miguel sneered, glaring at your body covered in Venom's darkness. "Venom," he began, his tone edging with disdain.
"Miguel," you whimpered, grabbing the back of Miguel's neck to pull him back into you. "Fuck me."
He gulped dryly, his cock actively straining against his boxers.
Fuck her, Miguel. Fuck her good.
Miguel actively wanted to scoff at the symbiote conversing in his head. He met your lips, pumping his fingers into you as Venom pulsed at your clit.
"Has he warmed you up?" he asked snarkily.
Your eyes fluttered, trying to laugh but a moan escaped your mouth and reverberated against Miguel's. "Are you jealous?"
Miguel chided in stride. "He's only a part of me. He'll butter you up, but I fuck you raw."
A chill raked down your back, arching into Miguel's hot body; melting Venom from your nipples and leaving your pressed, skin to skin, against Miguel.
Miguel rested his hand to your jaw, pulling you to meet his obsidian flooded gaze. Your eyelids fluttered, matching his pumping fingers with rolls of your hips.
"He can aid in your pleasure, but I deliver it. Don't I?" Miguel asked sultrily, searching your lusty eyes already knowing the answer.
You nodded softly, your knee catching to his side and arching back at Miguel's guidance.
"I've been here before him," Miguel stated, dropping his lips to kiss between your breasts, then dragging his warm lips further to peck at your ribs. "And I'll be here long after him, he lives in my wake. I'll give you everything you desire."
Suck up.
Miguel grinned devilishly against your belly, admiring how your body reacted to his touch versus Venom's. Your chest heaved, ready to break.
"Miguel, please," you pleaded. Your hand holding his wrist actively trying to speed him up.
He chuckled, retreating his fingers to pull down his boxers. Angling his steel cock at your entrance, licking his lips at the sight of Venom holding you open to aid the process. Your thighs trembling from your clit being decimated by the symbiote's pressure.
Miguel drove into you, instantly melting at the hug of your velvety walls. His hands, starting from your hips, slithered up your body then back down to force you harder on his cock.
Your head fell back against the counter, a sharp moan escaping from your chest.
"Fuck," Miguel growled against your outstretched body under him. "You're burning up."
His tongue lapped against your skin, the stripe of saliva instantly drying. Miguel climbed over you, stretching his hands out to grab yours and pin them to the counter.
His hips jutted harshly into you, jiggling your body underneath him. Miguel's eyes boggled at the divine sight of you, slowing in his pace to savor your pleasure.
Venom tightened at your clit, pinching before receding. You draped your legs over Miguel's thighs, riding into his thrusts.
The symbiote emerged from Miguel's sides in dark wings, slithering over his host and oozing onto you, between your combined bodies.
Miguel ignored Venom, pulling your hands up over your head for him to drape his arms around your head. Your eyes were locked on Miguel's, forgetting about the rumbling symbiote present between you.
Miguel felt Venom's tentacles slither around his cock, cradling his balls at the same time of holding your pussy open. You lifted your hips, your breath arching higher until you finally orgasmed at the combined force of Miguel and Venom.
Your noises vibrated through your fiance, making Venom pull back and rumbled up and down Miguel's back. Miguel panted, feeling Venom purr within him and practically zoom back and forth on his spine.
The combined senses caused Miguel to drive into you hard, seething as he came as far into you as his cock would let him. The warmth pooled into you, making you feel hotter and overtouched.
Miguel pulled out, slapping his cock against your spent pussy. You hissed softly, your knees shifting to clamp together.
"Mi amor, mi amor, mi amor," Miguel soothed, curling his arms around you, his touch suddenly soft and loving.
Nuestro amor, Miguel.
He kissed your forehead, pulling you into his lap while lightly brushing over your shoulders. Ignoring Venom's sentiment.
"Was it too much? Were we...?" Miguel asked, looking down at you rested against his chest.
Your ear rested against him, shutting your eyes to see if you could hear Venom inside Miguel. Tilting your head up at your fiance, you opened your eyes to see Miguel's natural eye color meeting yours.
"I like the two of you together," you tittered, offering a soft kiss to Miguel's pectoral. "Not so bad."
Miguel sneered, almost entertained by your sentiment. He leaned in to kiss your forehead again, muttered against your hairline:
"Don't expect it all the time."
She likes me!

Shadows of Regret
The city was drenched in shadows, the alleyways pulsating with a darkness that seemed to wrap around you like a suffocating blanket. The distant hum of traffic echoed against the bricks, but you hardly noticed. Your heart raced as you stepped into the alley, the harsh, flickering light from a nearby streetlamp casting an eerie glow on the cold pavement. Clad in your favorite worn leather jacket, faded jeans, and scuffed boots, you felt a mix of adrenaline and fear. You had insisted on coming to help Eddie, even after he had urged you to stay behind. “You don’t understand what’s at stake,” he had said, his voice raw and pleading, his dark hair falling into his eyes as he turned away from you.
But you did understand. You understood the depths of his pain and the darkness that clung to him and Venom like a second skin. You couldn’t just stand by while he faced the chaos alone. You needed to be there for him, to remind him he wasn’t as lost as he believed.
When you arrived at the warehouse, the musty smell of metal and decay hit you like a wall. You could hear the distant growls and snarls of Venom as he clashed with the gang that had been terrorizing the city. Eddie’s gruff voice broke through the noise, tinged with anger and desperation. “Get out of here! You don’t belong here!” He didn’t see you, his back turned as he fought, but you could feel the weight of his words pressing down on you.
“Eddie!” you shouted, your voice barely rising above the chaos. You stepped forward, heart pounding, your instincts screaming at you to turn back. But you couldn’t. Not now.
In that moment, Eddie spun around, eyes wild, his breath coming in harsh gasps. When he saw you, a flicker of shock crossed his face, but it was quickly replaced by fury. “I told you to go! You shouldn’t be here!” His voice was a thunderclap, reverberating off the warehouse walls. The venomous edge in his tone cut deeper than any physical blow.
You recoiled slightly, hurt flashing across your features. “I’m not leaving you,” you said, struggling to keep your voice steady. “You need me.”
But Eddie’s expression hardened, and you could see the internal battle raging within him. He stepped toward you, fists clenched, his body taut with tension. “You don’t get it! I can’t protect you if you’re here! I won’t let Venom hurt you. You have to trust me.”
A deep ache settled in your chest as his words sank in. You knew he was right to worry, but you also knew that pushing you away was tearing him apart. The guilt that shadowed his every move was palpable, and it stung you to see him like this, so raw and broken. “Eddie, please…” you began, but before you could finish, a loud crash echoed through the warehouse, pulling both your attention away.
Venom’s monstrous form loomed in the dim light, a twisted amalgamation of muscle and shadow, his white eyes glowing with a fierce intensity. He was strong, fierce, and ready to fight, but you could see the flicker of concern in those glowing orbs as he watched you.
“Get back!” Eddie shouted again, panic rising in his voice as he stepped in front of you, a shield against the chaos. He was imposing and protective, but the fear behind his eyes was unmistakable. “I can’t lose you too!”
You felt your breath hitch, a mix of hurt and determination swelling inside you. “Eddie, I can handle myself!” you insisted, pushing past him, refusing to cower. But the moment you stepped forward, the atmosphere shifted, a palpable tension crackling in the air.
Venom roared, lunging at the gang members, a mass of dark tendrils and fury. You turned to see the fight erupt, but the chaos quickly descended into a blur of fists and snarls. Suddenly, one of the attackers broke free, rushing toward you with a wild look in his eyes, and in that split second, everything changed.
The air was thick with tension as Eddie and Venom fought side by side, a chaotic whirlwind of violence and desperate energy. You stood there, torn between fear and the desire to help, watching as Eddie threw himself into battle. Every part of you screamed to turn away, to run and get out of harm's way, but you refused.
"I’m not leaving you," you whispered under your breath. You wouldn’t run, not after everything he’d already sacrificed. You refused to be another person to abandon him when he needed someone most. But in the instant you stepped forward, trying to close the gap between you and Eddie, the world shattered.
One of the gang members—a hulking figure whose face was contorted with anger—saw the opening. His eyes locked onto you, and before you could react, he lunged. You instinctively tried to dodge, but your foot caught on a loose piece of debris. Time seemed to stretch in that split second as you felt your body stumble, your knees buckling under you.
The pain was immediate. His hand clamped around your wrist like a vice, jerking you into the air before slamming you against the brick wall with a sickening thud.
"NO!" Eddie’s voice rang out, filled with raw terror, but you couldn’t hear him clearly over the buzzing in your ears. Your vision blurred, and your breath hitched as your side exploded with pain. The air was knocked from your lungs, sharp and searing. The wall scraped against your skin like jagged glass, sending an icy, fiery sting through your entire body.
For a moment, you couldn’t breathe. You couldn't think. Your body burned with the sensation of the world falling apart.
"Shit!" Eddie's voice, desperate and filled with anguish, reached you just as the air around you felt suffocating. His figure, all tension and fury, collided with the gang member. The force of the impact sent the man crashing backward, but Eddie didn’t even hesitate—he turned back to you in a heartbeat.
“Stay with me,” he begged, his voice breaking. His eyes were wide, frantic. The moment his gaze met you, it was as if he saw everything he'd been running from. His face contorted in fear, the protective mask he'd worn for so long slipping, revealing the broken man beneath.
You wanted to respond. To tell him you were fine, that it wasn’t so bad. But your body was betraying you, the pain spreading like wildfire across your ribs, your lungs. You gasped for air, but all that came was a pained, shallow breath. Your vision spun, and you could feel the sharp heat of blood pooling beneath you. The world around you dulled as your consciousness began to fade.
Eddie reached you before you could slip into unconsciousness, his hands trembling as he cradled your face. “No, please don’t do this,” he muttered, his voice jagged with desperation. “Don’t you dare leave me… I can’t… I can't lose you.” His words seemed to echo, thick with a vulnerability you’d never seen from him before.
Venom raged inside Eddie, a furious entity locked within him, but even Venom—powerful, violent, and untamed—seemed to share in Eddie's fear, his sense of helplessness. "Stay with her, Eddie," Venom growled, his voice like a thousand serpents hissing in the air. "You can't lose her. Not like this."
Eddie’s hands moved over you like he was trying to hold your brokenness together, his fingers grazing over the bloodied side of your body. “You’re going to be okay. You have to be okay,” he said, more to himself than to you. His voice was trembling, shaking with a fierce, raw energy. But his touch, frantic as it was, wasn’t enough to stop the blood that stained your clothes and soaked into his hands.
He looked at you again, his breath coming in desperate pants, his face pale. His eyes, usually sharp with intensity, were now wide and filled with terror, as if every bit of him had unraveled in an instant.
“I told you to stay back,” he choked out, his voice breaking, full of blame, guilt, and grief. “I told you… I told you it was too dangerous.”
But you hadn’t listened. You couldn’t. You wouldn’t leave him.
And now, seeing you so fragile, so hurt, Eddie felt like he was crumbling. He tried to push the guilt down, tried to focus on you, on getting you to safety. “I should’ve… I should’ve kept you safe.” His hands shook as he tried to stop the bleeding, but the blood kept coming, your life slipping away with every passing second.
“You shouldn’t have been here,” he muttered, the words coming out jagged, broken. “I never wanted this for you.”
Venom’s voice cut through the storm of Eddie’s thoughts. "Eddie, don’t—" The symbiote’s voice softened, a rare moment of calm in the midst of the chaos. "She chose to be here. She chose you."
Eddie swallowed, his breath uneven, and for the first time, he looked at Venom as though he’d never truly understood the weight of his own feelings. “I—no, I can’t lose her, Venom. I just can’t.”
Tears welled up in Eddie’s eyes as he pressed his palm to your side, trying to steady you, trying to hold onto you. “Please don’t leave me. I need you… I need you to stay.”
But your body was growing colder, your breath coming slower, and as much as Eddie tried, as much as he wished, he knew he couldn’t control everything. He couldn’t stop what was happening to you.
"Don't go, don't leave me..." Eddie repeated over and over again, each word a fragile thread he clung to as though it were his last lifeline.
Eddie’s frantic voice echoed in the stillness of the warehouse, as he tried desperately to keep you with him. The panic that had initially gripped him began to take on a sharper, deeper edge—the weight of everything pressing down on him. He couldn’t lose you. Not like this. Not after everything he’d done to keep you safe, only for you to be hurt because you refused to leave his side.
The blood was still coming, staining the fabric of your clothes and soaking his hands as he tried to staunch the flow. The fear in his chest was suffocating. He wasn’t sure if he was speaking to you or to himself when he muttered, “Please, don’t leave me... please...”
His heart hammered against his ribcage, and he was on the verge of losing control. “You can’t leave me,” he said again, but his words felt hollow, too desperate, too broken. “I’m sorry... I’m sorry I told you to go. I should’ve let you stay. I should’ve trusted you.” The words were coming out in a rush, tumbling from his mouth as he clung to you, his hands trembling on your bloodied body. The guilt felt like it was suffocating him.
Venom surged within Eddie, the symbiote feeling the devastation pouring through him, but the anger and frustration were twisted with a strange, painful sense of helplessness. “Eddie,” Venom growled softly, his voice trying to ground Eddie through the chaos. “We have to focus. Stay with her. We will fix this.”
Eddie’s grip tightened on you, his eyes locked on your face as though willing you to respond. The world around him seemed to blur, and all he could focus on was you, the person who had refused to leave him no matter how many times he told you to go. His heart ached in a way that words couldn’t describe. You were slipping away from him, and he couldn’t stop it.
But then, just as the darkness started to close in around the edges of your vision, you felt a warmth—slow, steady, like a flicker of life trying to push back the cold. A faint pressure on your side. You could feel Eddie’s hands trembling on you, but there was something else. Something deeper, stronger, as though the bond between you and Eddie was pulsing, alive, trying to fight back.
You didn’t know how long it had been, moments stretched into infinity, but the warmth you felt began to grow, spreading through your body, igniting something inside you. With effort, you forced your eyes open, the dim light from the broken windows above casting a shadow on Eddie’s face. His expression was a tortured mess, eyes filled with unshed tears as they locked onto yours.
"Eddie..." you whispered, the sound rasping from your throat, but just the act of speaking, of breathing, was enough to bring a glimmer of hope.
His name was a strangled sob. He leaned down, his forehead touching yours as though you were the only thing that mattered in the world. “You’re awake... You’re awake.” His voice cracked, the rawness of his emotions spilling out in that single sentence. “I thought... I thought I lost you.”
He was shaking now, barely able to breathe, his hand gently cupping your face. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry...” Eddie repeated over and over, as though he could make it all better if he just said it enough. His lips trembled as he pressed a kiss to your forehead. The love and pain mixed in that kiss, raw and unfiltered.
“I couldn’t... let you leave me,” he whispered, voice breaking. “I need you.”
Venom’s voice rumbled from deep within Eddie, but it wasn’t filled with fury this time. Instead, there was a strange warmth in it, almost as if the symbiote itself had recognized the gravity of the moment. “You’re both stronger than you think, Eddie. Together.”
Eddie’s hand slid down to your side, gingerly pressing to the wound, but this time, the blood flow had slowed. The bleeding had stopped. Venom, in his own way, had reached inside, using his healing abilities to stitch the torn pieces of your body together. The symbiote worked quickly, trying to make sure you were stable.
You could feel the pull of Venom’s influence, but it wasn’t suffocating. It was healing. It was saving you.
The moment dragged on, but slowly, you started to feel your strength return, your breathing becoming less shallow, the dizziness ebbing away. You looked up at Eddie, who still hovered above you, his eyes wide, watchful, never leaving your face.
“I’m… okay…” you whispered hoarsely, though you knew it wasn’t completely true. But the warmth spreading through your body, the steadiness returning to your breath, gave you hope.
“Okay?” Eddie repeated, his voice still cracked, but there was disbelief in it, as if he couldn’t quite accept that you were truly waking up, that you were going to be okay. “You’re... you’re gonna be fine. I swear to God, I’ll make sure of it.”
For a moment, it felt like the weight of the world had lifted just a little. Eddie’s hands were still on you, but this time, it wasn’t frantic. It was tender, caring, almost as if he couldn’t believe you were still there, still alive. Venom’s presence—once something terrifying and alien—now felt oddly comforting, like an anchor, steadying Eddie and allowing him to focus on the most important thing in that moment: you.
Your body was exhausted, but the warmth of Eddie’s touch, the bond you shared with him and with Venom, was enough to make you feel like you could hold on.
“We’re not leaving you, not now,” Eddie promised, his voice fierce but filled with relief.
You nodded, tears stinging the corners of your eyes as you reached out with shaky hands to pull him closer, needing him more than you had ever needed anyone. “I’m here, Eddie,” you whispered, your voice soft but determined. “I’m not going anywhere.”
And for the first time in what felt like forever, Eddie let out a deep breath, his tension easing as he pulled you into his arms, his body cradling yours protectively. Venom was there too, a steady, comforting presence within Eddie, assuring that they would both protect you—no matter the cost.
“I promise,” Eddie murmured into your hair, his voice thick with emotion. “We’ll be okay. All of us. Together.”
As the night pressed on, the city still echoing with its distant sounds, the three of you remained, bound together in a way that felt unbreakable. Whatever the future held, whatever dangers awaited, you knew that you’d face them side by side.

Eddie Brock x GN Reader (Who has A Symbiote)
Tumblr media
When you told him, he genuinely thought you were bullshiting him.
But when you showed him your little friend he was shocked yet not.
I mean he himself has seen several Symbiotes and has his own! But the fact you had one was unimaginable!
“Okay, you have one too….”
“This is cool, all cool, all is cool..”
After a while he’s just super chill with it!
If your Symbiote likes him then he most definitely talks to them, gives them snacks, greets them. Their pals! No matter how Venom may feel out them!
Venom: Eddie I don’t like Symbiote/name.
Eddie: Do you want Yn to stay?
Venom:*yells* of course I do!
Eddie: Then suck it up.
If your Symbiote doesn’t like him however, he keeps his distance (try’s) and try’s to be as friendly as possible. (Again, tries.)
Tries to get Venom and your Symbiote to coexist with one another as peacefully and non-chaotically as possible. (How well all depends on your Symbiote my friend, good luck😂🫡)
Sees you in full fledged symbiotic form and he’s turned on (I’m kidding, well he thinks it’s attractive and is impressed)
I’m sorry I haven’t posted I have been so busy and this is the my main account, it is where I visit.
Long stories short, I’m sorry and I hope you enjoy!❤️🥀🖤

Seven: Climb (Venom!Reader x AndrewGarfield!Spiderman)
Summary: Peter Parker should know that anything that can go wrong will go wrong on his patrols.
Word Count: 578
Tumblr media
"I do not understand you!" A voice with an odd inflection and guttural tone bombarded Peter's ears.
"We can't just eat anyone, okay? Why is that so hard to understand?"
Peter noted a different voice, its sound was much kinder to Peter's intensified hearing but its actual words left him stupefied. Peter Parker, clad in his Spider-Man costume, had been absentmindedly scaling the side of a building on his patrol when he found himself eavesdropping on a very unusual conversation.
"You said 'bad people', he was clearly a bad person, he was stealing!" The first voice argued.
"Stealing baby wipes and diapers! We don't eat people like that." Peter had to keep himself from leaping from the wall, there were cannibals on that rooftop! Cannibalism is definitely on his list of no-nos.
"Human morals are too complicated to understand. My own race follows no such stupid rules, it is as your Darwin would say 'survival of the fittest'."
"That's why you're on Earth because you're definitely not the fittest-" This statement was met with an indignified roar that almost made Peter shit himself. "-And how do you even know about Darwin?... Have you been on the internet again!?"
"..."
"I told you no web surfing while I sleep!" "It is very boring! I cannot help myself!" "I can't believe you!"
Peter had heard enough damning evidence to bring these people in, the strange and sick cannibals that they were, so with a swift movement- he launched himself up and landed on the roof. Oddly, he only found one person instead of two. He tilted his head and almost jumped back in sheer fear as the person transformed into a dark towering beast.
"WHAT THE FUCK!?"
"Aw, is the little spider afraid? You should be. The tasty meal that you are."
"There will be no eating or snacking of any kind, thank you very much!" Peter squeaked out, feeling very much out of his depth with this new adversary.
The huge creature scrambled towards him on all fours eliciting an unmanly shriek from the young man as he flung himself out of reach of it. It turned to follow him but before it could, it transformed back into the recognisable shape of a human. Peter let out a shaky breath as you held your hands up.
"Sorry, sorry! Spider-Man, right? Aw, man. I'm a huge fan. Sucks we have to meet like this." Peter felt whiplash at the difference in the interactions, he couldn't respond with how perplexed and dumbfounded he was.
A serpentine black sludge erupted from your neck, it curled around to face you, and all of its razor-sharp white fangs were born, "I am hungry, I do not care about who Spider-Man is or your attraction to him!"
You splutter, face heating up, "What? No, I'm not- such slander! How preposterous!"
Peter ran a gloved hand down his face before leaping down to be face to face with you, "I'm sorry but what the hell is going on right now? What IS that? Do you have a sentient tapeworm?"
"TAPEWORM?"
"Sorry! Not a tapeworm, sorry!"
You cough and stuff your hands into your pockets, and you begin to ramble, "He's just an alien, picked him up a while ago, and he's just uhh carnivorous. Don't take me to the police, please, you're so sexy ahaha."
Peter tilted his head in confusion.

Safe Together (Venom Drabble)
Tumblr media
Venom x GN!Reader / requests are OPEN
Summary: Venom has a confession to make
Venom tag list: (send an ask to be added to a tag list!)
___ ___ ___ ___ ___
“WE FEEL SAFE.”
“That’s great, Vee,” you reply softly, smiling at the floating head hovering over your shoulder. Venom’s eyes crinkle happily, and you press a soft kiss to his forehead. “I always want you to feel safe.”
“NO, YOU ARE NOT UNDERSTANDING.”
Your smile falters a fraction, and you put the washing you’re folding down to pay closer attention to Venom. You gesture for him to continue. Venom’s tongue lolls out of his serrated teeth for a moment as he thinks of how to express whatever it is he wants to say.
“WE FEEL SAFE. WITH YOU.”
You can feel your heart swelling. It’s not something to be taken lightly, having someone feel safe with you. And to have that expressed verbally as well?
“Vee,” you said in half a whisper. “I don’t know what to say- I,” you stumble over your words for a moment. “You make me feel safe, too.”
Venom’s head gave a short nod, though it wasn’t as if he needed the confirmation. He had all the time full view of your thoughts, memories, and feelings. He knew exactly how you felt about him.
“WE ARE SAFE TOGETHER,” he practically purrs.
“Yes, we are. So long as we have each other, buddy,” you confirm for him, rubbing a thumb over his waxy skin.

venom and eddie trying to surprise reader with a present/party but it goes to shit bc venom cant keep a secret from the reader <33 🧸
A sticky black tendril holding the door shut would have sufficed, but Venom decides to accompany that with a startling roar of, 'No!' that effectively stops you from trying to grab the vaccuum.
"Venom..." You stand in front of the closet, though your head is turned now to face the symbiote desperately trying to shrink back into Eddie's flesh as if you'll forget he existed, "What's in the closet?"
"Nothing's in the closet," Eddie hums casually, still stationed at the stove like the windows hadn't just rattled with venom's shout, "Just the vacuum, but it's broken so don't bother trying to use it."
"Well maybe I can fix it," You start for the closet again, only to be stopped again, this time restrained by venom's tentacle.
"Hey! Get off of me," You struggle against the symbiote to no avail, and before long he has you completely bound in a blanketing of stickiness. It clings to your skin and makes it crawl, but no matter how hard you fight, you can't free yourself.
"Venom- Venom! Let me go," You cry, "I just want to vacuum!"
"I cannot let you in the closet." Venom soothes you, his voice pitched low and smooth because he knows it helps you calm down, "There is something in there that you cannot see."
"Please don't tell me it's a dead body," You've given up your fight now, going limp in Venom's tight grip. One of the tendrils he's captured you with smooths a stray chunk of hair out of your face where you'd struggled it free.
"It is not a dead body. It is a-"
"Venom! Venom, do not tell her what it is." Eddie breaks his casual facade now, pointing the spatula in his hands aggressively at the symbiote, "I was not kidding. If you spoil this, I'm forcing you out of my body and throwing you to the streets."
"You tried that once," Venom sneers, "It did not work. Y/N, we are not hiding a dead body in the closet. It is your birthday present."
"Shut up! Shut up, stop talking right now," Eddie urges, "Venom, I mean it. Stop talking or I'll kill Sonny and Cher."
Venom's wide, milky, blinking eyes swivel towards his prized pet chickens, and he goes limp around you, releasing his tight grip on your limbs and allowing you the freedom of movement once again. He shrinks back into Eddie, effectively chastised, but before he disappears completely, he grumbles, "Don't worry, Y/N. You will find out that it is an ice cream maker soon."

Enmesh - Miguel O'Hara
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Miguel O'Hara x Fem Spider Scientist reader (afab biology)
a/n: venom venom venom miguel is the dirtiest and slimy but i'm loving this alot. also i ain't copin' to shit. (part two)
tags: Minors DNI, NSFW, Spiderverse hopping, scientific discovery, symbiotic relationship (kinda), references to self-harm (destruction and/or suicide), obsessive Venom, just as obsessive and possessive Miguel O'Hara, consensual non-consent, breeding kink, missionary, oral sex, tentacle (not tentacles), anal fingering, no use of lube, creampie, hint to cervix penetration
wc: 4.24 k
synopsis: Miguel asks you, fellow scientist and spider-in-training, to investigate an anomaly that popped up on the radar.
Miguel had tasked you to follow a couple of Spiders out on patrols, due to the spike in anomalies on Earth TRN688. He’d attempted to go out to that verse himself, but was called to aid Spiderwoman.
You did as ordered, keeping close remarks in the New York you appeared in. Following the Spider you were partnered with, you kept up with your own built-in web slingers and scanned over the landscape with your anomaly tracker.
Miguel followed your tracking, monitoring the spikes in the radar and mapping the New York geography. He was distracted in his own task, enough so that Jessica pocketed his personal tracker on you.
You managed to stop on the same rooftop as Reilly, catching your breath with another scan of the radar.
“What’s up?” He asked, pulling off his mask to catch his breath.
You shrugged, narrowing your eyes at the tracker as a spike rose up in the landscape. “We need to get over there.”
You pointed across Central Park, directly over the water. “There’s a spike out there.”
Reilly exhaled, returning his mask back on and kicking off of the rooftop. “Let’s go.”
You scampered after him, looking over the ledge of the rooftop to see your companion free-falling into New York traffic before catching himself on a web at the last second. You released a shaky breath, shooting out a web and jumping from the ledge, swinging after the Spider.
Upon reaching the anomaly spike, you landed roughly on the scorched grass in Central Park. You pulled yourself up and walked around the crash site of the meteorite. Reilly landed carefully behind you, watching as you slowly approached the cracked open, smoking space rock.
You leaned forward to look at the rock, plain of anything significant.
A splash of shadow lurched out at you and, in the split second of you lurching back in shock, Reilly shot a heavy web out to stop it. The captured ooze writhed on the ground before your feet, slowly soaking in Reilly’s web until you stamped a foot to cut it off.
You dug through your research bag to find a vial large enough for the thing to fit in and bent to stuff it in. You screwed on a tamper seal, holding the vial up to your face as the ooze, dark as night, began to float within the glass like a lava lamp.
Your thumb folded over the front of the glass, watching as the ooze lurched in the direction of it like it tried to attack you.
“The fuck is that?”
You shook your head. “I don’t know. But it’s alive.”
“No shit. It almost ate you.” Reilly said, standing to fold his hand over the back of his neck. “O’Hara would’ve killed me if something happened to you.”
You tore your gaze away from the ooze to look at Reilly. “I appreciate you babysitting me. I’ll tell Miguel your contribution to my safety.”
Reilly dropped his arms to his side, then crossed them over his chest. “Is that all we came for?”
You pursed your lips, bringing the vial into your full hold. “I think so.”
You gave the ooze another curious look then straightened up the contents of your bag to put it in carefully.
“Let’s go show him what we found.”
-
As soon as you were back in headquarters, you bounded towards Miguel’s office. You held onto the strap of your bag carefully, slipping between the countless number of Spider-people in the direction of the epicenter.
You paused at the gate of Miguel’s office, catching your breath once again when you noticed it was occupied with a group.
“Hone— Miguel,” you corrected yourself, pushing yourself forward to Miguel’s platform.
Miguel was directed at the front of the group, looking down at them in pause of giving orders. His eyes slowly shifted over to you, noting your ragged breathing and flushed face.
“Dismissed.” He waved off the group in an instant, lowering the platform to allow you up. “What did you find? Are you okay?”
You nodded, immediately digging into your bag to retrieve the ooze vial. “Your anomaly…was a meteorite. This was found at the crash site.”
You held the vial up between the two of you, your view crossed between it and Miguel’s gaze. Your fingers held the top of the vial and the two of you watched as the ooze lashed up at where your fingers touched the glass.
“Shocking,” Miguel whispered, gripping the bottom of the vial in effort to get the ooze to react to his touch.
The ooze paused, homing itself at the top of the glass where you touched before drooping a glob down as if to test the waters at Miguel’s touch. The two of you watched as it stretched along the vial, touching both ends of the glass and thrumming slightly.
“What do you think it is?” You asked, wanting to hear another scientist’s theory.
“I’m not entirely sure. Is it dangerous?” Miguel asked, tugging the vial from your hold and rolling it in his palm.
You winced softly, watching your discovery slosh about the vial. “It lashed out at me when I arrived but Reilly caught it.”
Miguel’s brows furrowed, pulling his eyes from the ooze before meeting your gaze. “You’re okay?”
His free hand reached out, retracting his claws, and caressed your cheek. You grinned briefly, leaning into his touch.
“I’m fine. Web-slinger’s coming along great.”
Miguel hid a gulp, mirroring your grin before retreating his touch. “You did great, hermosa. I’m dismissing you.”
You nodded, your eyes cutting to the ooze vial in his palm. When you looked at it, the ooze reacted and lurched out in your direction.
“Okay. Will you be home for dinner?”
Miguel folded his lips together, looking down at the ooze vial then back at you. “I may be a bit late. Gonna see what makes this thing tick.”
While you wanted to stay to conduct research with Miguel, you knew that Lyla would be just as good as you in that aspect. You reached for your shoulder, tensing the muscle that throbbed in its place.
Raising on your toes, you leaned forward with bracing Miguel’s thick forearm. “Don’t be too late, okay? You need your sleep.”
You kissed his stubbled cheek, rested your forehead to his temple. “And I miss you.”
Miguel fought the deep exhale from his chest, turning in the direction of your mouth. He was tempted at your soft lips, his nose nudging yours. “I miss you too. I promise not to overdo it.”
“I’m holding you to that,” you whispered, pointing your pinkie finger out for Miguel to cross with his own.
He did so, noting your thumb circling the silicone band on your ring finger. “Get some rest.”
-
Miguel managed to find another container to move the ooze into. He tapped it into the jar and immediately flipped it over.
Watching the sludge dart to the bottom of the jar then below to the table. He forced his hand over the bottom of the jar to keep it from slipping free and marked its response to light.
Nothing.
Its response to water, a quick drop next to it made the ooze not react. Miguel glared at the sludge, shifting the jar back and forth for some sort of response from it.
"You're alive, I know you have a weakness."
When he spoke at it, the ooze seemed to perk up in the direction of his voice. Miguel quirked a brow, tilted his head. "You can hear."
The ooze fashioned its glob in the direction of Miguel's tilt, as if to mimic him. Miguel peeled the jar up and tentatively poked out to the ooze.
"Are you..." Miguel began, watching the ooze lash out to his finger and worm quickly up his arm.
"Whoa, slow down." He reached to stop the sludge but it disappeared under his palm.
Miguel still felt the crawl of the ooze on his body, over his skin and, then, under it. He fashioned his claws, ready to tear into his skin but took a deep breath.
"Lyla!" Miguel called out, looking around his office for his AI. "Run a diagnostic. Quickly."
Lyla blipped into being, scanning over Miguel as he took a few deep breaths in before he felt a sudden onset of heat.
"Mierde," he released in a pant, waving for Lyla to dissipate his suit for the full scan.
"What's wrong, Miguel?" Lyla asked, zipping around Miguel's head as she produced a virtual tablet. "Your temperature's raised to 125."
Miguel's stomach rumbled slightly, his throat growing dryer by the second. His mouth was drying, his tongue aching from the lack of moisture.
"What do you have so far?" Miguel asked, resting his hands on his hips and following Lyla round his head. He kept his breathing steady, blinking slowly while his heart pounded hard against his ribs.
"I-I'm checking," Lyla cut out her attitude, running through her tablet at the scrolling diagnostic. "What is this, Miguel?"
"The-the anomaly," Miguel muttered, snapping his fingers in the direction of the empty jar. "The thing understands words, cognizant of what I say."
Lyla nodded, looking up from her tablet. "I see. The thing is trying to make a nest in your chest, Miguel. It's attaching to your spinal cord."
Miguel gulped, straightening his stature. "Is it...aggressive?"
"Not as I've seen so far. The...thing is trying to inhabit your spleen and draw nutrients from it."
"No," Miguel grunted, immediately clenching his side and puncturing his skin with his claws. "Not if I have a say in it."
Hungry.
Miguel heard the word echo through his head, the word husking into his ear. He tilted his chin, raising his hand to Lyla. "It speaks."
Lyla raised her brows, scrolling through the tablet and stopping at a blip. "It appears to be receding from your spleen. Quick, say something."
Miguel deadpanned at Lyla, cocked his jaw as his body grew in chills. "What are you hungry for?"
Anything.
Miguel looked to Lyla as she turned the tablet towards him. He noted the ooze retreating back to his spinal cord, housing itself between his vertebrae.
"Do you have a name?"
We are Venom.
Miguel exhaled and Lyla resumed her final diagnostics.
"You say you eat anything, yet you garner for my spleen. Why?" Miguel asked, retracting his claws from his skin.
We eat anything. Humans are food.
"Why not eat me immediately?" Miguel asked.
You are with the woman. The scientist. We are symbiotic. We want the woman.
Miguel grit his teeth. "You can't eat her."
We do not wish to eat her. We want her to host us.
Miguel scoffed, waving for Lyla to retrieve his clothes. "Never going to happen. You want to stay with me, that's fine. But you're never getting her."
The ooze within him hummed, the noise reverberated down his spine and he tensed his top lip.
"That's the only way you'll stay. Otherwise, I will destroy you."
Not before destroying yourself first.
"So be it." Miguel cocked his jaw, unfolding his pants after they blipped into existence on his workstation. He gave a nod to Lyla. "I have nothing better to do anyways."
What about the woman?
"My woman," Miguel stressed, pulling on his pants. He reached for his shirt next, folding it over his head and pulling it over his torso.
Mi amor, you call her that. What does that mean?
Miguel scoffed, suddenly glancing to Lyla. "It tapped into my brain stem too?"
Lyla solemnly nodded. Miguel hid a roll of his eyes.
"It means 'my love'. My second language."
And hermosa?
Miguel shook his head. "'Beautiful'."
She is.
"Hey." Miguel snapped his fingers as he stared straightforward. "Venom, right? You...stay out of the way of her. If I recognize a single drop of you in her, I'll dissect myself to kill you. Do we understand each other?"
Venom laxed within Miguel, the closest form of contentedness he felt after the being melded into him.
Fine. We go home to her, though?
Miguel shut his eyes in slight disbelief. "Yes. We do. She's my fiancée."
Lucky.
-
You tried to stay up for Miguel, even after you climbed into bed. There was nothing to keep you in the meantime, after eating dinner and cleaning up the apartment, you waited.
It wasn't until your head jerked back up that you realized you had dozed off. And there was still no sign of Miguel. Shutting off your light, you returned to bed and soon fell asleep.
Miguel appeared in the bedroom when you were finally gone. He waited at the door, listening to you rustle between the sheets.
Venom demanded to be fed as soon as Miguel left headquarters. In order to keep his part of the deal, Miguel stopped at a convenience store and stocked up on roller hot dogs.
The taste of rolled-over grease settled wrong on his tongue, he gagged over not hacking the food back up.
"Why not chicken?" Miguel asked, on his way back to the apartment while suppressing a belch.
Chicken, no.
Miguel stepped into the room and stood at the foot of the bed, staring at you splayed over the mattress. He chuckled, tugging at your big toe.
She's pretty.
"She's my everything," Miguel offered, kneeling onto the bed and moving over you.
She smells delicious.
Miguel cut his face to the side, snarling at the darkness of the room. "You stay out of my mind. She's private."
Venom growled within Miguel. He felt a soft wiggle in his side, acknowledging the familiar ooze that emanated from his skin.
We feel how you do about her.
Venom's appendage caressed Miguel's chin and his nostrils flared.
"I'm not open to sharing." Miguel retorted, his top lip peeling up to reveal his fang.
Who said anything about sharing? We share your body, Miguel. Everything else is one.
Miguel leaned down and rested his forehead to your stomach, nudging his nose along your skin. You stirred, your hand tensing.
"She's mine, only mine," Miguel whispered.
You wish to impregnate her.
Miguel slammed his eyes shut, teeth grit harder as he folded his bottom lip to your skin. "I want her through and through."
Touching.
Miguel tsked, kissing up your body as he applied his weight over you. Venom's appendage slithered over the bed and ghosted over your pillow.
"You don't get to touch her," Miguel ordered softly. "Not unless it's through me."
Your rules.
Venom retracted the appendage and Miguel kissed behind your ear.
"Hermosa, I'm home." Miguel whispered. "I'm sorry I'm late."
Your tired hand reached up to comb through Miguel's hair. "You're burning up, baby."
"I know." Miguel rolled his eyes, his hands planting at your hips. "Cool off with me."
You grinned, working up to waking. "Keep moving like this, I'll break out in a sweat too."
Miguel hummed, kissing across your cheek. "I miss you."
You arched into Miguel, feeling the heat of his body all over you like a rash. His crotch was raving with heat, pressed just over your panties.
"I missed you," you hissed back, feeling your body awaken to his touch.
Her sounds, they are delicious too.
Miguel bit at your earlobe, earning your coo. He bowed his head, forcing out a remark to Venom. "Stop it."
"I can't help it," you moaned, raising your leg.
"Mi amor." Miguel returned to your mouth and kissed you, feeling the anomaly within him ebbing up his throat.
He pulled back with a harsh swallow. His jaw cocked, Miguel reversed back down your body with kisses.
In your shirt, he muttered at Venom to stay in their lane. He bit at the waistband of your panties and peeled them down, lashing his tongue out to stripe your pubic bone.
You sighed, raising your hips for Miguel to pull your panties down. He did so, grinning devilishly as he did. The heat rose under his skin, feeling a prickle at the sight of your sex.
Miguel selfishly leaned in to kiss your inside thigh, dragging his lips along your skin before descending on your pussy. He didn't waste a moment, making a meal of your clit.
You edged awake, sitting up to tighten your grip on his hair. "Baby."
Miguel moaned into you, staring across your body to meet your tired eyes. Venom rattled in Miguel's chest, the ooze ready to lash out and gain his own taste of you.
Miguel pulled away, bit his own tongue to draw back the anomaly. You groaned, shifting your hips up to gain his mouth back.
"Stay," he hissed.
We want to taste.
You purred, grinding your hips back to the mattress. "So bossy."
Miguel flashed a grin at you, bowing back to resume between your legs. "Not a chance. Live in my wake," he muttered against your lips, kissing them before parting you with his tongue.
He forced his crotch to the bed, trying to work out his own pleasure while focusing on yours.
You want her. We want her too. We can help.
"Get bent," Miguel slopped, suctioning his mouth over your clit.
You crooned, breath picking up with each soft lap to your bundle of nerves. "Miguel, please..."
She begs for us.
"Not for you," Miguel offered, popping your clit from his mouth with another heated glare at you.
He shifted, grinding his pelvis against your heat. Your face pinched, a breathy groan escaping your lips. Your hands went to Miguel's hair, combing it from his face to see the lust driven in his eyes.
Instead of crimson lashing through his irises, it was obsidian. The black that pooled his pupils flashed then receded and you swallowed.
Miguel met your lips, allowed you to taste yourself on his tongue. Venom's appendage reappeared, slipping against your thigh as Miguel shifted out of his sweats.
His mouth occupied his demand for Venom to take a backseat. While he didn't understand the anomaly's obsession with you, he knew the need.
Hissing away from your kiss, Miguel bowed his head again. "Stay out of her," he whispered to himself.
She wants you, let us help please her.
"Not a chance," Miguel whispered, angling his stiffened cock against your entrance.
He sank in an inch, allowing you to adjust to his size. You squirmed, your hips lifting to earn more of him. "Please, baby. More."
You rocked your hips in effort to gain his friction. Miguel's hands at your hips held you still, hissing at the heat in his body. Venom ran laps along Miguel's spine, snarling and biting inside for a chance.
Miguel grabbed at the stray appendage of Venom slithering towards your ass and tossed it aside. He sank another inch into, adjusting to your clenching walls.
The heat from within you and the rising temperature of Venom made Miguel sweat out of his pants.
"Miguel, you okay?" You asked, taking note of the rivulets of sweat that doused his face.
The obsidian flashed in his eyes again, making him shed his shirt before going for yours next.
"I need to feel all of you," Miguel grunted, suddenly a man possessed.
The film of sweat on him slicked over your body, his hands gripping tighter in your hips as he sank further until you tensed. It was too much too soon, his size always being something to ease into.
Miguel ducked his head to your shoulder and recanted his hips. "Forgive me, mi amor. I'm starved for you."
His voice was laced with filth, the tone of him so needy and rough. He felt his throat was dragged through desertion to end at the fountain of you.
Miguel's arms caged over you, centering you in the middle of the bed while his skin dripped over yours. So open and naked, his eyes primal while he gulped at the sight of you.
She's so ripe.
Your legs melted further apart at Miguel's hips, your knees easing up while your stomach curled at the carnal stare that bore into you. You shared a soft swallow, feeling Miguel's throbbing cock nestled in your beating walls.
Venom's appendage snaked up your inner thigh, making your walls clench tighter, until a warmth settled between your cheeks.
Your hand reached down to examine the feeling, only to be caught by Miguel's hand on your wrist. You quirked, glancing between your bodies to acknowledge the warmth as Miguel's other hand wedged under your body and traced down your back.
He rested his palm to the small of your back, angling your hips to allow him more. You panted before his lips, feeling Miguel's fingers part your cheeks with a timid grin.
"I want to make you..."
Ours.
"Mine all over," he finished, leaning into your lips to peck. "Is that okay?"
You released a shaky breath and arched into Miguel's body. "Make me yours."
She's filthy. We like her.
"Stop me if it's too much," Miguel offered, finally relenting to Venom's appendage to take lead at your tighter hole.
At the same time, Miguel began to thrust softly into you. He readily eased your mind while Venom lapped the flexible appendage against your hole, making a movement like licking.
"Miguel," you gasped as Venom pushed in softly, testing the pucker of your ass.
Miguel nodded along with you, thrusting with your breaths and intoxicating himself between the two of them. He could taste Venom's excursion on his tongue, feeling the tight muscle slowly give way to the tip and thrust in.
The three of you vibrated on a similar wavelength, Miguel snarling as he fucked into and tasted you all at once. You wiggled at the slow drag of Miguel's assumed dry fingers in your ass, the feeling giving way to your slick being used as lube.
Venom pushed in softer, wiggling in soft half-circles to caress every sensitive wall. You cried into Miguel's mouth when both his fingers and his cock collided within you and sent a shockwave of pleasure to your system.
Your knees shook at Miguel's sides; he stared down at you, drinking in your demeanor while he and Venom made work of you.
She's beautiful.
"You're so beautiful," Miguel stole his words back from the anomaly as they echoed.
You smiled, drunk from the pleasure that vibrated through you. Miguel huffed against you, kissed your lips again as he ground his pelvis against your clit.
You felt another shock to your system, your toes curling as his fingers curved up to meet the thrusts of his cock.
Give her something good.
Miguel cut his eyes behind his lids, finally ignoring the alien and picking up his thrusts to meet your level of high. He was going to take you both over, not the anomaly obsessed.
Your hands gripped at Miguel's shoulders, not able to help the desperate clawing to his massive back to gain your standing. It was a fruitless effort, finding your hips rocking as Miguel's fingers ruined your ass and his cock paved through you.
"C-cum in me," you choked out, resting your forehead to Miguel's.
Make it good. Breed her.
Miguel ignored Venom's disturbed wants, only listened to you. He ground into you again, this time earning your body trembling as an orgasm tore through you.
It made a mess of you, your stomach heaving while your knees knocked at Miguel's sides. Your palms flattened to the small of Miguel's back, forcing his hips further into you. You rocked your hips to ride out your ecstasy, attempting to drive Miguel over at the same instance.
She's a keeper, alright.
Miguel mirthlessly scoffed, following the rock of your hips until the sweat broke out in another wave. He pushed into you, to the hilt, touching the white hot soft ring inside your pussy and came.
He doused your cervix with his cum, kissing at the womb's entrance with the desire to drive deeper into you. Miguel's mind raced, thinking of spelunking further, making you a whole new his.
At the same time, Venom slinked back to its recesses. Reeling back into Miguel, sated and quiet.
Miguel caught his breath over you, losing the strength in his arms and resting his full body against you. You panted just the same, staring up at the dark ceiling while your fingers combed through the nape of his hair. Your other hand traced up and down his spine, inadvertently petting the anomaly housed inside him.
"I," you began, lining your dry throat with a new coat of saliva. "I take it research wasn't a bust."
Miguel kissed at your neck, nuzzling his face in the crevice of your shoulder. "No, it wasn't. You...you brought me a blessing."
We're a blessing?
You edged your chin in to glance down at Miguel. "Really?" You asked, incredulous.
Miguel shook his head. "No, it's an actual pain in the ass. But worth further study."
You laughed softly then, resting your head back to the mattress. "Yeah, speaking of ass..."
Miguel tensed against you, ready for you to catch onto his secret play underneath the skin.
"I liked that," you admitted, rolling your eyes at the raw feeling of your hole, your walls still throbbing around Miguel's still-hard cock.
Of course she did.
Miguel grimaced at the anomaly's cocky nature echoed through him. He pecked at your skin. "I'll never do it again unless you want."
You blushed, shutting your eyes. "As long as I'm yours."

The city of San Francisco bustled with life, a sprawling metropolis filled with stories, secrets, and people from all walks of life. Among the countless stories, there was one unfolding in the heart of the city that had yet to be told. It was a story of friendship, trust, and a deeply held secret.
Eddie Brock sat in his cramped apartment, his brows furrowed as he stared at his laptop screen. He was engrossed in the latest news article he was writing for the San Francisco Chronicle. It was about the shady dealings of a local pharmaceutical company. Eddie's reputation as an investigative journalist was built on exposing the truth, no matter how uncomfortable it might be.
While he was absorbed in his work, there was a soft knock at the door. Eddie glanced at it, momentarily distracted. Another knock followed, a bit more insistent this time. With a sigh, he closed his laptop and went to answer it.
Standing on the other side of the door was (Y/N), his friend since their college days. (Y/N) had always been there for him, through thick and thin, and they shared a bond that went beyond friendship. But today, (Y/N) seemed different. They looked anxious, their eyes avoiding Eddie's.
"(Y/N), hey," Eddie greeted, his voice tinged with concern. "Is something bothering you?"
(Y/N) hesitated for a moment before speaking, "Eddie, there's something I need to tell you, but I don't know how you'll react."
Eddie frowned, his concern deepening. "You can tell me anything, (Y/N). You know that, right?"
(Y/N) nodded slowly, taking a deep breath. "Okay, here it goes. I... I'm a trans man, Eddie. I've always known it, but I've been too scared to tell anyone, including you."
Eddie's eyes widened, surprised by the revelation. He processed (Y/N)'s words carefully, realizing the weight of the secret they had just shared. (Y/N) had been living with this truth, hidden away from the world and their closest friend.
"(Y/N), thank you for trusting me with this," Eddie said earnestly. "I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it must have been for you to say this out loud."
Tears welled up in (Y/N)'s eyes as they finally met Eddie's gaze. "I was afraid you'd shun me, Eddie. You mean the world to me, and I couldn't bear losing your friendship."
Eddie stepped closer, placing a reassuring hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder. "You'll never lose my friendship, (Y/N). I'm here for you, no matter what. We'll face this together, just like we always have."
Relief washed over (Y/N) as they wiped away a tear. "Thank you, Eddie. I knew I could count on you."
Eddie offered a warm smile. "Always, my friend. Now, let's talk about what this means for you and how I can support you through this journey."
As the two friends sat down to have an open and honest conversation, they began a new chapter in their lives, one marked by acceptance, understanding, and unwavering friendship.
It was now evening and nighttime was approaching quickly, in the middle of the night, a chill ran through Eddie's small apartment. The dim moonlight filtered through the curtains, casting eerie shadows on the room. Eddie lay sound asleep in his bed, completely unaware of the impending presence that stirred within him.
Unseen by the world, Venom, the symbiotic entity that shared Eddie's body, began to awaken. Its inky tendrils slithered out from Eddie's sleeping form, stretching and twisting as they formed a shadowy mass on the floor. The transformation was eerie and silent, save for a faint, otherworldly hum that filled the room.
(Y/N), who had been asleep on the couch in the living room, stirred at the strange sensation. They opened their eyes to see the room bathed in a surreal darkness, the shadows dancing eerily. Panic washed over them as they realized that something unnatural was happening.
Before their very eyes, Venom's form coalesced, taking shape and substance. It was a terrifying sight, a monstrous figure with a mouthful of jagged teeth and crimson eyes that gleamed in the darkness.
"(Y/N)," Venom's voice rumbled, a low, resonating growl that sent shivers down (Y/N)'s spine. "Fear not, for you are safe."
Tears welled up in (Y/N)'s eyes as they sat up on the couch, their heart racing. "W-who are you? What do you want?"
Venom leaned closer, its grotesque face just inches from (Y/N)'s. "I am Venom, the one who shares this host's body with Eddie Brock. I have taken control tonight to speak to you."
(Y/N)'s fear began to ebb as they looked into Venom's eyes, eyes that held an unexpected depth of understanding. "Why are you here?"
Venom's form shifted, its tendrils extending to gently caress (Y/N)'s face. It was an oddly tender gesture from a creature that appeared so menacing. "I am here to tell you that you have nothing to fear from us. Eddie knows your truth, and he accepts you completely."
Tears streamed down (Y/N)'s face, a mixture of relief and gratitude. "You mean... you both accept me?"
Venom nodded, its voice softer now. "Yes, (Y/N), we both accept you for who you are. You are valued, cherished, and loved by us. There is no need to hide your true self."
(Y/N) couldn't hold back their emotions any longer. They buried their face in their hands and sobbed. It was a cathartic release, the weight of years of secrecy and fear lifting from their shoulders.
Venom, in a surprising display of compassion, wrapped its tendrils around (Y/N) in a comforting embrace. "Let it out, (Y/N). You are not alone in this. We are here for you."
As (Y/N) cried in the arms of this enigmatic entity, they felt an overwhelming sense of acceptance and belonging. They knew that they had an ally in the most unexpected of places, and that, together with Eddie and Venom, they could face the challenges of their true self and the world that awaited them.
As days turned into weeks, and the bond between Eddie, Venom, and (Y/N) had grown stronger. They had faced challenges together, supported each other through the highs and lows, and had become an unbreakable trio. But as (Y/N) continued their journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance, a day came when they felt it was time to share something important.
The three of them were gathered in Eddie's apartment, a sense of camaraderie filling the room. Eddie was flipping through a stack of papers for his next story, while Venom's tendrils idly danced in the air, a sign of contentment.
"(Y/N)," Eddie began, his tone warm and inviting, "what's on your mind? You seem like you've got something important to say."
(Y/N) took a deep breath, steeling themselves for what they were about to reveal. "Eddie, Venom, there's something I want to talk to you both about. I've been doing a lot of soul-searching, and I've come to a decision."
Eddie and Venom exchanged glances, concern in their eyes. "You can tell us anything, (Y/N)," Eddie assured.
(Y/N) nodded, gathering their thoughts. "I want to be called (Male Name) from now on. I don't want to go by (Y/N) anymore."
For a moment, there was silence in the room. Eddie and Venom both considered the name change carefully, processing what it meant.
Finally, it was Eddie who broke the silence. "You know, (Male Name), I think that's a great choice. It's a strong name, and it suits you."
Venom, ever perceptive, chimed in as well, "Yes, (Male Name). We like the name, too."
Tears welled up in (Male Name)'s eyes, but this time they were tears of joy and relief. "Thank you, both of you. Your support means the world to me."
Eddie and Venom exchanged a knowing look, a silent acknowledgment of their commitment to standing by (Male Name) as they continued their journey of self-discovery. Together, they embraced this new chapter, knowing that their bond would only grow stronger with each step forward.

The Golden Dagger Club
Tumblr media
Pairing: Shang-chi x symbiote!reader
Word Count: 2145
You were just starting to repair the damages of a recuperating career and then the Blip happened. You were dusted away for five years and appeared back into your shitty apartment – your old shitty apartment that was occupied by someone else – and were left with nothing. Your clothing and furniture were all thrown away and your renewed show was trashed because everyone still alive was trying to cope with the loss of loved ones.
To those that stayed, you were considered lucky. Is it lucky to have nothing to come back to? The banks refused to help and getting any loans needed minimum of five years of income. Obviously that’s impossible as you were dusted for all five of those years making the institution useless. No one was willing to hire either as you were often overqualified or lacked any recent experience in the workforce.
Unlike some of the others who also disappeared, you didn’t have a family to help you adapt to the new culture that flourished whilst you were gone. There was still a semblance of the old but you were on your own.
Waiting was the worst. The United Nations were scrambling to provide provisions, documents, and other essentials for those who came back. It was a real shit show and at times, made you wish you never came back.
You had to worry about scavenging enough food for Venom or else it’s your organs that’ll be on the menu and you want your organs to remain intact and uneaten. You also don’t want to watch Venom bite someone’s head off again. You had to work fast as Venom was most likely going to starve and the government wasn’t working fast enough.
You heard murmurs of an underground tournament that pays very well for winning contestants. You weren’t a stranger of questionably immoral activities. You and Venom needed this. It was a saving grace in the waiting game of darkness. The United Nations were behind on provisions and housings, and you couldn’t wait for the miracle of them hurrying along the process.
So you left. The world didn’t need to know you were back, undusted and alive. It had moved on without you and there was no point in sticking around. The world would believe you were the unlucky ones to be at the wrong place during the Snap.
The world would get to learn of the existence of Venom, see the both of you as more than a blurry black figure from security cameras. See the two of you reappear after your hiatus. Your reappearance will be on that podium, hundred of eyes on you, seeing you, and cheering for you.
You had arrived to your brand new start. A new beginning to the end of a shitty chapter. “Welcome to the Golden Daggers Club! We’re a multi-platform global operation. Every fight live streamed on the dark web. Thousands of viewers placing bets as we speak.” The ringmaster, Jon Jon, explained as he handed you the sign up sheet. You read carefully, not wanting to be screwed over in the end, and when you deemed everything acceptable you signed on. It was fast and easy. Pen on paper and suddenly a new door opened.
There must’ve been hundreds of people in the unfinished building. Small cells, containing smaller fights, lead up to the giant podium where the grander fights and higher betting stakes take place. Within the club, you had to earn your place. Starting in those small cells and work your way up to become a favorite.
Your first opponent was no one memorable. They were enhanced to some degree but nothing remotely close to be able to take the two of you down. It was almost too easy but Venom adored the attention they’d garnered. On the other side of the cell were many onlookers, wanting to see more of the alien creature. It was itching more for fights, more advanced opponents, and scoring chocolate money. The club loved Venom. The fame and attention caught the curiosity of the club’s founder.
Xu Xialing was cold, complex, and a fighter. Her coldness was strictly targeted to men but once she saw the person beneath Venom, she’d lighten up around the two of you. You became her friend. You’d learn bits and pieces of her past while you shared yours. She’d given you a chance to start anew even if she didn’t know it. You felt like you owed her for providing a way to provide for Venom in a way your old job couldn’t. You and Venom took it upon yourselves to take out the trash, people who were trying to shut her operation down. The club meant so much to people and you didn’t want anyone to shit on the empire she’d built.
It was a night like any other. Bets were placed and the money just kept coming. The bar was filled as always and Venom was itching for its turn. “Take it easy on the chocolates, it’s about to be your turn.” You were currently watching the fight between Abomination, who was broken out of prison by his opponent, and the current Sorcerer Supreme, Wong. Wong seemed overwhelmed at first but managed to get Abomination to punch themselves.
“I’ve worked up an appetite.” Venom grunted as they bit the whole chocolate bar in its entirety. You could feel it buzzing with excitement.
Wong had won his fight and you were walking towards the main stage. “Doing what, sitting?” You replied as Venom’s pitch black skin covered you fully. Your thin arms concealed by its large muscles and build. No one in the crowd would ever guess who was underneath its skin.
The name of your opponent was called Flux. You had seen his fights before, seen him climb up ranks. You nor Venom were worried though. You’d let Venom take full control as it was its moment not yours. Venom tore onto the stage, hyping up the crowd, and waited for the fight to begin. The lights, the cheers, and the overwhelming anticipation riddled your being. It was exhilarating and you couldn’t wait for Venom to have the time of its life.
Flux wasn’t overpowered by much. Having superhuman strength, stamina and durability assists in keeping up with you and Venom. You’d been lucky no one has caught on to your weaknesses. As Venom controlled your body, you thought about how different your life had become and how thankful you were for being the right match for Venom. Feeling the immense happiness originating from it makes you happy. You knew Venom felt miserable hidden within your body, not allowed to stretch till night fell. Here in the club, it didn’t matter. Almost every fighter had some enhancement that made them different from everyone else. Had skills most didn’t possess.
Once the fight was over, the club’s staff members dragged Flux away towards the locker room. Venom, after celebrating its win with the crowd, followed afterwards. A giant teeth-filled grin dwelled on its face until its skin disappeared into your body.
You opened your designated locker and pulled out a box of chocolates and a 12 pack of diet soda. Opening them one by one you feed Venom by placing them into its mouth and congratulating them on its win while you consume the diet soda. In moments like these Venom resembled a puppy. Craved for your attention and wanted to feel loved.
You’d notice Jon Jon speaking to someone you’d only seen on your phone. The Bus Boy video that’s been dominating the internet. Venom had dismissed the guy as he wasn’t anything special except for maybe his delicious brain but you didn’t want to find out.
“[Reader], Venom,” Jon Jon yelled, “the boss wants to talk!” The guy next to him watched curiously at the Venom head appearing out of your side.
“If anyone steals even one chocolate or soda, I’ll bite your head off and feast on your organs.” Venom made sure to show off its teeth to the remaining contenders before going to Xialing’s office. You sat down on a chair waiting for her to arrive. Jon Jon left the dubbed Bus Boy in her office as well. He stayed standing, not knowing what to do. He was nervous, that was evident, and a bit awkward.
“Do you know who we are supposed to meet?” He didn’t know how to talk to you or Venom. If he were being honest, Venom kinda scared him. The threats given did not help at all. “I need to find my sister. Do you know her, Xu Xialing?” You noticed he kept a white tissue around his nostrils. The metallic smell of blood allowed you to know the reason why.
You stayed quiet not knowing the reason as to why he was asking. Knowing he was in her workplace, she’ll show herself eventually.
She walked in, taking her place behind her laptop.
“You run this place?” He talked in Mandarin.
“I own it.” She replied back.
Another woman was let in by Jon Jon, counting the stack of cash as she walked into the room. She was adorable when she was caught red handed. Having bet against the man, her friend apparently. “Did you bet against me?”
“No.” She lied. “I bet on that Venom dude earlier.” In an attempt to change the subject, she turned the attention on you and Xialing, “Hi Xialing and stranger. I’m Katy. You’re, like, such a badass. Everything that you do is, like, so cool. That was really cool.” She walked towards one of the seats next to her friend, which you still did not have a name for.
“This is [Reader].” Xialing replied, “The Venom dude from earlier.”
Katy gasped excitedly, “No way! I thought Venom had more muscles. Love the costume by the way. What fabric do you use?” She shook your hand frantically and laughed, “Your fight was so amazing. You made me a lot of money.”
You had never integrated with someone who had so much shameless confidence. She had seen you and Venom fight and she was treating you like a hero. Most run away at the sight of the two of you. It was a nice change of scenery. “Alien, I guess? Venom come out and say ‘hello’ to a fellow fan.”
“A fan…” He muttered as he moved his head towards her, “So unafraid, so courageous. You shall not be eaten.”
She chuckled nervously, “Thank you.”
“I like your pants.” Xialing turned the conversation towards herself.
Katy blushed, “Thank you. Thanks. Yeah.” She was obviously flattered by the compliment as she smoothed out her yellow pants.
“What do you want?” The coldness of Xialing's voice appeared suddenly. A certain sharpness you had never heard, finally making its existence known.
“The Ten Rings ambushed us in San Francisco.” San Francisco was the place where you once lived. The tomb of the life you once had.
“I saw the video.” Everyone had seen the video. It became a viral phenomenon which was rare as it raced against hero and alien sightings, and meet and greets with international heroes.
“They took my pendant. They’re gonna come for yours next.” You had learned about the pendant Xialing never took off as it was a gift from her mother. To learn he shared the same or similar pendant must mean only one thing. “I don’t know what he wants with them, but we both know it can’t be good.”
“You know what he said to me when he left?” You heard this story only once. It was a painful memory of abandonment and the loss of a sibling. Not in death, but in spirit. Lost of hope while living in the fragments of an once happy family. “‘I’ll be back in three days.’ And after three days, I went to our mom’s shrine and waited. Three days turned into a week, a week turned to a month, and a month turned to six years. That’s how long it took me to realize I didn’t need him any more. I built this place on my own. I didn’t need you then, and I don’t need you now.”
“I volunteer to eat him.” Venom liked Xialing. She snuck chocolates to it and was the first person, who wasn’t [Reader], to not be afraid of it. She gave you and it a home. “I’ll make it painful.” He licked his lips to scare Xialing’s brother even more.
Xialing smiled at Venom. It was the thought that counted and Venom meant well. He inched away from you and asked, “Then why would you send me the postcard?”
“What postcard?”
He got up from his seat and reached into his pockets. He slowly walked towards her before handing it to her.
“I didn’t send you this.” After she spoke those words, everything went to shit.
