Hi. So this was a while ago but I finally remembered that I had to post the results of the pet stairs I built using that cardboard so here we are:

First an introduction. This is Lilly. She is a 1.9 kg yorkie that is less than 15cm tall and cannot see anyone laying or sitting on a bed or a sofa without wanting to join in and cuddle. But she is around 9 years old and a while back we rescued her afer she was abandoned by getting thrown out of a car which was really rough on her little legs, so she can no longer jump meaning we are frequently graced with scenes like this:

And her adorable nesting on the blankets:

However after a few times of her not trying to wake us up to set her down to let her go to do her necessities and a couple vomited and pooped on sheets we decided to give her her own way of going down.

Most pet stores have pet stairs or ramps but my bed is taller than average so we had to improvise. I bought some cardboard measured out a step she could comfortably climb and did 3 structured rectangle pillow sort of things connected to each other with velcrum and stuffed with the endless plastic bags we had stored from visits to the supermarket.

This is the end result:

They are easily movable and reconfigurable according to the room we are in and set up we need. The puff is there only in my bedroom as my bed is - as mentioned - taller and I didn't have enough stuffing to make a fourth step but I'm sure I'll eventually have more plastic bags than I can possibly use again. By the way the velcrum closure is there exactly for acsess to the plastic bags.

Why would businesses in a town with 4 separate universities, where the population more than doubles during the school year, close on Sundays and Mondays? I just really need some cardboard people.
